Introduction
Today was Taylor's 21st birthday, & her best friend, Gerri was planning a party for her. Gerri's parents owned a bar/club in the center of Metroville, where they lived, so that's where the party was going to be. Taylor's boyfriend, Alex was going to help Gerri surprise her by telling her he would take her out to dinner, so she would know to dress up.
Taylor was just starting her own company, & not doing so badly. She designed clothes, mostly dresses, though she always did come up with the occasional "playclothes" outfits. She loved her life, & everything was going great. Her & her boyfriend Alex were going out on a date tonight, so she knew she had to dress nicely for the party. She's known Alex since the 4th grade, & they started dating when they went to high school. At the time, they both lived in Pioneersville, & though it wasn't far from Metroville, it wasn't that close either. Gerri was from Riverslanding, which was closer to Metroville. Gerri & Taylor met when Taylor moved to Metroville. She was the first person Taylor met. Gerri had moved w/ her parents to Metroville when Gerri started high school. Taylor met her first when she applied at the bar for a job. She was currently still working there while she started her business. She was forced by Gerri's Dad to not work since it was her 21st, & it being such a big day, she was going to have to have the day off so she could go out & have some fun.
Taylor opened her closet, looking for something to wear. She found a black dress w/ purple lace around the rim of the dress. With it, she took out her black handbag, & black heels. The heels had a purple stripe diagonally across the front of the shoes, which is what inspired the purple lace around the rim of Tay's dress. She was ready to go.
At the bar 25 minutes later:
Taylor *Let's use T for short*: I'm so excited! I can't believe I'm FINALLY 21!
Alex *A*: I know, just hang here a sec. I'll be right back.
Alex peeked in the door & saw Gerri. She waved him in.
A: Come on.
He took her hand & led her.
Everyone: SURPRISE!
T: OMG! You guys!
Taylor covered her cheeks w/ her hands.
T: You're so busted!
She laughed.

Gerri stepped up to Taylor & hugged her friend.
G: I'm so glad to see you!
T: You're so busted, you brat!
G: (laughs) Yeah, I know!
T: How did you plan all this?
G: Well, you know. I have my ways!
T: Yeah, I know!
A: Were you surprised, really?
T: Yeah. Really, I was. (Hugs Alex)
A: Good!
As the party goes on, after Taylor's said hello to everyone, & the dancing's started, Alex grabs Taylor aside.

T: Really, what is it?

OOC Notes
*Taylor's parents are at the party as well, but they're not in the story much, unless there's someone willing to play the part. Also, rules were added, but there was a screwed up system or something, so they're as follows: RPG Rules apply, as usual, There's only 1 really important rule. As you can see, I've been writing inside these **'s. That's important as to NOT confuse the story. It's realistic & dramatic, as well as allowed to be funny. So have fun with it. Feel free to add char's! :D*
