What had happened in the past hour or so all seemed like a blur to Billie. It had all happened so fast. She dismounted the horse and lead it to the lake just as Zayden and Adriena began putting the fire together. She squatted down alongside the horse and rinsed her face with the cool water. Looking down at the distorted mirror-like surface, she tried to gather her thoughts on what had happened.

Zayden had brought her the trousers from a drawer in the room. Curious as to what other articles of clothing that may have been tucked away, Billie took the liberty of rummaging through the oversized clothing until she found a dark brown tunic. After changing, she had entered the living room to get the satchel of food that she had brought for Tyr and Adriena and that was when the chaos had begun.

“I almost feel as if someone is writing some sort of horrific story about me,” she smirked as her imagination faded and she returned to the present. What had once been an innocent good deed had turned an ordinary day into a life threatening adventure. She was speaking allowed but only loud enough that the horse could hear her, not that he paid her any attention. She stretched her neck backwards so that her head hung as she closed her eyes and sighed. The fire was now done, she could hear the wood crackling as it slowly burned away.

Poor Tyr. If only we had had more time,’ she looked over at Zayden and let out another frustrated gust of air. ‘You can’t live in the past now.’ She brought herself to her feet before approaching him and pulled out a large block of wax paper from her bag.

“After that stunt you pulled saving Adriena’s life and all, I’m sure you’re hungry,” she knelt down and unwrapped the package. Within it lay a large medium-rare steak accompanied by green peas and white rice. Though it was no longer hot, the delectable meat still smelled delicious. She wasn’t at all hungry, the nervous knots that were slowly melting away had seemed to devour what was left of her appetite. She reached into the bag again and pulled out a bottle of rum. She allowed herself to fall backwards onto her butt as she uncorked the glass bottle. Throwing her head back and bringing the rim to her lips, she drank the warm alcohol, gritting her teeth as it burned her throat on the way down to her empty stomach. She had no intentions on getting drunk or even slightly intoxicated. She simply needed something to take the edge off of this most eventful morning.

“I bet you Zayden, three gold ones I‘d bet you, that‘s its not even noon yet,” she chuckled as she peered at the Dragon, taking a small sip from the bottle. “And look at what we have accomplished.” She found it slightly odd that she was more interested in sharing her thoughts, out loud I might add, with Zayden the Dragon rather then Adriena, who sat alone near the fire. She looked over at the young girl and felt bad. She had excluded Adriena as if she wasn‘t feeling the same guilt that Billie and Zayden felt. Why wouldn‘t have Adriena wanted to save Tyr? She knew him longer then any of them.

“I have more for you also,” she said as she looked back at Adriena before turning back to Zayden. She playfully grabbed a pea from the food that she had presented Zayden with a weak smile, ‘We can share.

Sesheta looked around in the forest. There was disturbance in the air. She knew that it would be best to get Chiara out while she had the chance. Chiara wasn't her's, and that was obvious by just looking at the two of them together, but she felt a mothering instinct for the child. Of whom she'd taken care of for the last three years. Sesheta's mothering instincts were telling her that she had to relocate Chiara now. Yet the adventuress in her was telling her to explore and find this unrest.

Sesheta bit her bottom lip. Her moonlit eyes stared intently out of her dark face as she thought. Then she nodded her decision made. She would move Chiara, after all, Chiara really for all her intelligence, didn't need to deal with all the unrest in the air. It would make her fearsome, and Sesheta couldn't stand to see Chiara in pain or scared. Sesheta grimaced as she remembered the times Chiara had been in pain. Those definitely not her best memories.

Sesheta stood up, uncrossing her legs from her meditation pose. Quietly she watered the fire. Quickly the fire gave up and died. Then she moved the remains of it around, so as to look like there'd never been a fire. Silently she tack up the horses and put her and Chiara's bags onto Chiara's white pony. Sesheta attached the white pony to her black horse before picking Chiara up and placing her sleeping body on her saddle. Then she jumped up onto her horse and placed Chiara's copper head onto her chest.

Sesheta slowly spurred her horse into a walk and head out of their campsite. Sesheta took in the sights and sounds of the forest as she smoothly steered around trees and their giant roots. Her white eyes glowed in the dark from the forest eerily. Sesheta held onto the reins with on hand as she used her other hand to hold onto the sleeping Chiara. Her dark skin over the child's milky white skin, made Chiara's look even paler. Sesheta's hand reached up and caressed the child's smooth cheek in a calming way, as her horse Aro steadily made his way through the forest.

Chiara moved in her sleep, adjusting her body to the saddle, and molded her self even more into Sesheta's slim, curving body. Her copper hair flew to the right side as a gust of wind came blowing by. Sesheta automatically reached up and pulled the girl's hair back with her hand, the slim fingers pulling her hair away from her face. Sesheta looked up confused as Aro entered a clearing. There were a few people in it. And that was what confused her.
'Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!'

OOC: Its your character gold dragon. You'll have to do that.

Zayden watched in amazement as this mere human gave life to the fire. Only a few seconds after it began it crackled merrily as the fire in Ahriman's home. Thinking of the man brought sadness to Zayden's heart and so he shook his head, as if shaking the memories from his weary mind. Closing his wings close around his body he walked forward towards Billie who carried with her an assortment of foods. His stomach growled and as he licked his lips he noticed that blood still stained them.

Standing up on his long legs he walked slowly over towards the water and drove his muzzle into the clear water, breaking the calm surface and sending ripples of disturbance across the lake. After a few moments of rinsing his face the blood was gone and he returned to Billie's side. Giving her an affectionate nuzzle he began to hum deep from within his throat with pleasure at the sight of the food she had laid before him. He almost seemed to smile as he bit easily through the stake, ripping a piece off for himself and swallowing it whole. It tasted delicious, his first meal on the earth. He could hardly wait to see what other foods awaited them in the land beyond.

Now that he had a chance to take in more of his surroundings he did so, lying beside Billie as she ate and drank he gazed out at the open world with velvety violet hues. The forest broke only a few meters away from them, to their right was a high mountain to their left the forest stretched out to far to see, to their back lay their village a place of green.. But to their front a vast unforgiving desert with a hot sun that beat down across the sands with a fiery rage. It was hard to see what lay beyond the sand dunes but one thing was sure.. if they planned to take things on foot, the journey would be a hard beginning.

Zayden knew he would have to carry them upon his back once he grew to his full extent and could only lay there and dream of the wind dancing through his wings. He found himself lost in thought for a moment and felt comfortable enough to lay his head upon the ground, if he had not he would not have heard the vibrations of hooves walking towards them. Zayden sprang to his feet and arched his back, wings extended in a defensive position towards whatever approached them. 'A rider comes near' He hissed darkly into Billie's own thoughts as the two females came into view of Adriena, Billie and Zayden.

Zayden growled and as he did so his body began to chance, his tale once smooth to the tip turned the color of sand and the tip grew pointed and sharp as a dagger. From his arched back grew more pointed dagger spikes that went from behind to head. His two innocent horns also chanced, turning forward and becoming equally sharp. His clawed feet became sharper as he bared his still new teeth, though they seemed to be slightly sharper than before. His wings stayed the same though the rest of him changed the sandy color with small orangery speckled scales all across his now threatening looking appearance.

His growl grew louder and a few times he let out a strange roaring bark, as if commanding the strangers to declare themselves at once. The sooner they discovered the strangers intentions, the sooner they would end in conflict or peace.

Billie ate what was left of the remaining food, knowing that any amount of liquor wasn’t taken well on an empty stomach. Once the wax paper was clean except for the juices left from the steak and sides, she closed up her bottle of rum and tucked it away in her bag. She leaned back, starring up at the branches that formed a canopy over their heads. The sun peaked through the interwoven leaves and seemed to dance on the ground.

Such a simple sight brought a smile to her face. This tranquility was soon lost as ‘A rider comes near,’ echoed within the depths of her mind causing the hairs on the back of her neck began to stand on end. She turned her attention to Zayden as he began his transition.

She brought herself to her feet as the peacefulness that had once graced her face now turned into a domineering glare, knowing all to well Zayden’s sense of nearing danger. She felt vulnerable without a weapon to arm herself with but atleast Adriena had a sword and Zayden was a Dragon after all. Just as she raised her head to look at what had caught Zayden’s attention, a large horse followed by a white pony made its way out of the wilderness. The most surprised thing was what was mounted upon the beast’s saddle rather then the appearance of the party itself.

The unfamiliar woman had almost an olive shade of skin with strikingly blue hair. But those eyes. Billie stared the woman right in those brilliant almost luminescent eyes. It was a wonder neither her nor Zayden had seen the riders coming or heard them due to all the jewelry that the woman wore. As Billie’s eyes continued to trace over the woman’s characteristics, she saw the young girl in her lap. The girl was fast asleep as if the ride into the clearing had been as soft as the rocking of a cradle. The girl didn’t look anything like the woman carrying her but instead had much fairer skin with auburn hair. Her face was still plump with youth and Billie couldn’t help but notice the ears that jetted out from the sides of the young girl’s head. She was familiar with elves, they didn’t drink much but still every once in a while one would drop in the tavern. She also knew that for the most part, Elves were peaceful creatures.

Though she knew that having a Dragon could be punishable by death of its rider or the actual creature, Billie no longer felt threatened by the two intruders’ presence. She refrained from laying a calming hand on Zayden’s back, ‘I don’t feel threatened by them.’ She looked over at him as he held his tense pose, hoping that what she believed was a mental connection between the two was true.

She lifted her eyes back to the woman upon the horse, “Why are you here?” Though her emotions were no longer heightened in caution, her features were remained in a defensive expression along with her stance and the tone of her voice. She may not have felt the need to fear the two but she did not want to make the mistake of underestimating them either.

"I'd ask you the same thing, but I think I know the answer." Sesheta said. She looked up at the dragon in a very unassuming, and emotionless way. Her expression could easily be thought of as boredom. Of course it wasn't. In fact for her it could almost be called an expression of amazement. Not that anyone but Chiara knew that of course. Then she gathered Chiara up in her arms and jumped off Aro, her horse.

If anything the jump proved that she too was Elven. It was quick and smooth, almost to smooth for the inexperienced eye to discern from one moment on the horse to the ground. It was a swift leap, landing her about 5 feet away from her horse. Other then a slightly different arrangement of her dark blue hair, she looked not the slightest bit ruffled. The other most remarkable thing was that Chiara was still asleep in her arms, proving the smoothness of the jump.

Her silver moon charms fluttered silently in the breeze, as she strode calmly towards Aro and Alva, the white pony that was Chiara's. Deftly she tied them both to some trees, they both fell to grazing. She shifted Chiara to one arm and took the bags and saddles off them. She set the leather onto the ground before turning back to the woman who'd questioned her. Proficiently she watched the clearing for any signs of danger before leaning onto a tree.

First her eyes flitted towards the woman who'd questioned her. She looked at the peanut butter skin, brown eyes and black curling hair. She didn't seem like to much of a threat. Well not to her at least. Then her eyes flickered to the dragon. Okay, he could be more of a problem. But it wasn't like she was about to attack. Then shifted her hold on Chiara again. This time less carefully. She sucked in a breath and closed her eyes, biting her bottom lip.

Chiara still slept. Sesheta let out the breath that she held. Her left hand held Chiara up and her right hand made small circular motions on her back. Then her eyes flickered back to the woman. "I came here to get away from the disturbances, but it seems that I found what caused it instead." She stared at the woman, one eyebrow tilted upwards. Her reddish brown lips were parted a small bit, her head tilted up.

Sesheta's eyes opened wide, there silver white color burning higher and hotter then before. Seemingly burning through the darkness of the forest. Chiara too opened her eyes. They were a more natural color, but still unnatural. Chiara's eyes opened wide, exposing the overly large pupils and very dark, very unnaturally colored irises. Then the five year old turned to stare at the dragon. In her face was such a look of delight and amazement, that most people wouldn't be able to resist it.

Adriena stayed inside the cave. She ignored Billie not trying to offend her but not really realizing she was doing it. Her eyes remained on the fire for the most part. The flames cackled somewhat menacingly and the sparks spilled out onto the ground. The slivers of flames seemed to fight with one another, each trying to become the most dominent and be the greater flame. The colors were like the changing leaves which were of course her favorite.

Looking outside the cave, the leaves were still green, a nice hearty color that made the forest more peaceful. Just beyond some of the trees was the desert where she had heard many rumors about villagers going out and never returning. Aparrently a creature lived there, a creature so vile and dangerous, none can escape it. Though they were just rumors.

Adriena rose to her feet. She bent down and picked up the hat that had fallen when she sat down next to the fire and then wrapped up her hair in it. Once again she resembled the boy that the villagers all knew about. She sighed, thinking about Ahriman before hearing the low growls from the dragon.

Adriena rushed out of the cave, her hand directly reaching for the elven sword apon her hip. The hilt of the sword seemed to fit around her palm and was comforting and seemed right. She was about unsheeth it when she remembered the necklace that hung apon her neck. When looking at it, she could see that the crystal was not glowing that blood red that was a sure sign of danger and her hand relaxed on the handle.

Adriena watched carefully at the intruders, but then again, they could be the intruders since they entered the forest. She walked closer to where Billie and Zayden were, her eyes never leaving them. She was curious as to why they were there but decided not to ask them. Aparently they had just arrived from what she could gather.

"We were escaping a disturbance as well.." she said, her voice low as to sound like a man. "I'm Adrien." she said using the name the guys called her in the village.

She noticed the child and the way her eyes opened wide with delight at the sight of the dragon. Adriena restrained from smiling, trying to keep a manly demeanor. The two elves did not look alike whatsoever and just from that she could tell that they were of no relations. Of course she was curious as to why they had ended together but again refrained from asking.

"And yours?" she asked.

Elan had enjoyed mostly the stories of Tyr's past and so on when he walked away he again walked a dusty path -I wish to help... find the dragons.- He stopped to rest when he saw a egg, not a dragon egg no but a bird. Usually he could tell but he couldn't tell on this one. He lightly swiped the egg with his index finger and sensed its presence, wait it wasn't the bird so what was it? He heard heavy breathing and felt hot breath he turned around and saw a vakkar. He did a back flip to avoid a slash with deadly claws of purple and red hues. He summoned his staff and it quickly transformed into a spear he tried to avoid another attack but was slashed with a horizontal swipe withe the demons claws. He started to bleed and it felt a sharp rip he had to do something and fast so he quickly swiped the demon through the throat and causing it to cover its neck. He was to weak to finish the battle so he had to flee he quickly ran and picked up the egg and started to take off his cloak reveling his wings he spread them out and took off he tried to get away as fast as possible he soared above the forest and started to fall he couldn't take it he fell in front of a cave and passed out....

OOC: I don't understand your posts for the most part gold dragon. And my post suuucckkkksssss -brainoverloads- ... -EXPLOSION- XD

Zayden felt his temper dim and fall away, his back which had once been arched forward like a cats exposing the deadly spines now fell back to its original position. His body also softened considerably, chancing back into the peaceful white dragon he had once been. 'I sense no danger from these two.' He murmured softly also emitting a low growl and gently rubbing his face against Billie's leg in a sign of affection towards her.

It was strange to see elves but not unheard of, as Billie had seen they did indeed often travel to pubs. But pure elves that worked in the ways of magics and taught the languages of plants and animals where very rare to see.. As rare it was to see a female elf--often if caught by humans they where sold into slavery or else kept as slaves for the males bidding. Zayden had collected information as the years passed and he felt a certain hate for the males of the human race.. though it could not be helped, however wrong it was.. it was human nature.

But how odd it was to see the elves beside the Hydra's Desert. Zayden wondered silently why it was called such a place.. Hydra's lived in the sea did they not? He was sure eventually they would all find out one way or the other, he hoped however it was by signs and old desert riders tales rather than personal experience.

Zayden turned his violet hues upon the little elf who's name he did not know. Or at least he thought she was an elf.. something in her scent. He moved from Billie's side and slowly approched the two women, stretching out his neck and gently nuzzling at the little girls chest, taking in a few whiffs of her scent before pulling his face away, sneezing and giving a shake of the head. Again moving his face against her chest he gave a gentle nuzzle this time of affection, letting a low peaceful hum vibrate in the lower extremities of this throat. 'I'll behave as long as the child stays away from my tail.' Zayden said with a sarcastic tone, his voice reverberating in Billie's head.

He would have kept his head peacefully in her lap if it had not been for yet another disturbance beside the cave where they had set camp, a tall figure letting off a strong sent of blood had collapsed into the grass feet from where Adriena or.. Adrien, stood. 'We seem very popular today.' Zayden said trying to keep his voice calm, though he knew Billie would catch his unsure feelings.. if they attracted this much attention the Vakkar would surely catch up to them in a matter of hours--if this little party was going to continue any further they would be best to keep it moving. But if that human.. thing covered in blood was still alive wounds would need treating.. which would take up time they could use to aquaint themselves and move out.

Zayden wasn't suggesting they leave him for dead, but if plans where not made soon for a route away from the Vakkar towards whomever knew of the dragons whereabouts then they journey would be over before it even began.

OOC:This is probally gonna be rrrrrreeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyy sucky so yeah it would be better if the others were on.

Elan clutched the dry light grass as if trying to grasp life and reality. The egg roled out sitting on its pale white side. "I... I'm sorry to worry you I'm fine." He covered his wound with his hand. He ripped off some of his clothing and placed it on his wound, he raised his rope belt to secure the clothing gauze. His wings were folded and rested on his back. "You should know that I'm Elan." He walked to the fresh water river and sank his hands in it, he brought up some water and splashed it on his face and repeating it and instead drinking it.

Adriena walked foward a bit towards the elves and the dragon. Her hand was no longer on the hilt of the elven made sword but for some reason was itching to grasp it for the feeling of safety even if danger was not close by. At least she believed it wasn't. Her green pools washed over the expression of the child elf and a small smile curled around her lips. Zayden had already returned to his glossy white scaled self which made Adriena feel slightly better.

When something fell from the sky, She whipped around, her hand full of pleasure when the sword was unsheethed and held at defensive position. It felt natural in her hands for the fact that as a young child she was always practicing with large branches believing she would be a warrior when she was older. She ended up being a hustler to the male figures and a maid to Martha. Adriena's eyes scanned the body, watching his hands grasping the grass. She returned the sword to its spot on her hip. Her necklace was not glowing and there was no need to have it out.

Adriena watched him rise from the ground heading to the little stream. Blood was all over his arm and had stained the grass where he had fallen. She looked around the forest now knowing the scent of blood would draw predators. Looking at where he had fallen, she noticed the egg. It definitely was not a dragon's egg but it was something that did not seem to be a regular bird. Walking over to it, Adriena picked it up, holding it in her hands. It felt rather warm almost like fire was burning within it and she could almost feel the life within it. She held on to it, almost not wanting to let go of it.

Re: From The Mouths of Dragons ( )

Billie watched as the Elven woman leaped from her horse, finding it odd as if she couldn’t have simply dismounted the beast. The stranger’s cold features and unemotional reaction to Zayden seemed to add fuel to a building fire of resentment. Billie held back a scowl as the stranger made herself at home., tying her horses to trees as if the party had invited her to stay with them. She lightly furrowed her brows as if she could smell a stench coming from the two riders.

To Billie, three was a crowd with the wrong people but four females and a dragon was absolutely ludicrous. She had never gotten along with other women, mostly because she had different obligations and goals in life, and she found women to be pretentious and often judgmental of her lifestyle. Woman found her promiscuous and juvenile ways a ploy for attention from men who would never marry her. Men who only sought out to objectify her before moving on to another to do the same. Above all else, women held standards to other women. They were suppose to act and dress a certain way, suppose to refrain from certain activities such as heavy drink and pre-marital sex. They were suppose to primp until chosen by a male who would then court her, marry her and eventually impregnate her. Billie hated children; she hated the idea of marriage; and feared the idea of losing her freedom.

This woman was no different then any other woman whom Billie had run into. Yes, she was a maverick in the fact that she was a traveler, riding alone without a man for protection. But, she had still found her way to weasel into the entrapment of a child. An entrapment that Billie herself had been avoiding since the age 16.

She watched as the others began to flock towards the young child, paying close attention to Zayden. Despite her disdain for other mothers, she had grown quite maternal towards the white Dragon.

“I’m Billie and that is Zayden,” she pointed towards the scaly creature as he mimicked the same affection on the child which he had shown Billie earlier. She allowed the ice surrounding her heart to melt. It was not the child’s fault for being whom she was. She crossed her arms over her chest as she watched the others react.

Once again, the peacefulness of the immediate space was interrupted, this time by a winged fellow with blood covering his chest. Billie turned her cold gaze on him.

I don’t think we’ll ever experience a normal day again, Zayden.’ She walked towards him, listening to his words. Her eyes then fell on the smooth egg. It was much more beautiful then Zayden’s previous womb but was just as large. She knelt down beside it, afraid to touch its shell but instead looked over at the man who now was now washed in the river.

She stood and turned to Adriena, “We need to leave.” Her voice was demanding as if they should have never come to this particular spot. “He is covered in blood and if that,” she pointed towards the egg, “is what I think it is, he has put us in danger.” As she spoke, she walked over to untie her horse from the nearby tree, holding it by the reins, and grabbed her bag.

((I'm sorry that this is so short))

Sesheta bit her lip as the woman stared at her harshly. She could feel her dislike wrapping around her. She closed her eyes again, the displeasure was pure on her face. She felt Chiara push against her chest, wanting to stand on the ground. Sesheta sighed. Then she brought the girls head towards her lips. She uttered a few words into her ear that would be just random sounds to those who weren't pure Elves.

Chiara nodded, understanding. Then Sesheta set the girl down. Sesheta sighed as she watched Chiara walk around the clearing. Chiara's dark green eyes moved around as she watched everyone. She stood stalk still, just like Sesheta had a moment before. This time Sesheta let her whole weight lay on the tree. She watched Chiara sadly. She knew there was probably no hope of the child ever speaking but she could wish. She'd never spoken even though she was around five now.

Then Sesheta turned her gaze onto the Angel who'd fallen from the sky. It seemed strangely ironic to her. "Oh, a fallen Angel." Sesheta said. The sarcasm weighted her voice down. "How ironic." She voiced her thoughts almost muttering to herself. Then she looked at the male who'd fallen. "You'd better get patched up some more, or else you will be followed." Her cat like eyes glinted. She held out her hand and Chiara came to her. Then she lifted Chiara up onto her white pony, Alva. Then she got onto Aro. She waved. Then she and Chiara started their horses walking. She turned back in her saddle and waved. "Thank you so much for the hospitality!" She said, the sarcasm in her voice prominent. Then she added more sincerely, "Safe travels!" Then she and Chiara kept walking away.

OOC: Forgive me if I mod at all in this post. </3

Had it not been for the sudden random events co responding to each other in such fluid and ironic ways Zayden was sure this journey would have been off to a better less confusing start. But fate unravels in strange ways and those beings that rested upon the earth where powerless to stop it. Zayden felt his body trembling with the build up of information.. or was that simply is growth? He had not grown sense he slept in Ahriman's home and at that moment felt a slight sense of dread creep across his flesh, What if he never grew and instead stayed this small insignificant size useless to them all?

The very thought made him feel sick, opening his mouth to let out a light cough, fighting back the urge to vomit. Keeping the food inside his belly for now Zayden turned to see the two elves leaving as quickly and quietly as they had come. It was not sudden leaving of the elves into the unforgiving desert that surprised Zayden.. it was the loud shrieking cries from behind them that caused his head to jerk in alarm, turning violent violet hues to the injured male and Adriena then to Billie who he knew must be thinking the same thing as he was. Vakkar.

How long had they been followed by the beasts? Obviously Ahriman was not able to hold them as long as he had said he would.. that or the creatures ran swift and fast with rage in their hearts and blood on their minds. 'We have to leave now! Take after the elves on your horses into the desert.. The Vakkar will loose our scent in the heat and our trail in the ever-shifting sands.' His voice intertwined with fear as he struggled to stay courageous and brave... dragons did not feel fear.--Or did they? He had never known any other dragons to walk upon the earth only gathered information from Ahriman's library and how they acted, their noble and sometimes frightening ways moving through the skies, the seas without fear it seemed.

But now was not the time to fall into his thoughts, now was time for action least the Vakkar catch up with them--they where in no condition to begin fighting with a wounded stranger and two women who had little experience with blades, enough to carry them slightly into a fight.. but enough to win? 'Hurry.' Zayden pressed into Billie's mind as he raced with the two horses into the desert, occasionally circling around them in midair to make sure the stranger didn't fall off Adriena's horse. Eventually without much difficulty they caught up to the elven women and their running turned into a fast sort of walk, eager they where to get as much distance between them and the Vakkar. 'I don't believe we should be so easy to dismiss these elves.. If they where able to direct us towards the elven city we might have an easier time finding the other Dragons.' Zayden turned his purple eyes upon Billie, trying to read her emotions through her face.

The party seemed to travel for a few moments in silence, Zayden surfing the wind currents and keeping himself up in the air for as long as possible. The three horses and little pony had begun to talk amongst themselves or at least it seemed that way, a few times stopping and pawing at the ground nervously before carrying on with the little group. Zayden would never be able to understand the ways of those four-legged beasts that carried humans where-ever they desired.. then again when he grew he would become something of that nature, so he couldn't talk one bit. As he touched back down to the ever-moving earth he felt what the horses had been feeling all this time. A gentle vibration in the sand that grew greater and greater. Zayden halted, lowering his body to the earth and letting his belly feel the rumbling of the sands.

He was sure now.. from one of the books in Ahriman's study, the reason it was called The Hydra Desert. Zayden let out a loud roar which in turn startled the horses who bucked and moved away from where he stood. It happened faster than when lightening touched the earth. Zayden's mind connected with Billie's, telling her all he knew and all that was about to conspire.. then...

The sands around the little white dragon seemed to sink then erupt like a volcano spewing forth volcanic ash and fire. But no fire or ash... sand. It sprayed in every direction hiding from view what had grow up from the earth. Zayden was flying up in the air, high above the giant beast that had risen up from deep beneath the surface of the burning sands. A large serpent creature with smooth tan scales, its jaws open wide moving upwards to grab its meal.. the dragon that was fighting to fly higher.

If only his wings had been stronger he would have been able to escape.. the mighty jaws enclosed round the little dragon as the serpent turned its body in the direction of the horses, large black eyes fixing upon another tasty meal.
It looked like a cross between a snake and some sort of bug, the scales on its sides flexed in and out all the better to move fast underground through the sands. Its snout with two slits for nostrils and mouth wide, dripping from its teeth a milky white substance that burned into the sands and rock as it fell down upon them. Something wasn't right the beast should have attacked them by now, Hydra of the sand where known for their quick kills and any desert dweller would tell you tales of men who had been there one second and gone the next.

But this beast remained in place.. and then its eyes began to bulge from their sockets, his throat where Zayden's supposed dead corps now digested was swelling, creating a large lump in the giant serpents body. Without any warning the serpent exploded sending jets of a dark sickly purple substance all across the sand let rain. It was not acid but in someways one would wish it was.. the smell was utterly disgusting. The rest of the large beast lay strung across the sands.. but it was not that which kept ones gaze, it was the large white creature that flew in the spot where the serpents head had been moments ago, high above them.

Zayden had grown. No longer a dog-sized beast as he landed nearby their little party he shook the purple innards off of his large impressive form, still violet eyes gazing down upon them all. He seemed to grin at the horses who made nervous hoof beats against the ground and tiny whinny's. His large muscular wings folded neatly against his back as he moved his head down toward Billie. 'Now we can fly together.' His voice was one of simple pleasure as he continued to look down at her, though he turned his head down toward the sand his large scaled feet sank into. 'I'm taking back to the skies... We have to leave.. I sense more Hydra.' Zayden shook his head and let a low growl escape him. 'Let them all know their is no time to waste... they may feed on their fallen brother but once its body is empty of flesh they will be after us.'

He seemed to smile again as he gazed at Billie once more. 'Being inside that thing reminded me of my egg.. very cramped.' Without a moments hesitation he took off into the air and flew away out of their sight, then back and circled them, twisting and twirling through the air as happy as he could ever be. For he had grown and become like the dragons in all the stories he had once heard.

OOC:I didn't see that coming. Hope I'm not controlling or anything.

Elan felt better then he had back there in the forest knowing there was a dragon a full grown he thinks. "Thank you I'm better now." Elan said as he jumped off the horse and soared in the air next to the dragon. He turned his head and looked at the dragon he had never saw one before only just imagine a creature with such streanghth. He swooped down closer to the sandy ruff ground. Then he heard a giant loud roar. He turned to see what it was... A hydra! "Hurry there already here!"

He foldeed his wings and landed, then it appeared right in his face, he could see in the distance the dead hydra with many more feeding on it. The new hydra had launched through the sand and dived as fast as it popped out. Elan quickly summoned his rod gaurding for his life, sadly his rod was to short and the hydra had got him.

The hrdra had pulled him in the sand and he was now falling what seemed to be a bottemless pit. "I'm not through yet!" Elan said as he transeformed his rod to a spear. He stabbed the hydra side fom the inside of the mighty beast. That keeped him up but that wasn't the end. He flew as fast as he could up or down he couldn't tell. It was awile before he hit something the end he took out the spear and stopped flying he then through his weopen in the air and when it fell he kicked it as hard as he could it ripped through the beast and fell he caught it and flew out, he spined his spear like a propeller to tear through the sand when he reached solid ground he pulled himself up.

He ran to catch up with the others. And jumped to fly when he got there he breathed heavily and smelt like the hyrdra did when it exploded.
