Introduction
• The brutal 15 year war, between the Teyrianian Nobility of Siena and the Antolian Hierarchy of Parthnia. Ended in the domination of the Antolians and their homeland Parthnia. The Teyrianian Nobility, shortly after their victory, enslaved the Parthnians and built an empire, through the faceless and cruel act of slave trading. However, a group of Freedom Fighters, scrounged together through the efforts of an escaped slave, strive to crush the Teyrianian's dominion.
BASIC 15 YEAR TIME LINE
[Years 1-5]
[*]The Teyrianian Nobility invades Parthnia, waging a war against the Antolian Hierarchy.
[*]The war last roughly five years. In that time the Antolian Hierarchies forces are diminished. The Elite Heads of the Antolian Hierarchy eventually flee, seeking sanctuary within the smaller islands of the "lesser races", as well as, within the holy lands of Shangri-la.
[*]With the Elite Heads of the Antolian Hierarchy missing and unable to instruct their forces. The rest of the Antolian Hierarchies armed forces fall to the Teyrianian Nobility's military.
[Years 6-9]
[*]The Teyrianian Nobility spend the next four years enslaving the Parthnian nation. Forcing all captured soldier, their families and any forces that resist Teyrianian rule, into slavery.
[Year 10]
[*]One particular slave (who we know as Boss, Strude's character) manages to escape his enslavement and flees to Shangri-la. Where he spends the next year planning a three man incursion against a small newly built trading outpost, run and owned by a slave trading ring called Amber Wood. This location has low security, low traffic, and is easily accessed. Boss and his tiny team manage to rescue a small handful of slaves during their attack.
[*]One of the slaves they save is a member of the Antolian Hierarchy, a man/woman who was captured during the Teyrianian's campaign to enslave any resistance groups.
[*]This singular member of the Antolian Hierarchy, after his/her rescue, requests the continued aid of Boss (after hearing his plan to continue his efforts and save more slave and ruin the Teyrianians new business.) Promising him whatever supplies and extra hands s/he can offer, in order to help facilitate Boss's grand plan to crush the Teyrianian's dominion.
[Years 11-15]
[*]Boss slowly grows his forces over the next five years. Soliciting help from the lesser races, recruiting non-slave members, as well as, ex-slaves he has rescued. With the help of the Antolian man/woman he rescued.
[*]During this time Boss, with help, acquires a large ship, where he runs his Freedom Fighter group through. He has also has a few smaller ships, he gained via several of his non-ex-slave members.
[*]At the same time the Amber Wood slave trading group has become the leading, most powerful, trading company with the best and most secure facilities (Amber Wood owns almost all of the smaller trading groups and all slave traffic now goes through the Amber Wood Facility.) Which makes Amber Wood the prime target of the Freedom Fighters because once Amber Wood crumbles, so do the rest of the smaller companies that rely on Amber Wood.

[*]The Freedom Fighters Goal is to ruin the Amber Wood trading company because: "once Amber Wood crumbles, so do the rest of the smaller companies that rely on Amber Wood."
[*]The reason for ruining the Amber Wood company is because the slave trading rings are the one vice that the Teyrianian's have over all the other races. Once that block is broken the Elite Heads of the Antolian Hierarchy can once more retake their land.

The parties setting is loud and raucous, people move about without a care in the world and Jaclyn is all but ready to leave. She is the quiet type and doesn’t feel she fits in, but her ride has disappeared to the dance floor and she’s been left lone to tend to her drinks with a diligence of a girl looking to end the night passed out on someone's couch. She isn’t there yet, sadly, the female bartenders have been courteous enough to water down the drinks as the nights progressed effectively making the task of getting smashed a little too expensive—as it stands—to get as wasted as Jaclyn wishes.

Hahaha, it's okay - having a big world history just means that you're thinking critically about the role-play! And hahaha, I'm surprised that humans aren't a major race in the role-play. It's very interesting....lol
My thought-process is sort of dead right now because I'm really sick. ):
I should go out to get some medicine, but I don't trust myself to drive to the local pharmacy without getting into some accident. So...just gotta tough it out a little until I feel a bit better and can go get some meds or...until my friend has some free time to swing on over to the place to pick some up for me.... /sigh I hate being sick. :/

Yeah, I figured we has established some strong animosity between the two, so why not make them the two major races. For once a world where humans are lesser, as well as the elves and what not.
So everyone understand the basic history though. I didn't confuse people or anything . . . and by people I mean the three of us that actually post here! XD
I'm trying to work things out in my head. I really want to start the RP but I know that everything is so incomplete. My big issue is that I'm trying to organize everything and failing because shit is being complicated by my brain. I'm almost tempted to make a Gaia thread, work out my ideas, then post them where they need to go.
That or make a . . . SCORE! I'm going to make a thread here and work shit out. Because trying to mess with the little system, is making shit way to complicated. Not that it is. My head just tells me it is.

Whooo, finally caught up. Curse you school and work. Curse you Valentines Day and the masses you brought to my restaurant leaving me sooooooo tired!!!!!!! So, starting from what I remember......um....which is what just happened, I vote for the second major option. It makes things a bit more interesting to post in different locations depending on where people are. But, it kind of keeps everyone from knowing what's going on unless we post it somewhere on a general log to keep people updated. If that's what you said and I just missed it, then we're all good! ^^

- Post in one IC thread, separating our respect characters response, like we do on Gaia. We will then use each IC thread (under the location tab) simply to keep each locations information up to date. Such as appearance or, if the location is mobile, where it is located on the map.
- Each group of characters post in their respected location. Meaning if Beck is on the Bretta, I post with him in the Bretta IC thread and when he moves to a new location, I post in the new locations IC thread.This gives us the option of being able to post at different intervals, giving some of us the ability to post more than once every two weeks (given how many characters each player has and in how many different locations.)
However, this also means we have to keep a VERY CLOSE EYE on time frame. Which means EVERYONE HAS TO CHIP IN AND HELP KEEP ORDER, as well as, BEING ABLE TO MIRCO-MANAGE POSTING, DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, POSSIBLE SHIFTS IN TIME FRAME (though, no IC thread may move more than one day ahead or fall one day behind all the others; meaning if one IC thread moves to fast, then that IC thread stops till all other catch up.)
If we go this route I may divi-out an IC thread to each player and they are responsible for keeping the log of events for that thread up to date (preferably within 24 to 48 hours of new activity.) That player will also be the mod of the thread they monitor and are responsible for stopping players from moving more than one day ahead or falling on day behind in the time line, from all the other threads.

Timeline for the takeover of Parthnia? Or is this the timeline for how long the Teyrianians have been implementing their rules? But, I guess, either way, fifteen years sounds tight.

The homeland of the Antolians, which was forcefully taken from them by the invading Teyrianians.

The home island of the Elves.
Dyra
The home island of the Dryads.
Shangri-la
The holy land, no one country controls it, begrudgingly the Teyrianians abide by their worlds agreement and have not invaded Shangri-la.

- I don't plan to screw with their ages. I just need to decide which race ruled Parthnia before the Teyrianians invaded and enslaved the Parthnian people. Which is the start to the Teyrianians little slave trading business.
- Basically I figure there will be two large continents: Parthnia and Siena. Plus an array of tiny islands harboring smaller races. Siena is ruled by the Teyrianian Nobility, who have always been at war the [__???__] of Parthnia. Now the Teyrianian Nobility are basically like Nazis, they want a pure 'Teyrianian world' free of any impure races. Which include just about everyone except the clockworks and humans. Both smaller races but loyal to the Teyrianians. Unlike the other races who resist enslavement or refuse to partake in the slave trading business. Refusal or resistance is the equivalent of a declaration of war, at least to the Teyrianian Nobility.
I'm just not sure how to pace the timeline of events. I was going to go 300 years, but my ideas have changed. How about a 15 year timeline?

Well, I only have one race - other than humans - Dryad. I'm guessing that you also need a brief explanation of the characters?
Um, I'm going to be keeping all the facts of Dryads from the previous RP true. They're, typically speaking, isolated. They don't involve themselves with human (or outsider's) problems and people tend to, more or less, leave them alone. It's unusual that someone like Bisu would willingly join a cause like the Freedom Fighters. They're also regard elves as inferior creatures and find it a great insult to be mistaken for them. (They share SOME physical attributes such as elongated pointed ears, but are also very different). The Dryad race is a proud group of individuals who are also very immersed into culture and tradition. If anything, just think of the Dryad race as the wealthy elite who finds weird appreciation in beauty. Um, physically speaking, Dryads are usually very tall in stature (females average 5'11" and males 6'1"). They have very "noticeable" eyes - large and in very vibrant colors and very pale, porcelain-like skin. They're just like dolls, almost. Uh....what else? Um... oh, they have a long life-span. In this case, Bisu is only a "young adult." When a Dryad die, they are buried beneath a tree (in regular lore, Dryads are a particular type of Nymph...I just took a lot of creative liberalism to change shit around, lol). Half-Drayds, like the twins...are...uh, well, they're not exactly despised (so long as the half is NOT an elf), but they're also considered to be "outsiders." Half-breeds (of the Human variation) tend to have a significantly reduced lifespan. The twins' ages are equivalent to being 40-50 years old. Oh, interracial marriage between Dryads and Elves are considered to be taboo and...don't really happen. lol.

And haha, yay for flushing out of characters! I already started on some of them (mainly Aldrich and Bisu). I really like to develop characters (for some reason) so this site is just making my life so much happier. And no coding - ah, it's heaven. lolololol.

Yay for Beck! He's like God on a radioactive rabbit!!! Thusly...awesome.... I see what you mean though, I haven't really touched my characters in a while, so you've got a good idea on your hands. So, how does this work anyway? Do I have to get all the information for characters before I can actually post or something? Cause though this site is pure love, my brain feels like it's on fire ^^

- I have never really sat down to flesh out a character in a long time (not that I'm very good at it, unless I have played the character for a tiny bit.) But I started on Beck Felton's personality and damn do I like him . . . and at the same time I find it rather difficult to pin-point his character. @_______________@

- Okay, I figure I need to work out a few things before we start this RP. For example I need NAMES OF RACES. I have a basic history for the Seereeuh world, which I am typing up. Once I get some point form notes I'll post them and we can work other races (the ones you've all made, not my races) into the time-line.

You know what I think I'm going to restart my intro, I can now see the same problem from before starting here. Best we start from scratch, rather then get ourselves in the same mess as last time, with everyone being confused. Plus with a new system people are going to be even more lost (till they figure things out.)
