So here's the plan, recruits. Everyone on the planet is going to die, one way or another, except for 35 people. The only reason the 35 people won't die is because they've decided to join Project 0. To join, one must simply pick ONE letter of the alphabet, or a single digit number that isn't already taken (26 letters + 9 numbers = 35. 0 is excluded from the numbers because it is in the project title, silly!) and agree to help with the project.

Project 0 is about destruction...and saving the human race from unnecessarily long names. In order to do this, everyone must die, except for the 35 people with numbers or letters as names. It's that simple!



Okay, I know this sounds silly to most of you, but it's not supposed to be serious. Please see the OOC thread linked below on how to join, and rules and such. Do not post here until your name shows up on the master list in the OOC thread. NO OOC POSTS HERE!!!

Flowing blue hair under a deep purple hood could not mask the beauty and brains that hid beneath them. Soon, very soon the recruits would start pouring into the conference room, ready to jump at the chance to cleanse this world of it's sinfully long names, names that were used more than once, confusing the citizens of this world in their daily routines. Why would any god damn a species to such a fate? Nevertheless, matters would be taken care of soon enough.

D sat at the head of the table, lined with 34 other table settings. She sat at the only head of the table. What about the opposite end, you ask? A globe, standing five feet tall, with markings in red all over it, revealing the broad plan of destruction that would scar this planet. It served as a reminder to all recruits that Project 0 was real. Once a recruit joined, they could not back out and live to tell about it. D would make sure of this.

A smirk stretched across the pale skin of the blue-haired vixen as the first recruit entered the room. When she had sent the invitations out, she had not revealed anything about herself. Hell, all of these people probably thought only a man could come up with a project so brilliant, so fantastic. She wanted to observe their behavior as they came in, one by one. Each invitation had a different time on it, all 5 minutes apart. D wanted to see what they were like individually as they arrived, then as a group when they started interacting.

It took her months of research to find the people that she would send invitations to. This was no careless matter. She made sure each recruit would be loyal to her. Yes, loyal. To her and to the revolution.

She nodded to the one that would be J, her face still hidden under the dark shadows of her amethyst hood.

As the minute hand struck 12 the door opened. A man walked in. He was the right hand man to the notorious planner of Project 0, D. He was known as F. He was a 6 foot tall, well clothed and unspeakably dangerous man. As he walked into the conference room, a sudden silence overcame the room. As he sat beside D, he pulled out a file with a rather large sticker on it saying 'Top Secret : Project 0'.

He whispered something into D's ear. As he finished whispering, he turned around and faced the others in the room.He had a frown embedded onto his face as he looked at the others. He calmly asked D 'Where are the others?. Is this all ? '.

A tall, lanky man stalked into the room, his skeletal frame hidden by his zipped up windbreaker. He eyed the figure at the head of the table, noting the stifling aura emanating from him. Apart from the hooded one, there were two others in the room, both of them absorbed within their activities as he slinked by, taking the 23rd seat from the door, six seats to the hooded figure's right.

Clearing his throat, he proclaimed, "W," before placing his elbows on the table, and resting his chin on his entwined hands, grey eyes focused on the door. This... 'gathering', for lack of a better word, was centered around something undeniably sinister.

K Pulled back the hood of her cloak as she entered the room, revealing her pale, pinched face, her thick black hair and her stormy grey-blue eyes. She bowed her head to the figure at the head of the table and took her place, looking around at the other recruits with a mixture of mild interest and cold amusement. These would be some of the only surviors, the only ones left after they had torn the world appart.

Twirling her umbrella, a woman dressed in what seemed to be a classical lolita outfit, stepped boldly into the conference room. After surveying the assembly with a sweet smile she found her seat and sat down, hooking her umbrella to the back of the chair. Some people might have thought that she was rather old to be wearing such an extravagant dress but she was very confident in it, giving off the air that the only thing out of place in her whole being was her age. After arranging the bow in her golden brown, curly hair she smiled to the general assembly once more and introduced herself in a squeaky voice:

"Good afternoon, everyone. I am Q and may I just say how delighted I am to be here.I do hope the sentiment is the same for you." Seeing as this didn't have the effect she was hoping for the woman shifted uncomfortably in her seat even though she was still smiling. After a while she continued in the same squeaky voice:

"So, are we going to have tea now or are we waiting for the others to join us first?"

The being who had a name, but was now known only as "X" walked into the room. His tall height was offset by his tight, scrunched features. His eyebrows appeared to be permanently turned downward, pointing toward his eyes, a brown so dark that they appeared almost black. Running his hand through his surprisingly light brown hair, he nodded to the few who had already arrived and took his place near the foot of the table. "So, when is everyone else due to get here?" he said, clearly anxious to get on with the matters at hand. X began to drum his fingers on the table, watching everyone else intently.

As she took in the faces of the ohers,her eyes fell on Q and her smile curled up in a cruel smile. Such a naive young woman.. she thought, wondering why she had been selected in the first place. Q was definatly not what she'd expected.

A dark face nodded as F whispered. F was with her from the beginning, never faltering from his loyalty to her. D grinned at the sight of the file that held all of the information about the tasks at hand. It was a simple manila file folder, but it was worn and tearing, overflowing with diagrams, pictures, maps, and random paper scraps with pen scribbles all over them. She had spoken to him the day before about revealing her as a leader, but she chose to overlook his mistake because of his dedication. She simply nodded at him, and turned her head back towards the table that stretched before her.

Five recruits had entered the room, taking seats at random places at the table. The seats were not numbered or in order by letter. This assisted D with her observations of the individuals. She chose not to answer their questions just yet. D nodded to each person as they entered, her grin relaxing into a smile as the elegantly-dressed woman walked in inquiring about tea. D had almost forgotten the variety of people that would be here.

She lifted her hand and motioned for the butler standing in the dark corner behind her. The old, lanky man leaned down to listen to the whispers of his master. After a moment, he stood straight up and walked out of the room.

D pulled her hands out from under the table and stretched them out in front of her on the tabletop, clasping her hands together, patiently awaiting the others.

The butler returned to the room with a sterling silver tray in his frail hands. The tray held several pots of hot tea, all of the same variety. He made his way around the room, pouring tea into the teacups of the people that were present. He reached over each one, filling up the cups in the upper right corner of each place setting, careful not to spill the tea or clang the fine china together. He filled up his master's cup last. With graceful motions, D poured cream and sugar into her cup and lifted it to her lips, savoring the sensation of the warm liquid traveling down her throat.

Sounds of a hummed tune entered the hall, it was lilting and unmistakably chipper. Shortly after this sound came the clacking sound of metal wheels on tile floors. A tall blonde entered the room. She was nearly six feet tall, yet there was something about her that made you think of small things. She wore a red tank top and a pair of blue jeans. She also looked very comfortable in white bunny slippers. She was pushing a cart, and on the cart was a stack of trays, piled with delicious cakes.

The project sounded generally entertaining, in fact, it had originally been her idea. She had this horrible problem with lack of attention span, and D had picked up the idea and ran with it, with the diligence only a dictator can have. Watching the idea flourish made her smile, sure almost everyone would die, but oh well, there would always be bunnies, and they didn't need names.

She stopped by D's chair and set down a plate with a miniature white cake covered in whipped cream and strawberries. She didn't know if D liked vanilla cake with whipped cream and strawberries, but if she didn't, the snack girl would throw the plate on the floor. Simple.

She looked to her left as she saw something in the corner of her eye, but when she looked it was gone. Nothing. she told herself brightly Just the wind!. Nevermind that they were indoors, a voice told her.

"Hush you." she said allowed. "I am responsible for snacking these people and that is very important! I don't have time for your reindeer games!"

She was N. And rumor had it she was not all there.

With the increasing entrance of recruits, one more should make little difference. Z was her letter. She wore black dress pants, a white collared shirt and completed the set with a black suit jacket. The top few buttons of her shirt was unbuckled revealing a medallion hanging as a necklace around her neck. On her fingers were silver rings of custom designs and then a silver watch worn on her right hand. Her smile was pretty and her long eyelashes matched well with that long silky hair and those azure eyes.

Z strolled casually into the meeting room and sat down on the twenty sixth seat counting clockwise starting at the globe. Z, the twenty sixth letter of the alphabet. Z, the final and a completion to the set. And Z, 10 points in scrabble. She brushed her hair behind her ear as she crossed her legs beneath the table. Locking her fingers, she sat in a most proper fashion, waiting, waiting with a beautiful but peculiar smile across her face.

F had great respect for D, as she was the only one who had faith in him since they met. F's loyalty towards D and the project was far greater than any other member that would be present in the conference room. F was ready to put his own life on the line for the project and for D, as he had promised to from the beginning.

While he stirred the tea that was served by the butler, a venomous grin grew on his face. His eyes were glowing bright with determination. He was beginning to become very impatient. As he clasped the file tightly, he began to survey everyone who was present in the conference room. Nothing could be out of place, everything had to be perfect.

K declined a cake when she was offered. She'd never liked sweet things. She continued to watch the other people in the room, sipping her tea slowly as she sliently assesed each of them.

His eyes gazing around the room at the various recruits pouring in from the door, W declined the cup of tea offered to him, muttering something about "being a coffee person". As he adjusted the strap on his watch, he thought about the disturbing aura from the one seated at the head of the table. That must be the leader, the mastermind behind all this, he thought. W was a very analytical man, having dabbled from accountancy to psychology and even geology, W knew that analysis and observation were an important part of every aspect of life. Except for cooking. Because it was weird that way.

N waved at the butler serving tea. Did he know that he was going to die soon? She shrugged as she dropped K's plate on the floor. It shattered into many pieces and cake went everywhere. If it wasn't wanted it might as well be destroyed, she always thought. She circled the table several times, placing cake in front of everyone as they came in. She noticed, with a moment of frustration that they were all coming to different parts of the table at different times. This would take forever. Then she had an idea! She went around the table the opposite direction putting a plate of cake at each place. Now they didn't have the option to say no!

Satisfied, N returned to the head of the table, patting D on the shoulder as she passed. She noticed F as if he had appeared out of thin air. She looked at him and grinned.

"My aren't you a sneaky fellow! Did you get some cake, my mother baked it, she told my to share it with my "homo-whatsits" friends. I think she needs to rethink her vocabulary. We're going to kill everyone, she thinks we're all coming out of the closet? Hahaha!" she giggled happily. "Anyway, chances are we wont have everyone in today, people do have normal lives to pretend to live until Day 0. But I told D not to worry. I told them they have twenty four hours to respond to us with a valid reason why they missed or we're killing them violently while their loved ones watch! Of course it would open up their letter for one of those who just barely didn't make the cut, right D?" she smiled warmly at their leader. Her eyes scanned the table, taking in the details of each member with startling clarity for one so....off.

Q accepted the cake with a squeaky "Thank you!" and then proceeded to sprinkle sugar over it. She also put three lumps of sugar in her tea and lots of cream, almost making the liquid spill over. The woman ate the cake in small bites, with a careful sip of tea in between them, seeming to enjoy herself immensely. She blinked when N dropped the plate on the floor but her countenance didn't loose her smile, not even one moment. It was as if it had been surgically created on her face. She continued with her dessert while looking around the room. When she heard what N had said about the plan she felt obliged to intervene:

"But killing them like that would be dreadful!" she squeaked in a tone that was pleasant and alarmed at the same time. "I mean I know we are doing all the people suffering from hunger a favor by ending their suffering and all the sick and old people as well, but I don't see why we should let those that oppose us get of so lightly." For a moment she stopped as if thinking things over. "Of course, the method N suggests is most appropriate and it would certainly be a bother having them alive, but I somehow feel that more should be done, to prove our determination. But of course the end decision is up to our leader and I shall abide by it no matter what it is."
