OOC Notes
Morgan sat below deck on a strange ship, slowly coming to grasp consciousness. When she realised she was not aboard her own ship, her eyes widened. "Where am I? What's happened?"
OOC Notes
Elizabeth had been about to say something when she heard Morgan talk.
" uh..Captain? " Elizabeth manged though dry lips " where..are we? " she said blinking at the light that was shining on her face which made her eyes sting.
Though Elizabeth knew this was not there ship she could still smell the sailt water from the cool ocean breeze that blew her hair back.
looking around she saw people..many people..but no one she knew..she thought..

"Captain!"
Mr. Gibbs poked him on the shoulder, shouting the word in his ear. Jack panicked, and flailed his arms for a moment as he assessed the source of the surprising touch. He bobbed his head back and forth as he tried to focus his eyes in on his first mate.
"Oh, Mr. Gibbs, you're looking more lovely than usual."
"Captain?"
Jack squinted his eyes to force his eyes on Gibbs' looks, and followed through with his joke.
"Nevermind. What for you do can I?"
Any other man would have been instantly confused, but Gibbs was accustomed to Jack's idiotic, yet admittedly humorous, way with words.
"There's some ruckus down in the brig. Mr. Cotton is quite spooked by it."
Jack thought a moment about their lovable mute.
"Cotton was spooked by a ruckus?"
"Yes, captain."
"Did he see this ruckus?"
"No, sir."
"Did he report the ruckus?"
"No, sir. The parrot did."
"The parrot informed you that Mr. Cotton was spooked by something he did not hear nor see, and is incapable himself of reporting that he is indeed spooked?"
Gibbs thought a moment.
"It's okay, mate, I'll see about this ruckus that no one reportedly heard with an equal ruckus that someone will most likely hear at some point, though fail to report it due to the ruckus itself taking place. Savvy?"
"I've always been a good first mate and ever said, 'aye' to ye, captain, but if I'm being honest, you're a hard man to follow most of the time."
"Good. Assess our bearings, Mr. Gibbs, and I will assess the ruckus."
"Still aiming for the fountain, captain?"
"Just bring me that horizon, Mr. Gibbs."
"Aye, captain."
Jack stepped away from the control platform on the top deck, stepping down with the graceful stagger that had been the result of time well spent in the Caribbean heat. The long journey to the brig seemed shortened due to his ever-working mind, concerning himself with the most trivial parts of important things, which had kept him occupied since he was a child. It was things like that that made sense in his mind when some people compared him to a child, but a child had never sacked a city without firing a shot before, either. As he approached Cotton's bunk on the way to the next staircase that led down to the brig, he made sure to look at Cotton and not the parrot when speaking, as he had so often done in the past.
"Mr. Cotton, what ruckus did you tell Mr. Gibbs of?"
The parrot, as always, spoke for Cotton.
"BRAWK Where am I?"
Jack squinted in confusion.
"What?"
"BRAWK I can smell this BRAWK Bloody BRAWK Fanny."
Jack had failed to look at Cotton, and suddenly turned to him for acknowledgement, but he didn't know.
"How enlightening."
Jack simply shook his head before he heard something quite troubling below deck.
"Oy! What you three think you're doin huh?! Sit back down before I'm forced to filet the lot of ya!"
Jack considered intervening, but he was thirsty. He hadn't had a drop of rum for the whole of an hour at the most, and immediately felt the urge to drink from the flask at his hip, which he had picked up at their last stop in Tortuga at the recommendation of Mr. Gibbs. He turned away from Cotton and put the flask to his lips, but the last splash of it quickly evacuated the bottle and Jack was overcome with a sense of depression. He then realized the rest of the rum was on the deck below the brig, and thus, he could deal with the impending violence AND get himself a glorified bottle of the rum he so deserved; his flask was too wimpy to be considered seriously.
"As you were, Cot-" He stopped short because there was no use, and simply waved Cotton off with a gesture that implied what he was trying to communicate.
Jack descended the stairs, hearing his boots thump against the old French wood. He kept his left hand on the handle of his broad rapier, the other twinging at his braided beard hair, eyes kept on the scene of Isabella threatening the captives. One of them was trying to talk back.
"Ya mind telling what ship were on? Or do I have to force it out of you?"
Jack stomped on the step he happened to be on to get their attention.
"You're aboard the 'Canard de Pied', which is a French boat I borrowed from some fine gentlemen in Tortuga, and I am Captain Jack Sparrow. This is Isabella, who is extremely handy with the cutlass at her side. Isabella, as long as I am present in the room at the time, you may not harm our prisoners. But you should serve them your fish before you gut them to give them an idea of your capabilities. Therefore," Jack began stepping down the rest of the steps, approaching the cells. "you ladies have equal responsibilities as prisoners to not endanger yourselves by angering those who have swords and guns when you are cooped up like chickens and have no equal show of strength to present. However, I do have some issues I need to discuss with whichever one of you lovely ladies calls yourself 'captain'."
He heard a creaking noise from down the hall. Roselle was standing nearby with a flask in her hand.
"Roselle!"
He approached Roselle in his usual stupor.
"What is that in your hand? Is it that which is most precious to preserving life in our part of the world? That which is so holy to many and much moreso among our crew? Roselle Starling, have you been hoarding an unequal share of RUM?!"

still holding her silver dagger which Elizabeth was sure it could be a good thrower if needed so she held it at ready as her eyes narrowed " OY! Why did ye bring us on yer ship anyway?! " she said looking at Jack Sparrow.
