The Blacke Family is a pure blood vampire family, who are known for their beauty, elegance, and of course their amazing Masquerade Balls. Well, it's that time of year again as they plan the yearly Bloody Masquerade Ball, when mortals are invited and it turns from a night of dancing into a night of feasting and screams that aren't heard from the secluded mansion out in the middle of the woods. This Ball is even more special though, for four special chosen mortals will be left standing and shall be the new fledglings of the four royal Blacke Children, one for each.

But to be left standing is going to take survival and courage and wits. The mansion will be locked, and those who try to escape will become trapped once the blood frenzy starts. Each Blacke will go around, searching for the mortal they want and keep an eye on them throughout the entire bloody masquerade as the noble guests of the Blacke Family feed on the other mortals brought into their large manor.

But will this night of dancing that turns into a night of feasting, have love bloom within the blood and the danger? Will hate arise between vampires or mortals? Will friendship unite as these mortals struggle to stay alive?

[Be aware, this is when candles were used for light and corsets were worn daily. It's the 1800's, the Victorian ages. So no electronics or anything.]
