Arcadia Wolves

Arcadia Wolves Open

"Tonight we will feast in our enemies blood! We will tower amongst them and take back what is rightfully ours! We will take back the valley, once and for all." And the wolves took up a howl, that rocked the very earth around them.

[.:|Current Plot|:.]
In a world where humans no longer exist, and the wolves of the wilderness have gathered into two separate packs, a war rages over who will control the flourishing valley that marks the middle of the two forests. In this valley, the prey runs free and makes its way around a river that divides the two packs. Eastern Pack, with there coats aglow with the fiery fierceness that looms in a wolf's heart. They are strong willed and will never stray from the chosen path in front of them. Western Pack, with the same fiery fierceness, they will never stop from getting what they want, and will do what ever they must to survive, even if this means starting a war that has been foreseen for years before.

[.:|Wolf Race|:.]
Wolves have progressed to have a language of there own, though they still walk on all four legs and don't have any weapons, or clothes of such. They have grown considerably, the difference between an Alpha and a packmember differs in almost half a foot in height. Alpha's are trained from the time they are pups, and the next Alpha for a pack would be the heir of the current Alpha and Alphaess.

[.:|Pack Ranks|:.]
In order from highest to lowest..
Alpha - Alphaess (The highest ranking, usually mates) , Beta(The 2nd in command) , Subordinates(Packmates; warriors along with hunters) , Pups(The adolescents and children of the pack.)

[.:|Open Ranks|:.]
-Subordinates (Eastern Pack CLOSED - Western Pack OPEN)
-Pups (Both packs, always open.)

Morning had yet to dawn upon the embankment of the Great River that flowed through the tresses of the valley - separating the two packs. Though still, a few wolves were awake in the coming of the sun, watching as the birds slowly fluttered through the air on the first brisk clouds of spring. Yes indeed, the time of the packs had come. The strong cry of the eagle as it swooped down to catch its morning meal, the whisper of the wind in the fresh green leaves, the rumble of a hungry packs stomach. Though one of these would be changed in the coming months, but however not yet. The course of time would bring the war about, as it had been foretold so many long winters ago.

However, here stood a wolf with power; a wolf with pride. His head risen to the sky in hopes of catching a glimpse of what awaited their fate. The Alpha of Eastern Pack - Relic. His fur moved with the strong wind that blew out across the valley before him. From his spot atop one of the many hills near their den site, you could see all the way down to the Great River and beyond. What he could also see was the coming of the deer. The prey that supported his pack and made sure that they would live to last another winter. But it was times like this, that he wondered if his pack would be able to get their next meal, if they would be supported through these times.

His body would tense at the notion, his tail swishing against the hard ground beneath him, his paws caked in fresh unfrozen dirt and the wonderful smell of spring all around him. He would have to wait for now, wait for his pack to awaken. He was going to take them out on a hunt this very morning, give pride to his pack and also to himself. Provide for those lower than himself, like all Alphas should. With this he rose his maw to the skies above himself, tempted ever so to howl to the high heavens of what he had planned. But he refrained from doing so, instead relaxing as he shook his shoulders to clear some of the stress from them. He stood up, shaking his fur in the process and turning from the wondrous view before him to look back down upon the sleeping camp that was home to Eastern Pack. Soon enough, they would feast, and then he could rest.

The fresh scent of the evergreen was always what she enjoyed being woken with. Wrapped around her the mosses and leaves crackled a little as she shifted, a yawn coming across her. The sky above, blue and yet flaking with red and orange, seemed to calm her almost immediatly worried spirits. She couldn't help but open her jaws to take a deep breath, tasting the air in hopes for a sign of something decent to eat. The she-wolf paused, bedazzled by a large eagle while it expertly grabbed a snake in its talons. As he stood, shaking her bedding from her golden pelt, she couldn't help but wait and just stand, enjoying the whistling and humming of the wind against the valley walls.

After stretching carefully Russet, also known as Spark, lightly, silently paddled through her sleeping comrads to the edge of their cuarters. Her startling crystal blue gaze found Relic, and her eyes immediatly softened. One couldn't imagine what it would be like to have to lead a pack through such a troublet time, just wishing he could feed them a meal to quench their growling stomachs. Deciding against following him to the hill, the she-wolf sat in a patch of sunlight to bask in its warmth. The rays almost made her pelt sparkle against the drab colors of the valley morning. She worked to think of everything but her hunger, her anticipation for a hunt; for now, she'd have to be patient. But for how long she could, she didn't know.

Barely a soul stirred in the sun-drenched western half of the valley, as if all life was holding its breath as the sun slowly rose from behind the eastern edge of the valley. Within the shadowed expanse of the forest, a deer snorted loudly as it bedded down for the morning. The young, yet healthy-sized buck kicked at the twisted and gnarled roots of a great oak, unaware of the pair of electric blue eyes watching it from the shade of a tree. The vague, darker shadow showed the profile of a tall, efficiently muscled wolf. Barely moving a muscle, the large male patiently, yet hungrily, waited.

Lupin, the son of Julianos Strong-swimmer and Lycana the Outcast, and Alpha of the Western Pack, stared intently at the buck, watching for the perfect time to strike. He was alone, having woken up before the sun even showed its first rays. Concern for the well-being of his pack was what most likely had him awake and alert so early, when he had caught the scent and heard the sounds of a buck foraging not far from their chosen sleeping area. Eager to provide substantial nourishment for his pack after a hard winter spurred Lupin into stalking the buck immediately. Since he was alone, Lupin knew he had only one chance to strike and get the kill; if he attacked at the wrong time, the buck would escape, or worse: gore him with those formidable antlers. When the buck started to kneel down into the slight hollow it had dug, Lupin crouched against the earth slowly, his ears and tail erect.

Everything seemed to stand still in the weak morning sunlight as Lupin started to lunge just as the deer turned its head towards the trunk of the oak, exposing its jugular. Lupin was in a state of flawless perception. He was uniquely aware of every sound, scent, and movement around him in those few moments before his powerful jaw clamped onto the perfectly vulnerable jugular. Though the vital artery was almost surely severed, Lupin hung on fiercely and allowed his momentum from the lunge to bring his compactly muscled body into the deer, removing any possibility of flight for his prey. After a few moments of feeble struggling, the unfortunate buck was quite dead.

A joyous and proud feeling crept up into his chest, as he released the deer from his jaws, licking his bloody maw hungrily. Though he was the Alpha and had taken down the prey, Lupin would not eat any of it until the rest of his pack had their share. Licking the blood from his maw once more, he yawned hugely, a small, yet deep and content rumble coming from his throat as he sat back on his haunches, ears flat against his head. Lupin reared his head back and uttered a low, almost mournful howl that lasted for a long while. The howl would echo clearly throughout the entire valley, and all would know it was a summoning of the Western Pack to their Alpha, as every wolf's howl was unique. Lupin's howling told the story of his hunt, since almost every howl is a story of some sort. What better way to communicate and tell fellow wolves of danger, happiness, or just to pass the lonely hours of solitude than howling?

Koda's ears twitched. He eyes opened ever so slightly, enough to see a figure walk past him. He closed his eyes again before opening them once more. He blinked a few times before quietly getting up and shaking off the leaves that hung onto his fur. Licking his messy fur into place he slowly, walked past the others who were still asleep and took a quick peek at the sun. His head tilted at the sight of Spark and the alpha but didnt make a single sound. After a moment of just staring he quietly walked over, his head bowed low to show respect.

He would sit near the shades, but at the same time, let a bit of the sun's ray shine down on his fur. His eyes closed halfway at the warmth. Koda peered down where the valley was, licking his fangs, he sat there waiting for the other pack members to get up. His tail will swing side to side every now and then, just out of boredom. His ears then perked at the sound of a howl. Koda well knew it was probably from the Western pack. He eyed his alpha before resting his gaze elsewhere.

As a light breeze carried over the cool air from the Great River, some wolves shuddered in their sleeps. They would soon wake up, soon enough for the hunt not to be called too late...
The breeze washed through Oki's back fur, caressing it lightly like the paw of a cub. He did not feel the cold though, not after he had warmed his body up by walking around on his guard, shortly after he had woken up. Sure, it was not his duty today and now, another wolf of the pack had been assigned it, but that did not matter. As the Beta of the Eastern Pack he had to be aware of all possible threats, and what would be better than seeing for himself?
There seemed not to be anything close to the pack, so he would have to check a wider range. After briefly checking his direct surroundings one last time with his eyes, he closed them and took in a deep breath.
Only moments after an image had formed in his mind, a perfect replication of his surroundings, created with the scents of things alone. First, the ground under his feet. Next, the trees, the pack sleeping, Relic, the Alpha, standing a bit away, out of his vision field, and Spark was with him. The surrounding forest was empty save for some insects and small animals, animals that weren't worth hunting down, for they were too small...
He also used his ears, starting to perceive the many noises that were made everywhere around: the pack's wolves and cubs moving in their sleep, the winds rushing through the tree branches, the far-away Great River... yes, the forest was alive, he had always known. Even when nothing was to be heard normally, by simply concentrating a bit one could hear the hundreds of little noises again.
Breathing out, he reopened his eyes, and saw the trees in front of him, the ground below him, the leaves lying on the ground. There was prey a little time away from them, good enough to hunt later, and no imminent threats. Today the forest was calm.
With a good mood he went back to the pack and sat down, waiting for the others to awake. It would not last long, not anymore.

Rayuska had been awake for some time now, and had finally decided to get up and find her mate; Shaking her thick fur out, the alphaess of Eastern pack exited her den and sniffed the air lightly. Her green eyes closing and her maw opening slightly as she took in the morning air. "It's going to be a wonderful day.." She whispered to herself as she opened her eyes slowly to find Relic looking down upon the camp, soon their gazes would meet and she would offer him a slight tilt of her head and a smile.

With a few quick leaps, Rayuska would land next to her mate and lick his muzzle lightly, "Good morning." She simply said before nosing his shoulder lightly. "Are we going to hunt today?" She whimpered before turning towards the camp and resting on her hunches quietly; There was a look of pride upon her face as she looked over the large camp and resting wolves. There was even a look of curiosity towards the awakening wolves.

The alphaess would then wait for Relic to answer before turning back towards him, her tail wagging slowly behind her. "You think you can keep up this time, old chap." She mused as she smacked her light colored tail over his own lightly; in a teasing matter. Though her green orbs would find their way back to the awakening wolves, giving them all a simple nod of recognition as she waited for Relic's reply with the smile she showed before; it was only a smile she would give him. A smile of kindness, love, and care.

Spark jumped in her pelt as a figure brushed at her side. She sighed as Pepper sat beside her, a glint of mischeif in his eyes. The she-wolf had always been jealous for her brother's power, the respect he was given from the pack. Just sitting beside him, her so small compared to his bulky, muscle-rippling frame, made her feel small. But she knew that he himself was at a loss for she was faster and more agile than he. Her smaller but slender form gave her those abilities over strength. They shared a warm glance before both turned their heads in the direction of their other brother who was carefully making his way from the mass of sleeping wolves. Dust was blind, but overall seemed to be the wisest and most precise out of the three. He dipped his head in greeting before lying down beside Spark, his dark pelt brushing against her golden.

"There is a lot of prey scrampering through the wood," Pepper commented, eyes traveling to Rayuska and Relic with jealously. There was hurt in his gaze; he had always had a liking for Rayuska, ever since they were pups. Spark nudged him gently, frowning.

"Don't think about it, Brother, it shall only bring you suffering." The she-wolf stretched in her graceful way, standing to brush around Pepper, pelts running together, as if to calm his nerves. "You'll find another." Her own set of blue eyes were flickering quickly around the camp at the other males of the population. She herself hadn't much to worry for, since she was popular among the males, though she didn't want a male who wanted her for her beauty and not her other attributes.

Dust grunted beside them, causing both their heads to turn, and then for each to sigh. Their blind brother didn't need to worry, since he was expecting for his mate to have a litter soon enough. Spark bristled slightly before pushing past both of them to stand by herself in the sunlight.

Koda sighed silently. He didnt like sitting around doing nothing. He looked back to see his two brother asleep. Not much of a surprise since the two were the laziest wolves in the pack. It kind of disappointed Koda, seeing his two brothers always sticking to each other rather than interacting more with the other pack members. His thoughts were interrupted when something pounced on him. Swift, his sister gave a playful bark wagging her tail.

"Good morning." she said before getting distracted by a bird that flew by. Koda got up and shook his fur, "Morning." he said. The younger wolf wagged her tail before sniffing around the tree. Koda nipped at her tail, getting her attention once more. "Dont wander around. I think the alpha is ready to go hunting once everyone is awake." he said. Swift nodded, but there was something about her smile that told him she probably wont listen.

This time, Koda gave a low growl as a warning, "I mean it Swift." The young wolf pulled her ears back and nodded once more. She looked at the other wolves, her smile returning to her face. Koda watched his sister before sitting down again.

Relic turned to his mate, licking her muzzle in return as that wondrous spark gleamed in his eyes from the sight of her. Yes, he had chosen the right mate, the right female to lead his pack. "Good morning my dear. Oh and yes we are, don't worry about me keeping up." he would chuckle, though at the vicious sound of the opposing Alpha's howl, he would pull his ears back sharply, stepping forward toward the edge of the rock that looked over their camp. He cleared his throat in a bark that was low enough as to not scare the prey away, yet deafening enough to silence all chatter that could have gone on throughout the pack ranks. He looked to his Beta - Oki and nodded softly once before continuing on with what he had to say.

"Swift, Koda, Spark, Rayuska and myself will be going out hunting." he announced to his packmates, turning to Oki he then added "Oki will be in charge while we are gone." his fur bristled as if to add that extra meaning to his words. He would then turn, jumping down from the large rock in one swift leap as he fell into step along the much worn path out of camp. The sun was rising quickly, and as he started out at a trot he hopped the others would follow behind just as fast, they didn't have time to waste if they expected to eat their fill.

His nose would plaster itself to the ground as soon as he was well away from camp, trying to find the familiar scent of deer as it foraged through the wilderness just as he did now. He would stop for a minute, the smell of a buck and its herd near by. He would follow this trail for some time, his tail lashing from side to side and his ears pricked forward in hopes of hearing the familiar crunch of grass as the deer contently ate their fill of the spring wonders. The Alpha would glance over his shoulder at his pack, splitting the five of them into separate groups, the two head Alphas and then the others. The deer was on the other side of the bushes. His plan : Rayuska and himself would run around to the back for the deer to run, while Swift, Koda, and Spark chased them into their waiting ambush. The plan was well thought out, and the pack used it for almost every hunt, but that didn't mean they would be as successful as they always were.

*In charge...* Although it was the Alpha's will, and there was little he could do against it, he was not very pleased with that decision. It wasn't like he would have wanted to go hunting along with the others, but he was not exactly liked by most of the pack. Oh, they respected him, but that was something else. They would do what he ordered, true, they would not do things that they would otherwise do in Relic's absence, true... but they did not like him either. He had never been sad or furious because of that, in fact he even enjoyed it a bit in some kind of way... but he was aware of that it was his own fault, and that there was little he could do against that. It maybe was good to be respected, but to be liked was better. He knew that. He also knew that he might regret his behaviour someday, but that did not matter to him. Not today, at least...
As he sat down and watched the pack from a distance, he abandoned these thoughts for the moment. There was plenty of time to think some other moment, the pack's safety was now what mattered most.

Spark looked up as Relic announced their hunting patrol. She looked back at her brothers, wishing they had been invited. They gazed back steadily, Dust nodding his head in acceptance and Pepper finally avoiding his sister's gaze to look longingly over at Rayuska. The she-wolf nudged past him so Relic wouldn't notice the glance, then joined the Alpha and his mate. She dipped her head respectfully before standing straight to look around the rest of the pack. They looked satisfied with their leader's choice in group. Though she didn't focus her attention on it she noticed Dust paddle over to his mate, Shadow, and nudge her gently with his muzzle. "Shall we begin then..?" Spark murmured to herself quietly as she trailed her nose to the ground.
--
Pepper, after accepting that he wouldn't be going, joined Oki. He sat beside the Beta though he didn't look at him. "If you would like, I could help you keep the pack in shape." Most of the pack members listened to him, and he couldn't help but feel bad that they listened to him over their Beta.
--
"How long?" Dust asked quietly, settling down against his mate's back. He gently lapped at her pelt, cleaning it thoroughly without being too rough. "I'm sure they'll be on their way soon."
Shadow gave an affectionate little laugh before nuzzling him. "Soon," she replied before closing her eyes.

Koda's looked over when he heard his name. Swift letted out a small bark, happy she was able to join the hunt. He trotted past her brother as if he wasnt even there, his tail swinging side to side with joy. Koda looked at his sister before following his pack, and sniffing the ground. He stood by his sister, who couldnt sit still. She paced back and force, walking around in circles. "Dont get distracted." he whispered over.

Swift looked at her brother, "What makes you think I'm going to get distracted?" she asked her eyes sparkling. Swift was a hyper wolf, but she was fast. Her speed helped with the hunting... most of the time.

Koda ignored his sister for now, and lowered his body to the ground. His ears twitched at every little sound he heard. He looked at the alpha and started to pad quietly to the other side. Swift, seeing her brother move followed him. She made sure she didnt do anything that would mess up the alpha's plan. Besides, she wouldnt want to be the reason why the pack couldnt get a decent meal.

As Pepper joined him and asked to help him on his duties, Oki shook his head a bit. "I wouldn't be entrusted this duty if I wasn't able to live up to the task, Pepper... don't feel offended, but your help would not be good for the future, the others would not listen to me anymore." He sighed a bit. "I appreciate your offer though, even if I can not accept it. But..." He stopped talking as he heard a noise. Quickly he closed his eyes and listened. A battle... two young wolves were having a fight, at a distance from the pack... he could smell blood. Not much, a few droplets at most, but still. Shaking his head, he said: "Stay here, Pepper. There's work for me", and ran over to the battle place. Indeed, two young wolves were having a battle there, but it seemed that they had just trained to start, and one had lost his temper and wounded the other.
His sudden arrival scared the two of them, they immediately stopped their fight and separated. Oki did not say anything, instead he looked at both of them, piercing them with his gaze. Then, with a slight movement of his head, he indicated them to return to the pack. They both knew that if they were to be caught again by him, they would be in deep trouble: Oki was not someone to forget a certain wolf, and he did not pardon twice...
Meanwhile Oki returned to Pepper, shaking his head. How much could have gone wrong if he weren't to have interferred... one of the boys had been wounded on his right foreleg, luckily it wasn't deep. Otherwise how would he have been able to follow the pack if they went somewhere else, yet alone if they were on a hunt? A broken leg was like a lost life, one would never be able to behave normal again with one. That other boy would not get away with that just like this, he had decided that from the moment he had sensed the blood on.

Rayuska kept her gaze upon her mate as she let out a chuckle-Which sounded like a series of soft barks; Not loud enough for the ones below in camp to even hear. "Do you not remember last time?" She inquired as she licked his muzzle once more before leaping down to the path; landing on her paws in a graceful and quick way. Yes, Rayuska had noticed the few stares she had received from Pepper, but it had not bothered her; She also knew Pepper had wanted her as his mate, but she had chosen Relic. She had her eye and heart on Relic ever since she had met him.

The aplhaess let out a soft growl when she heard the howl, but quickly pushed her nose towards the ground as she sniffed softly; trying to catch the sent of the passing deer early this morning. Seconds later, she would find her mate at her side, and a smile would cross her muzzle. "Good morning Swift, Koda, Spark." She said softly, not turning back to look at them, but keeping her gaze forward. Once Relic gave her a signal, she would be off; Rayuska and Relic were the fastest after all.

Pepper bowed his head, eyes upon the ground. "Yes, Oki," he replied. As the Beta paddled off to seperate the fighting the wolf sat tall, muscles rippling, and waited for their hunting patrol's return. Though he would have enjoyed hunting it was better for him to be with the camp. Most would say, after all, if anything happened to their Beta he could take over. But that was unlikely. Pepper didn't doubt the power Oki had, despite the way the rest of the pack responded to his leadership. He just needed more time and they'd listen to him the same way as they listened to Relic.

-

Though she was scenting the air for prey, focusing on the scent of something larger than a mouse, Spark caught the scent of a Western Pack wolf immediatly. She lifted her snout from the ground, flicking her golden head around to stare off through the trees. Hadn't part of their pack driven out a Western wolf only this morning? We need to thicken up on our boarder patrols, she thought as she began to stalk towards the scent.

A low growl would be heard before Taiara opened her golden eyes to find all of the wolves gone from the den. "I love how no one bothered to wake me.." She barked softly before leaning over to stretch, leaning the other way a bit to stretch more. "No, lets all leave the important warrior behind." She added with a soft and low chuckle; though it was a series of soft barks. Taiara's voice held a tone of pride, independence, and wisdom, all that she proved within her posture.

"Hey!" She snapped as she sprinted into the clearing, her pitch black fur shimmering in rays of sun as she looked to the other wolves. "Couldn't at least one of you give up just a precious minute of your time..To wake me up?" She asked, her upper lip curling so her white fangs were shown-Ever so slightly. Tay knew where she stood with the Aplha's, which was higher then every single Warrior in the pack; Rayuska was her sister after all.

The dark wolf then shook her head as she turned away from them, her golden eyes lingering on Pepper for a few seconds more before turning away quickly. Taiara had always had a thing for Pepper, but she was too much of a pup to tell him; Sure, she could kill a wolf within seconds, but not tell him of her love for him.

Oki took a quick look at the newcomer. "You're late", he said. As if Taiara didn't know already. "The others have only left a while ago, but still you have missed them."
He looked around over Taiara. Most of the pack was already awake, some were just waking up, and mostly the pups and oldest were still asleep. There sure would be work soon. Oki always parted the mornings into three phases: one, the pack wolves wake up. They still are half-asleep, don't listen to anything as they barely realize it, and slowly wake their minds. Two, they are almost completely awake. That was the best phase, since they would follow orders and do whatever is necessary without endangering anyone. And finally phase three, when they were fully awake. Then things started to go the bad way, the kids were bursting with energy, energy that they normally channeled into small quarrels and pranks played on the older wolves. That was the worst part, since there was a lot of work and little time. Hopefully Relic would come back with his hunters soon, with something to eat and distract the pack...

Pepper looked up, a grin in his eyes. "Oh, Taiara, we didn't wake you because your so cute when you sleep. Or maybe because it's funny to watch you while you roll around like a pup." He tilted his head a little, clearly joking with her, though he emphasized it anyway by standing and brushing past her, his tail lightly trailing across her muzzle before dropping. He went to stand on one of the hills, letting the warmth of the sun be soaked into his pelt.

Spark frowned. There was a wolf [Wolfardo] , just lying there. Was he dead? No, she could sense his presence, feel his heartbeat on a subconscious level. A little weary of this traveler's appearance, knowing she'd be responsible to rid of him, she began towards him, staying with the shadows to guide her.

Koda watched Spark wander away. He whined low before looking around. He didnt see the alphas giving any signals, and it looked like the hunt didnt really start just yet. He trotted after her. When she stopped, he stood a few feet away before finally walking over. Koda nudged her, not yet noticing the male wolf. "We should head back Spark. We're in a middle of a hunt." he said. His ears twitched at a sound and looked over. He lowered his head at the sight of another male wolf, pulling his ears back and letting out a low growl.

Conan and Shade finally woke up. The two brothers looked around to see Koda and Swift not here. They got up shaking their fur at the same time. The two brothers always did things together... well most of the time. They assumed the two other siblings had gone on a hunt and didnt complain. After nipping at each other playfully, Conan noticed a rabbit flash by. Shade on the other hand, too lazy to move just sat there staring at the other wolves. Conan being more of an active wolf ran after it. He was a pretty young wolf, always acting more like a pup. He didnt even notice himself getting further from his pack.

The she-wolf acknowledged Koda's appearance with a slight incline of her head. Her cool blue gaze flickered to him as he nudged her; he clearly hadn't noticed the young male lying silently in the grass nearby. Atop her head her ears pricked a little and she tilted her head. Though his growl was low, almost unnoticable, she flicked her tail across his muzzle lightly as if to silence him. "He hasn't moved. I wasn't sure what to do about him.." she murmured, tail dropping from his muzzle to lash behind her quietly.

His growling stopped as her tail touched his muzzles. Koda looked at her and sighed, "Then lets get going. He's not from our pack... he's probably from the Easter." he said eyeing the male wolf. "This cold be a trap.." he said sounding a bit worried. He nudged her once more, this time telling her to get going. There was no need for her to get hurt. Besides, if they were gone for too long, their pack wont be able to have their meal.

Conan pounced on the rabbit, wagging his tail. He held the helpless animal in his mouth letting out a small barking noise out of joy. When he looked around however, nobody was there. Not even Shade. He wasnt too far from the pack, since he can still sniff out his pack members.

"Zzz.." Wolfardo sleeps without knowing that maybe a danger around him. In his sleeps he is dreaming about something that tells him to wake up. He has been sleep for an hour and still not know anything that approach him. As his dream snapped out. His left ear flapped, his eyes were open and he awake after the long night walking and a hour sleeping.

He hadn't notice about a living thing near within his ranged radius. He decides to go back to his territory to get a full rest because he know that sleeping at where is him now may end his life. Suddenly he get s sniff of something [Spark]. He doesn't recognize the living creature that not far form him as his vision is a bit poor after a sleep, moreover at his condition that not fully recovered from last battle. "(What... What is that? A lynx? no... coyote? might not too. Probably a Wolf...)" he thinks on his head. He saw a wolf that he can't really recognize as male nor a female. He decides to flee, he knew that if he starts a battle his chance of winning is poor even on 1-on-1. He is not really like battle tough. He started his step to move and search a way to across the river to get back to the Western Territory.

Taiara lifted her head slightly when she heard Pepper speak, her tail wagging slowly behind her. She then turned to face Oki, shaking her muzzle as she spoke, "My apologies Oki." She said in a mocking matter as she bowed her head a bit and averted her gaze back to Pepper, only to find his tail gliding across her muzzle; She was so tempted to bite it, but she didn't want to hurt him.

No, Pepper was the last one she wanted to hurt; She would hurt her own sister before hurting him really. The she-wolf then jumped back a bit before padding off towards Pepper, "And where do you think your going?" She asked in a taunting tone as she trotted up beside him and rested on her haunches. "And I'm not cute." She growled as her tail swooshed back and forth across the ground; picking up a bit of dirt and leaves as she closed her golden eyes and enjoyed the warm sun; waiting for Pepper's reply also.

Rayuska slowed her pace when she smelled the wolf, "Spark, Koda." She growled as she stopped to a halt before them, "Get back." She said angrily as she snapped at Spark's tail, not touching, just warning. "What have I told you? Don't wander away from a hunt without the alpha's." She barked as she pushed her way in between them to stand were the wolf was laying, a low growl emitting from her throat as she watched him run;

She knew he was wounded, and would be easy to catch with her speed. "Relic!" She howled, hoping her mate would come to her call. If he did, she would nod towards the wolf that was fleeing the scene, "Shall I chase him?" She asked, another growl rumbling in her throat before it escaped and she let out a loud snarl; Towards Wolfrado of course.

Mina’s paws fell hard against the earth as she ran towards the Alpha, Lupin. The alphess's silky white coat was extremely clean, as she was constantly cleaning it. She hated it when her fur was dirty, and made that clear. Her wild blue eyes focused completely on Lupin, and she didn't seem to notice the small, approaching river. Mina dashed through the river, but her paw slipped on a rock, and down she went. With a yip Mina fell into the water and drenched her white coat. She coughed dramatically, and fell net to the alpha. She expected him to laugh at her, but didn't really mind. Mina opened her bright blue eyes and shook out her fur, getting anything within five feet of her wet. She fluttered her eyes at Lupin as she asked, "What’s up?” The Alphess was clearly fighting a smile.

Is anyone going to post again anytime soon?

Re: [OOC] Arcadia Wolves

Western Pack needs to post, seeing as how nearly all (or maybe all of them) of Eastern Pack has posted at least once, if not twice. I posted a few days ago with Lupin (the Alpha) summoning his pack to the Great Oak, where he made the first kill of the season.

What are you referring to? x3 All the characters that apply can make an appearance in the roleplay.
