Introduction
Side Note: This Roleplay does take place in a fantasy world, but this world is close to Earth in the year 1350, so no cell phones or cars.
We now live in a world where wild animals are unbelievably scarce due to the amount of hunting and the habitat destruction. The whole of Terra is nearly dominated by nothing but humans. However, there are some animals left of the planet, living in secret. These animals have found a way to put up a mental block around humans and appear to humans to be human themselves. In doing this, these remaining animals have been able to keep their kind going, despite the difficulties that have been thrust upon them.
Now, some of the humans have slowly been discovering the fact that these animals still exist. Some humans have managed to befriend them, while others have chosen to hunt down and kill them, afraid that the human-dominated world will soon be re-dominated by revenge seeking wildlife of the past.
NOTE: Animals CAN see other animals, even if they're putting up a mental block against the humans. Animals will see animals disguised as humans as their actual self. For example, if my white wolf character sees a black wolf character that is disguised at that time, my character will see the black wolf. And vice versa.

OOC Notes
Rory poked his head out of his tent and sniffed the air. He was currently in a high mountain range, near the northern edges of Terra. It was still early morning, and the cool fog still hung in the air. Most of it was sinking though, running down the valleys like water. A slight, cold wind ran from the tops of the snow-capped mountains to the north and down to the south toward the rest of Terra. As Rory got out of his tent, all he could smell was the crisp mountain air and the various evergreen trees.
"Good."
Rory was about to do something he had never done in a very long time: shift out of his human form in order to go exploring for his map-making business. He was quite confident that there weren't any people around: this place he was in wasn't on any map except the one on a piece of parchment he was sketching on. The last thing he wanted was for somebody to see him and hunt him down. But... it had been so long since Rory had gone flying. He had almost forgotten what it was like. He missed flying. With one more quick look around him, Rory dropped his disguise and took off.
...and promptly crashed.
"Oh, into the wind, right..."
With that embarrassing moment out of the way, he took off the correct way and cautiously rose above the tree line. Rory started off towards the north, and suddenly his memories of flying all came back to him. Not all of these memories were all that pleasant, but he didn't have to worry about learning to fly all over again: he found he remembered all the techniques. Exhilarated, Rory continued to climb in altitude, surveying the mountains. As he passed the tall snow-capped mountains, he found even taller mountains beyond the ones he first saw completely covered with snow as far as he could see. The scale and magnitude of these mountains almost stunned him. Taking mental notes, he continued to survey the mountain range, occasionally sweeping over his camp site for a reference. He was so far above his campsite...
"Wait... oh, crap."
Rory suddenly realized that he was completely out in the open. And at high altitude, no less. Inwardly cursing himself for his stupidity, he quickly circled back down to his campsite and shifted back into his disguise. He tried taking the stress off by sketching the areas he discovered while in the air, but it didn't work too well. It didn't stop the flashbacks. The horror. The death...
Rory was rudely awakened out of his sleep by a big thud. It was a noise he had never heard before. His mom, who was with him in the nest at the time, had. She immediately went silent, flattened down, and turned to Rory. "Quick, hide, NOW," she said in a whisper. Rory was still too young to take anything seriously, so he hopped off the nest glided down to the ground, since he currently lacked good flying skills. He ended up landing in a pile of leaves left by the tree he lived in, burying himself. Rory was struck by a strange desire to play hide and see, so that's what he did.
And he would be forever grateful for that, for soon he would start to hear footsteps. And another big thud. Rory didn't know what that first sound was, but he didn't like it, so he continued to hide, peeking his head out of the edge of the pile. The footsteps got closer, and soon he could see strange creatures and hear angry words being spoken that he couldn't understand. They looked weird. Suddenly, Rory's mom squawked and took off. The strange creatures said more stuff, hurriedly this time, and one of them came forward holding an odd instrument.
CRACK!
It was the loudest noise Rory had ever heard, like a louder version of the thuds he heard earlier. Rory was completely stunned from the blast and lay quite unconscious for a time. When he came to, he looked around for the strange creatures. They were gone! He burst out of the leaf pile and called for his mom.
Nothing.
He tried calling for his dad. His friends. Anybody. Still nothing. He wandered around until he saw something on the leaves. Blood.
No. No! No no no no no NO!
Rory's sight got blurry. He didn't want to be here. He took off and flew awkwardly. He didn't care where. He just wanted to get away. So he flew. And flew. He flew as far as he could, until exhaustion took over and he blacked out...
Rory shook his head. He didn't want to think about that right now. Besides, he escaped once, and he could probably escape again. Maybe.
With his sketch completed, Rory packed up his things and made his way back down to his home village. Once back, he unpacked and started making real maps out of his sketches to sell. Despite being preoccupied, he still couldn't get the possibility of a discovery out of his mind...

They found me! Kyra thought as she jumped forward and started running. She could hear their heavy footstep thump, thump across the road, in her direction. She let out a scared but menacing growl at the humans that walked or almost ran into her. They, of course, have her a wide berth as she ran past them. She could feel their eyes on her as she ran away.
Kyra stopped and looked back for a second. There was at least four hunters after her and they were all men. She whirled back around and shot away from them, running as fast as her paws could take her. She turned around a corner and that's when she realized she was an idiot for going where they pushed her too. A net fell ontop of her, a wire net, the kind that was expensive to buy, very expensive. She tripped on her own paws and started to struggle, trying to get out of the net. She kept struggling until the hunter showed up. They laughed and talked until one of them kicked her on the haunches. She growled and tried to crawl away from them.

Alex's eyes opened to the light of the sun coming through the crack in the tree that he had taken shelter in during the night. He sneezed softly and groaned. "I'm getting sick again..." he said softly. It was a common occurrence for him seeing as Alex didn't have a home and every night was out in the woods. Even if he had been out here for years, his human body just wasn't use to the wild and so he was more at risk then the animals were...what was left of them that was.
The world had been devoid of almost all animals for far since Alex was born. Humans and animals once lived in coexistence that was strained but it was working. Humans would hunt, but they wouldn't' over hunt or over extend into the animals homes. Now all that existed were mostly domestic animals like cows and pigs which were used for food. Wolves and the like were all hunted down and killed for more room and for their pelts or other things of value, lie the tusks on an elephant.
Alex left the tree and stretched, wiping moss and the like off of him and he yawned. "So...where to move onto today?" he asked himself as he looked around. It was cold because of the mountain chilly air, but he was on his own with nothing to warm him up so he had to just ignore it. He started to walk along when he heard loud noises coming from far off and he heard what he sounded like someone or something in distress. He started to run, but quietly, not wanting to get caught up in it if he couldn't help it.
It was then that Alex saw the animal trapped and hunters around her. He didn't even have to think, Alex ran towards the men and shoved one to the ground, turning to another and he slammed his fist into the man's face. He turned to a woman that ran at him and just flipped her over his shoulder using her momentum. He then rushed over to the animal and made a defensive stand. "Come any closer and I will do worse!" He yelled at them. He then looked down and said, "Dont worry, I will get you out of this."

"Dont worry, I will get you out of this." Kyra's ears flicked backwards, hearing the words from the strange human that had just come and knocked down the gaurds. She growled uncertainly and started struggling, straining against the net, away from the humans. She wanted out, away from them to live and find some food. She was able to get onto her paws while still in the net but she could find no end to the net. she was confused, tired and very hungry.
Kyra felt it stir inside for a minute before her human shield came up. An average sized, red haired girl with light green eyes looked up at Alex from inside the net. She didn't know what to. First she was a tiger then all of a sudden she was a human girl and the next she was back in her normal form.

Alex watched as the hunters got back up, and they drew weapons since they were no longer stunned from a boy coming out of no where and attacking them. He watched them come closer, now a little worried. He had no weapons, he thought that if one was to fight, it was with their own body, not tools. He glared at them in a challenging way anyways, Alex coudn't back down now, not when he attacked them and they were going to hurt the tiger. "Come at me then." He said as one charged him. Alex moved to avoid a slash from a smaller ax and he put his hand into the mans side in a strong punch. He groaned in pain as he fell to one knee and then Alex kicked him to the ground as the woman came at him again, not using a weapon. Alex dodged her and she ran into a nearby tree since she couldn't' stop in time.
Alex ended up taking care of the rest of them, watching them run away since they couldn't beat him. He then looked at the tiger once more and said, "You have to stay still if you want me to get this off you." He said to her. Alex started working on the net, trying to unwrap her from it and get it away as soon as he could. He then got it off and threw it away from them, not but where anything else could get caught in it. "There...now are you okay?" Alex asked, hoping that she wasn't going to just run off, he had saved her after all.

Mikhail awoke from her tent, wearing her hunter clothing of fine silk and general like fashion that was uncommon in the years. She got out her tent and yawned, seeing that the other hunters had left without her in hope that they get something before her. This angered her, she was one of the best hunters around, though the only reason she went with the others is that she was having trouble finding more animals to kill. She though to herself what would she hunt when all the animals died? She shook her head and grabbed her whip she always kept close by. She put it on her strap, then to grab some trail mix and snack on it. She finished half of it when the hunters came running back scared.
She dropped the tail mix and growled, "Just go off without waking me up eh?"
One of the larger hunters caught his breath, "Sor- Sorry... There is... A man out there..."
Mikhail raised a brow, "Like a human?"
"Yes... Oh god..."
"He defeated all of you?!" she yelled in anger clenching her fist.
The other hunters nodded embarrassed.
"You! Give me your dagger!" she yelled snatching the dagger from the large hunter.
"Get out of here, if you can't handle one man, then don't bother hunting you blasted fools. You sicken me!" she said in a a harsh voice.
They all began to mop around the camp, though Mikhail was indeed on edge. She had the whip, the dagger, and she picked up the crossbow they came with with about eighteen arrows in a strap on her back. She was not going to let those animals get away, human or no human, to her, it was all apart of the hunt. She put a sly grin on her face and was about to leave the camp before stopping, looking back at the others and gave them the glare of failure.
She left the camp area, following the trail of broken branches the others made. She was now apart of the hunt, and boy, were they all gonna have something on there plate now.

Kyra stayed still until Alex got the net off her and jumped backwards, tripping over her own paws. She fell and landed on her side. She let out an annoyed yowl and stood back up. She turned her scared but fierce gaze on the boy. Her green eyes flicked between Alex and one of the closest weapons, a small axe. Afraid, Kyra ran up the tree closest and watched Alex from above. Just then she heard her own stomach rumble as she perched herself on a branch just above Alex.
For a second Kyra was human and then she was a tiger again. She didn't know how she kept doing that but she finally spoke. "Food?" She asked.

OOC Notes
It was a new day for Rory. The stress of yesterday's blunder had eased somewhat over the night, despite having fleeting yet terrifying dreams. They didn't bother him now, he knew they weren't real. What irked him is that, today, they were all memories from his past that he thought he had forgotten. He was relieved, though, after talking to some people who came to buy some maps that none of them mentioned seeing a strange bird flying in the northern mountains. This didn't prove that he was safe, of course, but he felt a little better.
After finishing up some business, Rory decided to remap some trails that he was told were in bad shape. One person even got mad that such horrible trails were even on the map. This bothered Rory to no end, as he already had a distaste for those kind of people. Regardless, Rory set off for this trail, with a goal of deciding whether or not it was salvageable by the village's rangers or not. His mood was soured the entire way there, but business was business.
When he got to the trail, as much as he hated to admit it, that one angry customer was right. This trail was a mess. Vines and roots had begun the process of taking the path over, making it difficult to see and hard to navigate without going very slowly. It almost looked like the last person to use it was himself last time he mapped this. He did find, much to his relief, that the trail as he found it followed the same path as it did before, so he at least didn't have to completely scope it out again. Some parts were better than others, but it was still full of roots and rocks. All in all though, he thought it was salvageable, so he intended to head back home and report his findings.
He did, at least, until he heard the sound of crunching leaves and footsteps behind him. Rory instinctively dove into the underbrush, despite having his disguise up. He normally didn't do this, but the events of yesterday still had him a bit on edge. He remained very quiet, and listened... and saw a tiger.
What, what? Another animal, here?
Rory would have stopped this tiger and tried to meet it, but more sounds told him there were more people. And he was right: four hunters were running in the same direction of the tiger. Rory silently cursed to himself and started fuming. This was so much like his past. He longed to go after the hunters but he knew he wouldn't stand a chance against them, being completely unarmed. Soon, he heard sounds of yet another person running in the same direction.
"What is this?" he thought, still fuming. "Is the parade coming though here, or what?"
This person, though, was definitely not a hunter. It seemed to him that this person was chasing in an attempt to stop the hunters! "You idiot human, you're going to get yourself killed!" Rory thought. After this person ran past him, the path seemed quiet. For now, at least. Rory cautiously left his hiding spot and surveyed the area. Yep, nothing. This didn't last long though, when yet another person started running down the path. He didn't hide this time, though, because once she saw him she yelled "You! Stop!"
Rory turned around, and instantly decided that he had nothing to worry about here. She was younger than he was, perhaps very early 20's, and wearing clothes that were... a little fancy for the occasion of running through the forest. Rory used his best unimpressed face and said "Yes, miss?"
The girl stopped right in front of him and had a confused look on her face. "You... You're not..." she gasped. She then let out an angry sigh of frustration. "Get out of my way!" she said angrily, and rudely butted past him and down the path where everybody else in Terra seemed to want to go.
Rory stood there for a minute, trying to understand what just happened. It was kinda funny, when he thought about it: first this trail falls to disuse, and when he tries to assess the damage the trail suddenly becomes wildly popular again. He was, however, very interested in what was going on, especially with that tiger being involved. He decided to follow everybody, but at a safe distance so he wouldn't be detected. He really wanted to help that tiger...

Kyra watched Alex from above, staying out of his reach. Her striped tail whipped from side to side carelessly. She was watching Alex alot more, now since she was hungry. She could eat him if she wanted to know but the only thing she ever killed before was mice or snakes, other then that she was fed raw meat that was already dead. Her stare grew more intense as she leaned downwards watching Alex's every move. She bunched her muscles, moving into a crouch on the branch and... right before she could attack she heard some twigs snapping from where she came from.
Kyra flicked her ears and jumped out of the tree out of fright and onto Alex. She went into a crouch right on Alex and when the crashing grew louder, she decided to hide. Well, at least try to hide. She was a terrible at finding hiding spaces she realized as she tried pushing her way into Alex's jacket. She was afraid. She was very, very afraid of getting captured and being sent back to her last master. Kyra let out a growl that ended with a whimper as she tried to hide inside Alex's jacket. If she were smaller, alot smaller, then it would probably have worked, but she was still in sight.

Alex watched the tiger as well, showing no hostility. He didn't want to scare her more then she was, and he didn't want to get eaten either. If a tiger decided to attack him then he was pretty much dead meat since she was going to be faster and stronger then he was. When she spoke of food Alex smiled and said, "Yes I have some food if you would like it." Before he could do anything though, she had shot down from the tree and tried hiding in his coat. For a moment Alex was scared that she was going to attack him, but she looked almost like she was trying to hide from something.
Alex then heard the noise and he gently put a hand on her and stroked her fur in a calming manner. "Hey girl, I wont let anything hurt you." He said. He looked to where the noise came from and he was ready for anything to come at him now. He had promised himself to protect any animal that wanted it, and this tiger was clearly in need of his help if she was this scared. Of course it was going to be really hard to defend her with the heavy tiger on him and he couldn't move anything but his arms.

Kyra didn't really know what to do. Alex's soothing voice helped for a second but then the noise got louder and louder. Kyra started to panic, but she really couldn't do anything to help it. She pressed herself closer to Alex, hoping she would blend, but of course, she didn't. That's when a small so delicious, stopped Kyra in her tracks. There was food somewhere near and it had Kyra's full attention. She pulled her head out of Alex's coat and her nose started twitching as the smell rushed into her nostrils. "Food." She said as she jumped off Alex and started to run in the direction of the food smell.
Kyra stopped for a second looking back at Alex but soon rushed away to find food. She was so focused on finding food she didn't notice the sheep until she heard them make sounds. Baa, baa, they called from a field just outside the forest. She smelt the air again and realized the smell was coming from the other side of them, but she couldn't help it. Kyra went into a crouch and started to stalk one of the sheep, a small lamp that had probably been alive for a month. Her green eyes locked on it as she bunched her muscles, ready to pounce.

Alex smiled as he noticed the tiger was starting to calm down now, but of course he didn't really know what her next move was going to be with the noise getting closer. Before he knew it though she was running off after food. Alex got up and looked towards the noise, thinking it was best to get away from it since it sounded like someone coming and he didn't know who. It could be more hunters since he let the last batch go. No matter what, he never found himself able to kill hunters, just punish them for their actions.
Alex ran off after Kyra, but he stayed a distance behind since he didn't want to ruin her kill. He watched her and wondered how long she had been out here. Tigers were rare in this world, but even more so in this area of Terra. He wondered if she had escaped or something, or if she was going to let him near after she had made her kill. The tiger seemed nice before only because she was so scared, but now she might not be so nice to him. Alex kept his eyes peeled for anything that might be out of place...like more hunters.

Kyra was ready to pounce, to make her very first big kill when she scared some bird that she thought might be a chicken. It jumped out of the bushes it was hiding and started running for the village, making panicked cluck, cluck noises as it ran away. The sheep noticing the chicken's retreat, lifted their head and started to move away from where Kyra was. Angry and irritated, Kyra stood up and sat down heavily on her haunches.
Then it came over her again for about five minutes, her human disguise just came up. When her five minutes as human were over she noticed Alex was watching her. She growled and just watched the human curiously but always on her gaurd. She knew any human in the world can be harmful and most of them were. Her tail moved from side to side, slowly as she watched Alex. Her chance for food was long gone and her last option was Alex.
Hesitantly Kyra approached the human and stopped until she was about four feet away. "Food?"

Alex watched the tiger fail at hunting down some food and then he watched the tiger come back and stop near him and ask about food again. "I have some food." He said. He reached into his pack and he brought out some fresh meat, well as fresh as last night was. Even if he hated it so, he had to eat meat to live, he was human after all. Alex only killed the animals that were unintelligent after years of human breeding, such as cows. He didn't want to harm them, but he had to. He slowly walked a bit closer and put the meat down on the ground. Alex then backed up from Kyra and he waited to see what she would do. It wasn't much, but maybe it was enough to keep her from eating him right now. "My name is Alex, and I am a friend." He said to her with a kind smile. He hoped that she trusted him enough to at least not run away or attack him.
OOC Notes
"You... You're not..." she gasped. She then let out an angry sigh of frustration. "Get out of my way!"
This was not going well for her... She was indeed to frustrated to simply stop and wonder why another human, was around in the forest. It was too late now, but she made a mental note, that whether it's an animal, a hunter, a animal in hiding, she was not taking anymore chances. The one back there was very lucky, for even if she thought it was a hunter, she would of killed him to stop his chances of getting the game. Why, she spared him, she would never know. A sigh left her, as she jogged though bushes, under branches, over large roots till she found some high ground and a small opening from all the trees.
She checked her weapons... Whip, dagger, crossbow, everything was in order, arrows, yup... She smiled slightly, seeing that least one thing went as inspected. First the hunters, then the random human, finally she can have some sort of order in the hunt. Though, now she was really beginning to wonder if it was a human in hiding... She growled to herself looking at the crossbow... She then took a arrow from her strap, and began loading the crossbow looking out of the empty area of no life but trees. Just trees, hardly any animals, no animals, she had yet another moment of what would happen when every last animal would be gone. She finished loading and stepped out from hiding, sliding down from her hill and into the small opening of grass. She looked up into the sky, to hope for once to see a flying one, she had not gotten one of those in years.
She then heard something in the bushes... Her eyes looked over, but her body stayed still, as if she had no clue it was there. More rustling, small and fast. She gripped her crossbow and grinned, indeed, there was an animal... She loved it when they came after her, she always got board chasing them down. She played stupid, her head up looking at the sky, waiting. The animal, in the bushes, a wolf, eyed her carefully, having the instinct that if she was not dead that her pack was in danger. Simply playing dumb would not work, she had to real it in. So she yawned and knelt down slowly to but the crossbow down, the dagger ready. The wolf saw this and thought that she had a better chance.
She was about to attack when a grin popped on the young hunters face and she threw the dagger into the bushes, stabbing the wolf in the leg. A yelp could be heard, Mikhail picked up the crossbow and charged to the bush to find a young girl with a dagger in her leg. She blinked at her. The wolf changed to human form, must of thought that she would think she was human all along.
"Ow... Why... Did you hurt, a fellow human?" the wolf asked, hoping that Mikhail would leave.
Mikhail grinned and shoved the crossbow on the wolf's cheek. It was hopeless for her to keep up the 'don't shoot, I'm a human' act... For she began to wimpier like wolfs did. Mikhail almost wanted to laugh.
"Stupid animal... You really thought you could outsmart me? I'll tell you what, I won't kill you..." she said putting the crossbow down.
The wolf girl looked up at her, surprised, still full of fear and pain, by the dagger in her leg.
"Though I do want that back." she said before pulling out the dagger and letting blood gush out.
The wolf screamed in pain, before slowly returning to her animal form, and the blood kept going. Mikhail laughed at the animal and put the dagger back.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure to say hello to your pack." she said before walking off, still hearing screams and howls of pain.
She didn't walk off completely, she hid, hoping the cries of pain would attract the rest of the pack that was no doubt close by, or even better, other animals, being that there are so few, she hoped this stupid wolf, would be perfect bait. She couldn't stop smiling at the pain... It soothed her, like how babies are soothed their mothers, she was soothed by cries of pain of animals...
"Delicious..." she whispered.

Kyra looked at the piece of meat and without thinking, lunged forward sinking her teeth into it, swinging it from side to side, as if it was still alive, and swallowed it whole. She looked back at Alex and stared at him, for a second. "Ah-liss? Alis? Alis." She said just as her human disguise came on.
Kyra looked at her hand in a amazement and looked back at Alex. She had never spoken the word Alex before but she did know other words. "Kyra. Kyra. She is Kyra." When she said 'She' Kyra pointed at herself. She always did that. Mention she as her 'she' instead of using the word 'I'. She blinked when her human form slipped and she was back in her tiger form.
That's when she heard the screaming. She let out a yowl and jumped forward tackling Alex to the ground again, but this time she closed her eyes, leaning her face into his chest.

Alex smiled and said, "Its nice to meet you Kyra." He didn't realize that she couldn't speak English, all the animals that he knew before her could. Well that wasn't a problem, he could teach her if she wanted to learn, of course that was up to her if she was even going to let him be around. He watched her shift from her human form back to her natural one. He wondered how long she had been out here on her own like this, a tiger couldn't find in that well could it?
Alex heard the screaming as well and before he could do anything he felt he was on the ground again and Kyra was trying to hide on him again. "Shhh, its gonna be okay." he said and stroked her fury gently. He looked as well as he could towards the noise and he knew it was someone or something in pain. He hoped it wasn't another animal being hurt by some hunters. "Listen...we have to either go farther away from the noise or go see what happened, but we can just sit here if hunters are near by." He said to her, hoping she understood.

Rory was still moving cautiously when he heard the scream. He recognized it at once. A wolf. Rory's world, it seemed, was spiraling out of control. It was the first time he had seen animals in a long time, and now two of them were probably dead. Oh his watch, no less!
Rory remained crouched in the bushes, trying to decide what to do. There were just too many unknowns. Where was the tiger? Where were the four hunters? Where was the guy chasing the hunters, and what did he want? Where was... that one girl? Who was she? Rory didn't like it, and he certainly didn't want to be on the wrong end of a weapon again. He would have turned back, but then he heard another voice in his head. A familiar voice. He then knew exactly what to do. "There's no way I'm just going to let another animal die," he thought, gritting his teeth. He set off, very quietly, toward the sound of the scream.
He spotted it, still bleeding from one of its hind legs, on the ground. He wanted to be as quiet as possible, so he snuck up behind the wolf, then grabbed its snout from behind. The wolf tried to scream, but couldn't. Rory turned the wolf's face toward him and shifted out of his disguise just for a second, hoping to gain the wolf's trust. "Shhh..." he whispered, letting the wolf go. Thankfully for Rory, the wolf stayed quiet, but looked incredibly confused. Rory took some parchment that he had in his pack and quickly closed the wolf's wound as best he could, making a vice-like knot around it. Rory then knelt by the wolf and whispered in its ear. "We're probably being watched. I know you probably can't walk very good, but you need to get out of here. Whichever way I go, you go the opposite. Now, go."
Rory cautiously picked up his things and started sneaking toward where he thought the tiger went that he saw earlier. By now the most important thing to him was finding where this tiger was and seeing if it was safe. If he could find it, that is.

Kyra was really afraid. She had been beaten and hurt alot her entire life and thats basically how she lived her life, in fear of humans. She heard Alex talking but she couldn't put the words together, all she thought of was the screaming from other animals as she hid at the corner of her cage when she was on the black market. Kyra growled and slowly moved away from Alex and in the opposite direction of the screaming. "Alis. Away. She and Alis away from noise." She said to Alex and started to move away again.
OOC Notes
Alex listened to her as she got up and he knew Kyra was trying to tell him to head away from the noise. "Alright then." he said to her as he got up. There was no point in going and getting two animals hurt when one was safe now. He fallowed her quickly since she was already on the move and if she started to run he might not be able to keep up for long. "Kyra, where did you come from?" he asked her as he walked with her, wondering because every animal had a different story and he wanted to know what her's was. Alex would share with her if she shared with him, and of course he just might anyways so she might feel more safe around him with him being open towards her. She seemed to trust him enough to let him come with her, telling him to go away form the noise with her and all.
OOC Notes
Kyra paused for a moment as she quickly walked away. Where did she come from? She didn't really know, herself and didn't know what to say. She licked her lips as she started thinking of what to say. Finally she was able to force herself into her human form and talk.
"She had many homes. Many masters. Always in cages. Always in chains. No food for days. No water for days. No family. Family left her behind." She spoke softly as she walked, making no other noises. "Humans found her. They take her. Hunters. Hunters give her to Masters. Masters didn't want her. Masters gave her away. Master buy. Many sunrises ago. Many sunrises, she ran. Ran from her Master. Master got angry. Hunters come after her. This sunrise, Kyra meet Alis." She said, trying to sum up her entire story in a few sentences.
After talking Kyra was back in her tiger form. She sighed and started to jump from spot to spot instead of walking.

Alex listened to her speak and he felt bad for her. She had been a caged animal most of her life it seemed, and abandoned by her family, he hoped they had a good reason. Alex started to walk faster to keep up with her. "My story isn't that much better. I started traveling after my father killed my best friend. She was a wolf name Felicity, and she and I were friends since I was a child." He said softly. He shook his head, not wanting to think about her death. Just the thought of it made him feel sick with sadness of the loss of losing his best friend.
OOC Notes
Whats this? Oh good... Mikhail kept still in her hiding place, her crossbow ready to fire at any moment. The screaming had stopped, she saw, another, from the bushes... The leafs in her way and in the way of the bait stopped her from recognizing who came to save the wolf. Never the less, if she can throw a dagger into the leg of animal without seeing it, a crossbow should be easier. She was about to fire, knowing that she injure the savoir and simply run out of the bushes to clam the kill. Though, she realized something, this animal, came to save the wolf, quicker than expected, and alone, so it was not her pack. Gears were turning and her sly smile changed, she had a game plan.
The injured wolf would not be able to go far, plus, even if it were to live, such an injury with nothing more but what the world has to offer her for help will not heal it completely. It's life will be in misery, and that's all Mikhail had to think so she could refuse the temptation to kill. She had a much better chance at something way better. Following this animal, would give her access to the rest. If it knew and could get to animals in so quick of time, the hunt would be so much better. With her eyes locked on, she never let the figure out of sight, she could envision it in her mind, with her years of hunting and watching and tracking, she had this in the bag.
As she notice the animal slowly leaving the area, she stepped out of her cover, and slightly, he boots never making a sound, creepily she followed, with the grin of hers, and the blood lust look in her eyes of shattered memories and vengeance filling her up like adrenaline... She wanted to kill something so bad...

OOC Notes
Kyra was half listening to the human's chatter when she spotted a a bug. She didn't know what it was but it had long green back legs and its eyes were bulging greenish yellow specks, and it had these bumps on its back. She went into a crouch and started to jump at it but every time she lunged for it, it jumped out of the way. Her concentration was on catching the frog but when Alex said wolf, she snarled as she tensed and looked around thinking there was a wolf nearby. She disliked wolves. One of her masters used to have a whole horde of them and she was the only tiger there. Sometimes her master would throw her into an arena with some wolves and watched as they fought with her. She didn't like them at all.
Kyra looked at Alex, thinking he might be a spy. She didn't really think of this until, mostly because of her fear and hunger pains.

OOC Notes
Alex watched her turn around and he could fell that she wasn't happy with him after he mentioned a wolf. "She isn't around anymore...my father killed her when he found out I was friends with her. This was back when I was a child." He said. Alex didn't know why she was looking at him like that, but he was going to explain anyways since he didn't want her to think he was in with some wolves that wanted her or something like that. He watched her now, worried that she might turn on him and attack even after he had done so much to show he wasn't a threat. Alex sighed softly and he got into his bag and took out some berries and ate a few, seeing as he hadn't eaten all day.

It was my understanding that Kyra got the pan, came back inside, and talked from the house. I surely don't want to leave Kyra! If I'm wrong, I'll edit my post, just let me know. :D

A sequal could be fun, but we need to get along with this one first
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Codemater23? I think there should be a sequel to 'Animals, Friends or Foe?'. It would be really interesting... :P
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
@BlueWind: I kinda had to extrapolate a bit regarding Kyra's status on my last post. If I've said anything inaccurate, let me know and I'll correct my post.
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Sorry guys for forgetting... after no one posted for a few days, I just though it died...
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Seeing that no one has said or changed anything to the edited post I forewarned I will post. Leaving half of Mickhail and Rory post irrelevant we can just pretend and go on with the story that will have a gap of confusion if anyone went back to read.

Is anybody waiting on me to post? I'd post now, but I was thinking it would be more fair to let Scarlet post before me, but if anybody's waiting on me I can go ahead and post today. :)
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Um hey. About the whole knee in the gut thing... I edit that post before anyone posted cuz I did not like the idea if putting mickhail in harms way when she is still weak. So sorry. I didn't think this prob would come up if I edit before someone else posted.
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Hey, you're the GM, so feel free to toss plot points/twists or crazy NPCs at us. :P
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
I'm hoping to add something in there, maybe something to do with the humans that are currently looking for Kyra.
Im just waiting for Bluewind (take your time :3) to post before i do. I dont want to godmod unless I have to.

Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Haha, don't feel bad bluewind, I just recovered from a holiday food coma myself. :P
@Scarlet: that's a good idea. Maybe codemaster has a plot twist up his sleeve? ;)

Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Merry Christmas and all that jazz...
Question! Is it all right for I to make another character? For the sake of making another climax in the story latter on?

Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
For the record... I am nothing like this in real life. I love animals... Truly... I just thought I try being the bad guy for once.
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Oh, no, you can do whatever you want! I just wanted to make sure you didn't feel like I was trying to limit you in any way. I'm already in enough trouble for that. ;)
Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
Scarlet fail....
Okey okey... well... I never been in this situation so as the character, the pain could be feeling more than the person giving it. So, think of it as like, a burn mark. It hurts, then it hurts a lot!!! Then it dies down. She will recover, but, the way Mickhail reacted to it, that will stay as planned, for she is one to be a but... Um... Crazy.

Re: [OOC] Animals, friends or foes?
@scarlet: I didn't mean for the knife wound to be that debilitating: just a little present from my character to yours. Don't feel like you have to go limping the rest of the rp. :P
