Kelsey was fighting with her stupid strightener. Again. It was crappy, she kept making plans to buy a new one, but she just became to lazy to do so. Kelsey sighed and gave up. She would just pull her hair up in a ponytail. It was a beautiful blonde color, with brown highlights. It reached just to her shoulder, maybe passing them just a little bit. Her eyes were a beautiful blue color, as light as the ocean, the black pupils showing well in the middle. Her skin was naturally pale and soft, her hair and skin having a silky touch to it.

Kelsey was beautiful, no doubt, every guy wanted her, but she didn't know who SHE wanted. Yes, she did have a boyfriend, his name was Skylar, but she just didn't...feel the same way he felt for her. Kelsey sighed again as she put on her tight jeans and tight t-shirt. She picked up her school bag. It was the first day back from summer break, she was a Junior now, inching closer and closer to her Senior year. She was eager, yay.

Kelsey kissed the cheeks of her mom, dad, and little sister, Hannah, before grabbing the keys to her dark blue BMW convertable and slid in the drivers' seat. She started it up and headed to Robert E. Lee high school. Unaware that today, she would meet him.

John sat in the shade of the building, protecting him from the bright morning sun. His black hair fell slightly over his face as he leaned forward while sitting on a bench. Under the hair his face seemed tired, as if he had been awake for many many hours, yet very awake. It would be his first day at this new school, and he hoped it would be his last 'new school' for awhile. He could feel a slight hunger growing within him, but it could wait. It would have to if he didnt want to have to run just like every other school.

He sets back on the bench, allowing his hair to slide back from his face. He wore a black hoodie, and blue jeans, both withered and worn, but still clean. His Emerld Green eyes study each student as they walk pasted him. It would be abit longer until he had to get to class, and he planned on waiting right here until he had to.

(Not a problem, I'll play both ^^. Sorry the character turned out kinda emo ish.. but thats just how I'd see a modern day Vampire >.<)

Kelsey sighed softly as she remained in her car. She predicted that when she stepped out, she would be overflowed with the entire school almost greeting her. But she had to do it. Kelsey let out another sigh as she opened the door. Yeah, she loved the attention, but still…

Kelsey smiled, walking up to her two best friends, Shelby and Morgan. “Hey!” They both said at the exact time, tackling her to the ground with a hug. Kelsey laughed as they all stood up. “I missed you guys! So, who was Hawaii, Shel?” Kelsey asked. Shelby laughed and shrugged. “It was all right….PERFECT!” She said exclaimed, a beam on her face. They all laughed as they made their way into school. “Hey, I heard we were getting a new student today. John something.” Morgan said. Kelsey looked at her. How odd… she though to herself as they went to their lockers that was assigned to them.

John had sat on that bench for much to long. It was only a few minutes until class, and he didnt even get to his locker yet.
He curses under his breath multiple times as he runs down the hall way, trying to find out which locker was his.
" COME ON! How hard is it to find a stupid locker 2051! " He looks around at the mostly empty hall way, almost everyone was already in class. He lets out a sight sigh.

' Well.. if I'm gonna show up on my first day.. I may was well not be late... ' He thinks to himself, just as he starts to speed up, slowly making it to a un-human like speed. ' 2048 .. 2049.. ' it was the end of the hall, so that ment his locker would be just on the other side of this wall. He quickly slides to a stop...

Kelsey was having a bit of diffuculty opening her locker. Shelby and Morgan had already left for class. She sighed in frustration. Her locker number was 2050, her combo was easy, but somehow it just wouldn't open for her. Kelsey finally opened it on her last try. "A three, not a seven..." She mumbled to herself.

Kelsey let out a startled gasp and turned her head sharply to the side when she heard someone skidding to a complete halt. It was a handsome boy she had now seen around school before. "Must be new..." Kelsey thought to herself as she took out the books for her first period.

He let out a sigh of relief. ' That would have been bad if I had kept running.. I want atleast a few days or normality.. ' He studies Kelsey from the corner of his eye as he opens his locker, having no problem even while only half looking at it. She was cute... but right now girls were the last thing he needed on his mind, especially human.

He gets his locker open, and pulls out his first hour book, History. It was then that he realized.. he has no idea where his class was. If he wanted ANY chance of making it in time he'd have to ask someone. He turns to Kelsey, and clears his throat, trying to get her attention. " Hey.. sorry to bother you.. but.. well.. I'm new.. and I need a little help around.. could you tell what room North American History II is? "

Kelsey glanced back at her locker when she saw the new guy staring at her. She must have looked pathateic just standing there, a dumbfounded look on her face, just looking at him.

Kelsey was just about to go to class, when he spoke. He had asked where North American History II was, just the class she was heading to. "Um, yeah, I have that class. Mr. White. Just follow me." Kelsey said with a small smile as she turned, waiting on him to be by her side. Everyone was right, he was incrediably handsome, so much it hurt her.

" Thank you.. " He said, not really expecting her to show him the way, more just tell him where to go. He made sure not to keep his eyes on her for to long, he couldnt show intrest. Not that he wasnt, but the thought to as of what it could lead to. He didnt want to have feelings for someone if he was just going to have to run in afew weeks, like every other time.

" Uumm.. I'm John.. " He says to break the quiet.

Kelsey walked down the hall with him, the only noise being their feet hitting the ground. Kelsey looked at him and smiled slightly. "I'm Kelsey." She said and than stared back, they soon approached a door with MR.WHITE written in large black letters. "This is it." She said and opened the door. "Ah, Miss Hall, so glad for you to accompany us." Mr. White said sarcastically. "Sorry, Mr. White, I...was showing the new person around." Kelsey said, quickly making something up as she sat down.

She flashed John a pleading look to just go along with the lie. "Ah, you must be John. Is this true? Was Kelsey showing you around the building?" Mr. White asked, giving John a sincere smile.

John sighed in his head. ' Well ... May was well go along with it.. ' He brushes his hair out of his face as most adults would like, and stood stall, putting on a wide smile.

" Why yes, I'm John, John Deals, and I take it to believe you are Mr. White, the teacher that will be teaching me History for the rest of this year? Yes, 'Ms. Hall' here was showing me around this LOVELY school of yours. She wanted to be back before the bell, but I talked her into showing me most of the building. Very sorry, I wasnt sure when the bell was going to ring, and I thought we had longer then she had said we did. " He said in a 'chipper' voice, then turning to 'Ms. Hall' with a very slight wink.

He loved making teachers think he was a good kid, makes it all the more shocking after the first day.

Mr. White chuckled and smiled. "Thank you for your honesty. You may take a seat behind Kelsey, since it's the only one avilable." Mr. White said as he smiled at him. He continued writing on the chalkboard, notes apparently. Kelsey smiled at John and mouthed out a 'thank you' as she glanced at her books.

Kelsey found it hard to listen to Mr. White's lecture about, well, history stuff, her mind kept wondering to John. It was all it would allow her to think about.

[[Off to bed!]]

John took his seat, and pulled out some paper to take notes. He staired blank faced at the board as 'Mr. White' wrote out notes fro the class to take. He sighs after afew minutes, already bored out of his mind.

He looks down at the blank paper on the desk before him. He looks around the room once before he makes a 'note' of his own kind.

Thank you for showing me to class. I'd say 'I owe ya one', but that debt got paid off rather quickly with the teacher here, didnt it?

While the teacher wasnt looking, or anyone who looked like a 'rat', he tosses the paper to her.

Kelsey glanced up from her notetaking as a piece of folded paper landed on her desk. She looked around the classroom. Kelsey picked up the note and quickly read it,. She stared at his name. john. Kelsey put the note away before Mr. White could get it or say anything about it. She smiled as she wrote one back to him and passed it to him.

Yeah, it's Kelsey. It is no problem, and yeah, thanks a lot of that, Mr. White is extremely strict and I would have for sure recieved a detention. I suppose I will. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Kelsey passed the note to him, swiftly and quickly, and continued taking notes.

[[Nighty-Night!]]

He read the note over, and slid it away. He sighs very lightly, and sits back in his desk.

' Maybe this place will be different.. Maybe I'll be able to make it more then a week.. Hell! Maybe I'll make a friend that DOESNT get onto you about not sucking human blood. ' He thought, ironically just as his stomach growls. He was still hungry, and getting hungrier, and it was only first hour.

He sighs... its gonna be a long day...

After the bell rang, ending first hour, Kelsey stood up. She gathered all her school belongings and headed out, going straight towards her locker, buys whistling at her, girls coming up to gossip, it was apparent she was popular. Kelsey sweeped her blond hair back as she laughed at a non-humors joke.

After opening her locker easily and getting out the materials for her second block, Kelsey made her way to drama with Ms. Tauten.

Thomas slowly makes his way into the full hall way. His hungry was starting to get to him, he could tell. His fangs had already began to slowly slide their way out.

' Focus! Its your FIRST day! You can wait it out you can! ' He just kept telling himself in his head as he slowly mades his way towards his locker. The growling of his stomach was becoming louder, and with each growl, his control over himself was weakend ever so slightly. He began to turn the hall to get to his locker once more, his eyes closed tight, and a hand on his stomach.

"Ow! Don't touch it, Alicia!" A girl named Megan, exclamied, clutching her bloody knee close to her. "Fine! I'm going to class!" The girl, Alicia, said as she marched to class. Megan squinted her eyes as her knee was in sharp and intense pain. The only two people still out in the halls now were Megan and John. "Excuse me, you wouldn't have a band-aid, would you?" Megan asked John, her knee still bleeding.
