Late at night, the main building of the Carnage Assassin Company was silent. Dark clouds slowly covered the moon as a gust blew in thundering clouds overhead. The only thing that could be seen out of the dark night was the red lights of the company building's sign and the flickering stree lights. It wasn't long until the thundering clouds became a storm as a bolt of lightning burst through the sky, breaking the clouds to release a sudden pouring rain to fall down on Shade City. For a moment, the sounds of the storm were all that could be heard, until the sudden sound of an alarm ringing from the Carnage Company building filled the pouring air. Followed by the crashing sound of a window as a figure could be seen leeping out.

Spinning in mid air, the figures black scarf dragged behind as he aimed two black hand guns behind him, firing at several others chasing him down mid air as a gunshot quickly struck them down. Once the shots took down the five chasers, the figure spun back facing forward, landing on the roof top of a nearby building under the pouring rain. Looking up at the broken window he leeped through as several others gather, looking down at him, one calling out. "What do you think your doing, Jax?!" A sudden bolt of lightning reveals him on the roof top looking up as his gray hair and red eyes just give the one that called out to him an emotionless stare before replying, "Breaking my chains from this place!" With that said, Jax dashed off, jumping onto the next roof top, he went farther from the Company building.

Jax managed to reach ground level between two buildings, stepping out into the empty street. The rain still pouring down as he began to wonder how he would continue now that he turned on the place he had lived in all his life.

A figure stood at a large window of the Carnage Company building, watching the rain fall down. She always loved storms, they reminded her of the misery of people. Bad things always happened in the rain. It put her twisted mind to rest knowing that someone, somewhere was suffering right now. She paid little attention to the dark figure running on the rooftops, only stopping to shoot at someone.

"Miss Miseras. Come quick, we need you!" someone said from behind her. She snapped her head around, her pink hair flying around her neck and a scowl on her face. She wanted to be alone here. She told people not to interrupt her in her room.

"What?" she snapped at the recruit. She smiled slightly as she heard him take a breath and saw a satisfactory look of terror on his face.

"J-Jax has escaped!" he whimpered. He cowered away, obviously expecting her to get mad and strike at him. Instead, she sighed and turned back to the window.

"Let him," she said in a bored voice. She watched as he ran even further and jumped down into an alleyway. Most people wouldn't have seen it, but she wasn't most people.

"B-but Miss..."

"He'll be back soon enough. He'll be looking for revenge." She heard the grunt whimper behind her and smirked to herself. She flicked her hair away from her face and smoothed her short black dress. And when he does, I'll be ready, she thought. She watched the rain fall down the window and licked the blood of her scythe of her last kill. She looked forward to his challenge.

As Jax made his way through the pouring rain, he leeped down into an alleyway between the buildings and vanished from the sight of anyone that might still be trying to track his movements. Once down, he stepped over within the shadows of some crates, watching and listening for if anyone was still following him. After a while of hearing only the fall of the rain, he began to move out of the shadows and step toward the streets. It was late at night, so it was no suprise that there weren't anyone around at this hour. The street lamps slightly light up the dark raining streets and sidewalks as he began to make his way along. The pouring rain was a bit of a bother to him, but having been raised into a "tool for killing", he's learned to ignore things that might distract him. After all, a slight distraction can cost one's ife in this line of work.

Kiku sat in his little room just given he took of his jacket and his shirt and layed it on his bed, then he started filling out the paper work that had all the contracts and agreements he had to sign he came across something interesting about him protecting a girl that was the job description as guard but he didn't exactly know who he was going to risk his life for he signed the rest of the papers and found a little mini fridge stacked with different food and drinks he took a loaf of bread out and some cheese and at it fast considering he uselessly didn't have the money to eat even that much he layed on his bed day-dreaming about the future looking towawrds a brighter tomorrow and also thinking about what exactly was he protecting the girl from?
