When I'm gone they'll just find another monster. They have to justify their wages.

1914, West Elizabeth.

Settlement in the West was almost completed. The Government had become even more corrupt and was tightening their grip on old gang members and posses. Jack Marston, a gang members boy, who wanted to become an author, had fallen into the depth of his fathers gang life. But not because of greed; because of a brewing hate for the U.S. Bureaucrats and their greedy, thieving ways.

1906, West Elizabeth

His father had fallen in love with Abigail, a whore common to the Van Der Linde gang. When being injured and left to die at a local bank robbery, John Marston sought the opportunity to leave the gang and settle with Abigail and their new son Jack. But in 1911, Edgar Ross, A government official, wanted to use John to track down old gang members, such as Dutch Van Der Linde, Bill Williamson, and Javier Escuella. Abigail and Jack were taken into captivity.
Finally, John had killed all the members. He had hoped to settle down again and create a ranch with his family.
Sadly, that is not what had happened.
Edgar Ross had led the U.S. Army to kill John, and had won.
But the war was far from over.

1914, West Elizabeth

The Marston gang owns Manzita Post and they're restricting train travel into the U.S. Pacific RR camp. They plan on weakening it, then taking control. The Marston name is very well known in the west and has a bounty of 10,000 U.S. currency. The ultimate objective is to gain control of Blackwater and kill all of the bureaucrats.
