Kyree giggled. "What'd I tell you about doing that?" she said laughing and then blushed. "It's not punky..and I don't believe in labels so ha." she added laughing as they walked to her house. She saw her foster mom's car in the driveway and sighed. "My foster mom..is such a hater." she said looking at him as they walked up the driveway. "Alright word of warning..my brother will probably ask you thousands of questions but just ignore him he doesn't know better." she said opening the door and the smell of garlic bread hit her. "I'm home." she called.

((I gotta go run my dogs, be back in a bit, then I'll post one more time before I go to bed))

Kurse smiled. "I still know how to make you blush," He smiled at her. "I can't remember," He smiled at her. "At least your dad doesn't beat you with a beer bottle," He smiled lopsidedly. He linked his arm around her. "Don't worry, we'll face them, arm in arm," He smiled and laughed, pulling his arm out. "Just kidding," Kurse smelled the garlic bread. "Mmm," He wiped a small drop of drool from his lips and his stomach growled. "Living on the streets builds an appreciation for the simple foods in life,"

Kyree laughed as her mom came into the living room wiping her hands on a dish towel. "Hi sweetie..oh who's your friend?" her mom asked smiling. "Just a friend..we'll be in my room." she said grabbing Kurse's arm and dragging him upstairs before her mom could say anything else. As she got closer she heard her radio on. "What the hell.." she said to herself as she opened her door. Her brother and his friend were chilling in her room. "What're you guys doing in my room?" she said turning her radio off. "Nothing..just having a smoke." her brother said. "Out. Go." she said pointing to the door. Her brother looked at Kurse. "Whose your friend?" he asked. "None of your goddamn business now get out of my room before I tell mom. Again." she said getting mad. Her brother rolled his eyes and him and his friend left. She shut her door and looked at Kurse. "Remember when you said we'd get a cat once we got out?" she asked and then picked up her kitty and turned. "Here's our cat." she said smiling as her kitty squirmed in her arms and meowed.

Kurse was about to say "Hey," when Kyree pulled him upstairs. He looked at her younger brother and friend as she told them to get out, he towered over him. Not towered, but still. When she asked him the question, he furrowed his brow. "No...yes, I do," He smiled. He took the cat and smiled. "Andy," He said quietly to himself. He sat down on her bed, with the cat purring against his stomach. "He, or she, is cute," Kurse smiled at Kyree. "Not near as much as you," He said to himself, hoping that she mistook that he was murmuring to the cat. He looked up and smiled, a tear in his eye. He blinked it away quickly. "You remembered," He smiled at her.

"Of course. I wasn't going to forget..and it's boy. I haven't named it yet. But you just did." Kyree smiled and sat down next to him. "Awe..you're crying..why are you crying?" she asked turning his face towards her. She smiled at him.

Kurse smiled. "I'm not crying, I'm just happy," He smiled and shook a little. Another tear formed in his eye, but he didn't bother to blink it away. He smiled again. "It's just that, for six months, I've been through hell, I've fought everyday, I've starved for days at a time, and then I meet you, and everything starts to fall in place," He smiled. "It's overwelming when you think that the world has quit on you, that you've got no where else to go, and then someone you haven't seen forever finds you on the street suddenly and they drag you home," Kurse let go of Andy. "Well, not drag, but you know what I mean," He smiled at Kyree. Another tear formed in his eye. "As long as you don't think I'm a pussy," He smiled at her.

Kyree smiled. "Of course I do. And you're staying here now. There's a guest room right across from my room." she said. "Which is why I brought you home..but I should've dragged you for tickling me like that." she said poking him in the stomach. She hugged him and rested her head on his shoulder and just sat there. Andy curled up on his pillow looking up at them before yawning and then closing his eyes as he layed his head on his paws. Kyree smiled and then kissed Kurse's cheek and laid her head back on his shoudler with her arms still around him.

Kurse smiled and held one arm around her waist. "I see you've missed me," He smiled at her. "I guess, if you insist," He gave her a one armed hug. He leaned over backwards when he made sure Andy wasn't behind them. He smiled and kissed her cheek lightly.

"Not really..I could've survived without you.." Kyree said laughing and then smiled. "I'm kidding silly...I'm surprised you remembered me though.." she said looking down at the ground. She brought her legs up and sat cross legged.

"I could never forget you," Kurse smiled. He brought his legs up and fell over Kyree's legs, resting his head on the leg farthest away. "I hope I'm not crushing you," He smiled.

Kyree looked down and smiled. "No you're fine." she said smiling and leaned down kissing his cheek as she brushed some hair out of his face.

"Good, because this is comfortable," Kurse smiled. He stretched an arm behind his head and held onto her hand. He smiled as dazzling as he could, but felt some scars stretch uncomfortably so he stopped.

Kyree smiled. "I hope you like spaghetti and garlic bread. That's what Helen...um my mom..is making." she said looking down not at him but at the floor.

"I don't know, but I'll taste it soon," Kurse smiled, then he looked at Kyree, he sat up. "Hey, are you okay," He asked, a little concerned. He put a hand on her cheek and pulled her face gently towards his. He smiled at her.

"Yeah..I'm fine..just the whole foster family..they're so..different from me..I feel like I don't fit in." Kyree said looking at the ground before looking up at Kurse not smiling. She was kind of sad.

Kurse kissed her cheek. He smiled and pulled her close. "Ah, don't worry, you still have me," He smiled at her and leaned his shoulder on her's. "You wanna hear me sing?" He laughed, half-joking. "I've gotten better," He smiled, trying to put a smile on her face.

Kyree leaned into him and smiled. "Really? You have?" she asked with curiousity in her voice. "I didn't know you been practicing." she said smiling.

Kurse smiled. "Yeah, I've been practicing a little, but I'm no Joe Anderson," He smiled at her and hugged her close. "Now I don't wanna sing," He smiled at her, a little embarrassed. "But, I will," He sang "Something" for a bit before he stopped and buried his head in his ragged shirt.
