Personality: Adele is calm by nature, though she's seen her fair share of destruction and death. She is overly blunt and confident in her abilities, and nor she is afraid to speak her mind. But her bluntness often makes her seem intimidating or off putting. She is focused on the task, though she does tend to goof off every once and a while and relax. She rarely if ever takes no for an answer, and has a habit of bickering if things do not go her way.
Abilities:Adele has the ability to wield the metal alloy Magnitum, forming it into whatever she needs. She can make anything from guns to swords, even rope to serve her purpose. The only downfall is that she can only carry a set amount of the stuff with her, which often puts her n tight situations when she needs a bit more of it to get the job done.
Origin: Adele grew up in the Ivory Coast, admiring the ocean and the culture. She grew up in a quaint village, where the metallic alloy Magnitum was discovered. Countries from all over the world, swarmed her village and the caves that surrounded them, hiring her people to mine the precious material. Growing up, she was warned never to enter the caves, no matter what. She ignored the warnings and entered the caves nevertheless, and found the truth of why they were mining the metal in the first place.
It was a substance that could never be broken, or burned. But it needed a stimulant and her people were being tested constantly, some even dying from the experiments performed on them. Terrified for her own life, she ran away only to be found out and forced deeper into the caves. In a final ditch effort, she touched come of the alloy and found that she could control it. The scientist soon deduced that the reason why she could control it was because it was all ready in her blood stream. Adele fought for her life, escaping the caves and with her family in toe they escaped to the city of Abidjan, where for the most part she grew up as a normal girl.
Upon entering high school, her family traveled to the states, in order to get a better understanding of her powers. That was when the organization Force came to greet her, offering her a true understanding of what she could do. At first wary to the organization, by the age of 18 she had signed on and began her training, By the age of 20, she had been able to stop a sinister syndicate from wiping out her own village and poisoning countless others. She is a well recognized member of her organization and was hand chosen to deal with a villain that everyone just wants under control.
Other: She speaks several different languages, French, English, Italian and Spanish.
The video had requested her specifically. By name, by power. Hell, she wouldn't be surprised if he knew every last thing about her. Adele leaned back in her chair, staring idly out the window of the jet that was heading in the direction of the secluded island. It was quite literally in the middle of nowhere, it wasn't on any maps she had looked up, and she now found herself wondering if the place even existed.
The request had been simple. He had asked for a truce. The villain she had fought against several times, sometimes winning, sometimes losing. But he had asked for a truce, and had asked for her directly. She didn't know what to think of that. It wasn't something she was expecting and even now, she was expecting the worst and she was all ready on her toes. Her eyes drifted away from the window and she took hold of a few of her braids, looking at the small metal beads that hung from the ends.
Without any sign of movement or force, the metal melted away and rose into the air, forming into a small metallic flower before returning to their original beaded form. She was pulled out of her reverie as the small television before her popped on and her boss appeared. A middle aged man with slicked back hair, the color of a ravens wings stared back at her, his face void of any emotion what so ever. Adele sat back, raising an eyebrow at her boss. She knew the speech that he was going to give. Stay on her toes and never lose sight of the ultimate goal and things of that nature. He ended his lecture with the usual, "Stay in touch," she Adele simply nodded before the screen went black.
"This is Delta Force, requesting permission to land," the captain called out over the radio. The pilot put a thumbs up and Adele nodded, happy that she would finally be getting out of this plane.
The pilot of the plane called back, announcing that they were set to land. Adele nodded and looked out of the window, examining the island that lie below the jet she flew in. Flora and fauna covered the island, and the white sand of the island seemed to sparkle. She smiled. She wasn't expecting the place to be quite so beautiful. The jet began it's descent, and Adele popped a piece of gum into her mouth to keep her ears from popping.
As the plane rolled to a stop, Adele took in a deep breath and rose to her feet. "And it begins," she muttered to herself, slinging her bag over her shoulder so it went diagonally down her chest. The of he jet opened as she stepped up to it, and immediately the scent of the ocean wafted against her face, and the young woman couldn't help but smile. She was suddenly reminded of home, and how close she had once lived to the ocean back in Africa. She smiled and stepped off the plane, hitting the tarmac without making a sound. Before her stood her rivals secretary, ready to give her the tour.
"Shall we get started?" the secretary asked, a small smile playing on her face.
