Qwilli - First Life ( )

Postby Omnichromiogasm on Mon Aug 09, 2010 9:06 pm

These are my first memories...or at least as far as I can remember back to the days that I was a child, towards the days that led up to my day of reckoning to where I went from beautiful girl, to undead pinup star...to discovering that I was a mutated super soldier created by a man whom was on the search of becoming immortal. These are my stories..my dreams...my ideals....my First Life

You are seeing what I saw as a movie..a video as so to speak. I find that writing can be quite tedious and video memories lasting a bit longer...

Part 1 - Family

June 21, Mid 1950's - New York, New York

"Mama! Mama! Look!" Qwilli cried with delight as she saw a small turtle slide into the water just as her peals of delight scared it.
A woman stood by her side, both wearing matching dresses with sun hats upon their heads to protect them from the heat. Qwilli looked up at her mother with smiles and giggles as she clapped her hands together and crouched down to grope at the grass playfully.
"Get up, sweetheart...I don't want your dress getting dirty! We wouldn't want Auntie Bettie seeing her favorite niece looking filthy!" the woman cooed while helping her child up and hugging her close to wipe the dirt from her stockings.

Qwilli gave a yawn and nodded as she suckled on her fat thumb to look around carefully. She was only five, and had already inherited her auntie's looks; raven silken hair, creamy skin, and an alert gaze that seemed downright inviting and full of curiosity. Her mother held her close as they walked away from the small rock pool and made their way towards the small get together of close friends and family members. They were in Central Park, New York and having a simple family reunion, yet it was nothing overly fancy and all was hosted by a well known member of their family; Bettie Page. Although the woman was sin in the eyes of their parents, the lady knew how to throw a great party when she wanted to. Streamers, caterers, and simple entertainment of a cheap singer. Nothing special or flashy and she didn't want to drag attention to herself nor her family due to her..work ethics and whatnot.

"There she is! My darling sister and my child!" the woman cooed while standing up and adjusting her gown.

"Auntie! Auntie!" Qwilli squealed while holding her arms out towards Auntie Betty.

Mother was quite reluctant to give the child away, yet she complied to her daughter's demands and gave the child to her younger sister and glaring somewhat. Betty caught glimpse of it and frowned as she retaliated with her own 'I'm sorry' frowns and shrugged her shoulders while holding her niece.
"Sometimes I wonder if she's really yours..." mother chided softly.
"Oh we are NOT starting this up again! Not here, not now!" Bettie hissed under her breath while letting Qwilli stand on her own two feet on the ground.
"Go play sweetheart. I think Uncle Roy has starting cutting some cake, ask nicely and he might get you a slice.."

Qwilli nodded hopefully, running off towards the throng of people with a few of her family members laughing at her clumsy actions after she stumbled somewhat. Betty turned towards her older sister whom had her arms crossed over her breast, she herself had her hands on her hips as she tapped her toe tip on the ground.
"Well?"
"Well what?"
"What is your problem? Every time I try to do something nice for your kid or even when I interact with her, you get quite overprotective and just downright snippy with me!" the pinup star complained.
"I'd rather not have my child around peers whom influence themselves upon the porno industry. It's bad judgment and even worse-"
"Oh don't even start with that tom foolery on me! Not on all days! For once I get Mama and Papa to actually come to a family reunion and here you are...actually going on with their right-wing religious ideals. Of all times!"
"Don't you bring mother and father into this!"
"Don't bring my business into it!"

The two sisters stared each other down, shooting daggers at each other through their eyes as their tension seemed to flow around their family ever so slowly.
"I just don't want Qwilli to become like you-"
"What!? You mean successful, beautiful, everything that you wish you could be? I may not have our parent's respect-"
"That's right..that's something you don't have; their respect, and you never will if you keep up with your debauchery and sins!"
Betty showed no mercy, raising her hand to slap her older sister across her face and remove her sun hat from her head.
"Do not speak of sins and debauchery in front of my very face when you yourself once did the very same thing! She does not even know her own father and neither do you with your one night stands in the past! Hypocrite!" Betty snapped loudly for the others to hear nearby.

A deafening gasp from a few family members caused everyone to fall silent as the two sisters turned to look at their kin with cheeks pink and anger in their eyes. Qwilli sat in her uncle's lap, quite unperturbed such scandalous actions between her mother and aunt for she was too busy enjoying her slice of cake. The sticky icing and cake crumbs smearing over her face. Her mother moved forward, ignoring others as they stared at her with anger and confusion. She picked up her child, holding her close to smear the cake frosting off her face and kiss her cheek.
"Come on Qwilli, obviously we're not wanted here..." she hummed softly.

Her mother began walking away from the party, almost marching as she removed her daughter and herself from a tense situation.
"Oh come now! Don't be like this! Come back here and enjoy the party! Please!?" Betty cried.

Yet Mother ignored her attempts in apology as she left the park to return home.

May 19, Mid 1960's - New York, New York

"And may she be eternally upon the grace of Our Lord, may he take her with open arms into Heaven so she may be granted with peace and love..."

Qwilli stared as if she were daydreaming, dark eyes not really focused upon the situation at hand. Sixteen and her mother had passed away due to sickness. The woman was a bitter and bitchy woman, but a mother nevertheless and she had cared for her only child for years on end, enforcing the righteous ways of Christianity and the Lord into her body and mind, but had mostly failed obviously. A few family members, mostly church going friends, had showed up and had given their condolences. Mother had left her everything, which wasn't much as is, but enough to get her by.

Now, she had no one. Literally. She never knew her father, nor even spoke his name and her mother never spoke of him. She rarely saw her grandparents, only on Christmas, maybe Birthdays if she were lucky and her mother could afford a train tip so far out in the countrysides. Maybe there was Auntie Betty, she remembered the woman fondly, but memories from so far back were scant and hard to gather. The only known information she had on Betty was slim to nothing. Something that her mother always talked about; how much she hated her younger sister and how much she wished she was dead.

Oh the irony...

Qwilli gave a sigh, adjusting her black blouse before being the last to walk away from such sadness and perk up as she saw a limo pull up just as she was making her way towards her uncle's car. She was expecting to be placed into a foster home, or at least get lucked out to go live with her uncle until she could handle things on her own, yet this overstretched car looked promising. A woman, somewhat old and wearing a black veil over her face stepped out of the car with tears being dabbed over with a bit of cloth. Her gaze befell upon her niece and the resemblance of them both was disturbingly close, as if looking in the time machine of a mirror, yet they were used to such things and simply smiled at each other.

"She went peacefully?" Betty asked.
"No....she suffered...but I think the last few moments were of mercy..." Qwilli commented softly.

Betty sighed, stifling a few tears before nodding her head and looking around. Cars were already pulling away, even Uncle Roy had sped away as if giving an obvious signs that the rest of the family wanted nothing to do with spawn of sin. Qwilli frowned deeply, arching a brow and giving a deep sigh as she rubbed her arm.
"There goes my chances of a home..."
"What do you mean?"
"Well I'm too young to look after myself, obviously...Uncle Roy thought about taking me in..but..."
"Uncle Roy's a pervert..." Betty snapped while spitting on the ground and stamping her foot on the ground.
Qwilli's eyes widened as she frowned deeply at such words before letting out a giggle. Qwilli shook her head as Betty joined in with the joke as well by laughing.
"Come on.." Betty said while holding her hand out to her niece.
"What?"
"I'm not letting my favorite....only...niece go on living homeless in this world. Wouldn't be right.." she said with a grin.

Qwilli frowned, tapping her fingers together and then looking down at her feet. She wasn't a stupid girl, and she had heard the sinful acts, nay, even seen them in old photos and never understood, how or why her auntie could do such things. But how things were looking, it was either go with the sinful woman whom would take her in, feed her, clothe her, and raise her until she could take care of herself...or...live out on the streets and possibly die before the year was over with. She simply heaved a sigh and placed her own hand in her aunt's and nodded.

"Good! First thing we'll do is get you out of those depressing clothes, feed you, and then we'll go shopping!"
Qwilli frowned, following her aunt into the car and removing her hat from her head before placing it in her lap as she sat down.
"Auntie Betty...who was my papa?"

Betty frowned slightly, looking out the window as she avoided the topic completely with a yawn and leaned back in her seat.
"Let's save such conversations for when you're older alright?"

Part 2 - Rebirth

March 15th, 1979 - Noblesville, IN

"Somewhere inconspicuous. A place where nobody really goes, with a small population, and that is always overlooked. A small town...or a rather large village also. That's where we'll do the testing. We're going to need a LOT of space, enough subjects to split up into common groups to study on properly. Obviously we need to keep things under the blanket so other surrounding areas do not get suspicious. Our choices are Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, or Iowa,"

The room was dimly lit, a man...nay..maybe a scientist, stood before a jury of people who's faces were hidden by shadow. The man, apparently weak and rather worn out was on the spotlight, his eyes showing lack of sleep and his toned, but semi-malnourished body was in demand for sunlight and refreshments. A table was in front of him, multiple folders and files along with CD disks lay before him as he wrung his fingers through each other. He was annoyed, but nervous and proud of his accomplishments for working on something for so long.

His name was David F. Morgenstern. He had lived one hell of a life and had stumbled upon the fountain of youth. Or so to speak, an amazing skill to live damn near forever. His body could take on damage ten times worse than the average human body and nobody knew how to actually kill him for good. Oh yes, he could suffer, he could still feel pain and the initial shock of so much pain and stress upon his body could get to him, but even if you ripped out his heart and lungs..the man could somehow simply grin and still be alive. Many secret forces of power; government, occult, religion, whatever and whomever seriously wanted in on what he was doing. All they wanted was his immortality, in return, he would get whatever he wanted to duplicate, or at least attempt to rewrite what had happened to him.

Currently, his tasks were finally coming to an end...yet of course...

He needed human test subjects.

"My plan is to go for Indiana. Th state itself is simply farm lands and a few forested areas. Many small towns that are smothered with forest or open fields dot the area as well as gray areas that have still yet to be properly discovered. Look...I..I know this sounds insane, but my apprentices and I are so god damn close to what you guys want...you can almost taste it at the tip of your fat fucking mouths!" he snapped.

Over the years of working with these assholes had become a complete reality shock towards David, as well as those whom were willing to work under him. They had all become prisoners. Slaves to say the least. Day in and day out they toiled with tests, studies, taking notes, poking, prodding, and simply thinking. Yet over time, their surroundings got the better of those whom were weak willed and over worked. Being holed up underground and forced to constantly work with the same people for nearly ten and a half years drove more than half of his apprentices insane. Now, only he and three apprentices were the last alive out of twenty strong.

"Are the test subjects we gave you not suitable enough for you?"

David shivered somewhat, bowing his head and laughing.

"That's the point. We've tested over a dozen human beings and we thank you for such a request that took you bastards six and a half months to comply with. By the time we actually got the virus into the human body, it had already reached it's final point was not nearly ready to deal with the human immune system. The damn thing ended up going into a self destructive war path by not only trying to kill itself, but also the host in the most gruesome ways! So yeah, thanks a bunch assholes!"

"Insults will not get you anywhere..we simply want to know WHY you need to place the virus in such a rural and confined area that is bound to escape and transform into a nationwide, and possibly a worldwide Pandemic. We don't need anymore of your mistakes Dr. Morgenstern..."

David flinched again, fumbling around through the papers and holding up a rather thick few pages before slamming them down on the table with a grunt.

"We've discovered that the virus has a proper way of doing things. As if almost having a mind of its own, the virus chooses which host is acceptable to harbor it. If the virus denies the host, it will simply kill itself off along with the host as well. We've gone through millions of test subjects over the past two years and it's a pain in the ass going one by one, person by person, just to figure out how, why, and what reasons the virus chooses its host. We need to figure out which host is acceptable and which are not. Weather it be because of DNA, physical structure...gah..whatever it may be, we need to figure out what the virus 'sees' as acceptable and try to either cancel that out or modify it so it deems whatever one fits as acceptable.." he explained.

The beings tapped their fingers on the table, some tapping pencils while whispering to each other softly. The mumbled in augmentative ways, some hissing under their breaths before turning their heads to stare down at David.

"Offer granted, Dr. Morgenstern. Yet..."

"Yet?"

"Yes...yet. Some of us have witnessed the...."rejection" the virus shows when it deems the host unacceptable. Humans that end up having their immune system being destroyed before getting sick and kicking the bucket. Soon enough, they are quick to rise as insane flesh eating monsters that run wild in attempts to slack its hunger. Its like the AIDS virus...but with a twisted Zombie Infection Apocalypse all in one simple injection. In that case, with each failed host...we must enforce the National Guard and whatnot to kill off the remainder of what is left. After that, we destroy the city itself. For the sake of the Nation, nay, the world, to make sure the virus is completely obliterated and all information, facts, and whatnot are destroyed. The survivors...will be captured and sent to you immediately.."

David nodded, such things sounded completely logical. The last thing this world needed was a Zombie Invasion..

<------------>

"RUN! HURRY THE FUCK UP! RUN!" screamed a man in a truck.

He was driving well over the speed limits down main street. The stench of blood, burning bodies, and stench all over the place made his stomach churn. The town of Noblesville had come under attack. Not by Nazis, not by the Commies, but by the undead horrors only known as zombies. The town was a cute and quiet place, a farm town with farmers and friendly rednecks that loved hunting and just sitting on the porch with a beer and their neighbors. It had a high school, a church, a playground, and whatever else one needed to feel at home and safe. The police force was low due to little crime, save for the wild punks and teens running about, but other than that...peaceful..welcoming...nice.

At least it was, but fuck that, James was too busy pressing his foot down on the gas pedal and screeching down the road. A girl, young, pretty, and freaking out of her mind, was attempting to run as fast as she can away from a horde of zombies, ten at least, right behind her. Gaping, groaning maws dripping with blood as they screamed with primal rage, their next meal only feet away from them encouraged them to move onwards.

"GET IN! JUMP! COME ON!" James screamed as he kicked open the passenger door.

She knew when to take action and she did! The girl stopped just in time right when the car was turning down L Street and used her legs to lunge her body forward. Clumsy obviously, but nevertheless she managed to leap into the truck with her legs kicking wildly and arms grabbing the man's legs in attempts to tug herself in. She felt his strong grip upon the back of her shirt and the slight rip of it too as he helped her in. She screamed loudly, kicking a zombie in the face whom was lucky enough to grab on to the passenger door.

"GOD DAMN THINGS NEVER GIVE UP!" James cursed as he yanked the woman in harder.
The woman screamed again, this time kicking the zombie hard to knock it off and roll on to the black pavement below. She breathed deeply, flailing legs about again to sit up and slam the door shut. Chest heaving up and down and raven hair matted, but pulled back into a messy ponytail, the woman stared at her savior and blinked a few times. She smiled deeply, knowing whom it was and pounced with her arms wrapping around his neck and smothering him with kisses upon his face.

"I thought you died!?" she cried while hugging him close.
James grunted something under his breath, pushing her aside so he could get a better grip on the steering wheel so they wouldn't crash.

"I thought I died too..but I managed to fight the bastards off and found this truck. Hah! Can you believe it, Qwilli! Some asshole left it running still!" James said with a grin as he leaned forward to kiss her cheek.

Qwilli wiped off her tears from her face and giggled as she shook her head and looked down at her shirt. Her favorite shirt was now stretched and slightly torn to reveal her belly, yet her black khaki pants were still decent, but she was barefooted. How she managed to get away was a wonder to herself as well. She was still heaving hard though, her chest hurting as she attempted to calm herself down.

"Here.." James grunted as he reached over the chair.

He grabbed a bag and a sawed off boom stick that was fully loaded. The bag reeked of fast food, but was a welcoming aroma to Qwilli. She smiled, digging into the bag and cradling her gun close while scarfing down a handful of soggy fries before stuffing her face with a Big Mac.
"The hell did you get McDonalds??" she snapped and vaguely remembered that Noblesville not having many fast food joints.

"Ya know on Highway 38? They got one in the boonies out there when you're on your way to New Castle. Went out there, thinking that you'd might be thinkin' to just get out of town. The place was ransacked though and I got ambushed by a few employees killed them off with a lil help...but.."

"But what? What is it babe?" Qwilli asked while wiping sauce off her face and staring at him.
"Thing is...they got Carrie and Isaac...I'm so sorry Qwilli.." he said softly with tears forming in his eyes.
Qwilli fell silent, stifling her own tears as she stared at her bare and bleeding feet.
"Did ya shoot em in the head?"
James nodded shaking his head and making a sniffing sound before clearing his eyes and mind away from the thoughts. He then turned his head every once and a while to stare at her to see if she was okay. The both of them were quite silent after such remarks though. Every once and a while, Qwilli would fall asleep, but quickly wake up as they attempted to remove themselves from town. Yet at every turn, they met road blocks or turned over army trucks that blocked their way, as if they were locked in this hell pit that was once their home.

"I love you, Bettie Boop..." James said softly while leaning forward to plant a kiss on Qwilli's cheek.
And I-WATCH OUT!" Qwilli screamed.
James snapped his head to the side, seeing a man standing in the road as casual as ever while attempting to light a cigarette. James and Qwilli screamed as the headlights showed the man's features as a gruff looking scientist whom seemed unamused by a giant four wheel drive pickup truck heading in his direction. James swerved hard, crashing into a light post and lurching forwards to smash his head against the front window. Qwilli screamed loudly with confusion, looking around for the mysterious man whom was obviously not there now.
"James...please..wake up.." she squealed while looking around one more.
Such sounds and ruckus were bound to attract unwanted attention. She breathed hard, removing her seat belt and nudging James in attempts to rouse him from his blackout. Face bleeding and dizzy, James gave a groan of pain as he stared at Qwilli. His love...his heart. His woman. He was going to marry her, ask her to marry him. He dreamed of it for years ever since she moved into town after she left her aunt's place in New York. It was his goal...if he was going to die..he wasn't going to let her die along with him!
"Qwilli..run...get the hell outa here.." he whined while trying to recollect his mind.
"I won't leave without you.." Qwilli wailed with hot tears streaming down his face.
James coughed up blood as he heard the snarls and screams of the undead coming near. He winced in pain, trying to sit up as he grabbed the gun out of her hands.
"I'll....I-I'll distract them why you get out. You remember the old candle warehouse? Remember it sweetheart?" he asked while smiling.
Qwilli giggled and nodded while hugging him close.
"Y-yeah James..I remember. You took Carie and me down there when we were little..and..and you scared us. You and Isaac scared the shit out of us. We went home crying..and..and...." she said while shaking her head.
"You got such a beating from ya mom..you couldn't sit in class for nearly three days.." she added softly.

James chuckled, more blood dribbling out of his mouth as he turned his head to the side to see the zombies coming closer.
"Keep running out towards the countryside, Qwilli..keep runnin out there and you'll be out of the city. Keep goin..and you'll reach Centerville.." he whispered in her ear.

Qwilli cried loudly, climbing out of the pickup and leaving James behind. He looked down at the shot gun in his lap before throwing it out the window for her to pick up. Qwilli was quick to retrieve it dart into an alleyway to hide herself in the darkness. The zombies advanced upon James like a pack of lions on a kill. Gnashing teeth and broken nails digging into his clothes and soft flesh. James' screams and gurgling cries of confusion rung in Qwilli's ears as she clamped her hands over them in hopes of ceasing such noises. Yet, she wouldn't cower. She stood up slowly, standing behind a dumpster as she aimed her gun at the pickup. She saw James, his face distorted in pain as the last forces of life were beginning to leave his eyes. He simply smiled and nodded.

BANG

The bullet made perfect impact with the truck's engine, lighting it aflame in a flurry of explosion that sent Qwilli flying back into the darkness of the alleyway. She smelled the stench of stale water and blood, but the only thought she had in her mind was James' smile. She coughed and hacked hard, getting up on her feet with bits of glass stinging against her skin. She winced in pain, limping somewhat before stopping to a halt.

Before her stood the same man that James had almost hit. His glasses removed as a large gang of zombies drooling and grinning madly stood behind him like a hunter with his hunting hounds. She turned around, attempting to escape but came to a stop as more zombies, slightly burned from the explosion, blocked her way.

"Remove her.."

That's the last thing she ever heard. Qwilli screamed and fought back in attempts to remove the zombies from her body, she felt their nails dig into her skin, multiple bites and the painful sounds of her own flesh being removed from the bone.

Then.....
Darkness....

September 21st, 1980 - England

She awoke in an alleyway. That's all she can remember, save for far off past memories of her childhood that are scant. She remembers Auntie Bettie. Good ol Auntie who took her in after her mother died of a sickness..no..maybe a murder? She couldn't remember. But the events in Indiana were completely erased from her memory. She remembered some sort of pain...and an explosion, but nothing else.

Qwilli groaned loudly, sitting up with her back against a brick wall. Her eyes felt stale and puffy, as if she had been crying all night and her body...her body felt ache and sore all over. Almost stiff. Yet....she felt cold. Unnaturally cold since when she glanced over she saw a few folks wearing shorts or dresses. Obviously it wasn't too cold out, but she was freezing. Inside, she felt warm, secure and alive, but her skin...why...what?! Why was she blue..and why..why was her skin..so cold..

She attempted to sit up, her head feeling groggy and clouded while her limbs still felt sore, but she strained herself and was quick to stand up. Hair smelling like fresh rain and glasses upon the bridge of her nose, she looked around lazily to gather her surroundings. Where the hell was she? Qwilli looked down at her self carefully, black torn shirt that showed her belly as well as black khaki pants that were a bit too small now for her body structure. She frowned deeply, what the hell..had she put on weight!? She grunted, not really focused upon her looks, she just wanted to know where the hell she was and how she got here.

That..and she was hungry. Good good she felt like she had not eaten for weeks! Groaning loudly, Qwilli stepped out into the open as the sunlight through the clouds caused her to shut her eyes somewhat. She looked around, the common people looking at her with curiosity for a few seconds before shrugging their shoulders and going on their way. Qwilli gave a soft sigh, cocking her head to the side before walking down the streets of London, barefooted..and alone..

May ???, 2010 - ??????

Qwilli awakens somewhere completely unknown to her. She remembers little of her blackout ages ago, but from the point on she knows well enough. The woman whom was like a second mother died recently, Auntie Bettie left all her fortunes and wealth to the only kin she thought rightfully deserved it. She also remembered flashing of cameras of such information, everyone wanting the scoop and big info on the woman whom had not already been kin to Bettie Paige, but also a Zombie/Undead Civil Rights Activist for a good few years. After Qwilli's ordeal and drama with being the so called undead and randomly waking up in London that fateful day, she came to realize that people prejudged her all too quickly for some sick fetish attraction or just some monster that had been shot down. Amazingly, she had been shot multiple times in the head and face, yet did not suffer the common deaths of other undead beings. When they did a so called autopsy on her skull, they discovered that most of it had been reinforced with titanium-bullet proof alloys.

She had no idea how they got there, and the folks at the morgue thought it'd be wise if she kept it secret. She remembers going on some British TV Show..something like Oprah..or something...hell her mind is fuzzy now, but she remembers talking with some snobby nerdy woman whom asked her a lot of offensive questions. She then remembers going out in the back alleyway to have a smoke and hopefully escape the paparazzi from finding where she was...then...blackout...again.

Now she was up and about in a rather creepy looking forest, with only her duffel bag filled with clothes, an empty journal, a few packs of food, a gun, and a pencil to write with. Strange thing is, she has no idea where the hell this duffel bag came from. Least she still had her wallet with some I.D.

Where the hell is she?

May 23rd - Evening

I have no idea what the fuck is going on right now. Two days ago I was in Europe, I black out, and now I'm in some woods. I'm sitting before a campfire though, which is lucky since I found an abandoned caravan nearby that was loaded with a lot of stuff..odd...haven't seen something that old looking in ages..looks like it could have been in a museum by the looks of it.

Either way, as I look up at the stars, I see Ursa Major and Ursa Minor...even the north star is there, but what makes it worse and far more confusing is that there are other star signs I just can't figure out. It's like where I'm at is a clash of not only things from one world, but also another all clusterfucked into one big mushy goop. I'm not tired though, I don't seem to tire as much anymore actually, my body doesn't seem to wear out as fast as living people. The common man would have rested last night, but I've been wandering these Dark Woods for days now without even feeling sore.

Chalk down another advantage for being a zombie!

Truthfully, I don't even know why I'm writing in this book, hell, where did this bag full of clothes and stuff come from? It's like some unknown force konked me over the head and just threw me into the unknown. Yet I think I'm getting close to civilization..when I was near a cliff I saw a rather large city in the distance so I'm heading in that direction hopefully. Sadly, I have no compass so I'm depending on the stars as written earlier, but it's quite difficult to find the North Star when one night it's facing West and you wait for the net night and it's facing North once more.

I'm just going to have to rely on my zombie instinct. Which is strange...I can smell something good in the distance. Like...dunno..fresh food of some sorts and an odd warmth that just drives me forward. Maybe if I just rely on that then I'll manage to find some folks that could help me out..

If not then I'm just going to become one of those wild girls and just survive...

May 26th - Morning

3 more days of traveling and I'm still not tired. I came across a small settlement of gypsies that seemed more than happy to take me in and tell me some things. Although they were quite hard to understand since they spoke a different language. Nothing that I've ever heard before though, either way, they gave me fresh food and water as well as some proper clothing instead of the rags that were hanging off my body. They even pointed me in the right direction! Nice folks around here at least!

It's morning though, been walking about for nearly three hours now..and then all of a sudden, my body is just like: "okay, please stop!" My ankles literally gave out from under me and I fell pretty hard, ended up popping one of my ribs out of place, didn't hurt though, but it was a pain in the ass trying to get it back in the right place. I finally gave up and just allowed it to stick out. Had to tear up this nice scarf that the Gypsies gave me to reattach my feet to my ankles again though. Pity, was such a good looking scarf too!

Either way, I'm resting properly for once and you won't believe what happened! I was just laying here, decided to close my eyes and try to sleep. Which is quite hard for me to do now, and I sat up, worried that some dog or animal was going to come and yank one of my feet away, that and I didn't want to chase anything down just to get my feet back, so I thought: "well how about I just tighten the ropes around'em?" I go to untie the scarf and somehow...my feet were perfectly fine! 'Mazing! Either way, I got up to test them out and they were just as fine as ever, save for the thin dark blue linof where they had broken off, they seemed to have repaired themselves. Neat-o!

May 29th - Afternoon

I finally made it to this unknown city I saw days ago on that cliff. Good lord it's like something out of a fantasy book. Castles clashed with Sky Scrapers. Cars...horses and buggies...and the people...where do I begin! Let me just say that for once in my insignificant, yet quite odd, life, that I feel at home and not so different. Back where I came from, it was just well...humans. I and only three others like myself were sentient zombies. But here, you have so many mixed breeds...races...species...forms...entities..forces...it's just...wonderful. I had no idea where I was going, It's felt like at least five hours now, but I've just been wandering about like a kid in a candy shop. I didn't stop to talk with anyone, English seemed to be a prominent language, but one could tell that any and every language was fully accepted.

And the food.
My god
The drinks...
the items
everything
Wonderful
Fantastic

Words can simply not be properly writen down on how giddy I feel right now. Surprisingly enough, I still had no idea where the fuck I am. So, I asked a random trader and he simply explained; Yer in Wing City..
Wing..City...I don't understand the meaning and I kept on overflowing with questions to the man whom appeared surprised that I was so ignorant. Yet finally he laughed and we talked for hours on him explaining everything.

"Wing City. That's what they call this place. The main city of the planet Terra which is in a universe called the Multiverse. The Multiverse is pretty much the gateway to all the known and a few unexplored and unknown universes so far. Even other realms are tied in with the Multiverse. The planet Terra itself is the so called main heaven for all beings whom wish to simply interact, educate, be educated, trade...whatever one wants or needs then Terra provides one way or another..or the people whom already inhabit the planet provide it for you.."

I asked him why they called the city Wing City..

"Nobody really knows, yet..I see it as a funny metaphor. Wings..of any creature or being vary in color..shape..and size..even upon those that are not made of feathers, each follicle of hair..or scale..or whatever a wing may be made up of, each little bit is different. And what do wings do? Well depending on whom and what you are, wings are quite useful. They get you to point A to point B depending on how fast you fly. They can protect you and/or a loved one if needed be and if enchanted. They can also intimidate one's enemy...yet...

Yet...

In most poetry..songs..dreams..stories..whomever or whatever it may be they always tend to be hoping..nay wishing to just escape..fly away, be free from their cages and burst into flight to reach their own personal heavens from above and below. The wings let you soar to wherever you wish to go and they guide you in whatever direction you wish..sometimes they put you in a place where you think you don't belong, but once you're there you realize that you're there for a reason. Beings whom enter and exit Wing City have their own pair of wings one way or another. They come here for refuge, they come here for a better life, adventure...misdeeds...honor...justice..freedom. Whatever your dream or goal..or whatever it may be, you "wings" will guide you to your heaven. Wing City, just happens to have various heavens for various beings that interact with one another...although..that's just my views...I'm sure other folks will tell you the facts or their own ideals upon it..

But...hey..that's the wonders of it.."

Isn't that freaking awesome?! Really! Now I'm even more excited to not only interact, but also simply start my new life here. I think I've finally found a place where I can be accepted.

I think I've found a home..
