Introduction
The world of Ithia a place commonly filled with war and conflict. Many kingdoms fight against one another all for a chance to tip the scales in their favor. It is here that Axandra a Kingdom upon the fringes of the massive Dwar’Vic mountain range puts forth the only chance of peace they can think of. A ball to wed off their daughter as to combine their kingdom with another to create one dominate power to keep peace in a land of war.
Though this ploy may seem to have no faults to Axandra’s current rulers, forcing their daughter to act as a tool seems not to bother them at all. They’ve even been so bold as to invite those of other races… which many citizens see as an outrage of common ethics. Though of all the things going on… who might foil the plots of one individual lord. One entity that has taken this invitation to use as a ploy… instead of peace he plots conquest.

As Tiat's sword was flung to the ground, not crushing his fingers as he wore a gauntlet but putting them under pressure, he let go of the sword and as he was flung into the wall by the kick he got up again and made a sign for surrender.
"Ok, ok... before one of us ingures one another..." he walked over and grabbed his sword, sheathing it and then looking at James again, smiling underneath the helmet he wore "i am honourable but not as trained as i should be... i would like to ask wherether a person like yourself could give me a bit f a refreser course on fighting..." it had been some years since Tiat had been home and he hadn't even finished traing when he left, the reason why he wasn't very good.

Atton blinked, a bit taken aback by the gnome's quick sentences, but he got the gist of it. He smiled and nodded, "Thank you. Now if you excuse me."
"Where do you think you're going?" Master Kato asked sharply.
"I'm going to take a walk around the castle. I hate being cooped up in this room," he said dismissively as he exited the room. The elf sighed.
"He has that look in his eye. Of all the princes to be saddled with, why do I get the wild one?" he asked himself.

“I guess I could show you some techniques. It would prove better to know our men knew the finer points of the art. After all how can we know our princess is safe if a washed up dragon hunter managed to beat him.” He said with a smirk. “Even if his honor does rival the heavens.” He sheathed his blade. “Get some sleep you’ll need to be ready before dinner in six hours.”
The Gnome watched. “Well… by my calculations at your age and race combined with the racial prejudices and xenophobia would make it pretty high. As most bipedal evolved primates tend to rely on others of their same low level of evolution thus they wish to protect their good offspring from foreign influence while the rotten ones are often left with who ever is willing to train them. Tiat smiled "Yes..." he bowed slightly "thank you sensei" he walked off and ended up in his room. It was plain and almost empty but it was Tiat's home, as was the castle. He smiled and walked over to his bed, prefering to sleep in his armour incase something happened. His regulated hisbreathing and soon was alsleep.

~Lillith Xethy~
She found the woman friendly, charming and somewhat without prejudice. There seemed to be no formalities, something that Lillith never came across much. It was rather refreshing to her. Returning her smile she watched the woman paint a beautiful scene, just like out of a book. It seemed so idyllic, it would have been a great escape if she could just hide away into the piece of art. It was a welcomed change to the princess, it may have been strange to outsiders but she enjoyed the simple things in life. Exhaling a deep sitting sigh, she looked back up at the ceiling, the ornate paintings up above and the heavy marble pillars. This ball room was everything she, Lillith, wasn't.

"Ilanna" she said simply. She didn't go by her true name on the street so it was fine. She noticed the princess looking around. Ilanna kind of felt bad for her, she was being sold off like cattle, Ilanna couldn't imagine bedding a man that she didn't love. She shook her head and hid her disgust. She put down her brush and sat up, stretching a little. She stood up and looked down critiquing her painting.

"Yes... That does make sense," Master Kato sighed, "I should have tutored that White Elf prince."
Of course, he didn't really mean this. Prince Atton exasperated him sometimes, well, most of the time, but to tell the truth, he'd be a lot more bored without the young human stirring things up and coming into conflict because of his strange nature.

Atton, for his part, yawned and stretched as he walked through the halls of the castle. It was beautiful, he had to admit that. Still, it seemed so lonely, a bit like a prison. Of course, he always equated castles with prisons. It was out in ride open spaces or in the hustle and bustle of towns, with the danger, the exotic substances, the pretty women, and the interesting people that he felt truly at home.
He grinned slightly when he saw a couple of woman in a great hall, one knitting a tapestry as the other watched. Both were pretty and had yet to meet his acquaintance. He might as well ask them where he might be able to slip out of the castle for a few hours.
"So, anything in particular you're weaving in there? Because I got a few ideas. Would liven it up a bit if there was an faun and a nymph dancing the Remmingold," he said cheerfully.

Satyrs are bad examples for fine young ladies, I mean, the represent lust, passion, fertility, and virility, all very bad things for young unmarried ladies”. Ilanna’s tone was playful, she had always dreamed of meeting different creatures, mostly because she was a young curious girl, but noble men had a set idea about how royal ladies should act, which made Ilanna so thankful she was not born a noble.

Lillith had become quite accustomed to the sound of her home, the castle made all kinds of echoes and noises, so she wasn't very surprised when Prince Atton had made his entrance. Only moments earlier she had heard someones unfamiliar steps, closing in on them. A little anxious, she had been sitting there, watching the Artisan do her work. Until his cheery voice cracked the silence,

Nevertheless, it had been drilled into her head from a very young age, she couldn't help.
She gave him a quick curtsy, "I do agree with her, the King might just have a heart attack, seeing such a painting." Taking a small step away from the prince and the Artisan, Lillith couldn't help her curious nature, "And what are thou doing here? Have thee gotten lost?", asking him quite amused.

“I would have to agree… such things are definitely not suited for a future queen.” The voice was like silk and thunder made one… powerful yet smooth. It echoed off the high walls, as did the footsteps of steel tipped leather boots. A tall strongly built man stepped into the room with a certain divine elegance and stature. A halo of thorns was tattooed around his forehead which lead beneath his black hair finely trimmed not to hide any of his sharp and refined facial features. “The Dove would prove a better choice… peace… purity… love… these are what makes a princess… peace in action… purity in life… and love of nation.” He closed his eyes momentarily. “Good evening madams.” He said with a bow to Lillith and Ilanna “I am Lord Zakia high inquisitor and keeper of the peace within my humble land of Bel’Thras, his two female escorts following shortly behind him. “Might either of you direct me towards the kitchen… I believe dinner should be starting soon and I was told everything would be explained then.”

Ilanna just shrugged, ‘I eat in the city”. She didn’t get up a bow to the noble, she didn’t really care, and as an artisan, it didn’t really matter. He looked at the man. Sure, he was charming, and Ilanna could see beneath his charisma that he was a true bad boy, but he was the dangerous type, the type that little girls were never seen or heard from again, so her moment of examining him, was only brief. She picked up her paintbrush and laid on her stomach, focusing on a detailed portion of the tapestry.

"Such a pity. Wouldn't want to give the king a heart-attack. Master Kato would have my head," Atton commented, smiling slightly over at the Princess, giving her a nod in respect. He had to suppress a sigh, however, as the other suitor approached, spewing such courtly nonsense that he heard too much of at courtly functions back home.
"I'm just looking around, Princess. I'm not the type to sit in my rooms, complaining about ungrateful peasants," he told Lilith with a grin before turning to Zakia and giving him a quick bow.
"I am Prince Atton of Valorum. Can't say I have a particular job in my kingdom, but I do have rather brilliant ideas. For example, I wouldn't presume to suggest a dove as a sobriquet for this lady here. What if she doesn't like doves? Or maybe she gets that whole "princess duty" thing all the time? I know I do. Regardless, I think the marking of a future queen is for her to decide on her own what she would like upon this lovely tapestry, if she cares at all."

"I better retire for the moment, the grand dining hall is on this floor, just follow the corridor south from here, you won't miss it." smiling at the three of them she made her exit.

"I don't think she likes you," Atton stated jovially over at Nexia, as though he were used to conversing with people of his rank with little or no formality. Then again, he probably was. He stroked his chin. He wondered about the princess. He thought he might have amused her a little bit, but she simply stonewalled her expression. Maybe he could try to lighten things up more when it was time to eat at the feast.

Hey, I just saw your roleplay, and it seems like it could be really interesting. I have a few ideas for the princess, and I'd love to take the chance to play into a role that I would usually avoid. I'd work up a character sheet right now, but I have to be at work in less than an hour and still need to eat breakfast, and that doesn't really give me the time to create a good character. I know some people don't do reservations, but if you could, or at least hold off on your decision for the character if you get other applications until late today/tomorrow, I'd appreciate it. If not, that's cool too.

The world of Ithia a place commonly filled with war and conflict. Many kingdoms fight against one another all for a chance to tip the scales in their favor. It is here that Axandra a Kingdom upon the fringes of the massive Dwar’Vic mountain range puts forth the only chance of peace they can think of. A ball to wed off their daughter as to combine their kingdom with another to create one dominate power to keep peace in a land of war.
Though this ploy may seem to have no faults to Axandra’s current rulers, forcing their daughter to act as a tool seems not to bother them at all. They’ve even been so bold as to invite those of other races… which many citizens see as an outrage of common ethics.
