Halloween had always been her favorite holiday of the year. Ever since she was a child she loved dressing up as someone else and living in their shoes for a change. That's always what she enjoyed doing. Though she couldn't help but wonder what Naomi dressed up as, that was something the two of them agreed to keep secret from each other.
Dezember sat down on her queen sized bed with a sigh and just stared at her pink wallpaper decorated with a feather print. Thankfully the landlord allowed her to put wallpaper up in her room, the walls were very disgusting when they moved into this apartment. It looked as if there was poop smeared all over the wall and as much as she tried to wash it off, the stain just wouldn't dissipate at all.
The brunette stood to her feet and walked out of her room to head to the bathroom. She stepped inside and closed the door behind her before tending to her business. She flushed the toilet, washed her hands and replaced her gloves back onto her hands. Dezember made her way out of the bathroom and sat down on the couch in the living room as she waited on Naomi.

Raven sighed as he opened up his bar to allow the New Orleans college students inside to the party hosted by the Delta sorority. He was never one for college parties, but he was beginning to find himself being completely starved and honestly, there was nothing better to do tonight.
Halloween was never that big of a deal for him. All he thought of it was a bunch of humans dressing up as vampires and other "supernatural" things they find scary because they don't believe they exist, when clearly they had two of them standing right there in front of them. If only those precious souls knew who his brother and he were, they would be completely afraid and possibly even go insane.
The male stepped back after unlocking the doors and immediately made his way over towards the bar to let the bartenders know that they were in for a busy night. After speaking with them, he noticed some of the students coming in with their costumes on. Raven poured himself a drink, found a seat in the back of the bar where he would go unbothered, kicked his feet up and popped the beer open as he watched over the humans. All he wanted to do was wait for a human to be drunk enough for him to take into the alley behind his bar and just feast on their delicious blood until his lust settled. Then he would let the person go after wiping their memory.
Carefully securing her crazy curly hair into a messy updo with tendrils framing her face so that the gold earrings could be seen, Naomi made sure she had everything she needed before heading out of her bedroom and into the living room. As always, Dezember looked effortlessly flawless and Naomi instinctively pinched at the fabric of her pants, feeling more exposed than ever. "I look ridiculous right now, don't I?"
Once partially sated, he yanked away from the fearful blonde, grinning down at her menacingly while both wiping his mouth and saying, "Now, go clean that up. That raccoon bit you pretty hard, babe." Satisfied, he stepped away from the dazed college student, heading back to the club to see Raven already digging into a bottle of alcohol. "Come now, bro. Don't tell me you're already getting drunk," he called to Raven, picked up a beer himself, and then perching himself across from his brother. "The party's only just started."

Dezember did nothing more than stand to her feet and let out a soft gasp. "Oh my God, Naomi! You look amazing! Though I can say, I never expected to see you dressed in something like this. If I were a guy," she started but then shut her mouth, knowing that if she were to finish that sentence she would most likely make her best friend feel even more uncomfortable. The brunette just laughed it off and slid her arm through her roommate's and began heading out the door.
Dezember picked up her keys from the table beside the door as she headed out and locked up behind them. She made her way over to her vehicle and climbed into the driver's seat and started the engine. Just as she started to pull out, a dickhead of a driver pulled straight by their driveway without giving any concern that they were pretty much in the middle of the road.
Dezember slammed down on her breaks as a couple foul words escaped her lips. "Fucking idiot!" she exclaimed as she let out a soft sigh, trying to calm herself down before pulling out of the driveway and making her way onto the highway towards the Raven's Nest. "I swear it's as if everyone is trying to kill me these days," she stated as she reached towards the radio and turned it on, finding that it was turned all the way up. The brunette immediately reached for the volume nob and turned it down, quite a bit and laughed. "I really need to remember to turn my radio down before I get out the car," she commented.

Raven just sighed and rolled his eyes at his brother's comment. "You know I have to be drunk to be around these idiots," he responded before taking another sip from his drink. "Looks like you had a delicious treat," he stated as he noticed a blonde female step into the bar with a vampire bite on the side of her neck. He just shook his head with a wicked smirk before returning his attention to his brother.
All Raven wanted to do was have this party come to a quick end so he could get back to his everyday responsibilities. But mainly be away from all of these college idiots who believe they know everything just because they're in college. Raven just let out a sigh and glanced around the bar to see if he could spot someone he could get his own fill from. Once that was taken care of, he figured he could just go about his own business and just let the party play on. As long as there wouldn't happen to be any fights breaking out or anything else happening that shouldn't, he would just hide out in his office.
Like Dezember, Naomi did enjoy Halloween, a lot more than she probably let on to the people around her. She and Dezember just liked it for different reasons. Dezember liked dressing up as other people and genuinely adored becoming someone else entirely. Naomi liked it for the kids. Having grown up with an overly religious grandmother and a mother who probably still gave no fucks about her existence made it hard to truly like dressing up as much as every other participant in the holiday, but she did enjoy the candy. That was the one thing her grandmother allowed. Naomi had not been allowed to dress up as a ghoul, but they surely gave out treats. Not because her grandmother believed in letting children dress up as demons, but because they were children. That was what Naomi liked and she probably would have been doing such if the Deltas had not reminded her of her duties as a member or if Dezember hadn't wanted to have some fun.
Naomi was brought back from her musings by the sharp sound of her own gasp and Dezember's curse as the car jerked in response to the breaks being punched. Glancing back at the street to see that the reckless driver was gone, Naomi pursed her lips and would have commented, but a dramatic response from Dezember beat her to it and she had no choice but to giggle a little at the prospects of anyone trying to kill Dezember. She would have liked to see anyone attempt that. They would surely lose and hear her mouth in the end. The companionable silence was broken then only by the sound of the radio, which blared out loudly and Naomi laughed. "Well, at least we know it's working," she replied before gazing out the window. "So, how long do you think it'll take before the party's nothing but a bunch of drunk co-eds?"
"Delicious, indeed," he replied on a purr and eyed the slowly filling club. Regardless of how much he typically detested humans, Nate enjoyed their debauchery and foolishness. It served as entertainment to him and it was easy for him to blend in. A bunch of college kids who honestly cared about nothing but enjoying "the best years of their lives?" It sounded right up Nate's alley and since Raven seemed intent on being a sour puss, Nate could definitely start blending in now. Tossing his brother a smirk, he said, "Well, between the two of us, somebody's gotta be the fun host. Don't forget to get a better drink tonight." He gestured to the plethora of humans who would eventually drink themselves into such a stupor that compelling them to forget would not even be necessary. "You are a lot more fun when you've drained someone." With that said, Nate headed into the foray, stopping at a table of girls and chatting it up with the redhead dressed as a queen.

Dezember nodded her head at Naomi's comment about the radio working in agreement. "Yeah, that's true," she stated as she stopped at a red light. "Not too far now and honestly, I'd just say give it a couple hours and all that will be left are the drunken co-eds," she stated as she glanced over at her best friend and roommate. "Have you ever been to this um, Raven's Nest before?" she questioned as she searched for the name of the bar in her head. This place she definitely heard stories about but she never thought about attending the place before. She hoped it was just as good as she heard it was.
Dezember pressed the gas peddle once the light turned green and drove the half mile distance between the light and the bar before pulling into the driveway and parked her vehicle. With a sigh she straightened out her hair and stepped out. "Ready to get this party started? I certainly am," she stated as she closed the door and locked up after Naomi climbed out after her.
Dezember couldn't wait until they got inside. She just wanted to drink, have fun, meet some cute boys, and cut loose. That's all she wanted to do. Though it'd be even better with Naomi with her. When the brunette stepped inside she let out a soft smile and immediately dragged Naomi with her to the bar and ordered two shots. "Take a shot with me!"

Raven just let out a soft smirk at his brother's words and stood to his feet before making his way through the crowd, not being able to stand it anymore. He lifted a random girl up out of the crowd and compelled her to be quiet. He made his way outside, into the back alley and drained the girl. He enjoyed the fresh, warm liquid that seeped into his mouth from the poor girl's neck. He just couldn't bring himself to stop and honestly, he didn't really care to stop. Raven drained every bit of blood from the female and just dumped her body into his basement so that he could burn her remains later. Right now, it was definitely not a great time to do something like that. If Nathaniel found out what he did, he would definitely go through a great deal of hell.
The male sighed as she wiped his mouth and made his way back into the building and took his seat. Though as he was sitting there, he spotted two of the most gorgeous girls he had ever laid eyes on. Though when he noticed the girl dressed as a bellydancer, he couldn't rip his eyes away from her. A wicked smirk appeared on his face as he stood to his feet and made their acquaintance.
When they arrived, Naomi could only grin at Dezember's excitement, feeding off of that energy instead of wanting to be back home peering at a Dostoevsky novel and sipping red wine. She pulled out gold hoop earrings and jabbed them into her ears as they got out of the car. "Let's do this." She was not surprised by Dezember grabbing her when they got inside the club nor was she at all surprised by the sounds of appreciation by the guys they passed. It wasn't hard to hear them. Even with the music playing, they had to push up on a few people to get to the bar and well, the sounds were obvious. They liked what they saw. It was typical of whenever she went out with Dezember, and no, Naomi wasn't going to acknowledge the fact that some of those catcalls were probably for her as well.
"Why am I not surprised? Not even in here ten seconds and you've got all eyes on you," Naomi griped playfully and downed the shot glass, not even hiding the way her face scrunched up at the burn in her throat. She had discovered, surprisingly, that she was not a lightweight. It definitely took a few drinks to get her there. The main thing was that Naomi also wasn't that much of a drinker. Red wine? She could do that. Fruity drinks? Those were fun. Shots? Not her favorite. Still feeling a bit playful and seeing a few other guys, a blonde from her Critical Studies course, staring their way. "Watch! There's going to be a tall, dark and gorgeous in your future and I'm gonna sit back and say I told you so." Giggling, Naomi allowed her eyes to wander around before falling on an approaching tall, dark and gorgeous man with eyes too intense to be legal. She turned away quickly, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks as she muttered to Dezember, "And I just spoke that into existence." Despite anything Dezember would have to tell her and because Naomi refused to look back up to see who he was coming for, she could only presume that beautiful and classy Dezember was his objective and she couldn't even blame him.
He had not seen when Raven had disappeared, but he did notice his brother's absence after a while. He also didn't choose to look for him either. Raven had a habit of going into his office when he was done with dealing with people, so it didn't surprise Nate that he was gone. However, he smirked to himself when he saw his brother's return, noting the fresh color that warmed his skin. Fucker probably fed, he thought and laughed a little, gesturing to the older male. "And there's McBrooderson," he exclaimed and the girls followed his line of vision. Already, he could smell the lust rolling off of them and he could only smell it - amidst the lust tainting the air of the room from various different sources - because he was so close to them. It made Nate roll his eyes before he added, "Careful though, ladies. He's a real biter." Chuckling at his own pun and the curiosity on one of the girls' faces, Nate peered curiously at a determined looking Raven. He followed his brother's line of sight curiously only for his gaze to fall on a particularly delectable set of brunettes. The one in the skintight, satin dress with soft curls toward the ends of her hair was the one who drew him in more, but he didn't move. Not until he saw where his brother was going. And how he was going to act. After all, Raven didn't just pursue women off random. Nate smirked.
This ought to be interesting.

Dezember rolled her eyes at her friend's words, "It wasn't just me they were fawning over. I heard a few comments about my little belly dancer too," she responded with a soft chuckle. Though once she glanced around at the crowd, she noticed that a dark, gorgeous male was making his way towards them, just as Naomi was making a joke about it.
"No, I don't think he's here for me," she stated as she noticed him looking directly at Naomi as he finally made their acquaintance. As much as she wouldn't mind him hoping to get into her life, she knew that things like this didn't happen to Naomi as much as it did for her. She smiled as she stood to her feet before ordering herself a beer. "I just realized I left something in the car," she stated to Naomi, clearly letting her know she was going to leave the two of them alone.
Just before Naomi had any time to stop her from leaving, she quickly walked off and into the crowd, hoping she would find herself a bit of man candy as well. Though hopefully someone just as attractive as Naomi's. Though for some reason she couldn't help but to get this feeling that there was something more to him than being some random, dark, mysterious, very gorgeous guy. Something was different about him and she really hoped it was something good.
Dialogue Color Code: #38acec
Raven smirked as he overheard he girl's conversation with his vampiric hearing and just kept his eyes upon the belly dancer. She was very gorgeous. Her friend was too, but she was the one who seemed to intrigue her more than anything. Surprisingly it wasn't the fact that she was practically half naked like it would be for any other girl, but for some reason he was drawn to her for reasons unknown.
He couldn't help but to chuckle a bit when he noticed that the girl's friend walked away, leaving the two of them alone. He turned his attention to the female and held out his hand to her, "I'm Raven," he introduced. "And might I say you are extremely breath taking," he added as he glanced at the brunette up and down a bit with a friendly smile. Well, the friendliest he could pull off. Anyone who knows Raven knows that he isn't a very friendly person, even when he wants to be.
As Raven stood there speaking to her, he couldn't help but feel as if his brother was watching him, which he knew was most likely what was happening, but he just shrugged it off. He'd deal with Nathaniel later. Right now all he wanted to do was get to know this beauty before his eyes.
Before she could get a word in, Dezember was excusing herself and Naomi's eyes widened, possibly comically. They morphed into a glare at Dez obviously ignoring it, grabbing a beer, and she was very much about offer a hiss to her so-called best friend when tall, dark and gorgeous was suddenly there and her mouth felt dry. She wet her lower lip subtly with the tip of her tongue, already thinking of some kind of payback for Dezember when she got her hands on the brunette. Maybe she wouldn't make the girl's favorite dish like she typically did on Mondays? Maybe play the one song Dezember hated early tomorrow and put it on repeat? She was going to find something, but at the moment, his mouth moved and well, he really did have a nice face.
This Raven guy was definitely smooth and damn him for making that a combination with his good lucks for Naomi's cheeks felt like fire. Like with everyone who complimented her, Naomi's eyes cast downward, only for a second. It was too much of a habit of hers since her grandmother drilled it in her head not to seem too conceited when someone offered a compliment. Besides, he was obviously just trying to spit game. He didn't mean it. Yet and still, she couldn't be rude and well, with eyes like that, there was no way she couldn't offer some response. "Um, hi." Okay, that was not the response she wanted to give. Can you sound any more like a five year old? Her mind berated her and a second later, trying to say it coolly, she replied, "I-I mean...th-thanks...and we're going to ignore me sounding like a spazz in three...two...one." She had to give herself that countdown, feeling even more embarrassed before turning to Raven a direct stare, eyeing his attire. "I'm Naomi, nice to meet you. No costume?"
Yet and still, his eyes sought out her friend, who had dismissed herself from the duo at the bar. While they were still across the space, Nate had concentrated enough to hear when she purposefully left her friend alone and even could hear Naomi's heart pick up its tempo when Raven approached her. But his mind vividly followed her friend, watching the small smirk form on her delectable-looking lips. She didn't go out to her car as she had told her friend, simply disappeared into the crowd until she was in the midst of writhing bodies. Mind set, Nathaniel slid to his feet, ignoring the slight whine from Kate. "Well, ladies, it's been fun," he said and was set to walk away, but Kate was on her feet as well and grabbed a hold of his arm. Rolling his eyes and actually contemplating hurling her back down on the sofa, he grasped the redhead's arm tightly in his grasp and demanded her eye contact. "Do me a favor and have fun with your friends tonight and when you wake up tomorrow morning, you'll be in some guy who's not your fiancée's bed," he told her, keeping the ever charming smirk on his face. She nodded happily before chatting with her girls, who all squealed. But Nate wasn't paying attention. His gaze was slowly on the girl whose name he was going to get before the night was over.
Strolling over to her, he allowed a small smirk to form on his face. She didn't seem like her friend, who was possibly meek. There was probably more to the other girl and he was probably not giving her enough credit, but the one before him radiated unflinching confidence. And Nate always found that attractive in his women. It would be easy to write off this draw to her as hunger since he could go through more than one person a night and did not drink the first person dry, but even he could tell this was more. However, he wasn't the type to overthink it and instead, offered her a greeting, "Not many can pull of beautiful and classy on a night meant for unnecessary debauchery, but I'm guessing you're not just any kind of girl." He extended a hand to her, a glint in his eyes. "The name's Nate. Yours?"
Dialogue Color Code: #f6348a
Once Dezember made her way into the crowd, far enough away so that she would be able to keep an eye on Naomi if she needed her, she began dancing in order to keep herself busy. Every now and then she would have a guy come up and start dancing with her, only to tell them she was definitely not interested. It wasn't because she wasn't wanting to meet guys, she just wasn't comfortable around them. Whenever she gets these strange vibes from someone, they are true most of the time. Dez just didn't want to take any chances, she was always cautious with the people she hangs around. Though sometimes she tends to find out she is wrong about some people, most of the time she stays away from troubled people.
When she was dancing, she was stopped by a male's voice, one who was trying to get her attention. She turned towards him and gave him a friendly smile after hearing his words. She found that he was extremely attractive, had the most amazing lips she had ever seen in her life, but yet she got the same vibe from him that she did from the guy Naomi was talking to. It wasn't really anything bad, it was just different, something she never felt before.
The brunette cleared her throat a bit and responded, "Well, I guess you could say I'm not like any other girl," she stated as she placed her hand in his to shake it, finding that his touch was extremely cold as if death had taken over his body. "Dezember," she responded, getting lost in the man's eyes.
All she seemed to want to do at this moment was embrace this man and kiss those gorgeous pink lips. They just looked so soft and delectable. She couldn't stop those thoughts from running through her head. Though just as she realized her hand was still in his, she removed it and took a sip from her beer, trying her best to keep her nerves as calm as possible. Dezember definitely wasn't nervous, she just hadn't seen a male as attractive as him ever. There was nobody she knew who could compare to him.
Dialogue Color Code: #38acec
Raven smirked as he heard the female's heartbeat speed up, he loved it when the girls were nervous. He just thought it was the cutest thing he ever seen. Though when the female licked her lips, she bit his lip softly as he listened to her words. At her mentioning that she was acting like a spazz, he just gave a deep, dark chuckle. "No, I don't do costumes," he responded as he glanced at her up and down once more. "Though I can say, you chose an amazing costume. You're fit to be a belly dancer," he added with a slight smirk.
Raven glanced around the area before returning his attention to the beautiful brunette before him, "Do you go to the college or are you one of the plus ones?" he questioned, just trying to identify the kind of girl she was. Of course if she was one of the college girls he wouldn't mind because for some reason he believed she was a lot more different than all of the other girls. There was just something about her that made him more interested in her. Raven was definitely not a people person and anyone who knew him would know that for sure. He usually wouldn't walk up to a random person and start talking to them unless he was looking for his dinner, someone to feast upon and drain. Many times he tried to change his ways, but he didn't see the point. He was a vampire, he needed human blood to survive. Just like humans kill deer, chickens, etc. in order for them to eat, it's pretty much the same thing. Though in his mind, that's how it was.
Was that the only reason he was even speaking to her? Because of how much she was revealing?
When his gaze finally left her diminutive frame, Mika allowed her own to truly take him in. Why whatever deity was out there decided to taunt her with this painstakingly gorgeous male, she did not know. More than that, he radiated something...something intoxicatingly dangerous and dark. Something that made her breath catch in her throat...or maybe it was because his gaze returned back to her. She didn't know. "College, business school actually," Mika answered, allowing her eyes to wander from his impenetrable stare. It was too crowded to search for Dezember with just her eyes, but it was enough of a reprieve from tall, dark and gorgeous. "I actually went to a culinary school before this. I thought it'd be useful to get a business degree." Also, because it was Mika and she hated her own silence at times, she continued, "And I-I-I...I don't dress like this a lot. I mean, I-I'm not a prude or a-anything like that...I just...this," she gestured down to her ensemble, "isn't me and I am talking a lot." Of course you are, genius. Her mind taunted and Mika, if she didn't want to seem crazy already, would have told herself to shut the hell up already.
But that thought didn't even stop her from blurting out before Raven could get another word in, "God, does anyone ever tell you you make them nervous? Because you...do. Make me nervous, that is." It was too late to take it back now and well, it would be stupid to try. She always blurted certain thoughts out and this time proved no different.
"An ode to one of my favorite months of the year...I like it," he purred, grinning now. He liked her name and all that came with it. Not just the cool drops of icy whiteness on days others would have preferred to see the sun - but her, all of her. The way she stood, tall and graceful. Dragging his eyes away from her for fear of seeming too interested in his stare, Nate glanced over in the direction of his brother and Dezember's friend. He didn't watch them too long, and returned his gaze to Dezember and commented, "It seems you've met my brother, Raven. Not a friendly sort, I say." Taking one step closer to Dezember, Nate peered down at her face, pondering to himself why she could have caught his eye so quickly. Surely, there were other brunettes amongst them - brunettes he could really sink his teeth into. Yet, for some reason, despite how delicious she would probably be, he did not want to do that. It was a baffling thought. "The real question, however, is how friendly are you? Care to dance?"

Dezember gave a soft smile at his remark about her name and just nodded her head at his words. When he removed his attention from her towards a different direction, she followed his gaze, finding that he was looking at Naomi and tall, dark, and gorgeous. After hearing him state that he had been his brother, she just smirked and returned her attention towards him. "Well, seems like he's being polite to Naomi," she stated, more to herself than anything.
The female glanced at him, taking him in once again. For some reason she just couldn't stop taking in his magnificent beauty. Though she had a feeling there was more to him than just his charm, that didn't really seem to be drawing her in as much as the other girls she noticed, and his good looks. When she was asked to dance, she was drawn from her thoughts and gave a friendly smile. "I'm only as friendly as people allow me to be. If someone pisses me off, there is nothing to hold me back from my words," she started before answering his last question, "And sure, I'll dance," she added before starting to dance, her beer still in her left hand.

When Naomi started to answer his question, he drew his gaze away from the crowd and returned to her. After hearing that she was looking to get a business degree he just let out a soft smirk and nodded his head. This girl really did hold great potential and part of him had a feeling she didn't know that. In his opinion she seemed to be highly insecure about herself, which he thought was a bit adorable, but he had no idea why she felt that way about herself. She was extremely beautiful, anyone would be able to point that out.
At her comment about the way she was dressed, Raven just let out a soft chuckle before stating, "Didn't think you dressed this way all the time," he started, "And yes, I am told by numerous girls that I make them a bit nervous, but honestly the nervousness just seems to intrigue me," he added. If only she knew the reason she should be nervous around me, Raven thought to himself. Though he couldn't help but to ask her this question, "Why are you nervous around me?" he questioned, completely interested in what her answer was going to be. For some reason, each girl he asked this question to always seemed to have a different answer and he just couldn't help but to be fascinated with that.
A small smile pulled at the corners of her mouth at the sound of his chuckle, a thrill going through her at the deep rumble of amusement that had escaped him. Mika liked that sound, a lot more than she should have. Maybe it wasn't even the sound. It may even have had something to do with the fact that for a second, Raven's face had softened and it was an interesting thing to witness. She found herself, once again, focused on his eyes. There was no "windows of the soul" going through her mind at the sight of them, no "blue as the sky" or whatever other corny statement people make about blue eyes. No, his were like steel - cool, stony, and tinged with a blue that only lightened upon his chuckle. It was captivating, to say the least.
"Well, you're gorgeous," she blurted out unapologetically, blushing again because of a boldness she honestly did not possess. Mika tugged at her lower lip with her teeth again, mindful only at the last second that she was biting too hard and could pierce the flesh soon. Messing with the small rings on her fingers, she lamented, "Which I'm pretty sure you've heard countless times, by the way." She didn't look at him for a moment, trying to piece together her words. However, it didn't take long for her to meet Raven's gaze head on, staring at him like she did to the crossword puzzles that made up her childhood. "It's just...you seem intense...and intimidating...and honestly, like you're...absolutely different from every other guy I've ever met. And that you know it. Most people don't know that about themselves...I don't know. I'm probably just babbling and sounding like an idiot." Trying to dispel the feeling her words gave her - the shiver that had ran down her spine - Mika giggled nonsensically, messing with a stray strand of her curly hair.
"So, you're feisty, I see," he remarked and began to sway to the heavy bass of the music fluttering about the room. He felt the subtle vibrations from the speakers as they rose up from the floor, they way the beat made his skin thrum just a bit and a pulse to run through him. Perhaps it was the excitement that had not waned from his previous meal. Perhaps it was the fact that unlike Raven, Nathaniel loved nights like these and loved dancing. Perhaps, it was honestly because of her - he didn't know. All he knew was that he couldn't take is eyes off of her. So, he pressed on, "So, Dezember, tell me more about you? Are you a student here?"
Dialogue Color Code: #f6348a
Dezember just smirked at his comment about her being feisty and started dancing with him. The song that was playing was a bit upbeat, the kind of music she always seemed to enjoy dancing to. "Only when I need to be," she commented back, not caring about keeping any of her thoughts to herself. When she had something to say, she always said it no matter what it was. That's just the kind of girl she's always been.
As she danced with the male she found herself getting lost in his movements. She was never one to get lost in the way a guy moved, but for some reason she couldn't help it with Nathaniel. He was different than any other guy, that was more definite than anything else she thought about him. But maybe that was a good thing. Dezember liked different, it just makes he want to learn about him more. Just as he started to ask another question, she was pulled out of her thoughts by his deep, mysterious tone, that only seemed to intrigue her even more.
"Yes, I'm actually majoring in psychology," she answered before taking the last sip from her beer and setting it down on the table that just so happened to be behind her before returning her attention back to the male before her and started dancing again.

Raven couldn't help but to let out another chuckle as he heard the female going on about the reason she felt nervous around him. Though just as she was speaking, he noticed that she was blushing, which made him just smile a bit. He continued to listen to her words before she silenced herself. "Well, I guess you could say I'm different from any of the other guys and trust me, you're far from sounding like an idiot Naomi," Raven stated to her.
Honestly, Raven was completely shocked that he seemed this interested in her, usually he wouldn't speak to anyone he wasn't going to be feeding from any longer than a few seconds. But he couldn't help it. There was some strange force drawing him towards her, as if there was a reason behind him needing to get to know this woman. No matter how hard he tried to end the conversation between them and just hide out in his office like he was originally planning, there was no use. He just found himself continuing to stand there before her, talking, and even enjoying himself. Something he hadn't done in many, many years.
Raven definitely knew that Nathaniel would have things to say about this situation once the night ended. Part of him dreaded the thought, but he knew he would have to deal with it. Nate was his brother for crying out loud, he always had something to say.
Tugging her lower lip with her teeth idly, an ever-present habit of hers, Naomi allowed her gaze to drift over to the crowd of people. Surely enough, more and more people were coming inside and it would be packed soon. She knew the Deltas were probably ecstatic about that and unconsciously thought about texting her president to see if she was here. However, she found it rude to text someone when she was supposed to be talking to Raven and it wasn't like she could fathom leaving him any time soon. Like always, he was the magnet her gaze could not help but wander back to, even when she willed herself to focus on something else. "So, then what makes you so different from all the other guys then?" She decided to ask bravely, attempting to stand a bit taller if she was going to tell herself that she was going to see their conversation through. "No offense, but you don't take me as any of these students and well, I've never seen you on campus before." She knew she was a bit old to be with some of these kids, but Naomi already had a degree. She was just going further. Raven seemed like a story she couldn't wait to read.
Instead of focusing on his puzzling attraction to this one girl, he focused on her response and allowed himself to chuckle. Psychology? Why was he so surprised by it? It was an intriguing visual, her studying the best psychology texts and conducting researches and case studies. Smirking, he inquired, "A budding psychologist, huh? Think you can give me a psych evaluation?"
Dialogue Color Code: #f6348a
As Dezember continued dancing with him, she couldn't help but to giggle at his response to her psychology major. Though part of her just wanted to be flat out blunt about what she was honestly thinking of replying with to it, but she decided that she better not. At least right now. "Hm," she started as if in thought. "Maybe," she finally stated. Once the song finished, a slow one came on and she stopped dancing and just looked at him, deciding to just go along with her guy feeling and draped her arms around his neck, hoping that she hadn't made a wrong move. Dezember was quite enjoying herself with Nathaniel and honestly, she didn't want it to end.
Though once again she had to stop herself from making the wrong move and kissing someone she had only known for no longer than fifteen minutes. Yes, Dezember was the kind of girl who would get into a bed with almost any guy she trusted, but they would have to know each other for at least a month or so before she went along and did that. Of course it would end up being with no strings attached because Dezemeber was just no the dating type.
Many times Naomi had picked on her about the way she was with dating, but honestly she didn't care. Being emotional and sharing your feelings all the time was definitely not something she wanted to be doing. Just thinking about all of the sappiness that would be going along with that makes Dezember feel horribly sick to her stomach. But honestly, she was never really one to believe in love. It's all just a joke. There was no such thing as true love. At least, that's what she keeps telling herself.
Dialogue Color Code: #38acec
Raven just smirked as he began to read over her body, taking in every movement she made as if trying to decipher some sort of strange code that was nowhere near understandable to anyone in the universe. He could tell that she felt slightly uncomfortable, but other than that she was just that, an undecipherable sort of code. Everything about this woman seemed to intrigue him, something that he couldn't seem to stop himself from. "I'm actually the owner of this bar, hence the name, Raven's Nest," he responded with a slight chuckle. He had a feeling he might have come off as a dick by the way he answered that question, but then again, he always felt that way...because well....he's just that, a dick.
At that point he noticed a bunch of girls dressed in the most ridiculously slutty outfits making their way over towards Naomi. "On that note, I best be taking care of some paper work," he stated, completely lying to her. "Nice meeting you Naomi," he stated before placing a small kiss upon her cheek.
As he began making his way through the crowd, he couldn't believe he had just kissed her. Of course it could have been worse, he could have kissed her lips instead of her cheek. What would father think? With me being interested in a human woman when I'm not even interested in any of the vampiric women back at home?
