Introduction
History
When the world first began, the Goddess, Lucretia, ruled the world with a kind and gentle heart. She gave the humans what they needed and provided peace. The king of Lyractul was hand picked by the Goddess herself. She was very busy with keeping the world in check, and need someone with good heart and strong sense of justice. The king was all that and more. He gave the kingdom his all and protect the humans from hunger and poverty. But then worst happened. A woman appeared at the castle one day. She promise power and greatest to the king if he helped in her quest to unlock dark magic. The thoughts of power corrupted his judgment and did what she told him. He started to have the guard kidnap people for sacrifices for the woman and the land grew dark with evil. The Goddess became worried. She wasn't sure what was happening to her king and decided to investigate. When she came down, she was in horror of what she saw. The dark magic the woman was trying to create was to be use to overthrow the Goddess. The Goddess demanded who was responsible for such an evil plot. The woman appeared and revealed her identity. She was Iolatta, Lucretia's older sister, who was banished from the heavens for the study of dark arts. It was right there and then began the 100 year war. For a hundred years, Lucretia and Iolatta gathered forces to fight for the control over the land. Iolatta created a form of dark magic that corrupted the souls of creatures and humans and they became hateful and disgusting beings, used to fight against Lucretia's forces. The war went on and in the end, Lucretia won. Iolatta swore revenge and disappeared into the shadows. Peace was restored and the darkness slowly faded. But war didn't go without it effecting the land. The creatures that Iolatta used to fight become a permitted resident in the world and the out villages of the kingdom offended faced attacks by them. When the new king was elected, he established a school to train children to fight these monster and keep order. It has been 500 year since the opening of the school.....
The School
The Academy of Lucretia is name of that school. At a very young age, potential students are selected and their parents are informed. If the parents of the child approve, the student is picked up and ride to the school. They will live there till they graduate in co-ed dorms. When they enroll into the school, the children are ranked an 'apprentice'. Students are trained in combat and strategies to fight the monsters. Once they reach a certain age, they must take a test to rank up into a new class. The test consist of two parts: a written part to test your knowledge of what you've learned and a skill test, to rank your skill level to place you in your class if you pass. Once you pass the test, you are place in one of four classes; Duelist, Gunslinger, Scholar, and Priest. The ranking system after that is simply a star systems. Gain five stars and you can graduate. While in school, teams are made from one of each class to go on missions to help town townsfolk. The missions are also in the star system (Ex: One - Errands, Two - Aid the Sick, Three- Protection Detail, Four- Monster Hunting. Five- War).
Plot
It seems that dark creatures are increasing in number and students are constantly over run by them during missions. Rumors of the second coming of the hundred year war are spreading. Many have ran in fear of it and there are some that see this as a chance to prove themselves....
Heroes
Our heroes are ones of those few. All of them have just made pass apprenticeship and have started in their classes. They are a team that was chosen to work together and are showing great promise. And they are:
The Duelist - Master of the art of sword fighting. His strength and footwork have prove him to be a worthy foe. His name is (insert name here).
The Gunslinger - A user of the most resent upgrade of the Archery class; guns. Her quickness and sharp eye cause her to be a deadly ranged ally. Her name is Felicia Lee Kurati
Scholar - He was picked at a very young age to be a Scholar. A user of magic, his intelligence and wisdom helps his allies with back up and support. His name is (insert name here).
Priest - She is the the epitome of kindness and goodness. She has the power to heal other to assist in battle. A must need in a group, she gives the group a more gentler look. Her name is (insert name here).
Technology
Basically, no TV, or electronics. Carts and wagons pulled by horses. Guns are a new invention and the start of using water to power machinery.

Rules
Hey Everyone and thank you for taking the time to actually read the rules! This is my first time making a roleplay on this website so I hope it goes well. Please be patient with me for I am learning as I go. On to the rules!
1. Stick to Your Character - I have done this before and I've seen it done time and time again. When you type actions and speak as your character, please do it a fashion your character would do so. No mutes that suddenly speak because it's convenient. And no hardcores going soft UNLESS they have a good enough reason that is in the character sheet.
2. No God-Modding or Auto-Hitting - No "I hit you, you fall to ground" without letting the other character response to the attack. And no "I jump 50ft in the air for the first time to dodge an attack" We are all humans here, just highly skilled.
3. Respect Your Fellow Roleplayers - We all come here to do the same thing; have an enjoyable experiences in a roleplay. I don't care if your characters are in a fight or hate each other at the moment. Don't start in with the puppet masters. I don't want to have to setting a fight by kicking people out, you got me?
4. Post Regularly - I have a bad case of no posting; I will admit it. That is why I am only asking to post at least once per week. Please be literate; at least 10 sentences per post. Also post in the right places
5. Applying - Apply like normal but break these sections into these parts: Description - Appearance/Clothing/Other(items or pets), Personality- Basic/Like/Dislike/Fear and Equipment - Weapon/Other. Also send me a roleplay sample through pm. Also everyone should stay in the same age group....it will be about beginning high school age
6. Follow the storyline - I made this story and I'm going to be working hard to make it work. I want to stick to the plot and straying can cause lost of my interest. Mini plots are acceptable if passed by me first....
