Ok, when you're in UCP and in the Usergroups tab, what does it mean by "demote selected"? This may be a really dumb question, but I was just wondering since there's a "resign selected" option as well.
Just curious!

Demote, I think, means that if you are a member of multiple groups, you are choosing for that group NOT to be your default group. For example... When I was on staff, I was a member of 4 different Groups: Global Moderators, GWC Vets, Registered Users, and the House of Daggers. I chose for Globals Moderators to be my main user group, so my name was green. Now, GWC is my main group, so my name is Periwinkle. If I wanted my name to be like a normal user, could just demote GWC Vets and my name would no longer be purple, but I'd still be a member of the group. I hope this makes sense.
Another way to do the same thing would be to just make Registered Users my main user group, but I think the demote option is there by default of the forum, perhaps in the off chance that the board owner, Remaeus, decided to get rid of the Registered User group, since EVERYONE is a member of it.
As for the resign option, I assume that is if you want to leave a group, to where you are no longer a member of it at all.
