In an attempt to continue to convince the Ranger, though it would appear as if they already knew otherwise, that her and Delen were just innocent bystanders, Staritix offered a hand out to Geoff, the leader. Her warm smile remained plastered on her lips, her mouth starting to open as she was about to speak. But before any noise could escape Delen, for whatever reason, decided to jump ship and started up the hoverboard, zipping away from the city and leaving Staritix stranded.
A frown briefly appeared on her face. Figures, she thought to herself, Delen ditches me at his earliest convience... probably to try and get rid of me. Before she could lose herself in her thoughts, she put a light expression on her face and in her eyes and offered a wave to the departing Delen. "I'll see you later, Ryan!" She shouted to him, even though she was sure he would be out of hearing range.
The NegaBot looked back to Geoff, a sheepish grin on her lips now. "Friends can be so fickle sometimes," she told him with a smirk. Staritix didn't pay much attention to the others in the group, she knew that if she could gain the trust, or at least acceptance of the leader, the rest would fall in line.
"I'm Star, by the way."
My pilot's license? It's out back in the Cessna. Or perhaps you're referring to my license to kill. Revoked - problems at the Kazakhstan border. I'd give you the details, but then I'd have to kill you... which I can't do because my license to kill has been revoke
