Shehrasin, torn between two instincts, snorted and pawed the ground. Unless this man showed signs of harming Akishra, she would not attack; but this man had caused Akishra to get angry, and so she would not trust him. But her mistress needed safety, and this man was the only human nearby who could provide it. The horse's brain could not think of a solution to the terrible problem she had encountered, and so she became unnerved.

He walked over to the creature cautiously, "Chill." he spoke to it as if that would solve all the problems that had just arisen. "I'll take the girl." he spoke once more without moving his arms and his body forward or around any more, he didn't want to freighten the creature too terribly but since it needed help he figured he might as well assist it since he was already there. "We don't have much time, let's go!" he rose his voice just a bit. It was clear there was fire engulfing the area and he was really in no mood for getting burnt again. The strong smell of smoke was now beginning to bother him because it would seem it wasn't ordinary smoke, making that explosion...on purpose and if this animal was in a dazed and confused state then lord knows it wasn't her.
These tears are not crying.

(OOC: Sorry, I've reread that last sentence three times and I can't understand it at all...And why did he yell at the horse?)

[OOC] Because he doesn't want the horse to just stand there not trusting him and such. He's not really yelling at the horse as much as he's just yelling to let him and any one else paying attention that it was time to go.

(OOC: Ahh, okay. Just so you know, that often startles horses more than that helps)

Shehrasin, startled by the sudden yell, walked back a few paces. She had been going to follow the man, but his harsh words were something to fear for her; she was only used to gentle sounds. Snorting, pawing the ground, and tossing her head, she wondered what to do.

The flames licked at the sky more and destroyed every thing in their path as they encircled the beings, Seymour watched the horse for a while. "Don't you want to save her?" he took a step forward, then two, and attempted to grab the hair of the animal to get a hold and jump on but would it let him? He sure hoped, he wasn't one to stay back for anybody so this animal had better get it's instincts right. The general laughed in his head. "What do you think you're doing? You have better lives to take than a puny horse and broad." clearly the general did not understand the situation because Seymour was not near here when the flames were born.
