Personality
LOYAL: Ashley is loyal without a doubt. Sure he'd flirt here and there to make girls happy and keep him appeased, but he would never cheat when there is someone else he cares about. Treat others as you'd like to be treated, was the old school rule tha has been engraved to his mind. He would not cheat when he does not want to be cheated on. Same with his enrollment with the army, as he'd be prepared to defend his comrade and also expects his comrade to be at his defence also. If he says he will do something, that he will do. His word is his bond and if his word can't be trusted, then how can he?
ROMANTIC: Ashley is a charmer and is not afraid of giving compliments where it is due. He wouldn't call himself a 'hopeless romantic', seeing as his relationships haven't exactly been stable but believes that theirs a pretty girl for him, and he'd give her everything, and make her happy. Afterall, what would anyone do for the love of their life?
CONFIDENT: In order to grow, choices need to made. Some choices more easier than others, some that are less risky if not none at all, and some that are risky. In order to move forwards, one must be forward-thinking, head thinking of the goal in mind, no turning back, driven, all of which Ashley is, in order to be able to succeed, to be able to grow, to be able to make the love of his life happy once they settle down. Sure he's asked a few girls out and few turned down, but it didn't bother him. He had said it, made his peace, and knew where he stood, and that was important.

BIO
In the early days of his life, life was pretty much a piece of cake. He could enjoy life with his friends and family, have parties, buy presents, have the latest technology in keeping up with everyone else. It was all swell and relaxing, with Ashley feeling happy and comfortable wherever he was, whether it would be at school or at home. However, though he found it okay, his easy days were numbered as he then witnessed a divide between his parents. They'd been married for a number of years and loved each other for even more, but what was running through Ashley's mind was what happened? Why did the love go? as the Simmons household hit rock bottom with the divorce going through, his parents dividing themselves between him and the fees that cost them dearly, leaving the easy and simple life no more. All Ashley had to hang onto was Lila but the last thing he wished to do was cause even further pain, especially when not in the right state of mind.

Therefore, he decided to take his fathers' approach and look to the future. Right now, his parents couldn't help him as they had problems on their own, and that's when it hit him about enlisting to the British Armed Forces. Sure he had to fight and get mucky, but all that was for the greatest cause of all, to defend all those he love, whether they love each other or not. Even though he did not know why (only have suspicions), he did not wish any harm to come to either of them, and he couldn't split himself in two, so going to the frontline infront of them all seemed the best bet. Not only would it give him great respect by others, but also provided free education, so it all worked out perfectly. However, in doing such, it also caused a divide between him and Lila but it was for the best.

The Armed Forces didn't interest him in his early days since he had everything at his disposal; he had his parents, he was popular, rich, had the most beautiful girlfriend in the world, but each just broke apart, and he hated to disappoint, and hated to see people sad, which is why he was determined to fight, knowing he can at least make a difference in other people's lives in service as he left on tour. When he returned, he immediately decided to go to America and check out the schools there as going back will just be too much. However, all did not go to plan when the plane crashed, something else to add to his unfortunate list of things going wrong. Nevertheless, the plane had some precious cargo as it had brought Lila back to him. However, things were not the same as it was, but he did still love her, so very much, and for that reason, he would do all that it takes to get back with her, and have someone to hold and love again, which he hadn't done for the past two years. Sad :(
