the last song was longer and more beautiful then all the rest combined. The first act was similar to the Duet that she had been playing at first, only more lively and excited. her second was played entirely in taps and sounded like a musical waterfall. the third was the shortest of all, and was a nearly inhuman flurry of notes. the final section was a calm immediately after the storm, slowly trickling into silence"Thank you for listening!"the black-dressed girl smiled, extending a slightly bloody hand to the little girl

Rosaki jumped to her feet again and shook the girls hand vigorously, beaming as she reflected on what she'd heard. 'That was great!' she exclaimed.

[OOC: this is going to be my last post of the day and most likely the week. its 1:31 here but back home its 4:31, and I have a long two weeks ahead of me.]

[OOC: I managed to hop on this morning before we left for the Reagan Library today, since I had to charge my Ipod. apparantly we live in the same timezone. I'm gonna try to be on as much as I can, but since this is my last day of this trip we'll be doing a lot.]
Jane's smile grew larger and her grip on the expensive instrument -- for there were few other cutaway guitars in that area -- losened"thanks for listening, miss Rosaki. would you like to try?"
[OOC: well... thats ONE good development: my posts arn't short stories anymore... that got a little annoying after a while.]

Rosaki perked up. 'Really? Oh, but I can't play music.' She giggled.

she smiled and handed the guitar to the little girl, then wiped the blood off the strings"Its simple. the higher you get on this..."she pointed at the neck of the guitar"the lower the note gets. the closer to the bottom they are, the higher it is! you don't even need to know how to play a song to make music!"she smiled and showed her how to strum with a pick, since the little one's fingernails were far to short to substitute.

Rosaki smiled, and immedietly began doing what Jane taught her. Despite all she did, sounds came out of the guitar that no body would have guessed a guitar could make, and nothing about the garbled conjunction of notes was especially musical. Rosaki kept a smile on her face, however, delighted with what she could do. 'This is fun!' she said, finally stopping her cocophony with an odd twang on the strings.

Jane smiled"it sounded great!"and it was true. she had heard things that sounded not only strange but hideous out of guitars before. she took it back when she finished and reset the tuning."I like playing with you! I haven't had so much fun in my life!"
