It's been a few years after the Dead have risen. How many years? Who knows, its not like anyone had the time to be counting. But the world is stabilizing with small human communities putting up a fight. But the Dead are changing... Most are still the slow and mindless ones we've come to love. But some are changing as we speak. The fast and deadly. The smart and cruel. The cunning.

I'm looking for a really good mix of both human and zombie characters. Use your imagination when making the zombie characters, and you can have zombie characteristics like quick healing, super strength, and amnesia but please don't be too on the supernatural side or else you'll just be a vampire or werewolf with bad B.O. Be really descriptive, tell me at what stage of decomposition you're at and whether or not you have stopped rotting.

This role play isn't just a party of bashing in some zombie brains, although there will be some. I hope to see the zombies bonding like friends and family(not all in one group though so no evil zombie organization); and the humans acting like the heartless creatures. The guideline for this role play isn't survival but bonds and revenge and relationships but not only romance. What I really want for this role play is the contemplation of what it means to really be human.

Expect the creation of characters just to die but we will discuss on the OCC of who will die and who will do the killing. Remember no controlling other's characters. The creation of strong bonds between members of your own species is encouraged although that does not mean star-crossed lovers are not allowed. You can also make two characters and play them; like a parent and child separation of differing species. But please take into consideration whether you can do both. Or the two zombie best buds where one is killed by humans, and the survivor swears revenge. Or something along those ideas.

Another note is that the original zombie strain had enhanced the undead's sense of smell. Which they can use to distinguish other zombies and humans. And although there are no groups with notable size, there are groups of zombies who come to turn humans and hull them away. They're a care free group so they do it for the fun of it. There is no greater reason.
