Laen was born to a very VERY rich and influential pair of parents.As a child he was spoiled beyond belief.He was given everything he could hope for and more,this spoiling left him extremely obnoxious and Extroverted.He spoke about anything,anyone and he never backed down from the opposition that fought his loudmouthed ways.Of course his loudmouthed antics were resented by some,pretty soon he had isolated himself from the world through his own haughtiness and superiority when compared to everyone else.People still pretended to be his friends if only to get the money he had and the privileges of being in the mile high club with him.

As for his very VERY rich and influential parents,things had begun to take a downward spiral for them,their debts accumulating and rising and engulfing them.His father went into some shady dealings,but failed to pay them back.As a warning they killed the family dog,Lucky.When Mr.Vernig still wouldn't pay up the cops found him dead in his own bed along with his wife.This froze Laen's little world and then shattered it.All of the illusions of his posh,comfortable home and family fell into pieces around him,and he saw his friends for what they really were.They were all greedy parasites who escaped at the first sign of trouble.Alone,friendless,and hopeless,the once brash and outgoing child was formed into a husk of his old self.He became introverted,cold,hateful,and hurt.

Name: Joseph R. L. Fox

Apparent Age: 24

Gender: Male

Bio: To be announced within IC.

Personality: Smiling, kind and thoughtful, generally one to help and one to be quite open on subjects, he rarely spends time to reflect though as his sharp wit and mind often do much in the time it would take another to do an awful lot more, a genius in a way.

Apperance: Joseph is of moderate height, not one to be tall or one to be short, roughly 5'11. He is on a moderate build, athletic enough to be able to run, punch and kick the common place person out but would not be able to keep up with anyone whom is pushing their own physical prowess seriously. Otherwise there is nothing amazing about him, nothing that would strike interest or garner attention compared to the next person, he has a dull brown hair colouring and his eyes seem to be a faded green, as if the spark of life was snuffed out of them a while ago.

Joseph's attire is more, old fashioned. English born and bred, at times he looks like he belongs in the black and white movies of the late 1800's and early 1900's. But don't let that fool you, he can often be found in more recent clothing, but he can also be found sporting the outfits from the 70's and 80's.

Alchemical Style: Lifeblood Alchemy – Based upon his depth of knowledge within the field of Homonculi, Joseph excels in the creation of these beings and the changes that can inflict and reflect upon them with the usage of other fields. Whilst the creation of human life is forbidden, Joseph has been quite apt and capable of creating replacement body parts similar to prosthetics for use by those unfortunate enough to need them.

He also delves into Growth Alchemy, keeping several of the Gardens, Greenhouses and Botanical areas of the Academy flourishing, he aptly keeps a full stock of more medicinal things in supply to assist with the more unfortunate accidents that can occur in the fields of alchemy.

Name: Veronica DuValle (a.k.a. "The Cyborg Alchemist")

Gender: Female


Bio: Her origins are unknown, but memory tells her she was raised in a loving household. The names of both her father and mother escape her, but their faces are etched into the framework of her mind. As a child, Veronica was very intelligent for her age. By the age of 6 she had already begun to read novels with ease. Forever learning, she was often shunned from the outside world. Veronica could not attend school due to the fact that she often taught the teachers. This was beneficial, as it gave her ample time to read almost every book in the local library.

Success brought forth fame, as well as misfortune. On Veronica's 16th birthday, her only friend decided to take her out to eat. As the two were walking down the street towards their favorite cafe', a collision was heard nearby. By the time either of them could realize their situation, it was already too late.

Veronica awoke within what seemed to be a nurse's office. Her memory was lapsed, and a constant stream of scenes played out in her head as if someone were changing the channel of a television. She couldn't remember how she arrived, but they told her this was where she belonged. Despite the staff's reassurance, her gut told her otherwise. This "school" was not where she belonged.

Veronica refused to deny them. Instead she carried on as if everything they told her was true, but deep down in her mind the skepticism brewed thoughts of conspiracy. After a graduation ceremony was given to the graduating class, Veronica was called to the main office by the principal of Presbyterian. He offered her extensive knowledge beyond her wildest imagination if she were to volunteer for an experiment. Even in the face of skepticism, her yearning for knowledge far surpassed it. Without question she accepted, and that was the last known appearance of Veronica until recent years.

Rumors lurk amongst both the student and staff about the origins of her alchemy. Its uniqueness is one of a kind and former research is nonexistent. "Is she even human?" Out of pure fear no one dares bother to ask about it.

Personality: It is often assumed that Veronica may actually be a cyborg. "Emotionless" is what most people refer to her as due to the never-changing blank expression written across her face. She is very dedicated to her work and feels that her students should always put forth optimum effort to succeed. Despite her shell-like demeanor, deep inside Veronica has mild interests in both music and romance. There is rumor that certain types of music bring smiles upon her face.

Alchemical Style: Borg Alchemy - By literally combining living tissues and organs with metals and forcing them to carry out their tasks at an excelled rate, Veronica can become partially superhuman. Her abilities to run and jump are heightened, and her strength is beyond that of any man. Veronica has the ability to transmute any metal into any place on her body. Negative effects are the result if the transmutation is done incorrectly. Overexertion can lead to irreparable or fatal damage to the body.

Name: Archimedes Isaac Lunarus
Age: 32
Gender: Male

Bio: Archimedes is one of the most argued over teachers in the entire Presbyterian Boarding School. His curriculum fluctuates rapidly and unpredictably, asking students to perform some of the easiest tasks known to his class, and other times demanding them to do a feat that even some other teachers might struggle with... Though his teaching method hasn’t been put into question, yet, since his results with his students are, still, remarkably high.

Many people, students and teachers, agree that Archimedes seems to almost be two different people. Where, at one given period of time, he can be social and helpful, helping students when they are struggling and making sure everyone is doing well off, and at the next given length of time he becomes hard, unsocial and almost uncaring on the struggles his students are burdened with. These unpredictable shifts are understood by how he requests/demands, his students to address him: On certain days he asks them to call him Mr. Lunarus, and on the others he demands to be recognized only as Sir.

Much of Archimedes’s life before he came to teach at the school is unknown, though it is common knowledge that he developed his own form of Alchemical Style, and few are able to learn or understand its form or how it came about, though the Alchemical schools involved seem relatively understandable. Few students have actually attempted to copy his Alchemical Style and alter it for their own purpose, unfortunately all of those students ended up being transferred from the school. Archimedes also knows some State Alchemy, though it is not one of his focuses, so he could be a teacher at Presbyterian Boarding School.

Archimedes spends most of his time in his room or his class, rarely interacting with anyone outside. This social distancing isn’t based on which “state of mind” he is currently in, and seems to be his way of focusing in on whatever task he has in mind. Some of those who venture close enough to his class or room, when teaching hours over, claim to hear him talking to himself, or talking to someone else entirely.

At Presbyterian Boarding School, Archimedes seems to have mixed agendas. The first of which, is teaching his students in his Alchemical School. There have been rumours that Archimedes is working on some “Special” project, but whether this information is even valid or not is unknown...

Archimedes took up teaching both Chrono Alchemy and Homonculus Alchemy when he arrived. He almost requested Kinetic Alchemy but something changed his mind in the end. Some of his students claim that he has some strange ability to control the Homonculus that he creates. Others have tried to attempt this, but they don’t know which school to use and their end result usually fails.

Appearance: Archimedes is fairly tall, standing at only 6’ 2”. His build is questionable: At first glance he appears to be only 200 pounds, which seems slightly underweight for his age and size, but he is much more built than he might appear. He admits to having an old fascination in Water Polo and swimming, his stature seems balanced. His shoulders fairly wide apart and his arms are considerably long (His arm span is 3 inches longer than his height). His legs are also long, giving him his lanky appearance, and are well built from all of his conditioning from his sports.

His facial features are strangely unique: His hair color, which is a very silvery-white, seems to be misplaced on someone of his age, considering his eyebrows are a mixture of metallic gray and a very deep and metallic cobalt blue. His eyes are silver with white pupils. He has no facial hair of any kind. He does have an, almost, unnoticeable, silvery-white scar down the left side of his cheek, stopping just above the lower jaw and just below his left temple.

He is said to have a limp in his right leg and he is seen walking with a golden walking stick with a silvery design laid into it and a small diamond in the handle.

Archimedes usually wears a nice, button down, shirt. Light blue. He also wears a white tie, and he also wears a silver jacket over his shirt. His pants are usually semi-formal and are, like his shoes and tie, white.

Age: 16
Gender: Female
Bio: Serena wasn't the most social of children, she always seemed to be in a state of a dark mood. Her parents worried about her, taking her to psychologists and specialists. Yet nothing ever seemed to work for her. She had friends, most of them would say that even though her mood was dark, Serena had a hidden talent for calming people down. She was always there for people to turn to, yet her parents always the worriers deciding that her old school wasn't helping her problem. So they sent her to Presbyterian Boarding School.

Little did they know about what was being taught inside the school. Serena wasn't one to take the use of alchemy very seriously, however she was never very serious about anything anyways.

Personality: Dark and sometimes moody, never serious and hardly smiles. She is a good listener though, and many times finds herself there to give advice when obviously she doesn't care about the problem.

Alchemical Style: Poisonous Force Style- Always a lover of snakes, she took up the opportunity to learn how to use their Venom, and into that she decided to add state and kinetic energy so she had the ability to turn venom into a different state and move it from one place to another.
