Nicole waited, and waited. But nothing happened. Then slowly her muscles began to loosen, and become relaxed, her eyes slowly drooping then opening, then closing. Nicole's tail stopped swishing and rested on the branch, while her head dropped onto her paws. Within a few seconds she was fast asleep, but because of that she wasn't tensed on the branch, and with one last breath, her body swayed off the branch. Nicole awoken suddenly, and gave a loud yowl, her paws reaching out for the branch that was now above her, but they fell short, and suddenly her back slammed straight into a branch underneath her, knocking the breath out of her. Nicole gave a little feline squeal, as she started sliding off the branch underneath her, but quickly before she could fall to her death again, she twisted around and planted her upper body on the branch, then swung her other half onto the branch. Her claws digging deep into the branch, her bright golden fur bristled and stood straight up. Nicole slowly crawled to the other side of the branch, where it got wider next to the trunk of the tree.
She sat on her haunches and began grooming herself, her back screamed in agony. Really Nicole, really? Goodness how mentally retarded can someone get. Nicole's gleaming amber eyes suddenly caught sight of two things, far off she could kinda see the frame of a human-looking type of person. Human or not she didn't know. And then to the other side of her, a little ways away, she saw a black shape dashing through the grass. It was big, and she knew it was an animal, but what kind of animal she had no idea. Both of these intrigued her, and when she was done grooming herself she began jumping down the tree, until she safely reached the forest floor. With that she debated on which way to go. Finally she decided to move towards the group of people, who she had been watching for some-time now. Though her spirit urged her towards the black object, for a fight, she decided against it, and her curiousity pushed her closer and closer to the people. She decided to stay in her animal form, since she was faster, and then crept behind them. She stopped, and sat back on her haunches, waiting for someone to turn around and notice her.
