Personality

Being a demon, he has always thought it an innate behavior to hate humans. He believes they should be subordinate to demons, and serve them. Lyon has sworn to rip apart any human he comes into contact with. His radical anti-human beliefs lead him on murderous rampages at times. He goes so far as to kill the closest minion he has near him at the time. Even so, he feels all blood spilled is only a fraction of what any single human deserves.

When approaching a human, he will attempt to kill it immediately. Should they propose a greater threat then usual, he would look on them with great respect, and may even give them a chance to live. They may be valuable assets in the future...
When approaching a demon, preferably a sentient one, he will greet them, not with kindness, but with a friendly indifference. If the demon is hostile, he will attempt to incapacitate, or kill it if necessary it. A friendly demon, he may wish to do the same, but will not, feeling that an ally is better then an enemy at the present state.
When approaching anything in between, he can feel very agitated if they approach him further. He generally dislikes the "undead", and would rather just see them dead.

Equipment

While adept at most areas of melee weaponry, except bludgeons, he prefers to carry a ninja-to. Hanging from a sheath on his waist, it almost reaches the floor. He never uses the sword unless he realizes death is a certainty without using his weapon. He may even pick up a sharpened piece of a bloody eyeglass lens on the floor and jab something in the neck if it means not taking out his sword for use. On his left hand, however, is a gauntlet with a retractable dagger. He rarely wears the glove around his own kind, but has used it for executions of humans who were just a little too curious.

History

Born almost a millennium ago, he has seen the world of the humans develop from the feudal societies, to the industrial revolution, and up to now. During those times, he studied up on the humans, wanting desperately to walk in their shoes, and be just like one of them. One day however, his viewpoints were changed. He realized that humans were a waste of flesh and blood. They walked the land with an undeserved sense of pride. There flesh should have been used on the beasts that he hunted. So, that's what they became to him. Beasts. He persecuted them as they persecuted him and his kind for centuries. As a dragon, he could do no more then turn up in tomes, as a fictional beast. He grew tired of such things. He wanted to show them just how fictional he was. But, instead of kill them off and be killed off himself by those above, he tried to walk with the humans, watching what they were doing to everything around them, and themselves. When the end war came, he took pleasure in ripping apart the world. His actions would have made him a General of the Legions. If it weren't for one action...
During the days he spent with the humans, he fell in love. Previously being opposed to humans and their kind, he thought this would never happen, but it did. It was short lived however, as another human threatened their- her life, and held them at gunpoint. One round was fired, and Lyon took the bullet, with nothing happening, another shot, and another. Lyon still stood, and in a few seconds, the two were the only ones that stood. She, however, not understanding what happened ran off, and that was the last of that. Lyon's supposed "self-sacrifice" earned him the status of risen demon, scarring his name in hell, and the "demon" part, keeping him from heaven.
