Set 100 years after Zordon's death, the good will placed over the universe from his energy has begun to wane against outside negative forces. With the help of Alpha, Billy's great-grandson Dr. Michael Cranston is able to find out who this new threat is... The NegaBots! Creatures that are part living being, part machine. Their soul purpose is to extract the necessary materials from the core of each planet in the galaxy in order to create more of their kind and to feed their leader, King Askel.
The only way for them to stop the NegaBots is to use a form of energy that is faster than the speed of light to meet the challenges of space travel. Through science alone, it is almost impossible with the technology they have... Alpha and Michael have no other choice. Summoning the assistance of Dimitria and the reformed Divatox, Alpha and Michael are able to create a light energy that has been infused with both science and magic to create what they have determined to be: Super Spectrum.
The light is then dismantled into seven separate color waves in order for it to be used by certain human beings. The call now begins to go out, looking for those special fighters willing to go above and beyond their natural limitations and save the galaxy from danger. Caution must be used though, as this power is beyond anything the world has seen, and if it should fall into the wrong hands, it could mean the end of existence...
The sun was beating down unusually harsh as Geoff cruised in his jeep towards an unknown location. It had been a long time since anyone had put out a call for his help, but perhaps it was time to try something different. The gravel and dirt beneath his tires assured that this ride would only be a reminder of the dangerous possibilities that awaited him at the end of this drive. From what he could get from the message, they needed help with some sort of experiment for inter-stellar travel. They didn't mention much of anything else, but the "death annulment" clause faxed for him to sign meant that there was the distinct possibility it could get really messy if he wasn't careful.
The road began to veer to the right, causing the mountains to drop off and begin to reveal a large funky looking base. It looked like a large smoke stack sat as the foundation of the structure while the building arched in a curve outward from the stack and then had wings attached at the ends. It looked like something familiar, something like this...

Geoff could only guess what could be going on behind those walls, but continued along the road anyways. There was no action in being a coward. Finally, he pulled up to the building and put his car into park. Though he didn't get out right away, he took a moment to let everything sink in. This whole experience was beginning to get too strange even for him to grasp. Another nagging notion, was the fact that there were no other cars there. Didn't the guy say something about this being a team mission?
He let out a deep breath before turning off the ignition and getting out. He took a few steps towards the building, but backtracked and leaned against the hood of his jeep instead. It would be best to wait for backup, if any, than to go into this weird building alone and unguarded...
