Aiden sat down. "Thanks Kyree." he said giving her a hug. "No problem. I'll be in my dorm if you need anything." she said before walking off. Aiden sighed and stared at the door waiting for Louise to come back.

Louise got back to her dorm and immediately went to change her attire. The old clothes went into the hamper as she picked out some loose pants and a t-shirt. She then went to scrub off her make up and tied her hair into a bun in the back. Pondering of ways to let Aiden know how she was feeling, she started unpacking the bag she had had with her at the hospital and found a pair of his socks, not quite sure how they had gotten there. Louise tried to relax and decided to grab the bull by its horns, going over to Aiden's door and knocking on it.

"Come in." Aiden said and looked up when he heard the knock. He knew it was probably Louise since Kyree would've just walked in. He scooted back on the bed and waited for her to come in.

"Hi..." Louise managed as she came through the door and closed it behind her. She sat down onto the bed next to Aiden, having a hard time choosing what was too far and what was too close. The socks were still in her hands, to give her something to talk about.
"Yeah, your socks somehow ended up in mine, I don't really know how..." she explained, gently opening one of his hands and placing the pair onto it. Louise then put her fingers back onto her own lap, tossing them there for a while before standing up.

"Well I guess I'll go then. That was the reason I came in", she told him and turned to go at the door again, scratching the back of her neck.

"Thanks...I guess we're not going to Vegas." Aiden said tossing his socks on the other bed. Louise was acting different so he just figured they weren't going to Vegas or even dating anymore. He stood up and walked over to his desk and sat down in the chair so he could look at her.

Louise bit her lip, the statement having far more impact on her than she thought Aiden could probably imagine. Still, she felt the need to give him an explanation, though and slowly faced him despite the uncertain look on her face.
"The past three weeks... I've travelled and come to see every single day. I've tried to keep everything up, balancing with school and such at the same time... And what I find is, that you still cling onto Kyree to be there for you. Her not me. We haven't had the chance to have any physical relationship at all during the time you spent at the hospital and it seems to me that if I try to put my arm around you or.. Hug you, anything, you brush it off, but at the same time Kyree gets to do all of that. And I am simply wondering, what is the thing that makes me a girlfriend instead of a friend? It truly seems like you could go on calling her with that title as well", Louise rambled on and on, feeling like she needed to get this stuff off of her chest before it was to smother her.

"And you know I'm not just talking about that s-word. It's all the small things", she sighed, holding back the tears as she was not able to look at Aiden anymore.

"That is bullshit and you know that." Aiden said gripping the desk. "I have hugged you and I've done everything that a boyfriend is supposed to do. But whenever you talk to me you come off with an attitude. Like today. In the car when you asked me what was wrong and I told you nothing was wrong I was just thinking about how much I love you but you didn't believe me which is why I snapped at you. And Kyree's my best friend and nothing more. And she cares about me which is why she went to talk to you after we got done eating because she knows how mad I get and she doesn't want me to get hurt again." he said looking at her.

"But if you want to keep believing that I care more about Kyree then you then go right ahead. And if that's how you feel then we mine as well not date." Aiden said and got up and limped over to his bed sitting back down with his back to her.

Aiden's words were like a slap in the face, leaving Louise dumbfounded for a moment as she looked at the floor to give her the right way to answer. The fact that he could be in some way now considered as a cripple, only made her feel worse since she knew she was the one that had caused all of this.

"My point is, that you don't let me take care of you seeing as Kyree is always there! She's a nice girl, I truly have nothing against her, but her constant presence is not actually helping me to get any closer to you. The way I see it, we've been together for 23 days, 21 of which were under very unusual circumstances. I was stressed, everything built up and today I got hit with the worst PMS of my life as I watched on the side how you two interacted each other. And don't try to play this out like you're the one that's getting hurt, at least the last time I checked there were two people attending this relationship", Louise's voice stayed low as she swallowed every now and then, tracing her eyes on the back of Aiden's body. The tears were finally shed freely as she thought of her growing love for him and now just as she was about to grasp him, make him hers, he was taken away.

"But yeah, you're right, maybe we shouldn't.." Louise nodded in agreement as she wiped her eyes to the palms of her hands.

Aiden ran a hand through his hair as he got up and walked, limped to the door. He stopped and looked at her for a moment. "If I had a car still I would leave in it." he said before going over to the closet and pulling out his duffle bag. He began putting some clothes in it and then some other things. He zipped it up and looked at her. "I'm going to ask you once more Louise. Do you want to go to Vegas with me? I'm going to take Kyree's car. She gave me the spare key." he said and then stood there and waited for her answer.

"Since Kyree's such a problem I'm going to leave so she won't be and you're still welcomed to come along as a girlfriend or a friend." he said.

Louise's eyes became wide as she saw Aiden packing his stuff, not sure at all how to react as she had just been able to pour her heart out to him. Soon enough, she got her answer, and was at a loss of words when she was expected to reply. Her lip quivered as she made up her mind, but she wasn't sure if staying behind would be the biggest mistake of her life. Louise closed her eyes, the image of them living together consuming her mind and spread her lips just a tad: "Yes."

She went through the door and looked at him with all of his things: "Let me grab my stuff as well." Louise went down the hall into her room and began throwing random things at her suitcase; a good thing she still hadn't completely unpacked from the time she had arrive. Inside of her head, it felt like an emotional rollercoaster, and this was one of the curves that made your stomach tweak a bit. After gathering most of the stuff she owned, Louise went back into the hallway and hauled the bag through the door before closing it one final time: "Ready to roll."

Aiden smiled and limped over and then pulled her into his arms and kissed her passionally. "I really do love you baby. And I'm sorry if I've been acting like a horrible boyfriend and I promise to make it up to you." he said hugging her even though it hurt his bruises and stuff he continued to hug her.

Louise beamed for the first time in a while, tenderly putting her arms around him as they exchanged the heated kiss.
"Don't force it honey. Just be who you really are, that's what matters. I know things are going to take a turn to the right direction from here", she told him as she put her forehead against his: "And I love you too. So so much."

She let go, knowing the condition he had been and placed his arm along her shoulder to help them get to the car. Concerned about his limping, Louise furrowed her eyebrows: "Do you think it's safe enough to put you behind the wheel already? I can at least drive until I fall asleep."

"I'm fine. I just need to sit down." Aiden said as they walked out into the hall. He smiled down at her as they walked outside. He tossed his bag in the back seat and then put her suitcase in there and closed the door. He walked her to the other side and opened the door for her letting her in and closing it before going to his side and getting in.

Louise stared at Aiden for a while, seeing some of the nice sides he held to him and could not fight the urge to kiss his cheek before he turned the keys in the ignition.

"Oh yeah, how many hours was it going to take us to Vegas again?" she questioned as she kicked her shoes off and opened the glove compartment in front of her in search of good albums. Finding some MCR, she put the disc into the player, Louise thought it was the best way to start the trip because of the theme of their wedding. The volume was kept low so that she would hear Aiden's answer though.

"I don't know. Few hours." Aiden said and smiled when she put MCR in. He turned the volume up a little and began driving. When he stopped at a stop light he texted Kyree letting her know he took her car. She texted him back saying "Okay have fun." and he smiled to himself and continued driving while singing along quietly to Helena.

Louise nodded, lifting her feet onto the seat with her and sighed. Trying to get comfortable, she shifted around, finally ending up so that her back was actually against the door. The car vibrated nicely against her skin, almost like giving her a gentle massage, but made her almost ignore the phone that was vibrating in her pocket. She looked at the screen, wondering why in the world would Kate call her. Her hand went to turn down the volume in order to hear.

"Hi", she answered abruptly. Louise combed her hair back with her hand as she recognised the voice that was clearly drunk.
"Come and see me. I miss you", Kate informed, obviously hanging out with a few more of their friends since there was noise in the background.
"No, I'm in a car with my boyfriend right now. No", Louise responded, thinking this was a good way to get her ex-girlfriend off of her back.
"Oh that Aiden guy? I told you he wouldn't do you any good", came a drunken laugh through the phone.
"Well looks like most of the statements you've made in the past haven't been true. This one included", Louise said back, being overly sweet.
"Yeah. I only called you cause I'm horny", Kate recovered and hung up on her. Louise shook her head, not knowing what else to do than to laugh as she put her phone back into her pocket.

"Who was that?" Aiden asked when he heard her talking to someone. All he could hear from the phone was noise and a laugh which sounded like a girls. Maybe it was her mom. He stopped at a gas station. "You hungry or anything?" he asked as he still waited for her answer about who called.

Louise stirred from her light daze, thinking finally she had something against Kate the next time she'd hear rumours about herself. She nodded at his question about the food smiled that delightful smile: "It was an old friend of mine. Wanted to say he was sorry since he was a bit a of a jerk last year. And from the tone of his voice, I really didn't think he was telling me the truth. Not that I mind." Shocked at herself for letting out such a lie so easily, Louise stopped for a section of a second, but not staying in place long enough for Aiden to notice.

She put on her worn out shoes and placed a quick kiss onto Aiden's lips before going outside, enjoying the light breeze.
"Oh and I need to use the bathroom as well", Louise added as she went back to the bag again and then waited him, ready to see what this gas station had to offer.

"Oh." Mason said frowning. He got out. "I'll get us some food after I fill the tank up." he said quietly as he walked over to the gas and took the plate off and then put the nozzle in. He watched Louise a moment before looking at the gas meter.

Louise came over to him one last time before leaving, wrapping her arms around the middle of his torso and pecked the curve of his neck a few times. Breathing inwards, a smile crossed her lips as she kept in mind the scent of Aiden.
"I'll see you in a bit", she promised, waving her hand slightly as she went through the automatic doors.

It didn't take much time to search for the nearest bathroom and that is why Louise finished quite soon. She promised herself no more white lies, knowing they would some day catch up on her and she and Aiden would only end up to the same sort of a fight that they had experienced earlier. Louise dried her hands under the blower before going back to look for Aiden.
