Mason looked up at Kyree and nodded towards the door. Kyree walked outside and went to Sophia's car getting her stuff. She came back inside and closed the front door and sat Sophia's bags on the floor. "You want me to leave?" she asked Mason. "No you can stay." he said as he wiped the blood off of Sophia's mouth and nose.
Take the knife and twist it.
Where's my heart? You missed it.

Breathing is a luxury that I just shouldn't have.

Sophia opened her eyes a few minutes later. "He does that to me....But only me...Not anyone else who's late," she whispered, looking at Mason. "No one knows...Except you two."

"It's not going to happen anymore." Mason said still cleaning the blood off. Someone knocked on Mason's front door. "Get that." he said ordering Kyree around. "Bossy.." she mumbled but got up anyways. It was Aiden. "Hey your mom told me you were over here." he said and then saw Sophia. "What happened?" he asked. "Don't worry about it." Kyree said but let him in anyways.

Mason looked over at Kyree and Aiden as he held Sophia to keep her from falling off the couch. He rubbed her back while holding her.

"He's such an asshole!" she screamed. "An asshole! Get me a phone, I'm turning him in." She gestured to Kyree or Aiden, and waited. "Hurry up before he gets his stupid ass act together and runs!" Her fists were clenched, her eyes burning with fury.

Kyree handed her Mason's phone while Mason had his arms around her so she wouldn't hurt herself by moving around so much.

Sophia dialed 911 quickly, and told them her adress and phone number. "Yes, yes, his name is Patterson Gains. He beat me up when I was home late, I was at a freind's house. I don't want the rest of the family to be in danger," she said. "Thank you. No, I've cleaned myself well. Thank you." She hung up, and handed the phone back to Mason.

"You okay Sophia?" Kyree asked her friend as Mason handed her his phone again. Aiden sat down beside Kyree and looked at Sophia and Mason. Mason rubbed her back and let go of her sitting her beside him. "Anyone hungry?" he asked getting up.

"I do not." Mason laughed. Kyree followed him. "Well I'm hungry." she said smiling. Mason grinned at her. "I know." he said patting the top of her head. She grinned and kissed him on the cheek then went to the fridge.
Aiden sat next to Sophia. "So are you going to stay with Mason now?"

Aiden laughed. "Comment ignored." he said smiling. "You guys going to bring us something to eat?" he shouted towards the kitchen. "Hold your horses!" Mason shouted back and Kyree giggled. Aiden rolled his eyes and looked over at Sophia.

Sophia grabbed his phone. Seeing it was the jail, she answered it. "Hello?" she asked.
"Yes- Sophia? Court has been schedualed for two weeks from now, eight AM," an officer said.
"I will definately be there," Sophia said, and hung up.
