So anyone here a fan of Rise Against. Like if you are talk about their music and such. Lyrics and all you know :D.

I'm surprised nobody replied. Well, Rise Against is like cookie dough, and if you don't like cookie dough? Wow, I don't even know what to think. I only started getting into them with the 'Appeal to Reason' album, and boy am I glad that I did. That entire album was sex in my ears, particularly the track 'The Dirt Whispered'.

I actually saw them a few weeks back with Bad Religion. They put on a really intense show, they are defiantly one of my favorite bands.

I'm a big fan of the music that Rise Against has been putting out for a while now. The guitars and vocals don't do anything revolutionary, but the style and the product comes together in such a smooth way that the entire thing just...works. I really like their music.

That said, I really don't care for bands that exist only to promote a political ideal. If you want to express your political ideas through music then that's fine, but you're going to lose a lot of my support.

Still, I like their music.

That was actually their lineup for their most recent tour. I saw them on their last show in Chicago. It was a crazy show. I can't remember the name of the band that opened for the two though, they weren't a really memorable band to me anyway.

I love Rise Against, ever since I first heard "Paper Wings" while playing Burnout 3: Takedown. I think they have a lot of great songs, like "Ready to Fall," "Hero of War," and "Swing Life Away."

I like RA alot I have four of their albums. Though their most recent album I didn't care for. To me they sounded too much like green day and not enough like RA.

"Appeal to Reason" got me started listening to them too and then I turned on "The Sufferer and the Witness"

Two favorite songs by them are "The Dirt Whispered" and "Survive"

I also typically don't care for bands that push their political ideas as either but they are still a very good band.

I've heard a few songs, they're good, I just haven't bothered to listen to more. I think I'll go do that now. I really like their VEVO channel. It's called "RiseAgainstVEVO." A fitting message, no?
