Pull The Trigger (IC) ( )

Postby PriestKoo on Wed Dec 16, 2009 6:33 pm

'Beep - Beep - Beep'. The pagers belonging to the agents spontaneously sounded with the call of their commander. Once the pagers sound the agents have no other choice but to report to head quarters and receive information for the upcoming mission. Though the agents make few major decisions without consulting Trigger authority figures, whatever they were doing before they were paged would have to be disregarded in respect of their jobs, their well paying, but dangerous jobs. This life style is very dangerous and could get a lot worse if an agent were to disobey command or fail to complete a mission.

With the alarm sounding at HQ and agents slowly taking their seats in the large conference room, Trigger agencies became hectic. The agents were soon to be informed of the current situation; as the last of the team entered the room flat screen monitors begun to extrude out of the table at which each agent sat.

"Hello agents -" a females voice came from each agents personal monitor " - I see you all look exited about today's mission! I will inform you of the situation as it is now, but it may change over time. We must be quick and our decisions must be final." The women continued.

"The Russians obtained a classified file from U.S. soil. The agency suspected a Russian spy had somehow obtained this classified information from a reliable source within our very own agency, the suspicions had been proven true. Wilvem Wulvd double crossed Trigger agencies, but to his surprise, Wulvd was caught, arrested, and interrogated. He seemed to have started his interrogation with a bold and vigor attempt to keep his information, but soon cracked under the pressure of the interrogation teams. The file must be retrieved before it is entered into Russian computers and then returned to Trigger agencies. Agents will be taken by helicopter to a central location, but to avoid the surveillance they must tread carefully. Trigger vans will set up near the drop-off area, here they will set up medical and technological tents. The Russians are using a business's opening celebration as a cover to enter OUR confidential file into Russian super computers. The inside men have the Identification to get into the party and obtain further information. Throw on those accents and 'party'."

The monitors blinked and sunk back into the table. The helicopters were ready on the roof. "Good luck agents!" was the last thing stated by the feminine voice.

Duncan sat in the back of the bar, downing shots of whiskey. He was involved in a game of poker with three other men. Suddenly Duncan' pager starts to vibrate. "Why do you still have a pager?" asked the man sitting across from him. Duncan smiled and revealed his hand to be a royal straight, "Good game chaps. Maybe we'll do it again some other time." Duncan left the table taking his money with him and exited the bar. "Alright, time to see how HQ's doing...wonder if the coffee will be any better." Duncan hoped into his '72 Dodge Charger and drove to HQ.

On his way there he pulled out a smoke and and lit it using his favorite liter. Gold plated, with silver linings, its been with him since he was a teenager and treats it like a lucky charm. Once he arrived the large doors opened and the x-ray revealed him to be carrying his modified Browning Hi-Power handgun and tactical knife holstered on the right side of his waist. "Hey guys can we hurry this up? I'm not going to be late again." The glass doors open and he makes his way into the conference room. He takes a seat in the back and listens to the women on the monitor.

After understanding the situation, Duncan follows the rest of the team up elevator to the equipment room. He grabs his favorite, the silenced Barret and three packs of c4 for extra measure. He heads out the door to the helicopters and is the first one to sit down. "Russian's huh...should be interesting".

Vasiliy stood up from his seat and stretched his arms. His flannel shirt folded with the grooves of his body, while his tac vest stayed almost in place.
"Good, another chance to disrupt the Russian well-being. Praise to Allah for this agency; I would still like to be back in the mountains, though. We need a guerrilla assignment one of these days; I mean, I'm getting sick of these 'go fetch' missions. When do we get to have some fun?"
Vasiliy's English, by this point, was almost perfect. His Russian/Islamic dialect still found its way into his sentences, and his accent was as thick as his beard, but he could practically write a dictionary if he wanted to.

Mark smiled and left the conference room, he went to his locker to find some gear placed beside it, and he grabbed it and got ready, he had a tuxedo, a fake I.D reading: Vladek Kovilisav, this was his ticket into the party, there was also a map of the building with marked spots for entrance and the vans. He got ready and packed his weapons into a hiden pouch, and headed to the helicopter, he got in and took a seat beside Duncan in the dark transport section of the chopper, he flipped through the the different parts of his pocket knife, and turned to Duncan, "So, still playing poker, I presume?"

Vasiliy followed after them into the helicopter. The modified AK felt heavy like the first day he had to fight, at that little canyon in Chechnya the survivors called Hell's Hill. It was a bad campaign; he thought back to Waltau, to Chegu, to Mordechai. They were only kids when it happened, but it happened to their motherland, and that was all they needed to know.
The whir of the helicopter reminded him of the time his unit brought down a Russian gunship and held the crew for ransom. Mark spoke up, but before Duncan could reply, Vasiliy jumped in.
"Duncan doesn't know cards from his asshole. I beat him senseless two nights ago." Vasiliy replied.

Mark turned to Vasiliy, out of all the agents on the squad, these two were the ones he was closest to friends with, he took a moment to laugh, "Yeah yeah, you and your beating people senseless, save it for the russians eh" he paused to close his knife and put it away, then spoke again, "Also, if I was in a poker game with you two, we all know I would win" Mark surpressed his urge to laugh at himself for saying that, he was good at poker, but he didnt ever feel like playing.

Duncan shining his rifle looked up at Mark, "Walked away with two G's. I'm going to bet on Dallas to win tomorrow too." He pulled out his pack of smokes and threw it off the plane. "In times like these a more refined taste is needed." Duncan reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a few cigars. He lights his and takes a quick puff, "How 'bout it man, one for the road?" Duncan holds out the cigars for Mark and Vasiliy, "I got your back's tonight."

Mark smiled and took a cigar, he lit it and takes a few puffs, then looks up again, "Hey, if I get caught, I'll snap the first one's neck, you can shoot the rest, and the last one that comes around, well, we will leave that Bastard to our friend Vasiliy." Mark turned to Vasiliy and tapped his shoulder, "You like the sound of that?".

Vasiliy let loose a hearty laugh, one from a tough ex-guerrilla.
"Please, little girl, I wish not to harm you. Your face is too pretty for a whooping. And you are more suited for baby dolls than poker chips, my friend."
Vas made a motion with his hand indicating the concept of: "ZING!"
Duncan offered a cigar all around.
"If you get shot bad enough, I'll literally have to have your back, Duncan. I'll smoke to that; you're too ugly to be in this unit anyway."
He took one of the cigars as his thick accent resonated through their ear canals. Mark tapped him on the shoulder.
"Probably, but the shit of it would be that I was aiming at you."

"Yeah well, you better hope one of my babies bullets doesn't give you a pretty new scar out there tonight." He holds up a liter and lights Vasiliy' cigar. "Hopefully this job will go well, I need some money to pay off them debt's." Duncan leans his rifle up against the wall, "And hopefully this time the boss won't take the better half of the payment." Duncan checks his handgun and turns the safety off. Leaning back against the choppers wall he takes a deep breath in excitement.

Mark gave Vasiliy a punch to his shoulder and laughed, again, "Ya ya, just remember, even with baby dolls, I would beat you at poker Vas" with that said, Mark raised his hand to Duncan for a high five, hoping that he wouldnt get left there and look stupid, but Duncan would be on his side of this good arguement. "How long have we been having this poker arguement, I can remember it since I first met you two"

Duncan gives Mark a hive five and goes back to leaning on the chopper. "Uh, let's see. I'd say about three years, but the first time we met was five years ago in Egypt" Duncan chuckles and takes a puff of the cigar.

"Egypt! What a horrible place! Why must you remind me of this horrible place, girly man? I was not made for the hot weather! Oh, how I long to go back to the mountains, the nice, cool mountains of my home."
Vasiliy took a breath and sighed with nostalgia as the image of snow-capped valleys entered his head. Of course, upon his last years there, they had become blood-stained, but thankfully most of the blood was Russian.

"Haha, I remember setting up a little spot on top of a cliff and taking out some militia for a few days. When I returned to the spot I remember looking through the scope and seeing Vasiliy across the valley give me the finger." He took out the cigar and looked at it a second, "Man those were the days, none of this sneaking around bullshit."

Jack Rider stepped out of the conference room with a feeling of anxiety. He couldn't wait to get behind his rifle again.

He walked to his locker and pulled out his gear: A camoflaudge combat suit, his rifle; a British L96A1, his 9mm Beretta 92FS, a Smith & Wesson Tactical Boot Knife, and a first aid kit.
Once he was suited up, he headed for the choppers on the roof. Jack saw his comrades and gave a slight wave towards them all, giving them all a "It's gonna be a good day" look.
He then boarded his chopper and sat back in the seat.

"Of course those were the days. Those were the days of me being hired good money to train guerrilla groups. You have your Rwandan RPF, Somali Habr Gidr, IRA, Georgian Resistance, all the groups that were well financed! The Robin Hoods of their regions were paying me to train and fight, and finally, Egyptian militia calls to me until these men come to me and say, 'Hey! You are Vasiliy! We are great big corporation men! You come with us and fight for our group!' I knew that they were mercenary men, because we had been competing in business since I began training. But overall, I knew it was a 'We hire or you're fire' situation. No respect; no respect at all."
Dave came aboard the chopper.
"Oh, God, it's Jack. Quickly, men, let's leave." Vasiliy said as he patted Jack on the shoulder.

Derek felt a buzz on his waist as the pager vibrated, he had just been watching tv. In a matter of minutes he had changed into jeans and a tshirt and had grabbed his ready to go tux in its bag and his briefcase that held his other equipment. Then he was out the door and driving quickly down the road to get to his conference on time. Who knew what mission was in store for him this time? Working on an assassin team was never dull, and you could never predict what you would be doing next. And so on the drive there, Derek did not even try to guess. When he arrived, he simply locked the car and walked inside without an important matter on his mind at all.

He sat through the conference and then walked out alone to get his things out of his car. Along the way he practiced his Russian under his breath, making sure he had the words and accent just right in case of a scrutinizing eye, or ear rather. Walking back in, Derek went to his locker and retrieved his fake ID. There were other items there, but nothing that he did not already have a better version of, and so he left them. Trigger knew how he worked, but it was standard protocol to at least offer the weapons and equipment to their agents.

Derek then rejoined his fellow agents, climbing into the transport area of the helicopter and sitting down across from Mark and Duncan. He joined in as they were talking about past war campaigns and did not speak. He was not the type to interrupt, and he was still perfecting his accent under his breath.

Vassili turned from teasing Jack and looked over to Derek. He heard many familiar sounds coming from his mouth, many....NATIVE sounds.
"My dear Derek, are you working on your Russian accent?"
