"i know i said i bited too much but it honestly isnt for the blood." he laughed. looking at the drawing. he leaned over her a bit more and whispered "its for the screaming." before laughing lightly and moving back. then coughing and saying "yeah... it's really good by the way. im honoured."

Lauren sat across the cafeteria from them, glaring at any girl Laurence talked to. she especially disliked that new girl - everyone was leaning over her, but he was practically leanng ON her. talking into her ear and laughing.
yeah fine - she'd just met him, but he was really cute. really really really cute.
and that girl shouldn't stand a chance against her.

Angel laughed at Laurence,"Yeah but if you were in a comic book you'd be the vampire." She grinned and looked up as Haylee spoke,"No what's missing here?" She asked curiously.
She saw a girl across the cafeteria glaring at her, ther one that had been eyeing Laurence up all day, Lauren. That's what she thought her name was anyway, she hadn't been paying much attention at the time. She figured that it was probably reasonable, this Lauren girl thought Laur was cute, she'd made that obviouse enough, but here he was leaning over her, a girl most people wouldn't look twice at,except to have a sort of what the hell expression and gawp at her, admittedly, slightly odd apparence.

Laurence laughs examining the drawing in awe, he see's Angels attention else where and follows her gaze, only paying the tiniest bit of attention until he saw Lauren.
"that girl is scaring me." he moans, hiding in Angels hair.

Angel laughed as Laur hid behind her hair. "You know if anything that makes you a bit more conspicuous? Plus curls don't tend to hide people well," She commented turning her head ever so slightly so she could see the top of his head poking out of her dark hair. “Though I will admit she is a bit forward and in no way attempting to hide how much she’s checking you out,” She shrugged slightly making sure she didn’t hit Laurs head, “Can I have my hair back now please?”

"Some drama." Haylee bounced up. "We should start an impromptu musical!" She twirled around on her toes, laughing and falling back into her seat. "At least it would freak out the Queen Bee, you know?"
Raven giggled, remembering the Barbie's reaction to their theatrical antics the last time they had tried that, teaming up with the film club and making a movie of it, to submit as a group project.
Marque stifled a laugh. "Yeah, that was fun. Remember that song we made up?"

"has she stopped glaring at you and or eyeing me up yet?" he asks. depending on her reply she could have her hair back. he pouts.

Angel looked over at Lauren,"No and no. However you'll have to come out of hiding sometime. You can't walk round buried in my hair forever." She watched as Haylee spun round giving a small laugh."So what do you do in an impromptu musical??" She asked, she'd never been a big theater girl, she'd just painted the sets, and didn't know all the terms and such.

"but... but... i really dont want to. one she's scary and two, you must use a yummy smelling shampoo cause your hair smells good..." he'd been half listening to Haylee but didn't want to add his own input, the most drama based thing he'd done or been in was burning a CD for Emilys drama production last year, a production she didn't want him to go to anyway.

Angel laughed, a sort of 'what the hell' look on her face,"I know she's scary Laur but you can't walk round with your face in my hair for the rest of high school, a) because my dad would not be happy about it and b) because everyone one would think you were mad and you'd get put in a mental institution. And on the subject of my hair yes I do use a nice smelling shampoo,it's the blue herbal essences stuff but that does not give you and excuse to stay like that. Plus it tickles."

"you're ticklish?" he asked, being distracted from the rest of the conversation, he wasn't ticklish excpet for his neck - he loved it when people were really ticklish... laughing, he emmerged from her hair and started tickling her.

Haylee laughed. "That would be a perfect scene for an impromptu musical, right there. It's basically what happens every day, but everyone bursts into song at the drop of a hat." She shrugged. "Most of the time there's a spur of the moment choreographed dance number or two or five, and that's always amusing." She turned to Marque, grinning mischievously and splaying herself across the bench. "What do you say, dahling?" she drawled, turning her face slightly.

Lauren glares over at them as she imagines her friends snigegring at her. she takes a bite of her pear quickly, chomping down on it in distaste.
"Lauren..." someone says.
"what?!"
"well... David is staring at you?"
"and?!"
"and you did.. y'know... get with him friday night..."
she rolls her eyes, okay yeah David was cute, but - mission accomplished - she'd had him now, once she'd conquered them she lost interest.
Laurence seemed like he'd try and be a challenge, but she'd have him.

"so what? are oyu gonna count to three and we're all gonna jump up and sing some random song in sync?" he asks. "that'd be pretty awesome actually." he laughs then. trying to imagine it.

Angel sat up, after falling on her back on the bench when Laur had tickled her. She laughed at the idea. "Do we all have to sing though?" She asked, she didn't like her singing voice. It was okay when she was messing around and it didn't matter what she sounded like but the rest of the time she hated it, despite her dad telling her she was good.

"If you don't, you have to dance." Marque shuddered theatrically. "Last time we did this, Haylee had a sore throat, so we ended up doing a tango."
"Oh, you're just as bad as I am." Haylee stuck her tongue out and hit her friend's arm. Marque winced. Apparently he was used to this, but it still looked painful.
"It's true. We're terrible dancers." Marque admitted once he seemed to have recovered. "Melanie's the talent in that particular area."
From the other side of the table, the pink haired girl beamed at the compliment.

"i've never even attempted to dance in my life." Laurence says with a grimace, nor was he planning on. he could sing well, but never sung in anywhere but the shower, or when he was extrememly content and alone. he didn't like people listening to him, and had a lot of respect for people who sang proffesionally- if they were good.

"Ah, well." shrugged Haylee, winking in Laurence's general direction. "We'll find something for you, eventually."
By now, lunch was finishing up, the chiming bell about to ring again. Kelsey, who had been quiet for a while, spoke up.
"We should get going." she said apologetically, swallowing the last bite of her lo mein. "I'll see you after school." Smiling, close-lipped at the others around the table, she strode away from their table, leaving Haylee in her wake looking vaguely disgruntled.
"Are you two okay?" Melanie asked quietly. Haylee didn't answer for a second. "I dunno. I guess I'll see after school."

Laurence saw Haylees expression and followed, curious.
walking to steps ahead of her, backwards so he could look at her, he said;
"i know its none of my buissness, you can tell me to eff off if you like... but, you okay?"

"I dunno. She seems so...distant," replied Haylee, leaning against a tree with her eyes roving across the courtyard, searching for something she knew she wouldn't find.
Lately, she and Kelsey had been drifting slowly apart.. And sure, she loved her, but...something was off, not the least being her girlfriend's jealousy issues.
