There is another world that lives right inside the one seen by humans. This is a world where old legends and nightmares still breathe.
The Night World

The Night World has gone through two changes in leadership since the beginning of time. The first was the switch from the rule of shifters to witches and the second to the current regime which was from the rule of witches to vampires.

Only two rules have governed the Night World:
Do not fall in love with humans

Do not reveal the Night World to the Human World

Now the rules are being broken as the vampires try to merge both worlds to enslave the human race. At the same time those of the Night World are being drawn to soulmates from the Human world. In order for the vampires to merge both worlds with humans as slaves they must find the two wild powers who controll the ancient blue flame, their strength can determine the upcoming war.


Vampires: Their only weakness is wood. If a wound is made by wood it will be the same as though the vampire were human. The wound can't heal instantly and if it cuts the throat or hits near the heart it will be fatal. The vampire's main goal is to hold power and find the wildpowers. Their side is called Dark.


Witches: Have specialties in either potions and summoning magic or fighting magic. They have increased agility and speed (though not equal to vampires). They are divided into three groups:

Those who help the vampires to find wild powers
Those who are neutral
Those who work with humans and others from the Night World to prevent enslavement and merge the worlds peacefully


Shifters: The shifters are able to take on the form of one animal which is choosen by them at the age of twelve. They help the vampires to find not only the wild powers but the two dragons which were put to sleep when the shifters fell to the witches. The dragons are the only ones who can rival the wild powers.

Few humans know of the Night World who want the worlds to live in peace together. Humans can be Old Souls, who are basically humans that die and continuosly reincarnate with memories of their old lives.


There are those in each race who wish to help the humans and live and peace. They fight together to save the human world. They call their group Dawn

Wild powers: Ayameko and I will decide who the wild powers are as the rp persists. They will be notifyed by pm and it will then be up to them to discover how to use their powers (we will help them of course with more information on the abilities of wild powers)

Romance is accepted and encouraged but let's not make it graphic.
Language is accepted but not if used crudely or too frequently
