Set 100 years after Zordon's death, the good will placed over the universe from his energy has begun to wane against outside negative forces. With the help of Alpha, Billy's great-grandson Dr. Michael Cranston is able to find out who this new threat is... The NegaBots! Creatures that are part living being, part machine. Their soul purpose is to extract the necessary materials from the core of each planet in the galaxy in order to create more of their kind and to feed their leader, King Askel.

The only way for them to stop the NegaBots is to use a form of energy that is faster than the speed of light to meet the challenges of space travel. Through science alone, it is almost impossible with the technology they have... Alpha and Michael have no other choice. Summoning the assistance of Dimitria and the reformed Divatox, Alpha and Michael are able to create a light energy that has been infused with both science and magic to create what they have determined to be: Super Spectrum.

The light is then dismantled into seven separate color waves in order for it to be used by certain human beings. The call now begins to go out, looking for those special fighters willing to go above and beyond their natural limitations and save the galaxy from danger. Caution must be used though, as this power is beyond anything the world has seen, and if it should fall into the wrong hands, it could mean the end of existence...

Each Ranger will fall under one of the light spectrum. As such, I would like to have elements match the colors: Red=Fire, Orange=Earth/Rock, Yellow=Lightning, Green=Wood, Blue=Air, Indigo=Water/Ice, Violet=Chakra/Spritual Energy. Later on, I will be planning on creating a White ranger to represent the rangers' powers all joined together and the Black ranger as the NegaBots 'antidote' to the rangers. For now, I just want to get the story rolling, so we'll start with the seven main rangers, and maybe a baddie or two if I need the help...

Red Ranger

Personality: Sort of the resistant leader type, Geoff is kind-hearted, yet stubborn at the same time. He will go out of his way to make sure his friends are safe, but it takes a little bit of persuasion to get him to that point. When not in combat, Geoff is more than likely to sit in the background and let others hash out problems or plans. He is very sure about himself and hardly questions his own motives or constitution.

Bio: Growing up as the child of a single working mother, Geoff spent a lot of his time out on the streets of the city, trying his best not to get in trouble, but not turning down a bit of fun when opportunity struck. Causing his mother much strife, she chose to enroll him into the military academy, hoping it would straighten him out. It did for a short time, but Geoff often felt pressured to combat training when all he wanted to do was read a book or write a poem. When he dropped out of the military, he promised never to lift a weapon against another human being ever again...

Other Skills: As having spent time in the Military Academy, Geoff has some training in hand-to-hand combat and has a decent sense of battle tactics.

Personality: The "surfer dude." Stevo just likes to chill, dude. No worries, just the ride the wave. This can get annoying after a while and makes some think he's just lazy.

Bio: Stevo is the son of George Olsen, a famed investor, and Jenny Sweet, an actress. He spent his day as a little kid at the beach. He's actually pretty traveled and spent a year in Brazil learning capoeira, a mixture of dancing and fighting. Now he spends almost every waking moment on the water or wanting to be on the water.

Other Skills: None, though he has access to a lot of money and his parents pay for just about everything.

Wow, never expected to see somethin' like this around here. Which makes me interested in seeing where it goes. I used to love the original Power Rangers... Guess I still do, it just isn't on TV anymore.

Personality: He's the slick, suave, and cool type. A bit overconfident, having studied hap ki do for eleven years. He's not one to initiate a fight, but rarely will he turn one down, as he will see it as a perfect opportunity to show off what he can do. He can be a ladies' man when he needs to be, and isn't afraid to throw caution and his shirt to the wind when trying to impress them.

Bio: Ryo's father is the high-level corporate type, spending virtually all of his time in the top-level office of some high-rise in the heart of town, never really caring for or about his son. But Ryo didn't follow the norm and become a dilinquant; he just became sort of callous instead. He never knew his mother, and his father won't say a thing about her. He stopped caring some time ago. His father has planned for Ryo to follow in his footsteps, but Ryo has planned not to.

Other Skills: Third-degree black belt in hap ki do. He owns a dark blue Suzuki GSX1300R, which is his primary mode of transportation and most prized possession.

Will the Black Ranger be a PC or NPC? If PC I would be interested in playing it. If NPC, I suppose I could make a Henchman.

It will probably be PC, but as I said, its a ways done the road in the storyline. A Henchman would be nice too. Remember, its a fusion of organic and machinery. Like a cyborg you could say, but it can be with any sort of creature.

Bio: Tamya is the youngest sister of TJ. She grew up in a wealthy neighborhood, her father a Co President of a high end business and her mother a leading Actress. Though her parents where hardly ever home, her brother TJ has always found time for her and she loves him dearly. They grew up getting any and everything they wanted, but it never went to their heads and they always stayed humble and polite to others. She goes to school at a local high school where she is very popular and a Senior.
Other Skills: Tamya is skilled in martial arts, TJ takes her to every lesson and practice at a local dojo as well as other dojos.

Personality: TJ is outgoing but protective of his sister. Being that his parents are rich and are often not home, he feels that he has somewhat raised Tamya. He is strong willed and speaks his mind, he doesn't back down from a challenge.
Bio: TJ is the oldest brother of Tamya. He grew up in a wealthy neighborhood with his father being a Co President of a high end company and his mother being a Actress. TJ was left with a great responsibilty. He took care of his sister, being the oldest, and has a never ending bond with her. He always finds time to help her and take her wherever she needs to go. TJ was given anything he wanted, but he rarely wanted anything. He always gave to others and has always been the "NICE" guy in the family. TJ works at the business his father is Co President of and makes an above average salary.
Other Skills: TJ is skilled in martial arts, being a black belt at a local dojo. He has a dark violet Chevy Malibu which was a gift from his parents when he turned 18.

Okay, The Virginian... Your profile is approved provided you come up with a different weapon since it's too similar to Blue's. As for chaostempest, I like both of them so maybe you could revise it to make it so that they are twins? As long no one else has a problem and you can handle writing for two different characters then I don't see why you can't have both. Let me know you decision so I can modify the signup. Otherwise all we need is an orange ranger!

You mean too similar to Indigo's, right? Blue's weapons are greaves.

Personality: Due to her nature, her real personality is hard to pin down. Staritix can mimic a wide range of emotions and this plays into her normal personality. Since she is mostly machine her regular persona is impassive and somewhat intimidating. However, she has a natural curiosity that is occasionally seen about her.

Bio: Staritix was created long ago by King Askel himself when he first started searching other planets for energy sources. She was made to scout out other planets without being detected by the natives, if there were any. Though her natural form is mostly machine, she has the capability of mimicking the outer shell of any living species. Throughout the years she has helped scout out many planets and gathered materials to help create more of her kind and feed her King. She is very loyal to him and currently has been sent to Earth to find the materials needed to sustain her fellow NegaBots and King Askel.

Other Skills: Though the dagger whip is her main weapon, she has been known to carry plasma blasters and is trained in hand to hand combat.
