Power struggle: Glory Vs Kane... ( )

OOC:

Setting: Rioting city.
Image

Rules: Mid to High-tier, Power battle, T1
Match time limit: 7 days.

-Alright, with a riot going on we can bend the story in a number of different ways. I put my character in a basic position. I leave it up to you to give Glory a reason to want to Punch Kane in the face. :)

Glory hated riots. She didn't pay attention to the news for what started it, and she didn't really care. The mission briefing was basic. It told all operatives what their mission was, where they needed to be, and what needed to be done. She was to keep the peace and help the other heroes end the riot. The only problem was, it wasn't that easy...
Some of the other powered humans, nicknamed "sensitives", had gone on a rampage and was adding to the chaos. There were men running around shooting fire from their hands, psychics throwing buses around, and Earth benders creating massive earthquakes. Everyone was stretched to their limits trying to keep order. It forced the police to call Hydra corp. to send some super powered help to assist them.
Glory was currently flying through the air using one of her plasma powered jet streams that she created from her hands. She was shooting pulses of electromagnetic energy to propel her up into the air, or shoot her forward in the right direction. She had been scanning the streets from the sky for quite some time now, and she decided now would be the perfect time to stop and take a break. Unlike the other heroes her task was a lot easier than theirs and she had completed the objective of saving a nursery full of children in record time. This gave her a bit of leeway until her contact could give her a new mission objective.

She landed on the roof top of a small convenience store that had caught on fire. To her surprise the landing was a lot more graceful then past attempts. She looked across the street to see two thugs punching each other in the face and yelling at one another. She let off an annoyed sigh as she contemplated breaking them up. Just down the street from that, there were four more men robbing an electronics store. That made her raise an eyebrow.
She looked directly below her to see an older man stealing lottery tickets out of the burning building. That last one made her smile. She let off another sigh as she decided which delinquent she wanted to punch in the face first to bring about peace and justice. The brawling fools, the electronics idiots, or the lottery ticket dolt...

Fires on the streets. Broken glass on roads. Burnt out cars and shops looted like an animal carcass in the wild, a few small scavengers returning to them once the bigger animals had taken their fill and left with bloated emotions.

It was a riot he'd been prepared for. Powered humans misusing their gifts to create chaos. The police were doing all the could, Hydra Corp. had stepped in and sent aid. Kane felt it was all too little too late. A feeling his superiors shared. The army felt that a stronger show of force was needed to end the violence on the streets. The General had enough influence to make it happen, but the tense situation had made it an easy choice for the powers that be: send "it" in.

A stealth jet was used in the cover of the night, hidden just above the clouds. It was auto-piloted, and carried Kane as its cargo. He lay in a coffin-like box, hooked up to liquid cooling systems, Nano-nearal AI Learning interfaces, and state-of-the-art training simulations (he could easily run 15,000 simulated combat missions in VR simultaneously over the course of the trip.)

Once over the city, he was disconnected, and a small audio brief began:

"Kane. Clean up the mess. I don't need to tell you this is a black operation, if you somehow get caught, you're not affiliated with the military, this country or any of its territories. Understand?"

Kane kept his eyes closed, "Yes" he said in a calm manner.

"Then it's time to drop."

The floor opened up from under his back, revealing the howling wind. He was dropped like an A-bomb. He kept his eyes closed as he fell rapidly to the city.

Kane landed into the streets with a loud bang, the ground exploded on impact. As the dust settled, the image of Kane straightening up and looking out to the powered rioters came into focus. He would have told them to run if he had any heart.

Kane walked forward, making a clear patch of destruction. Some tried to hit him with weapons, he simply reversed, snapped a few arms and kept moving. A fireball came his way, he dodged, spun and kicked the thrower's face. Every five steps was another one down. A very clear warpath had been made. He was cleaning up the town, and he didn't care if that meant a complete extinction of every rioter and looter. Bodies littered the paths, the dead and unconscious bleeding and bruised.

The town had started a riot. Kane had brought a war.

Glory was just about to jump off the building to teach the punks a lesson when she heard a loud bang from down the street. Everyone stopped what they were doing to look in its direction. It was a man, walking down the street and beating the hell out of people as he made his way towards them. Glory squinted her eyes and jumped off the roof of the building with a forward flip, landing in a slight crouch from the impact. She startled the old man that was clutching no less then one hundred lottery tickets to his chest, a few fell and hit the ground as he jumped in surprise. "Do you see that man down there?" She asked as she stood up straight and pointed in the violent man's direction. The old lottery thief looked at Kane, then back to Glory and quickly nodded his head.
"Get outta here fast. And the next time I see you stealing something..." She raised her hand and let a large orb filled with static flicker wildly around it. The static would be a useless shock if it touched him, but the sound and appearance of the orb gave off the appropriate response as it sparked and sizzled.
"I'll deep fry your head and leave you lobotomized. Understand?"
The man's eyes went wide as he sprinted away. The brawlers and other electronic thieves also heard the crash and witnessed the strange man slowly moving their way, forcefully removing any objects that blocked his path. They didn't have to think twice to clear the area.

Glory watched as the destructive newcomer easily dispatched a fire wielding human, and broke countless body parts that belonged to his victims. It was quite clear what he was capable of.
Was he attempting to keep the peace, or create more chaos?
Glory began charging up more energy for later use. She kept the static ball in her left hand and slowly fed it more power. With her right hand she placed a finger to her ear where a small earpiece was located within her mask. "Is this guy with us?"
"Which guy... Wait... We see him. We have no idea who or what he is. There is no information about him in our database."

"Permission to detain him?"
"Granted. Try to keep the destruction to a minimum." The line disconnected.
Minimum? The city was facing a riot, and they were afraid that she would cause more damage. She rolled her eyes. She walked over to the tall and muscular man with short white hair and silver eyes. He had pale skin that was covered in battle scars. Clearly, he was not peaceful, but she had to try anyways. She yelled out to him-
"Halt! By law, the city is currently under lock-down. Come peacefully and no one will get hurt!"
She stood in a fighting stance, knees bent, left hand out in front of her at about eye level, and her right hand was down near her side, both hands open. She was pretty sure he was going to continue walking to break his way straight through her, but she would stand her ground anyway and be ready for any violent attacks aimed her way.

Kane paused. His eyes scanned the woman down the street asking him to "come peacefully." He smirked and raised his hands nonchalantly, keeping them just above his head.

"Looks like I attracted some attention from some Hydra Corp. lackey. That's fine."

He had walked to within just a few feet of her, trying to seem as passive as he could - as if he'd actually surrender that easily.

"You look like a nice girl. But obviously ain't too smart. You said 'no one will get hurt.' You and I both know that someone's gonna get hurt..." He paused for a second, then looked her dead in the eyes, "and come peacefully? Lady, peaceful just ain't in my nature."

Like a reflex action, Kane snapped into motion. His right hand extended forward, palm out, fingers spread like a hawk's claw. His motion made for a mauling attempt at the woman's head. As he did this, Kane pushed his right foot forward and turned it, to put the right side of his boot right at her toes. This was done in tandem with a rotation of Kane's upperbody. Both to create more momentum for his hand's swing and to better position himself for his foot's slide.

Glory huffed out a breath. They never came peacefully. She didn't know why she even bothered with the warning. The big man reacted, more or less, in the way that she had predicted. He swiped his hand in the air to take her head off, the motion was clean and his stance was firm. The action told her that he knew how to throw his body around for maximum damage. She studied him as fast as the human mind and eye could study within the short amount of time that she had to think. His stance told her a lot about his attack, it tipped her off. She would move fast and precise, but also keep her guard up.

Glory was small and short, something that she used to her advantage. It was a huge mistake for the man to claw at her head when she was already small and had taken a low defensive stance. As the large paw that was her attacker's hand would come down to take her head off, and his foot would step in close to her toes, she would bend down and take a ducking side step closer to his punching arm's side by moving her own left foot forward and bending her knee, stretching her right leg straight out behind her. While she moved into position, she rotated her left arm counter clockwise and tucked her hand in close to her ribs. Her small frame and agility added to the motion as his arm would neatly pass by over her head, blowing her hair from the swift motion of not only her own movements, but from the motion of his attack as well. At the exact moment that his swipe missed her, the left hand that she had already charged earlier with energy, shot straight out; palm still open for a blunt strike to his exposed side. With his arm swinging, and his right foot stepping towards her, it would only make the distance for her hand to travel to his side that much shorter.

The blow itself would mostly cause a normal person to stumble back a few feet to push them away from her. But Glory had infused her hand with static electricity, and if the open palm blow were to connect she would send a small pulse of energy through her hand and convert the static flickers into plasma, blowing a clean four inch hole through his side and out the other end; cauterizing any flesh that it touched. Glory didn't know that the man's body was robotic, but her electrical attack would be twofold. As the energy would strike it would also damage any electronic parts located within his body as it would cause it to have a circuit overload and burn out like a transformer being struck by lightning.

A machine could do a lot of thinking. A thousand thoughts at the same time? No problem. Reacting? Even easier.

The human brain needed a lot of things to see and react. Light to travel through the eye, the brain to flip, colour and interpret the image, electrical signals to the nerves, contractions of muscles... While it all happened too quickly to notice, it still took time. Kane, being a machine, didn't have this problem. He was already moving when the situation changed.

The woman had decided to move in closer, trying to escape Kane's right thrown hand. He'd wondered if she'd ever been in a real fight before, one with knuckles and muscles, none of that "superpower" mumbo jumbo. He figured he could ask her when she was defeated. Her movement was, at face value, at a foolish one. While it was clear she was avoiding Kane's attack, she was moving closer into his personal "killzone." Rather than follow through with his attack completely, Kane withdrew his hand as she began her dodge. His shoulders turned to the right, and he lowered his body. Turning himself as he went into a crouch, touching the ground with his right hand, Kane spun into a sweep with his left foot. It looked offensive, but it wasn't.

Kane had now delivered his opponent two options: continue with her attack and lose her ankles, or take the time to dodge.

OOC: Okay, I'm pretty sure I read this right. If he extended his right hand and took a step forward near her toes, and then stopped and rotated back to his right for a trip... Wouldn't that mean...?

Glory would take option number one, and lose her ankles. Although... they wouldn't be lost.
As the man took the time to readjust himself for his new attack, Glory would hold her ground and continue with her own attack as planned. Even if he could move super humanly fast, it would still be awkward to go from a right hook swipe that was moving to his left and aimed at her head, and then change and move back in the opposite direction for a left leg sweep moving to his right. It would have been a bit more wise to go ahead and complete the motion of the right hook and come around with a roundhouse kick; keeping all of his momentum and force.
Even for a machine, it would take him time to readjust his feet or else he would risk tripping over himself and stumbling.

Glory on the other hand continued her attack by moving her palm forward. No time was wasted in readjusting her body. Because the man had twisted his body to the right, he had actually made things worse by turning his stomach towards her face, directly in the path of her original attack. Instead of her palm hitting his side, it would now strike his solar plexus. And to make it even worse, he never moved back, so the distance for her strike to travel was about half a second at this point. The effects would be the same as before; blowing a four inch diameter hole through his body and coming out the other side. But it would now damage his lungs and heart in the process. It has been proven that a palm strike can be equally as deadly as a punch. A master martial artist can cause cardiac arrest with an attack like this to a normal human if enough force was placed into the attack. Glory however, was not a normal human. The electrical charge fused around Glory's hand would not only do massive damage by blowing a hole through his chest, but it would also blow the man clean off his feet, like a small car ramming into him at thirty miles an hour and knocking him back at least 3 meters. Her attack would stop his sweep before it could even start...

It was perfect.

It was like the universe threw everything into place. It was all moving and shaping into it. Like a game of chess, Kane's pawns were all moving ahead into their strange formations to expose the king. A formation of weaknesses being strengths, of pawns being walls, and kings being bait.

Her hand was coming for the center of his abdomen, right near where there could have been a celiac plexus. Kane's eyes had already seen the energy distortions she was creating, it was clear what they were going to do. A caster of some kind was no mystery to Kane. He'd killed magic men and powerful warriors in the past. She may have been a little more than human, but to Kane, she was at the same level of weakness. All things break and bend with the right application of force. It was time to demonstrate that threefold.

As her attack came inward to Kane's body, his arms snapped closer, hands reflex-style darting towards the woman's arms, exactly between wrist and elbow. He grabbed, applied all the pressure he felt was needed (38 pounds of pressure). As he grabbed he pushed downwards, forcing his back into the drag, which would only destroy or pop her arms. The aim was to slam them into the ground. If the pulling and squeezing didn't break the arms, that eventually would. Of course this was only to get her into the correct place for his real attack: a headbutt. Skull to skull. Reinforced metal against bone.

This was to be the true test of this woman, to see how much her body could take, how she could exert her strange power as it's visible source was moved from its flightpath and of course, if she could somehow withstand the blow to the head.

But like on a chessboard. Every move isn't a move. It's really a question. A prodding and examining. Every reaction spat out a hundred answers, no matter how subtle, it would speak volumes to Kane.

Apparently this guy fought out of rage and not with his head, nor his eyes for that matter. He now reached to grab her arm, which was the biggest mistake he could have made thus far. Did he not see the giant popping and sizzling static orb around her hand?
His loss...

As his hands were coming towards her, she simply twisted her wrist so that her palm was directed towards his arm instead of his body. The motion of her wrist flicking to the side would be pretty much impossible for him to stop because she had already prepped the palm strike and now all she was doing was changing the direction of her hand by rotating her wrist. She wasn't going to change her attack plans, she was still going to hold her ground. Her right leg that was stretched out slid next to her left leg. Her leg wasn't overextended because he had stepped closer to her with his initial attack, meaning she didn't have to stretch that far to get to his side. Now you may be wondering why she turned her wrist towards his arm. As he would reach to grasp her arm, she would wait until his hand was about five inches away from her wrist, and then prematurely release the stored energy that was meant for his chest and instead shoot it off at his reaching arm. The effect would pretty much be like a man grasping for the barrel of a shotgun, only for the shooter to pull the trigger. Kane's arm and hand would be blown to splinters from the electromagnetic plasma blast before he could grab Glory's wrist. The effect would be the same as before, a small car moving at thirty miles an hour slamming into his arm, creating a four inch diameter hole where ever it hit. Even if his arm was thick with muscles, a four inch circle all the way around would take his arm completely off. Her left hand would continue to move as if she had slapped his arm away from her.

She wasted no time to let him recover. If the attack were to hit, which it pretty much had no choice but to hit seeing how his arm would be point blank in front of her hand, she would continue with a follow up attack. She would take a small quick step forward with her left foot, ball her hand into a fist, and come up and out of her crouch with a right hand uppercut blow to his solar plexus. If his metal body was any good the blow would knock him back and away from her with a small dent in his chest. If his armor was any weaker than steel, then her hand would blow clean through his chest and come out the other side.

He couldn't believe it. It was almost too easy. Everything about the girl was reaction rather than action.

She'd made no effort to dodge his flurry of movements. His arm had shot in for a grab that would have probably taken her limbs off had it connected, but it was stronger if it didn't work. Rather than avoid Kane, the woman changed her attacks target, now no longer destined for his chest, it attacked his arm instead. Any experienced warrior would have seen Kane's tactic a mile off. He'd successfully fooled her into thinking she had the upper-hand by taking his arm. All she'd done was take a limb that Kane didn't need rather than put a hole in his body (not that he had any real organs to destroy.)

Three things were happening. Energy was tearing its way through Kane's left, forward-most arm. Power from the blast was about to ride up what parts of the arm it couldn't disassemble and push Kane's left shoulder backwards with enough force that would turn and lift his body a small way -- which would only be an aid to him at the this stage. And third: his head-butt wasn't acknowledged. It would hit with the the force of a bull's raging charge. Even if her skull didn't collapse upon impact, she'd have a concussion for weeks. Even if it didn't kill her, it'd weaken her.

As the energy tore through the nanowiring and A17PF E-Body Style-H Caucasian Male Skin, Kane's skull smashed against hers. As the metal connected, his right foot pushed off of the ground, lifting the heel first in a jump strong enough to carry him a foot or two up, along with this his left leg lifted. The force of her attack would be pushing itself through his arm and shoulder at this stage -- this, combined with the jump -- would cause Kane to spin and raise into the air quickly. This was a free retreat from the enemies' personal killzone. As his body left the area, flying the short distance, Kane could see the girl had prepared and moved into the beginnings of an uppercut which, by the end of the punch, would only reach to where Kane *was.*

His arm didn't appear utterly removed. It was a split mess of wires no wider than a hair and no stronger than a tank, glowing a light blue at their tips. The colour died off as Kane was mid-air, his mind subconsciously closing off power to the limb. Everything below the elbow was removed. Pieces of his arm lay strewn on the ground. Pieces he would later have to destroy, lest the government's enemies get a hold of snippets of Kane's technology.

Glory's eyes went wide as she saw his head coming closer to her own. With her left foot planted firmly on the ground, Glory would quickly lean her body to her right. The result would be that as she came out of the crouch, she would be doing a weaving right handed uppercut. The dodge at the last moment caused his head to clip her left shoulder instead of both of their heads colliding.
Sadly, her aim with her uppercut was sacrificed as she had done the last second dodge, and the result was that he was able to jump back and away. Her Kevlar and ceramic plated suit helped to absorb most of the blunt force placed into his headbutting blow, it could withstand a lot more then that seeing how it was designed in case she fell from a moving vehicle at high speeds. Her super enhanced strength took the shock from the rest of his attack. Her shoulder stung as his metal head made contact, and she almost dropped to her knee as a result, but kept her footing. The bone didn't break, she had been hit with metal baseball bats before and they only left a nasty bruise. It would heal in a couple of days. She let off a gasp of annoyance as she watched him land a few feet away from her. Instead of pursuing him, she took up her original fighting stance by raising her left hand back up to eye level, and placed her right hand down near her side as if she were going to bring it up for a punch. Just like before, she left her hands open. She slid her left foot out in front of her and slightly bent her knees, keep a low fighting stance in case she needed to dodge or block.

While keeping the stance, she slowly began to walk in a circle around him, heading east and then north. She wouldn't attack now, she would stall for a bit. Because her palm strike was wasted and she blew his arm off, she would need to gather more energy. Her body instantly began creating static as she recharged for another powered attack. She would wait for him to get close, and then strike.

Kane landed, hitting the ground with one foot. He kept his left foot in the air, knee raised.

He looked to his wrecked arm, turning it, examining the insides.

"Hey..." He said, "that arm cost a lot of taxpayer dollars to make." As he spoke, he rotated what remained of the arm. Moving it around in the air.

"This won't do." Kane said in slightly annoyance. He grabbed the remaining parts of his arm and pulled, tearing the rest of it off with ease. Now, there was nothing of the arm. Revealed was the socket the arm plugged into that made up Kane's "shoulder."

Now, Kane watched his opponent circle him. It reminded him of animals in the wild. Waiting for a weakness to exploit, trying to find someway to get past the other's defenses quickly. As she circled, he raised his knee further such that it was now pressed firmly against his chest.

Kane was certain the woman was preparing another of her energy attacks, so he wasn't going to attack. He decided that all he would do is stand right where he was in a defensive stance. He could prod and test her defense, but he wouldn't do another full-on assault just yet. He was going to let her fall into the palm of his hand.

To be certain she would at least stop circling him, Kane bent his arm, then threw the broken off arm at Glory. The item was aimed for her left leg, just below the knee. If it hit, it would be felt. But he didn't really want to hurt her with it. He would have thrown it much harder if he had.

Glory continued to store energy in her body. She had an idea that could now take him down. When she saw what was left of his arm, really saw, she now understood what she was fighting. Yeah she felt when his head hit her, but with the armor and everything on, it didn't feel like metal. Plus, he could have had a metal plate placed in his head. Now that they were both standing and staring at each other, she actually got a good look at him. Instead of blood, muscle and veins, it was wire and metal. He was a robot. Well, this gave her a lot of ideas for how to stop him, but she would stick with her plan she had come up with a few seconds ago. As he told her his arm was paid for by taxpayer's money, she just let off a scoff. "So was my suit. You can send me the bill later and I'll buy you a new one. Pink and glittering with a machine gun attachment." She would have smiled and winked at him if he could see passed her mask, but because he couldn't she just smiled to herself and kept circling him.

He now lifted his broken arm and flung it at her. She let off an annoyed grunt as she took a small hop to the side. His plan worked and she stopped circling him, but only for a little while. She took a few steps back so that she was now about 20 feet away from him, and then started circling him again. Hopefully the next thing he would throw would be a punch. The energy building in her body could now be visibly seen as it jumped, popped, and flickered about her body. Her suit helped to channel the electric energy around her, instead of through it. The small plates within the armor and her gloves were specially designed to help her channel the energy to certain points in her body, making it easier for her to focus her attacks into refined blasts. She would make sure her next attack was perfect.
As she paced, she wondered how patient he was as a person. His past actions told her that he wasn't. He seemed to be a bit more calm now that the first bout of punching and kicking was over... but how long would that hold up?

Because he was a robot he probably didn't have to breath or sleep, but she did. She would take the time to recuperate and to rest. Glory would continue to charge up energy for a bit longer, and then move into position to start round two.

Kane's face remained completely stoic. Eyes following Glory at all times. He was designed to last. His designers couldn't even say just how long he could live, all they knew was that Kane's life expectancy was hundreds of years above average. No food. No sleep. Just time.

Kane could stand there, perfectly still, for however long he wanted. This fight could last decades and he wouldn't feel exhaustion. If she was going to make him wait, then wait he would. He didn't even need to blink.

"Go on, kid. Take your time." Kane said, without even a hint of humour in his face, his usual smirk replaced by a calm expression, that kind you'd expect to only see on some kind of Buddhist monk.

"Unless you're just charging up another of those? I find myself wondering. How long do you need to charge up for one of those to tire you?"

He knew the questions were trivial, but it was like a poker bluff. You had to appear interested in one thing to make your opponent read your interest in another.

"My arm can be replaced. The army has at least a dozen others just waiting to be popped in. If I were to take yours, though..." Kane considered the idea. He'd love that kind of revenge. But his goal was to kill. Quick and clean.

The man continued to speak. Was he also stalling? Or was he just bored and making small conversation? It wouldn't hurt to respond, but she would leave her guard up. She continued to circle while she responded to him, charging energy all while she spoke.
"Take my time? I was planning on it. Thanks for being so kind."
Sarcasm was heavy in the last five words.
She could smell smoke and fire in the distance, someone was now burning something close by. She also heard a brick fly through glass as the rioters began to loot an abandon store. A part of her wanted to go stop them, but the other part was stubborn and wanted to finish this guy off. She would stay and finish what she started. As he now asked her how long it would take her to charge, she would let him know.

"Thirty seconds." She waited for him to process that, and then continued.
"That was how long it took when I called out my warning to you when we first started the fight. Thirty seconds worth of energy blew off your arm. How long have I been charging for now?
Take a guess what the effects will be if my next attack hits you. As for getting tired...
I won't tire out. Not from charging anyways."
She would leave it at that. Revealing her weakness would be foolish of her. Even if he was a robot, she wondered if he still feared death, and if bluffs and threats would have an effect on him. He wouldn't know if anything she just said were true, but it would make him think twice about her next move.

As he started talking about his arm again, she ignored it. She was done charging, she had enough energy for what she needed to do, but she would keep taking in more until the fight started. The way he was positioned his body reminded her of a Muay thai kick boxer. Her imagination filled in the gaps. His leg that was up near his chest shooting straight out to kick her and blow her off of her feet. If a kick was what he was going for, she wasn't going to let him. She continued to circle until she had moved around to his back. If he was going to get into a fighting position with his leg up near his chest, he would have to take the time to turn around to face her for a proper defense.

She began briskly walking towards him, not running, but a calm walk. She kept her fighting stance and guard up all the while, ready in case he went to strike her. She did however change her stance slightly, bringing her left hand and moving it up higher so that it was sticking out in front of her and above her head instead of at eye level. She flexed the fingers in her right hand as she prepped her next attack. "This is gonna hurt..."
She now walked to about eight feet behind him.

The woman thought she had the gift of a silver tongue, but that silver was double-edged.

Something she had said stuck in his mind. It was the way she said it, the offhandedness of the comment.
"I won't tire out. Not from charging anyways."
She was trying to bluff, a metaphorical puffing up of the chest. She was giving away her weakness in conversation.

It wouldn't be the charging that would weaken her, nor Kane's attacks. All he had to do was wait, and let her charge up her strongest attack. Then, she just had to use it. Kane didn't have to do anything -- She'd destroy her own defences.

Glory moved behind him, probably thinking Kane had some kind of plan of attack. Rather than change stance, he turned his head, keeping her on the edge of his sight. His arm came around to touch his back, palm facing Glory, fingers out flat prayer-style. Kane bent back a little, keeping a perfect balance. This new pace allowed for a steady re-assessment of stances.

Glory now walked within striking distance. She made sure to keep her fighting stance in case he tried to strike her. Before she struck she took the time to observe the way he was standing. His current stance was quite strange, she didn't see how he could put up a proper defense with the way his body was contorted, especially with his arm behind his back. It was obvious he was planning something, but she wasn't going to bother wreaking her brain trying to figure out what he was up to. She doubted he could break her defense. She was prepared for whatever he threw her way.

She kept her right foot back for balance and quickly brought her left foot forward in a front low shin kick so that her foot would strike his lower leg. If he didn't turn around to face her then her foot would hit the back of his calf which would force his knee to bend forward and he would fall to kneel down in front of her. If he did turn around and the strike still connected, then it would cause him to stumble forward. Either way, if her attack was a success she would put her next plan into action...

Kane could have laughed at the futile movements.

It seemed that emotion was her new prime motivator. Rather than turn, dodge, retaliate, or even smirk, Kane changed leg. His knee shot down, straightening his leg out. He lifted the leg she was going to attack, bringing that knee up to his chest as the other had been.

During this movement, Kane straightened himself out, and jumped forward a short distance out of Glory's leg's reach.

Kane stretched his arm out, made a fist, and then released it, relaxing his fingers and let his arm side idly at his side.

He didn't say a word. His mind was going through the scenario.
Was she testing him? It seemed she was trying to provoke a reaction. To make Kane attack, or at least turn. He wouldn't let such a blatant tactic work.

Glory's foot passed through the space where his leg should have been. The robotic garbage disposal had dodged her attack by moving his leg upwards and away from her. She quickly brought her foot back to take a step away from him in case he tried to attack her, but instead he chose to jump away and out of striking range. She let off a sigh of annoyance. The distance between them was now quite large for a hand to hand fist fight. She wasn't going to turn this into a long range battle though, she excelled in hand to hand combat so she would stick with what she knew. The energy she had gathered now jumped and flickered around her entire body from head to toe; popping and sizzling with power.
Her hair began to slowly rise and stand upwards as the energy made her hair frizz.
She ground her teeth as she concentrated to keep the static force in control.

The longer he stalled the fight, the more power she would continue to gather within her body. Whatever his plan was, he better hoped it worked. Otherwise he would be face to face with a devastating attack. At this rate she could probably charge up enough energy to blow the entire city block up.
She walked closer to him to get within attacking distance. This time instead of a leg sweep, she brought her right leg up and went for a roundhouse kick to his side. She put enough force into it to break ribs and dent metal, she twisted her hips to add more momentum and force to the blow.

Kane didn't want to be making attacks, especially not right now. However, Glory had presented a unique window of opportunity that Kane knew wouldn't present itself again - not in this fight.

As Glory moved into a roundhouse kick, Kane dropped to the ground. His arm punched to the ground for support and balance, he turned himself in time with Glory's movements meaning that as he turned, lifting his left leg, she would have just passed over, giving Kane ample ability to strike at her.

With her body turned by her attack, Glory had given Kane a vantage point on her lower body. No, he wasn't having a disgusting moment of perversion, he was looking, in a way, through her. Kane had a strong knowledge of anatomy... His kick was fired directly to the base of the pelvis and the Coccyx. This kick would destroy the bone, crushing it. And even though such an attack wouldn't kill Glory - the pain and force destroying her vertebrae would end any hopes of movement.

She wouldn't even be able to flee.
