"They don't spy on me while I'm naked, duh!" she said. "Otherwise, that would be fuckin messed up." She rolled her eyes, and smiled at Mason. "So, are you gonna go to that prom the school is having?"

"The school is having a prom? Why doesn't anyone ever tell me this shit?!" Mason said in a serious tone. "I don't know. When is it?" he asked her. If it was a day he wasn't going to be busy he might go but then again for all he knows it could be this weekend and he wouldn't have time to get anything for it.

"Saturday night- eight to eleven," she said. "Afterwards some of us decided to go clubbing- we found some awesome ones were you don't need an ID to get in." Her face brightened a little as she mentioned the clubs. She had foraged an ID once to get in- and ended up fined. But that was in the past, and she was older now.

"Fuck..well if I can get my shit together by then I'll be there." Mason said and then smiled. "Awesome. Clubbing woo!" he said laughing. Kyree and Aiden also laughed. "You're such a dork." Aiden said laughing as he pushed Kyree.

"Kay," she said.

"So are you scared?" Kyree asked Sophia as they drove to the piercing studio. She looked out the window. "Getting the piercings I mean." she added looking over at Sophia who was driving since she was the only one who drove today.

"Eh, sorta. But I'm used to the pain, I've had it worse before," she said. She lifted up the wristband on her wrist and revealed scars from slitting. "Here we are." Sophia cut the engine, and got out of the car. She pulled back down her wristband, and started toward the peircing place. She opened the door and walked in. "Hi. I have an appointment to get snake bites- one on each hip." The lady nodded, and looked her up in the computer. "Sophia Gains?" she asked. Sophia nodded. "Come back here." She followed the lady to a room in the back, and sat down in one of the chairs.

"I'll be out here!" Kyree called to her friend as she walked off. Kyree asked the man behind the counter to pull out the lip rings and lip studs so she could pick out some new ones for her and Mason since his birthday was coming up. She found her some purple lip studs and then got blue for Mason. She saw a red pair and got those for Aiden since he had mentioned red was his favorite color besides black. Kyree paid for all three pairs and then sat on the leather couch watching whatever was on the big tv while waiting for Sophia.

Sophia came back a few minutes later, her shirt up a little over her snake bites. She payed for them with her money, then collected her change. "Ready?" Sophia asked. "Do you want to get something to eat, or I can just drop you off at your house."

"I'm ready. You can drop me off at my house." Kyree said smiling and getting up. She walked out to Sophia's car and waited.

Sophia turned on the engine, and said, "Sorry about you having to see my snakebites. It's sorta nasty right now...But he said to keep up the shirt while they healed. But, I got something to put over them when I get home." She waited for Kyree to get in, then started to drive down the street.

"It's fine. Mason'll love'em." Kyree smiled. "You really like him don't you?" she asked as they drove down the street to her house.

"Uh, yeah," Sophia said shyly, wincing as she shifted in her seat. Her snakebites hurt, but she told herself to get over it. "And there's no denying you like Aiden!" She smiled as she said that, giggling. "Why don't you just ask him out and get it over with? But don't tell Mason I like him.... Actually, I think he already knows. Heh." She pulled up at her house, and cut the engine. "Are you going to give those to him right away? I wanted to show him my snake bites."

"You can give them to him. Just tell him I bought them. His birthday is tomorrow." Kyree said handing her the package of blue studs for Mason. "I'll talk to you tomorrow okay?" she said getting out of the car. "Thanks for the ride home." she smiled before walkng up to her door and opening it and then going inside.

"Uh, okay," Sophia said, taking the packet and getting out of the car. She walked across the street, and knocked on his door.

Mason came downstairs and opened the door. "Oh hey Sophia. What's up?" he asked smiling at her.

"Uh, Kyree wanted me to give these to you, she says happy birthday. I got my snakebites!" she said, handing him the studs and turning slightly so he could see the snakebites.

Mason took the package and smiled. "Nice. They look good on you and I'll tell her thanks later. But thanks for bringing them over." he said smiling at her.

She nodded, waved goodbye, and turned to walk back to her car. Of course, in front of the guy she likes, she trips over her own feet. "Ouch..." she said, getting up slowly and dusting herself off. She was barely bleeding from a scrape on her knee, and continued walking.

The next day Kyree woke up and went through her usual routine of showering and then getting dressed and doing her hair and makeup. She walked downstairs and grabbed an apple and sat down watching a little tv before leaving for school. She had the red studs in her pocket to give to Aiden and had put her purple ones in last night. She figured Mason put his in too because after Sophia left he came across the street and thanked her for them. She smiled and continued walking.

Mason woke up at the sound of the alarm and hit the snooze button. After laying there for two or three more minutes he woke up. Pulling himself out of bed and going to the bathroom to shower and then went back to get dressed and brush his hair. He left without eating breakfast.

Aiden had made sure he woke up early enough to take a shower and get dressed. He did and managed to get to school before Mason and Kyree and even Sophia. He sat down on a bench close to the oak tree and sighed laying his head on the table thinking.
