Zander stood around the abandonded building waiting for someone to approach him. He had a few close calls..but they were usually just people asing for drugs... Zander was starting to get pissed. Not to mention his costume was new and itchy, plus it didn't help it was thick and it was about 70 degree outside. "damn New York sucks ass.." Zander said looking around.
Zander stood up from leaning up against the wall. He pulled his mask down and breathed in. "Damn! What a day!" Zander said thinking bout his day. He rubbed a cut on his lipp he had got early from his dad. 'Fucker." He said pulling his mask up. "He's lucky he buys all this equipment for me..Or i'd..I'd!" Zander said turning and punching the wall.
"Ugh.." Zander said rubbing his fist then looking around...No one. "Guess I should go..." He said heading for the exit.

Dakota leaned back with a squeak of her chair. It amazed her how long it could take to do something as easy as a registration swap. The gun her dad had given her was far too easily traceable and if she ever needed to use it she didnt want the bullets drawing a map straight to her... So she had fixed it. After that she checked the site. "Nightspot" was up and running. Not easily accessible she was hoping word of mouth would get the site out to the right people. She wasnt so much a mercenary for hire... but if someone out there needed her help she wanted them to be able to contact her. Looking at the posts on the site a couple petty criminals and a thirteen year old who seriously needed parental controls on his Internet were her only hits.
"Damn," she muttered and looked at the clock. She didnt have class for a week or so. Summer quarter hadnt offered her any interesting courses so she had taken it off. It was getting to be dark and she looked guiltily at the box hidden under the random flotsam her tiny apartment accumulated. She had promised herself she wouldnt go running off in costume for no good reason. Still... She shrugged and went over to the box, pulling out her costume and knives. Why not do a little hunting... You never know what kind of pond scum came floating to the New York surface when the sun set.
In quick time she was dressed, looking for all like some vixen, her knee high boots and fitted half-length trench something straight out of a bad porno. It suited her after the makeup was slapped on and her hair was straightened. Completely different from the curly haired nerd who was usually found wearing a Power Rangers t-shirt (from the original series!) and converse. She smiled as a group of teenagers passed her and nearly got whiplash. Good bye Dakota, hello Nightshade.
