Description:
Dani is a petite woman, with slender arms and legs and a small waist. She stands at 5'3", despite her age, and she is constantly carded in the clubs. She has a young baby-face, and a Cheshire grin. Dani takes very good care of herself, keeping in shape by running every morning and dancing every night. Her hair is such a dark brown it looks like an onyx black, and accents her doe brown eyes. She maintains a high level of personal hygiene, which stems from her set workout routine. Dani's skin is the typical fair in complexion, being that it is pale compared to the beautiful women of Italy and Spain. Her petite frame makes her look fragile, which isn't entirely far from the truth. Dani struggles to lift anything over 50 pounds, since she only weights 115. Regarding clothing, Dani prefers to wear loose tops and high waist shorts. Her favorite type of shoe is flats, and she has an obsession with feathers and hanging jewelry.

For Better Or For Worse

Personality:
Dani is an artist, through and through. She can be incredibly quirky and funny, and very moody. Dani is the type of girl who tries to fit in, because she never really has, and it sort of works for her. People just seem to like her. She has an easy charm about her, when she isn't in a mood. She loves astrology and believes in her zodiac, which says that she is a free-spirited and hot-headed Sagittarius. Dani is incredibly optimistic, despite certain situations in her life or the lives of her friends. She's always trying to find a way to brighten the world around her, either through her artwork or through a passing wave on the street. Dani is also very restless. She feels as if she is stuck in the same routine day in and day out. Sleep, school, work, party- repeat. As they weeks pass on, Dani has started to find it harder and harder to keep up with her friends. Dani could also be described as enthusiastic and adventurous. These traits are probably what keeps her in her friend's circle, because despite wanting to build a better life for herself; her curiosity gets the best of her sometimes. Above everything else, Dani is incredibly honest, to her fault. She doesn't mean to be, but often she is overly blunt and that can make her come off as a bitch sometimes. Being blunt goes hand in hand with the fact that she is also very outspoken. Dani is one to give you her opinion, honestly, even if you didn't ask her for it. Throughout her life Dani has always been very independent, but lately she has started to feel like it would be nice to have someone to lean on for once.

Around her best friends she is the quiet one in the group, despite her general personality. Before her friends she was a bit of a loner so she developed a 'hard candy shell'. Her friends certainly bring the quiet, shy side of her out. After all, she's the only brunette in a group of gorgeous blondes. Dani does tend to take the backseat when it comes to her best friends, but when it comes to strangers she is forward and dominate. It takes a lot for her to let her wall down and let someone else take the lead. Art is her life, but Dani loves The Girls like they were her long-lost sisters. She would do anything for the Sisterhood, including putting off her dream of art school to run around the world with them.

Looking Back At The Years...

Biography

Birthday:
November 23rd. ♐

History:
Dani grew up in a middle class family, with a single father who supported her artistic habits wholeheartedly. Dani's mother passed away when she was eight of breast caner. Dani, mature for her age, understood that her mother would not be coming home with them from the hospital. On her death bed, her mother had told her to keep singing, and painting, and to watch over her father. Dani had done two of the things asked of her, but she had not sang for anyone aside from her shower head since the passing of her mother. Something inside the little girl died with her mom, something that choked the voice inside of her whenever anyone was around. Giving up on her singing dream, Danielle decided that she would focus everything she had into her artistic talents. By the time she was ready for University, they had already applied to every art school in the country, and some over in England, Spain, Italy, and France. She is currently attending a prestigious art school in her junior year, or was until the gang hit it rich and talked her into the trip around the world. Dani had always dreamed of traveling abroad her senior year, to broaden her artistic horizons, but she was scared to leave her father. That's one wonderful thing about the Sisterhood. They are always there for her, pushing her forward and encouraging her to chase her dreams.

Dani lives in a one bedroom apartment near the heart of a city, where she goes to school and works as a bartender at a high end night club. Her father lives close by in their family home, which Dani stands as an only child to inherit. Dani has a pure bred dalmatian named Shane, who is her pride and joy. When she is not being drug out by friends, going to school, working or painting, she is spending quality time with Shane at the park. Shane is Dani's running partner for her morning jogs, and companion of choice. A week ago a breeder contacted her about breeding Shane, which got her thinking about children, and how she was already twenty-two. Suddenly, she's began to feel as though the life she has, isn't the one she's been wanting after all. After multiple failed blind-dates, set ups, and Facebook disasters, Danielle is ready to give up on love before she's even given it a real chance. Worse, she'd grown so far from her honorary sisters and she missed them terribly. Winning the lottery was her chance at a fresh start, to get out of the rut she had been stuck in both emotionally and financially.

Winning The Lottery

Other/Misc:

With the money I will... [How does your character want to use the money she won?]
After she was able to overcome the initial shock of becoming a billionaire, Dani decided that she wanted to continue her dream of art school; only now she wouldn't be thousands of dollars in debt. She also plans to finish paying off her father's house, and donating a thousand dollars to her old high school's art program. Other than that, she hasn't really made any plans. She agreed to go on the trip with the rest of the girls, but she does not want to blow all of her money.

As soon as Emily opened her eyes, she pinched herself again trying to figure out if she had dreamed everything that had happened to her for the last month. She remembered getting up early and, as always, getting ready for school doing her regular morning routine when she had exams. She tried being quiet as her roommate was still asleep, while looking for something to wear, she decided to dress comfortably, instead of heels some flats. She bought herself a coffee from Starbucks and she bought a doughnut at the cafeteria that she worked in. She had already memorized the whole content but she couldn't be at ease, not if she wanted to keep up with her scholarship, so instead she kept studying while she waited for the test to start.

As usual, as she and her friends made the tradition, they had bought another bunch of lottery tickets. She had kept some of the tickets with her as she had been one of the first who came with the idea and even though it was impossible she thought that maybe one day they would hit it big. Of course, some of her friends were not as optimistic and considered the whole thing as their private joke, which at times Emily did too, but that didn't stop them from buying tickets. All of them had different lives, that much was obvious, and there were times where they had grown somewhat apart. Yes, it was true that their friendship would always stay strong, but that didn't mean that life had gotten in the way.

All problems seemed to disappear as Emily connected the dots, more like the numbers. She was just about to take her final on advanced physics when she decided to check the lottery numbers, as a lucky charm, she read the numbers on her telephone screen and read them out loud. One by one, the numbers matched the ones in the ticket. In shock and unable to contain herself she got up screaming like a madwoman, tears of joy overflowing and a smile that she couldn't contain. She called the girls immediately each and everyone, not willing to tell them on the phone as maybe they wouldn't believed her, though she would never lie especially not about something as important. At the end she told the girls, still in tears, still hoping that their promise of traveling around the world remained intact as when they first made it.

- 1 Month Later -

Emily woke up from her daydream of what had happened just a month before and still couldn't believe that they had gone to Italy, Verona, everything was just like a dream come true. It had always been a dream of Emily's to travel somewhere else than a 3-4 hours drive from home, and now that she was here she only wished that she and her sister would have won the lottery sooner. "We are really here!" she said excitedly to the girls with a big smile. They had just gotten out of the cab as they arrived to the hotel, "La Rosa sul fiume Hotel". In one of the cabs there was Mike, Marcus, Christy & Maggie, while Emily, Danielle, Ashlyn & Jayson had taken another cab. They had all agreed to meet up at the hotel to leave all their luggage and then eat something, but neither the guys or the remaining girls were nowhere to be found.

"Where are u?! We're already at the hotel" Emily texted Mike before she turned her eyes away to see the hotel once again. The pictures of the hotel on her cellphone did not even by the slightest compared to what she could see, everywhere she turned her eyes there was a lot of green from the garden to the beautiful flowers that surrounded everywhere she turned her eyes to, it all seemed very... 'romantic' on Emily's eyes.

Image

Marcus tagged along when Mike invited him to Italy, he had saved enough money as he planned to buy a new car but at the end going on a trip seemed much better. Besides, he was comfortable around with most of the girls, he knew Emily well through Mike, and he had talked a couple times with Christine. He had just finished a photo shoot and the new movie project he had would not start until months later so he had free time. He had barely told his parents about his plans on leaving for Italy on vacations when he left with Mike and the girls, after all he didn't want to bring his younger sister and didn't want them to worry themselves unnecessarily.

Marcus didn't say a word on the way to the hotel, he kept starring outside his window out in the city. 'so this is where she lived?' he wondered remembering his mother. It wasn't until he noticed that they had already taken more than fifty minutes on the cab, being the cautious person that he was he knew before they had arrived that the hotel was no longer than 30 minutes from the airport. They were all crammed up in the cab, and he was sitting too close next to Christy, Maggie on her left, and Mike was at the other side of the door. He didn't say anything, so instead he talked to the cab driver.

He made a cough-like-noise trying to make himself noticed, "Excuse me? Are you sure this is the way to the hotel?" but the man kept on driving ignoring his every words or simply not understanding a thing he was saying. "si" the man said in Italian with a whole bunch of words that Marcus did not seem to understand whatsoever."La Rosa sul fiume? Marcus asked again, the man smiled and kept on driving. Everyone unaware for the moment that the cab driver was driving the longest way in an attempt to charge them more.

Jayson remembered the day as if it happened just moments ago. She had been up all night the night before and decided to stay home for the day. She was about to indulge in a habit she'd rather not speak of when suddenly her phone buzzed signalling a phone call from one of her friends (more like sisters) and when she had picked it up she heard the sobbing voice of Emily, unsure of why she was crying Jayson had agreed to meet her up later. When all the girls had met up never in Jayson's wildest dreams would she had guessed that they won the lottery. Jayson didn't cry. Even if it was for tears of joy she wouldn't allow herself to cry. Instead she burst out yelling like a madwoman in shock, excitement, and joy. For once in her life she didn't feel worried about the constant problems plaguing her or her horrible habit but she was utterly joyful and was happy to be alive. She of course agreed on travelling the world with her sisters like they had promised and their first stop was where her family originated , Italy.

Now a month later Jayson is still wondering why it is she's still so surprised. The new and young billionaire was stairing out the window of the taxi she was in with a few others. She took the seat next to the window on purpose to see what it was like in this beautiful, exotic country. It was nothing like where she and the sisterhood lived. Though she loved home she loved Italy as well. She heard Emily excliam their arrival and that's when it actually hit her. She was in another country and she along with the rest of the sisterhood were now rich. It was so new to her but she wouldn't let that get the best of her. Right now she looked forward to dropping her luggage off and enjoying in some of her favorite food which was italian.

She was excited to be in Italy. She was also thinking of what was in store for all of them. Everything happens for a reason but she was hoping that this wasn't a dream and to make sure it wasn't a little while before she had pinched herself. Once the pain hit she was reassured it wasn't a dream. It was the new and beautiful reality. One she was glad to be living in instead of the world of slumber. She was rich as were the rest of the girls but Jayson would make sure to never let it go to her head.

"I'm never going to get this done with you breathing over my shoulder like that," Danielle sighed, grinning to herself. Melanie rolled her eyes and took a step back from the dark haired girl. The painting was coming along beautifully. After a few minutes Dani glanced to the picture beside her, checking the proportions of her painting to the photograph of Melanie on her wedding day. It was turning out nicely, and she was nearly finished... just a couple more strokes around... "Done," she announced, smirking as she stood from her canvas and placed her hands on her hips. Melanie rushed over, eager to see the finished product. It was outstanding. "You're a miracle worker," Mel breathed, in awe of the artistic talent. Danielle laughed a bit, brushing off the compliment. Melanie dug through her purse to give Dani the agreed upon eighty dollars as Danielle walked over and picked up her phone to keep it from vibrating off the counter in her apartment. "Em! Hello, my darling, how are you?" she sang into the phone, pleasantly surprised to hear Emily's soft voice on the other end of the line. "... yeah, just let me finish up here, okay?" Melanie glanced up from her wallet, glancing over at Danielle with a raised eyebrow. Dani offered her client a smile, accepted the money and rushed her out of the door. She hadn't seem Emily in forever, and it would take her a while to get up with everyone.

Later that day

"SHUT UP! Vous devez me badiner! Oh mon Dieu! C'est Ă©tonnant! Merde sainte! Emily! Êtes vous-- naturellement vous ĂȘtes sĂ©rieux! L'OH MON DIEU!" Her squeals continued to raise in decibel as she began to jump up and down excitedly. When asked if she was still in on traveling the world, her excited answer was;"Of course I'm still in! YES! Oh mon Dieu!" Danielle collapsed onto her chair, ignoring the looks the people around them were giving her. Her cheeks were literally aching from grinning so much. After the meeting with the girls Danielle drove back home in a slow daze. She'd have to get her father to watch Shane, but other than that she didn't have too much tying her down. Her school would understand; she'd spin it to be an educational opportunity to broaden her artistic horizon. When she got back home she made a b-line for her computer, where she pulled up an e-mail to Augustus explaining everything that had happened that day, expressing her joy, her disbelief, and her excitement. She asked in the e-mail for him to meet up with her while she was in the country, and expressed how amazing it would be to see him. At the end of her lengthy e-mail she added;

See you soon. X's and O's!

Present day

Danielle carefully carted around the busy hotel lobby, having just gotten back from the small cafe across the street. It seemed as though the other cab had taken the long way because the rest of the gang had yet to arrive. As she walked up, Emily was just finishing a text message. "Any word? Her phone didn't work now that she was in Italy and it was more than a little annoying. She made a mental note to buy her an international phone card so that she could turn hers back on without the fear of a dollar per text message charge. The thought made her pause, and giggle a little to herself. "Here I am, worried about a dollar per text message, and I just experienced highway robbery for this cup of coffee," she had to laugh at herself as she offered Emily the red coffee cup in her hand.

That's when she saw it. She was casually reaching over to hand her best friend a drink when her eyes slowly drifted to the right, catching sight of a well-placed magazine stand in the hotel lobby. And what did she see? The Italian version of GQ... and who, of all people, were on the cover? None other than her long-time pen pal and compulsive liar; Augustus. The tray she held in her other hand, which held her coffee and scone, slowly tumbled to the ground as she stood in shocked horror. A flashback memory of an e-mail Augustus had sent her describing his day on the set of a photo shoot kept her frozen in time. She had laughed it off then, as she sat in her apartment reading over the e-mail. A model; pfft, yeah. Right! But there he stood, looking like that, on the cover of a magazine, shirtless. Fat women everywhere would be running to lick melted butter off those abs. The thought was enough to jolt her back into reality-- the reality where her very expensive coffee was running across the floor of the grand hotel lobby. "Shit," she hissed, bending to clean up her disaster.

As she knelt, she couldn't help but feel numb all over. If he wasn't lying about that, what else was he telling the truth about? She rescued her scone from the lava of escaping coffee and scooped up her half empty cup. The lid had done a poor job of holding back the contents, but it had managed to preserve some. "I'm so sorry," she gushed, apologizing to the wait staff of the hotel that had rushed over to help clean up the slippery hazard. "Well, there goes my snack," she sighed, holding up the dripping paper bag that held her now soppy bread. She sighed, walking over to a near by bin and tossing the bag away, deciding to hold onto the coffee for a bit longer. Their bags had already been whisked away to their hotel room, which was no doubt lovely but Emily has insisted they wait for everyone to arrive before going up. "How's the coffee, Em?" Her smile was back. What was a bit of spilled goods when you were a billionaire on holiday with your best friends? Nothing. She turned her gaze to Jay and Ash, " Anyone heard from the others?"

[Ooc: Danielle's French-to-English translation on her freakout = " You have got to be kidding me! Oh my God! That is amazing! Holy shit! Emily! Are you-- of course you are serious! OH MY GOD!" ]

Emily was still waiting for Mike's text when Dani asked, "any word?", to which Emily shook her head. Suddenly Dani giggled, "Here I am, worried about a dollar per text message, and I just experienced highway robbery for this cup of coffee", Emily laughed too as she was still too shocked about being a billionaire, she grabbed the coffee with a smile. She took a sip into the delicious coffee and felt ever grateful that her best friend knew exactly how she liked her coffee, deliciously & ridiculously sweet. She was about to say something when she noticed her starring at something, she was starring directly at a magazine stand, but more specifically at a cover in which an incredibly handsome Italian guy was the main focus. Suddenly Dani dropped the tray with her coffee and it fell to the ground. Emily knew something was off with her best friend but before she asked her anything she helped cleaning up some of the mess, suddenly some of the staff came quickly to help too. "Thank you" Emily said to the staff quickly.

Dani threw away whatever was left of her recently bought coffee and bread. When she came back she asked "How's the coffee, Em?", Emily smiled and let out a small smile, "It's the best I''ve had in a long time, but what was that all about?" she asked remembering how she had ogled the guy from the magazine. Before she said anything she asked the other girls if they had any news from the girls or the guys. But before they could say anything Emily's phone started ringing, she answered in the seconf time it rang seeing that the one who was calling now was Marcus, "Hello?" she fell silent for a moment as Marcus spoke to her in the phone. "Why? Wait, what happened...?" she asked but there was no answer, Marcus had already hanged up and the last thing she heard was the sound of and angry crowd and a loud traffic. She let out a sigh and turned her eyes to the girls. "It was Marcus, he said that we shouldn't wait for them and that they'll meet us later". In truth she was worried, but she didn't want to worry the girls more than she had to. "We should probably go ahead without them, he said they'll catch up to us" Emily said to the girls looking at everyone.

The rooms were almost all full and there were only standard double rooms left. Emily was obviously teaming up with Danielle, meanwhile Jayson with Ashlyn, Christy with Maggie, Marcus with Mike. All of the rooms were right next to each other. Finally, Emily told the girls, "I think we should go check our rooms first, besides I could really use a shower right now" she said with a smile, she starred at Dani seeing if she was going with her, seeing that they were on the same room. She also looked at Jayson and at Ashlyn seeing what they wanted to do.

As he walked past the lobby, Luca noticed some girls standing around; so he quickly made his way over - Guests would never come back here again if they weren't seen to as soon as possible but before he could get close enough, an italian boy stepped infront of him, blocking his way to the girls as he eagerly greeted them - Dammit Nikolas was all Luca could think as Nik produced a smooth, "Ciao bellas."

Rolling his eyes, Luca made his way over to the small group as Nikolas tossed a wink his way, probably hoping he'd leave them alone, yeah, like that was likely - If Nik had his way, only hot girls would be allowed to come to La Rosa sul fiume.
Stepping next to his cousin, Luca grinned "Welcome to La Rosa Sul Fiume, I'm your tour guide and this is my extremely lazy cousin who you should take no notice of." He says jokingly, trying to get his cousin to leave.

Not doing what his cousin was obviously implying Nikolas took no notice of Luca instead, "Please come with me to the front desk, my delightful cousin Alessia will give you the keys to your room and I'll show you the way, if you'd like."
Nice one Nikolas, make them think you don't care either way, eventhough they're really hot Nik thinks to himself, throwing them his most charming smile.

Luca sighs and leads the way to the his sister, reluctantly letting his cousin tag along, he makes sure to grab the guest's cases before showing them the way.

Ash remembered the day they had won big like it was only a few days ago, everything had been so ordinary, so every day. She had gotten out of bed after repeatedly snoozing her alarm a good five or six times, giving her minimal time for outfit choices and makeup, let alone breakfast. She had gone to soccer practice that morning, spent most the day at her waitressing job, yeah, not glamorous but it got the bills paid, and spent the late afternoon running training for a local basketball team she coached. It wasn't until she arrived home to hear the message Em had left on her answering machine that everything turned all topsy turvy.

Now, they were all billionaires and on a trip of a lifetime, first stop - Italy. If Ash was being honest Italy wouldn’t have been her first preference of travel locations. Which was something Ash had said to the girls, but well she wasn't one to fight a losing battle, at least not one against five anyway. Though she was even less thrilled about inviting Mike and Marcus, like yeah she'd talked to them before and got along with them alright but they were not 'let's go on a trip to Italy' close.

Emily, Danielle, Jayson and her had all been in one cab and when they finally got to the hotel, "La Rosa sul fiume Hotel", all Ash wanted to do was check in and enjoy what her. She had that grungy, dirty feeling from the plane ride, and no matter what people tried to tell you, being a billionaire did not make early mornings easier. After waking up late as usual, and unpacked, Ash was forced to forgo makeup and any real outfit planning in fear of missing her plane. Okay that was a lie, she skipped breakfast on order to spend a little bit of time on makeup, but only minimal. Hence she just really wanted to get to her room and spend some time freshening up and making herself pretty. Oh, and the grandeur of the hotel kind of fluttered into the outer rims of her consciousness at some point.

"Anyone heard from the others?" Dani asked, directing her question to Ash and Jay. "Dude, I don't have a phone. Remember?" Ash replied nonchalantly, she realised that she was the abnormal one in not having a phone, rather than Dani assuming she did. She never bothered to get one, it had never been a money thing, Ash has just always had the hatred/dislike for technology, it just isn't her favourite thing. Besides if someone actually wanted to talk to her they could leave her a message on her home phone, life like friendship shouldn't be all about efficiency.

After Em announced that the others would catch up later, Ash let out an annoyed sigh. "Really, trust those four to not even make it to hotel without any hiccups." Ashlyn was already going to take off the rooms before Em said anything, but her departure was stunted by two guys from the holiday, or at least they seemed like they were from the hotel. Either way they both seemed really friendly. "Oh, I'm Ashlyn, and these guys are Danielle, Jayson, and Emily." She said to the guys, introducing each of the other three girls one at a time, as one of them took her bag off of her.

"So what is it with this place? Are you guys are related or something?" Ash said humorously as the two guys showed them to the front desk. She couldn't not say it, after all these guys were cousins, and one of them was cousins with the girl of the front desk, how many more of them was she supposed to be expecting exactly?

Augustus’ eyes stared boldly into the camera as a smirk adorned his face. He flexed his muscles, body glistening with ocean water and skin looking tanned to perfection. It was just another photo shoot to him, but to his fans; it was Christmas. He pushed his wet hair out of his as he gave the camera another smoldering glance then bit his bottom lip for the photographer.

“Perfecto, Augusto!”(Perfect, Augustus!) the photographer urged him. “Hacer el amor con la cámara!” (Make love to the camera!)

Augustus raised a brow before chuckling lowly. He always thought that artsy people took some things too far. Picture after perfect picture and Augustus was finally finished.

“That’s a wrap!” His agent, Don nodded Augustus’ way, throwing a towel to him, which August happily accepted. “Okay, August I’ve booked you a flight to Italy for another photo shoot—it’s a Calvin Klein gig, your mother called, there is a woman in your hotel room with a bottle of wine and a thong
thought you deserved a bit of fun, but remember to be safe, and you have an interview with Italian GQ as soon as your flight lands, so be charming, adorable, and make the women swoon, buddy.”

Augustus rubbed the towel against his chest as he eyed the smaller man with a mixture of confusion, annoyance, and overall displeasure. One thing that bothered him was the fact that Don felt the need to constantly bog him down with so much information whilst speaking a mile a minute. It was difficult to keep up when his English wasn’t the best. However, he wanted to get better at the language, so hiring an American agent was a good way to get used to English.

“Slow down,”he muttered with a frown. “My mamãe called?”

“Yeah, something about you finding a woman.”

Augustus sighed, rubbing the back of his neck with the towel. Ever since he turned twenty-three, his mother and father have been urging him to bring a woman home so he could take over the kingdom, but marriage was that last thing that he wanted. Marriage was a lie. It was an illusion just like love. Love was simply glorified lust and marriage was the human’s possessive nature coming into play. “Call her back. Tell her that I will find woman when I can and to not worry.”

“Got it,” Don nodded, typing on his blackberry. “Anything else?”

Augustus thought for a minute, rubbing his chin. “That woman in my room, did you do background check?”

“Of course.”

“Occupation and education?”

His agent typed on his blackberry, “She is a pretty little swimsuit model and she didn’t go to college.”

Sneering, Augustus began to walk to his dressing room. “I want her out my room.” He entered his dressing room without another word, closing and locking the door behind him. The prince slumped into his chair, pushing wet strands of hair from his forehead as he released an exhausted sigh. He led a privileged lifestyle, but that didn’t stop him from feeling a bit suffocated. Fame and fortune was starting to take its toll on him. Just then, his cell phone beeped on his coffee table. He exhaled loudly, expecting his mother to chastise him about marriage again, but as he lifted the phone to his eyes, he was pleasantly surprised to see that his long-term pen pal had contacted him. He opened Dani’s e-mail, a small smile gracing his masculine features. As usual, her e-mail made him feel a little less lonely. It was as if he wasn’t Augustus the prince or the model or the billionaire. She didn’t care about his money, sometimes he thought that she didn’t believe him. He replied, grinning down at his cell phone as he did.

I cannot wait to see you again, Princesa! Together we will explore Italia! I see you soon xoxo
~Auggie.

PRESENT DAY

The flashing lights were aggravating as Augustus’ limo parked in front of the hotel. The paparazzi swarmed around the vehicle like angry bees. Augustus had hoped to lay low, but his agent insisted that he took the limo for the sake of his image. Much to the prince’s dismay, the vehicle seemed to attract more attention than he wanted. He was meeting Danielle today and all of this chaos was the last thing that he needed her to see. He even took hours to find an outfit that wouldn't scream: ‘HEY, I’M RICH AND I’M FLAUNTING IT!’ Taking a deep breath, Augustus placed his baseball cap on his head to hide his face then opened the door. The press surrounded him, asking a million questions about his love life, his opinion on politics, even his parents. He said nothing as he pushed pass them to the entrance. “Eu deveria demitir Don para isso,” (I should fire Don for this.) he muttered through gritted teeth. He pushed through the rotating doors until he was finally in the elegant lobby. It was quiet
that was until he heard commotion to his right. He glanced in that direction, spotting a petite dark haired girl and her blonde friend scrabbling on the floor along with a few staff members, cleaning up a mess they made. When the dark haired girl stood up, he furrowed his brows then allowed them to widen in surprise.

It was Danielle! He smiled broadly, taking off his cap and tucking it into his back pocket. Her back was to him, but he recognized that tattoo on her arm and that adorable American accent she possessed. Taking out out his cell phone, Augustus pulled up her e-mail address just as she and her friends were being escorted to the front desk.

I figured you were clumsy, Princesa. Turn round.

Danielle glanced up as Emily got off the phone. "It was Marcus, he said that we shouldn't wait for them and that they'll meet us later," she explained. "We should probably go ahead without them, he said they'll catch up to us," Emily added, glancing to everyone. Dani nodded, thankful that the mess was cleaned up and the disaster was over with. "Really, trust those four to not even make it to hotel without any hiccups," Ashlyn mumbled, already starting to walk off towards the front desk to get her room key.

"I think we should go check our rooms first, besides I could really use a shower right now" Em said with a smile, glancing to Dani, then Jayson and at Ashlyn. Danielle nodded, turning to walk towards the front desk with Emily just as a young Italian man came up from beside them."Welcome to La Rosa Sul Fiume, I'm your tour guide and this is my extremely lazy cousin who you should take no notice of," the man chirped, an exotic grin stretching from one ear to the next. He didn't mention what his name was, but he was wearing the hotel staff uniform so she shrugged it off. After all, she was rich now right? So if he did end up stealing her suitcase, at least she could replace it.

"Please come with me to the front desk, my delightful cousin Alessia will give you the keys to your room and I'll show you the way, if you'd like," he added in his sing-song voice, causing Dani to raise an eyebrow and glance to Ashlyn who was professional at catching a liar. Can't bullshit a bullshitter, they say. "Oh, I'm Ashlyn, and these guys are Danielle, Jayson, and Emily," Ashlyn responded to the guys, introducing the gang one at a time, as one of the guys took her bag off of her. Danielle smiled then, comfortable with them since Ashlyn was. Maybe it was just the way she was, being nervous around people she didn't know. As they walked towards the front desk, Ash asked with a smile, "So what is it with this place? Are you guys all related or something?"

Dani giggled as she followed behind everyone, toying with the hem of her shirt as she waited for the lovely cousin of the random Italian to give Emily their room key. It was just then that her pocket vibrated with an incoming e-mail from her iPhone. Instantly butterflies overturned her stomach. She couldn't help but smile, knowing that the only person who e-mailed her was Augustus. Her thumb slid across the screen, unlocking it and revealing one new e-mail. She nearly vibrated with excitement! She pressed the tiny white envelope with a red 1 lit up, and held her breath.

Spam. She nearly threw the device across the lobby. With a frustrated sigh, she went to shove the phone back into her pocket. Just as she did so, it vibrated again, an e-mail automatically opening since she had already been in the inbox.

I figured you were clumsy, Princesa. Turn round.

Her heart stopped, and she slowly... very, slowly, turned around.

A pillar? Confused, she took a step away from the group. There he was, in all of his golden skinned glory. She could have cried, she was so happy, and in fact-- tears did start to brim. Embarrassed, she laughed and quickly rubbed her wrist against her eyes. "Auggie!" she cried. With a laugh, she ran towards him, throwing her arms around his neck in a long over-do hug. It had been so long, so very, very long. Her heart thundered away in her chest, unable to suppress it's joy. He was here! He was real! He was really here! Her laughed bubbled down into giggles as she released him and looked him over. "You have perfect timing, we just got here! Do you have time to meet my frien-" she stopped talking, glancing behind him at the men in suits that were shoving the paparazzi back out of the doors of the hotel. She glanced to him, unsure what to say. "Are they always like that?" It seemed a safe thing to say, much better than her initial reaction of holy-shit-he-was-telling-the-truth-he's-really-a-prince-and-hes-been-talking-to-me-oh-my-god-I'm-an-idiot!

After a few moments of blinking, and accepting that all of his 'lies' were actually true, she put on a smile and offered a little, shy laugh. "Meet my friends," she said, gently taking his hand and leading him over to the front desk where the beautiful Italian behind the desk was handing over the keys to Emily. "Everyone, this is Augustus... my friend from high school, the guy I met on my senior trip.. We've, ah... we've kept in contact all these years! Crazy, huh? Heh. Um, Auggie, this is the girls. Well, most of them. We lost a few on the ride over, but Marcus swears they're safe. Emily, Ashlyn, and Jayson." She allowed for a small pause before turning to him, secretly toying with the hem of her shirt nervously, "Are you staying here, too?"

Augustus watched Dani, spotting the excitement overflow in her features as she saw him. A broad smile was on his face, for he felt just as giddy as she did. It has been years since they last seen one another in person and he was itching to gather her in his arms and embrace her like there was no tomorrow. She obviously felt the same as she made a beeline for him. He opened his arms wide and enclosed her in a warm bear hug. She was so soft and inviting, just as he remembered.

You have perfect timing, we just got here! Do you have time to meet my frien-" he looked down at her, following her brown gaze to the entrance. He sighed, shaking his head as his bodyguards pushed back the paparazzi and hovered behind him, watching him and Dani like a hawk. This was the last thing she needed to see. "Are they always like that?"

"Unfortunately," Augustus said, looking down at her. A slow smirk settled onto his face. "I plan to...how do Americans say? Ditch them, no?" He flashed a smile her way, still holding her to him. "I'm happy to see you, Princesa." There was a pause as he held her, it was as if she was trying to figure something out. He furrowed his brows, opening him mouth to ask what she was thinking about, but she spoke before he could.

"Meet my friends," she said, her fingers intertwining with his as she pulled him to the group of people by the front desk. He said nothing as he looked back at his bodyguards, giving them a shrug and a playful grin as he followed Dani. They remained straight faced, but Augustus could tell that they were slightly amused.

Emily, Ashlyn, and Jayson."

Augustus gave the women his most charming smile before giving all three of them kisses on their cheeks. "OlĂĄ," he said. "Ihear great things about you all from Princesa."

"Are you staying here, too?" Augustus twirled a strand of her onyx hair around his finger, absentmindedly. He loved touching long hair. "I am," he smiled as he played with her dark locks. "I have photo shoot tomorrow and interview with GQ then I'm all yours for the day.

Emily was waiting to hear her friend's plans when Ashlyn said, "Really, trust those four to not even make it to hotel without any hiccups.". She laughed at her comment, they would make a dynamic team and the thought made her laugh. She knew they could handle themselves and remembered that Christy had a really good Italian were they to get in trouble or lost, so she felt somewhat more at ease, still she couldn't help but to be worried. She then walked with Ashlyn to the front desk for the room keys when an Italian man said "Ciao bellas." Emily turned around to see where the voice had come from, she noticed a handsome Italian guy who winced his eyes, before she had any time to react to his charms, she saw someone else approaching, "Welcome to La Rosa Sul Fiume, I'm your tour guide and this is my extremely lazy cousin who you should take no notice of." Emily was a bit surprised, but smiled lightly nonetheless at his comment.

"Please come with me to the front desk, my delightful cousin Alessia will give you the keys to your room and I'll show you the way, if you'd like." said the cousin. Emily turned around to see Dani and to see what she was thinking when she saw her raise an eyebrow, 'not a good sign..." she thought for a bit, but still her friendly nature made her smile to both unexpected guys.Emily was about to introduce herself and the girls when Ashlyn beat her to it. "Oh, I'm Ashlyn, and these guys are Danielle, Jayson, and Emily," she said introducing each and everyone in their little group. Soon after they took their bags, Emily handed hers hesitant after seeing them carry Dani's and Ashlyn's but at the end she handed it, "thank you" she finally said politely with a smile. As soon as they reached the front desk Ashlyn asked, "So what is it with this place? Are you guys all related or something?" Emily kept quiet waiting for anyone to answer Ash question and soon after she waited for either of the charming cousins to hand her the room keys.

Soon after she heard Dani's phone send a text alarm, she eyed at her friend who now seemed to be overjoyed and asked a bit concerned, "Dani...?" but her best friend was over the clouds. She saw her turning around yelling "Auggie!" she then saw her running up to a guy that strangely seemed familiar, 'wait... is that... the guy from the megazine?' she asked herself having a good memory, and because he did not have a face that was particularly easy to forget about. A bit embarrassed at the heartwarming scene she turned back to face Ashlyn and Jayce and the charming cousins. Without noticing, Dani turned back to them and introduced them, "Meet my friends" she said. Emily turned around and starred at Dani's friend. Dani introduced him as August and for a moment the name rang a bell. Dani had mentioned him before on high school but she didn't know that they had been in contact all that time. Dani then introduced them again and Emily smiled at the friendly foreigner.

Emily was most surprised when he kissed her cheek, "OlĂĄ" he said. "Thear great things about you all from Princesa." he said with an accent to which Emily couldn't help but to smile. He then told Dani that he was also staying on the same hotel and about his plans on the next day. Emily elbowed softly to Dani, and she gave her a stare that said 'I know what's going on here' followed by a smirk, of course, when nobody was looking especially not August.

It was then when Emily's stomach growled letting out a loud noise. She buried her head in embarrassment before she turned her head to the girls again, "does eating something sound bad to any of you?, she knew that the foreigners would surely know about a place so she turned around to ask them. When she was about too though, she noticed the large crowd outside the hotel. She remembered that back in home that would happen with Marcus, of course she did not expect his popularity to be so great even here in Italy. Then, she obviously noticed that they were not here for Marcus but for Dani's friend, August. Obviously they would not be able to eat anything outside with the crowd looking like that so before they could suggest anything and maybe get killed by an Italian crowd she suggested, "maybe somewhere inside the hotel?" she asked the guy that had said he was the tour guide and then turned to the counter eyeing to Alessia.

Danielle could barely take his eyes off of him. He was real. He was really real. Her mind was still reeling, and Emily must have noticed because that's when she perked up and began to speak. "Does eating something sound bad to any of you?, maybe somewhere inside the hotel?" Dani glanced around Augustus to take note of the crowd outside and smiled a little a she turned back to Emily. "That sounds like a great idea," she sighed, nodding, "yes." After a brief pause, of looking anywhere but at August, she had an idea. "Oh! Isn't there a restaurant on the second floor? The one you showed me when we first looked here, with the balcony? That, uh.. That would be nice, huh? Want to, um, eat there?" Her random burst of outgoing leadership blew a flat tire and slowly rumbled to a halt on the side of Why-Did-I-Speak-Up lane.

A hot blush bloomed in her cheeks and she scratched at the back of her neck nervously. She was just about to say something else when she noticed a tug at her hand. It was quick, and harsh, and enough to draw her attention downward. "My bag!" she gasped. Sure enough, a small, dirty Italian boy had snagged the suitcase she had been loosely holding onto and was bolting out of the side doors and into the street. Fast as lightning- she had never seen a kid move so fast. What were they feeding these children? After a moment of shock, she ran after the boy to the door, trying to see him through the throng of people in the side alley. "What am I going to do without my bag? My art supplies..." Leave it to Danielle to be more worried about her art supplies than all her favorite clothes and necessities. She felt helpless. She had never actually been robbed before, and certainly not by a child.

Augustus was completely oblivious to the look in Dani's eyes as she beheld him, he was in fact, too distracted by her black tendrils, finding them soft and entertaining as he twirled them around his index finger, absentmindedly. He glanced at Emily as she spoke, nodding as a response. He turned his attention to the crowd that were trying in vain to snap a picture of him and the bodyguards that were manning the doors. He sighed, This is going to be a long day, he thought before letting his gaze rake over Dani. It felt like forever since the last time they were able to physically see one another. The most they did was talk through webcams, but it was refreshing to witness that smile in person. He stopped twirling her hair just as her bag was snatched.

He followed her as she ran after the street rat, but unfortunately they weren't fast enough. He shot a look over to one of his bodyguards. The bigger man nodded, already knowing what Augustus wanted him to do. He ran to the limo, following the thief. August looked back at Dani, placing a hand on her shoulder and an apologetic smile. "Bruno will get your bag back, Princesa. Do not fret." He gestured to the hotel, eyes darting from the paparazzi to the entrance. They were beginning to crowd them again, "We go back into hotel, now?" There was a bright flash that blinded him for a minute and he shielded his eyes as a pack of Italian reporters pushed Dani aside and rapidly asked him questions. "Dani?" He reached for her, barely getting a grip on her arm, "We go inside now," he said as he ushered her in, combing through the flashing lights and slur of voices. "I hate when that happens. Expect to be in the tabloids, Princesa. They might think that you're my actual princess."

"Auggie!" Ash heard Dani yell out from somewhere behind, and so she reluctantly turned around to investigate. Though her face twisted into a perplexed frown as she saw Dani hugging some guy, as far as she was concerned Dani hadn’t mentioned meeting up with anyone while in France.

Though she didn’t have to stand around confused for ages fortunately because soon Dani was bringing him over to the group, “Meet my friends." Ash gave the guy a mock salute as she was introduced along with others, though she was still waiting to find out why it was Dani who already had a cute Italian hanging off her arm. Then he went and called her Princessa, which even not knowing any Italian, Ash was able to understand clearly as Princess. Ash couldn’t help being a little bit critical of the guy, though she supposed it was just another guy who had fallen for Dani’s whole ‘artsy and independent’ thing.

"Does eating something sound bad to any of you? Ash looked forlornly towards where she presumed her comfy room was waiting wanting only to go put her stuff away and wash away the travel grunge with a hot shower. "That sounds like a great idea," Ash shot daggers at the brunette as she spoke up in support of getting food. Ash felt like she was being outnumbered quickly and when she opened her mouth to give her two cents worth she was silenced by her stomach growling lightly. So she chose not to say anything but scoffed at even her own body turning it’s back on her.

Dani, out of character, piped up suggesting they go to a place that apparently inside the hotel. “Great, let’s get this show on the road,” Ash said giving a clearly forced smile as she already began heading off towards the restaurant, not that she knew where she was going. Though she was stopped by Dani, "My bag!" Ash raised her eyebrows almost disbelievingly as she casually walked over to where everyone has been standing and watched the boy run off. “Whoa fast little bugger isn’t he?” Ash said to Em and Jay who she was now standing next to, seemingly more impressed by the boys speed than by her friend just being robbed. After all they were billionaires, even if the kid got away Dani could just replace her stuff, no biggie.

Ash approached Dani and her Italian boy, whatever his name was, as they came back inside the hotel. "I hate when that happens. Expect to be in the tabloids, Princesa. They might think that you're my actual princess." Ash couldn’t help the sceptical eyebrow raise at that comment. “Well, maybe if you didn’t call her Princessa they may not have got the wrong impression,” Ash said sarcastically, already annoyed at the guy, she was being a bitch but in her defence being a bitch was what she did best and well, she did it best with new people. She just took a while to warm up to new people, if ever.

“Hey Dani, it’ll be okay, so let’s go to that restaurant you suggested and get something to eat and clam down yeah?” She suggested friendlily, though it took all she had. She was hungry, wanted to shower and Paris with all i'ts drama and accents were giving her a headache.

Emily's stomach growled silently again but she kept quiet as she waited patiently for everyone to decide what to do next as they waited for the others to get back. Dani smiled at her, "That sounds like a great idea," Emily smiled back and nod happily. 'One down, just a few more to go' she then turned cheerfully at the others when she heard Dani speak again, suggesting a place inside the hotel; apparently she had noticed the crazy paparazzi too. Thankfully to her troubled stomach Ashlyn also wanted to eat something, “Great, let’s get this show on the road,”.

Emily moved along with Ash as she moved forward, 'thank goodness' she thought as she followed behind. Emily noticed that Ashlyn was uncomfortable with the arrival of Dani's friend August, and she wondered if Jay would feel the same. Either way, she would try to make things less awkward for both Dani and August, she knew that Dani was obviously fluttered and stumbling with words with August and she wanted to help her best friend in any way she possibly could. For the moment though, all she could think off was that she was about to eat delicious real Italian cuisine, sure she would have loved to go shower first and fix her mess of hair but food was more important now. Because of it, she was surprised when she suddenly heard Dani yell agitatedly, "My bag!". Emily turned around to see a child pull Dani's bag and make a run out, flash speed, to the streets. Emily knew exactly what was on her bag, her precious art supplies. For the same reason, she wasn't shocked when she saw her friend ran out after the boy out the doors, without second thoughts she followed after her, "Wait, Dani!..." but it was too late, Dani was already out the door and the paparazzi went wild, “Whoa fast little bugger isn’t he?” said Ashlyn before she too followed after Dani.

Emily was shocked and a bit intimidated, "Stop... please" she said clumsily taken back by the huge wild crowd that went even crazier after August followed Dani too. Emily was almost blinded by the non stop camera flashes that were now taking pictures of Dani and August... and possibly even her as she stood close by. "I hate when that happens. Expect to be in the tabloids, Princesa. They might think that you're my actual princess." she heard August say to Dani, 'this is bad... this is really bad' was all Emily could think of. In truth, she wished they wouldn't have attracted as much attention to themselves, well... not exaggeratedly but it seemed like that would be impossible now.

“Well, maybe if you didn’t call her Princessa they may not have got the wrong impression,” said Ash with a reasonable amount of sarcasm, and though Emily hated to admit it, Emily thought she was in the right she worried about Dani and even more when she didn't know who August truly was, all she could guess for the moment was that the paparazzi hardly mean any good. They moved inside and Emily didn't say anything, not wanting to make things worse. It wasn't until Ashlyn tried to comfort Dani suggesting her to calm down that she too tried to calm her down. Emily smiled at Dani knowing how important her supplies are, "I'm sure we'll get them back Dani, that Bruno guy August mentioned sounded... efficient yeah?" she said with a comforting smile. "I know how important they are to you but there's nothing we can do for now, besides I'm sure you are dying to try that coffee from before" she said with a small giggle remembering how she had dropped it before and trying to get her to smile a bit.
