Introduction

Sirens traits:
- Immortality
- Feeding through the use of lengthened claws and through singing and touch
- Can manipulate and create one element, such as fire, water, earth, air.
- Can reach every vocal range, which means that they can mimic voices.
- Can emit an extremely high pitched scream that calls to other sirens, can kill a human, and damage another immortal.
- When a siren mates with another creature, the female child is purely siren, and the male child takes on the race of the father.
- They are extremely agile and strong creatures, able to jump far distances and run at blinding speeds.
- When they use thier powers, the hues of thier eyes churn in them like a brewing storm.
- When they feed, thier skin, eyes, and hair began to glow as they fill with energy and power.
- Sirens are power hungry creatures, which is why when they hunt, they usually hunt for inhuman creatures.
- Sirens do not leave thier realm except to feed, mate, or hunt down rogue sirens. It is penalty of death to go rogue, for a siren in the mortal realm can expose them to vampires. If they are exposed to vampires, it can mean the enslavement of thier race.
- Because of the way they feed, sirens' blood is extremely addictive to vampires, because it gives them a high. Thier blood is extremely magikal.
- Thier feeding allows them to maintain thier immortality, beauty, and youth.

Vampire traits:

- They are not undead, they are living inhuman creatures that survive on blood to maintain thier perfection and immortality. A vampire can only be killed through decapitation and burning of thier ashes, and them you have to spread thier ashes to keep them from regenerating.
- Vampires can breed and reproduce. Turnings are not common among thier society.
- Turnings consist of draining the creature of most of thier blood and then performing a blood transfusion, often with the use of magik to manipulate the blood. The creature has to have a component compatable with vampire blood to be turned, otherwise the process will kill the creature.
- Vampires are extremely agile and strong.

Other details:
- Magik in this storyline is the strength of mind and manipulation of energy. Humans only use 10 percent of thier minds, while vampires and sirens use 80 percent of thier minds on average. With age, the percentage rises, allowing them to do more things with thier abilities.

Brief overveiw of the storyline:

Vampires are populating quickly and it has become a concern that humans are not a sufficient blood source. A powerful elder vampire named Dimitri has suggested that they try using sirens as a blood source. Sirens are immortal and all they would have to do is subdue and feed them to keep them as an endless supply of blood.
Using sirens will not raise questions and therefore will not risk exposing vampires to the human society. Dimitri has designed a test collar that will subdue a siren's powers, but still allow them to be able to feed.
Dimitri has begun to lead a group of vampires to hunt for a siren named Kat who lives in the human world. Her powers were bound from birth until recently, she thought she was human. Dimitri thinks that if they capture Kat, they can force her to emit the siren scream, using her as bait to lure the other sirens out of hidding. Then, they can capture the other sirens and use them as a blood source.
Kat is the reincarnation of the first siren, Auris. Auris's daughter, Sereythe is leading a hunt after Kat to return her mother and keep Kat from being caught by vampires. She knows that if Kat is captured, if could mean the enslavement of the siren race.

We need someone to play both Dimitri and Sereythe and we also need other sirens and vampires for the role play. This will be a para rp, no one liners. You have to post at least two paragraphs on each post.

Kat could barely hear anything over the loud chatter of the crowd that awaited their band in the main part of the club. It was their first gig at Sinz and Athekka had managed to round up a pretty good crowd. But Athekka wanted to take precautions, just in case if something were to go wrong, so she had extra bouncers scouring the building. Along with the normal jitters, Athekka's precautions sent a nagging at the back of her head. Athekka was a seer, after all. Did she know something that Kat didn't? But when Kat had tried to ask her, Athekka had refused to stay on the subject.

Well, at least she could count on the fact that she wouldn't get killed tonight. Athekka had told her that she would need her help with something important in the future. So if something were to happen, it wouldn't kill her tonight. Or so she hoped. She would have to be prepared for anything. Athekka had tried to tell her to just relax and enjoy her first gig. She was trying, but it was hard with these nagging suspicions in the back of her head.

She fingered the necklace Athekka had given her. It had kept Auris, her past life, quiet, for which she was thankful. If Auris got out, she would reek havoc. She glanced down at the outfit she had chosen for the night and smiled. Athekka was right, she was happy that she had an excuse to wear some of her good clothes. She hadn't spent all that money for nothing. Tonight she wore one of her more expensive sets. The corset was made out of lamb skin, the surface dyed and painted mostly black with hints of shiny blue swirled within the color to compliment the vivid color of her eyes. The skirt itself was made mostly of leather straps that let her long slender legs peek through, showing off the black thigh high boots.

Strapped to her back with a leather custom made holster were sheathed two beautifully crafted Kukri swords. There were intricate designs in the metal in a language that Kat didn't recognize. Hours before the show, Athekka had gifted the swords and the holster to her. She would have been more excited, but the look on Athekka's face had only spurred more suspicions that Athekka knew something she did not.

"Take these Kat. You'll need them later on down the road. When the time comes, use the opportunity to learn how to use them. I know you've had training with blades for several months now. I know Kukri swords aren't your specialty, but you'll find that you'll learn quickly with them. They are specially made for you and they can help harness your powers. Take care of them, Kat." She had said, then left quickly to go and run a few more errands that had needed to be tended to, not giving Kat a chance to ask any questions. It had been this way all night, Athekka avoiding conversations and questions that she knew Kat would ask. Why did she feel like Athekka was saying her goodbyes? She tried to shake the feeling. Maybe she was just being paranoid.

Someone suddenly put a hand on her shoulder and she drew in a breath, whirling around as she was startled out of her thoughts. It was Adrianna. That beautiful face could clear anyone's mind of their worries. "You ready for the show?"

Adrianna smiled, her face lighting up with excitement. "I've been ready. It'll feel good to get out there and play for a crowd. It's been a while." She eyed Kat's expression and arched a brow. "Are you?" Kat gave a nod and glanced out at the crowd. "Yeah...just preshow jitters I guess." She said before turning back to Adrianna. "Is it almost time?" Adrianna nodded. "Yeah, everything's set." As if on que, Vin and Heath walked up behind them. Heath nodded towards them. All three of her other band members were elves, unlike herself. She was a siren, though no one in the crowd would probably know about it. It was dangerous for vampires to know about what she was. Sirens were the perfect immortal meal ticket. Their blood not only gave them an endless supply of blood, but their blood was addictive, giving them a high when they drank it. "Alright, we're good. Let's go."

They moved unto the stage and begun the show with "Broken Race". Kat wasn't sure what she had expected, but it was better than anything she could have expected. The audience loved them and seemed enthralled with her voice. When she sang, it was pure intoxication. They moved with the beat of the music and a pit had even formed near the stage. The audience remained energetic, and because it was a mostly non-human crowd, she fed easily from their energy. She would have never known before, but non-humans tended to give off much more energy than humans did. Maybe that was the reason Athekka chose a non-human crowd.

"Fall face to the grace of a superior race
Torn assunder, mine to plunder
Seasons wept of her disgrace

Fly to the high of a broken mind
Watch the treason of the mass unwind

Make your fall from the broken wall
All for one, but none for all

Each for a season, none to reason
Bask in the vast amass of treason

Feed and sodder
Wind and wander
Brings to the knees, but the wind still calls her

Wind words and whispers of the earth's disaster
Possession and aggression of the gods won't bind her

Lay waste for the sake of a broken race
Is much to much for the mind to face

Hear my call my broken angels all
The earth is not too far to fall

Taste my words, hear my cry
Dance to the rythme of my lullaby

When the sun lie to rest above a swollen chest
And the dancer torn free from a broken crest

The bold will fall to the dark one's call
And all will lay to rest"

As Kat sang, she moved with the music with an untamed passion, her brilliant bright red hair, so bright it could stop traffic, flew wildly around her. Her eyes shone with a brilliant electrical blue, the colors shifting like a coming storm in her eyes. She let herself become lost in the rythme of the music, letting herself reach that high that only music could bring for her.
