Description

The king of Lutje looks more like a knight than a king. Standing at a strong six feet three inches, Raven has an intimidating charisma about him that is only added to his full framed body. Though he is stronger than most his muscles are not completely ripped like a body builder. Instead he is lean and graceful, strong and sturdy. Raven wears a set of full plate armor or a dark brown color with a large onyx stone set in the middle of the breastplate. His long, black hair flows down over his shoulders and dips over his forehead to shade his eyes under his bangs, adding a strangely regal contrast to pale skin tone. Raven has a square jaw line and powerful facial features, making him appear cold and distant to those who do not know him directly, but the most astonishing thing about him are his eyes which are pure white save for a ring of silver around where the pupil should have been.

Personality

Raven is a strong and charismatic man that faces problems head on instead of letting them build up. He is an insightful man that is exceptional at reading people, whether it be guessing hidden thoughts, or hidden emotions. Unlike most kingdoms, Raven fights alongside his men in battle and times of war and his prowess is described as fearsome at best, terrifying at worst. Though his seriousness and straightforward attitude lead others to think he is arrogant, Raven holds no illusions of perfection and is always working to improve himself. He gives credit where credit is due and can admit when he's wrong. Though he may seem cold and distant to most, he has a softer side to him and he cares for his people and their problems greatly. He can often be seen staring up at the night sky from the palace garden or from the battlements thinking on the issues of his kingdom.

Equipment

Shiva--It is unknown where the blade why the king named the blade Shiva, but it is said to hold some important significance to him as no one has ever seen him use it. Shiva is a six foot claymore with a dark mythril blade of pitch black. This hilt is made of silver and the handle is metal.

Ragnarok--Raven's main blade, Ragnarok is a gun-blade with a golden hilt shaped like a dragon with a ruby held in its teeth at the center. It fires a 7.62 round and can be surprisingly accurate. It's sheath is black with a golden lining and gold around the edges.

Dark Mythril Fullplate--The king's royal armor made of dark mythral, said to be the hardest substance in the world. Despite it's hardness the armor is also quite flexible, accommodating swift movements and easy flexibility. This armor covers the kings entire body save for the head because he refuses to where a helmet on the battle field. Most say he's reckless for not wearing it, but he just says it gets in the way.

History

Raven grew up learning swordplay and marksmanship with various firearms in addition to his normal academic studies. His father told him that a true man of royalty must be skilled with the sword as well as the pen because diplomacy does not always work. At a young age his father taught him to fence and before long he could beat almost anyone. However, he has never carried a rapier or cared too as he claimed the weapon was to flimsy and he was not a swashbuckler. As he continued his education, Raven discovered he excelled in the mind as well and astounded his tutors with the rate he learned. His favorite game; though, is chess. Strategy is his main forte and he has yet to lose at the game. Though he seemed perfect to be the next king, he did not want the mantel. Raven loathed politics and would rather see the world than rule it. He hoped it would be may years before he had to take the throne. However, his wish was not to be. Raven took the throne at the age of 20 years old. His father died of a strange illness, but later it was discovered that someone has poisoned him. Raven took his place with a vigor in hopes to avenge his father. Many of the dukes complained at his young age that he would not be fit to rule the kingdom until he'd been given more training, but he would have none of it.

It took almost a year for the perpetrator to be caught, but in the end it was the king himself who caught the man instead of the police department. Unknown to most, Raven killed the man instead of turning him over to the police force. When the body was finally discovered the government covered up Raven's involvement in the incident. Raven didn't like it, but without him the country would not have a ruler and he did not trust anyone enough to turn his power over to them. It was not really a position he wanted, but it was his fate and Raven accepted his position as ruler of Lutje. Since then he has done all he can for his people and has lead them through many victories in battle as well as in diplomacy. Though his nation has great military power, the king would rather use words to resolve disputes if possible. It doesn't turn out that way very often.
