Ryu just walked into the school's front gate, listening to his music as he went. Ignoring the people around him, he walked straight for the school office. Inside, the principle intrudiced himself, "Hello, you must be Ryu." Ryu just turned off his music and gave a simple reply, "Yeah." "Allow my to welcome you to the high school." "Thanks." , was all he replied. "Well then, classes will be starting soon. So lets go to your new home room." Ryu looks off without any care, "Yeah sure." He is lead to where the class is as the bell just rang.

Melissa grabs her books and letting her locker slam shut she rushes down the hall to her home room. As she walks in she takes her normal seat up the back of the classroom and instantly puts her headphones in. She couldnt really be bothered to listen today. Though as she looks up she sees the Principle walking in with a guy following behind him. Melissa glances over him, assuming he must be new here. She cant help but stare a little at him. Switching her music off in time to hear the Principle start his introduction.

The principle announces, "Ok everyone, this is Ryu Keller. He just moved to town and will be in your class." He turns to Ryu. "Care to say something?" Ryu just replies, "No." A short moment of silence sweeps through the room and then the principle sas,"Ok then, please take that empty seat over there." He points at a seat next to Mellisa. "Fine." Ryu walks over to the seat and just sit right in it.

The class teacher begins the lesson as Ryu sits down and the principle leaves the room. Melissa looks over at Ryu cruiously, feeling like the least she should do is introduce herself or say hello or something. Then again he didnt seem like he was really inviting people to attempt to talk to him with all his short answers. "Hi... I'm Melissa" she said with a small smile. Deciding that it is better to just be friendly with him, he could just be feeling uncomfortable because it was his first day.

Ryu looks ove at Melissa. "Thats nice." He then look at the front again. He puts his music back on and begins to listen to it in a low volumn, so he would be able to still here alittle bit of the lesson.

Melissa looks at him was a shocked and slightly hurt expression, shaking her head slightly and muttering "jerk" under her breath before turning to look towards the front of the classroom taking a few notes. This guy seriously has some anti-social issues she thought to herself.

The class goes on and then lunch arrived. Ryu bought his lunch and sat to eat it outside. His music was set up louder, now that no one was eeded to be listened to. As he atem he looks around the school. There were alot of students around, and never ment anything good for him.

Melissa went wth her friends to get lunch before they went off to do their own things. She walked outside with her lunch. Seeing Ryu already out there eating his lunch alone. Melissa walked passed him giving him a slightly dirty look as she did and sat down under the tree where she normally sat during lunch. Putting her ipod in her ears.

Ryu just looked at her with the same look as she walked by and continued to eat his lunch. At the moment, a group of students came up to him to have a word. "Hey you, I don't know what your deal is, but just don't think about causing anything." Ryu just looks at them and and then looks the other way. "Hey, did you hear us?" He looks at them, "Stop annoying me and maybe I wont have to beat you guys up." One of the guys grab him by the collar, "Hey, just who do you think you are?" Then, Ryu punches the guy that grabbed him, in the guts. "I said, don't annoy me." The guy falls to the ground and the other look at him. "That's it!" They start to fight with Ryu now.

Melissa cant help but overhear their conversation, rolling her eyes as she hears the confidence in his voice. It seemed like he was asking for a fight. Sure enough after a few moments a fight broke out between a few of the students and Ryu. Melissa got up from her spot under the tree and walked over to them "Just so you know, the Principle is heading this way" she said in a casual voice as she kept walking, lying because the Principle was no where in sight, but she might as well break up this fight before a teacher does notice them. She didnt really know why she was bothing to try and stop Ryu and the others from getting detention, maybe she just didnt want to see anyone to seriously hurt.

The group of guys looked at her and then turned to Ryu. "Your lucky today, but we'll get you another time." As they walk away, Ryu replies, "After school." They turn to him again, "WHat?" He repeats, "After school, roof top, meet me there if you guys think you can beat me." They look at him confused, "Do you have a death wish?" "No, just don't like to leave things unfinished." They laugh at him, "FIne, roof top, after school." Ryu starts to walk away, "Don't chicken out." and he leaves.

"I would call that a death wish if i ever saw one" Melissa said to herself as she shrugged her shoulders. If he wanted to get beat up by a group of guys then she wasnt going to stop him. She had tried to get everyone to let it go without the need of voilence but it obviously hadnt worked, so maybe if he got hurt it might signal the end. Or he was just someone with one massive ego who liked to start fights. Melissa threw her lunch in the bin before heading back into the building, walking towards her next class.

Later, after school, Ryu went to the roof top like he told them they would meet. Once there, he waited till the group of students arrived. He tells them, "Good, you didn't run." "Hmph, you are so dead, pal." The group gets ready to fight Ryu. "Lets go already." Replies Ryu. They run at him and try to punch him,but Ryu dodges their punches. He then kicks one of them into the others, knocking him into the others. He then looks at them, "Come on, thats the best you got?" They get irritated by what he said and run at him again.

Melissa had no intention of going to the roof top after school. She was beyond caring what the groups of guys and Ryu did to each other. If they wanted to be stupid she wasnt going to stop them. As she was walking out of the school though she heard yelling coming from the roof top. "Maybe I should just go and see that no body is being killed" she said as she turned around and headed up to the roof top. Waiting out of sight up the top of the stairs near the door.

By the time she got there, Ryu was the only one standing there. He walks up to one of the guys and tells him, "Don't bother me again." He steps over him and heads for the stairs.

It is obvious that he is going to see her when he goes to step down the stairs so letting out a sigh Melissa steps out from where she had been watching. "What the hell did you do to them?" She said looking from him to the guys on the ground "Is this the normal way you make friends at a new school? Because I dont think it is going to work" she said as she glanced over to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong with the guys on the ground before turning to look at Ryu with an angry and frustrated expression.

Ryu bends closer to her face and says, "They came to me, bothering me. If they ask for trouble from me, I'll give it. Besides, what do you care? Its not like I did something to you?" He straightens out and walks off. "By the way, they're knocked out, I'm not a murderer."

"No but its called having a sense of humanity" She said back to him, taking a dislike to him for using voilence and his non caring attitude "You cant just go around knocking people out if they are bothering" Melissa now said to his back as he walked away. She then went over and managed to get the other guys to gain conciousness again before she left them there and left the roof top and began walking along the footpath heading home.

Ryu walks back home later as well, not noticing that she was on the same street as he is becasue he was with his music on. He continues to his house, taking the mail and just walking inside. "Today was just as boring as I thought it would be."
