This is my first attempt at a group roleplay...the only problem is I need help and or suggestions.

Welcome to Venus
Year 2100

Place: Venus’s main support dome—otherwise known as the Red Light District

Story- Earth had fallen; space colonization was the only way for the human race to survive. Yet humans never change, they were bound and determined to wreck as much havoc on every other planet in the solar system. Soon the support domes became cesspools full of gangs and violence, yet Venus’ was the worst, it became the home of the Orion Sect (sort of like a modern day Mafia). It was here that the first motorcycle racetrack was built; it was a means to control the gangs and earn a big paycheck for Orion.

Yet out of these races, heroes started to appear, it was a way to get noticed if you were the best. Yet this also meant that Orion was noticing you too. A racer could either follow along with the game plan, or die trying to change things.

(This is just the raw idea, I need help on some of the technical details…The city within the support dome sort of like Neo-Tokyo
The motorcycles sort of look like the ones in Akira)

Please do not post character sheets here, I will create a ooc board if I have the interest and full story.

(As far as a plot goes...I have an idea that there will be one 'rebel type' of gang going against the mafia and trying make things different in the RDL)

I really like the idea, but does it just have to be motorcycles?

Well that was the orginal idea, however I may add other types of vehicals too, yet I didn't want to go for a Speedracer kind of idea

All I can see of my character is that he's extremely oldschool or a gearhead. XD

I understood that. I have some ideas, but nothing is fully formed enough for me to suggest yet.

Hmmm....interesting....would something like Cloud's bike in Advent Children be too far fetched? You know, like swords hidden in the side or something?

Sounds interesting. I'll probably post a bio if you get an OOC up and running. I've been waiting for a classic '80's version of a future city idea. Neo cities are so cool....

I'll admit, this looks interesting. I'm not a huge fan of the whole motorcycle thing, but I love the future city bit (Cyberpunk FTW!). I'll keep an eye on this one, I'm very intrigued to hear more...
