Introduction
The secret? Magic.
In the year 215 AD Arthur used Excalibur to become king, it was a magical object and with it he knew that his rule would last a long time, unless of course someone with magic more powerful than his own rose up. To prevent this from ever happening Arthur employed a powerful warlock named Merlin to cast a spell that would take the magic from the land. Of course, this magic could not just be destroyed. So Merlin sealed it into six precious stones, sealed it with his life, each stone holding a different element of magic. He warned that if ever the stones fell into the wrong hands they could be used to do the worst things, they would last forever, so forever they must be protected.
Arthur Anumi entrusted each stone to one of his most trusted knights, he kept the Stone of Light Magic.
To Sir Ignis he gave that of Heat and fire.
To Sir Glacies he entrusted that of Cold and Ice.
To Sir Levitas he gave that of Lightning.
To Sir Ventus he entrusted that of Air and wind.
And to Sir Obscurum he entrusted that of Dark Magic.
These stones gave the power that they held to those who wore them, each of the knights had the stone in a necklace that was around their neck on a chain that can not be broken and can not be taken off once the true knight (Most of the time this is the first born child of the previous Knight, when the necklace loosens from his/her neck it is time to pass it on) has placed it over their head.
How was Arthur to know that the powers can manipulate a Knight who is not strong enough to bear them? How could he know that Obscurum would turn against them?
It was a dark night when Obscurum rose to his full power, each knight fought bravely but in the end it was a face off between Arthur and Obscurum. They fought and the roof caved in, Arthur’s trusted Knights found him amongst the rubble, dead, the stone of light still around his neck. Obscurum was never found. Since then nobody has stepped forward to take on the stone of light and the remaining four families, Ignis, Glacies, Levitas and Ventus have passed their secret to the next heir as all have protected Light, it is kept with the Ignis Dynasty.
And now it is modern day England, in a town a few miles outside of London where the wealthy rule. Four rich families reside, they are the descendents of the Knights of the Round. In the last year the first born of each family has emerged as a Knight. But one Knight is missing, the most important, the descendent of King Arthur has been missing since 290 AD when Obscurum killed him and escaped, leaving the stone of Light Magic behind.
Now there are four seventeen to twenty-one year olds who are the current protectors of the stones, they are in college/working as well as being trained by the last protector (Mum or dad) and hanging out with each other. They are pretty much the most popular kids in town, and why not? They are good looking, charismatic and wealthy. However Robert Ignis, father of the current protector of heat and fire and an ex-knight, has recently remarried, he can not say why but he fell immediately in love with Rosa Meadows.
Rosa already has a daughter, who is drawn to the stone of light that is being protected in the Ignis basement. This happens as Obscurum minions begin to appear again, they are foul demonic creatures whose will is to destroy all knight dynasties, will the other Knights be able to train Rosa’s daughter before Obscurum rises again? And resist the temptation to go to his side, due to the influence of their own stones? As well as accept this stranger? And deal with their personal lives?

Robert suddenly came out of his house, his arms spread wide in welcome he enclosed Rosa in a tight, loving, embrace and ignored Juliette. When he pulled back he put an arm around Rosa and guided her inside, leaving Juliette, and the driver they had hired, to open the side of the van and pull out the boxes. Juliette looked to the driver and he shrugged, having obviously noticed the way Robert had ignored her. Juliette lifted one of her lighter boxes of clothes, she wrapped her arms around it, offering a weak smile to the grey haired driver as he picked up a heavy box of her books. Even he was dressed smartly, and when she noticed this she averted her gaze and moved towards the house where the door had been left open, at least Robert had remembered to do that. Juliette moved into the entrance hall, her mouth falling open a little, in front of her was a wide staircase that led up to a balcony that stretched across the back of the room, a door either end of it. The back wall was made of glass that showed the gardens that stretched beyond. Either side of her were large arches, one seemed to lead to an entertaining area where the other was to a dining room. She guessed that a kitchen led off of that. She wondered if they had a cook. Robert and Rosa were standing off to the side, and Juliette caught them looking at her, Rosa smiling at her surprise, Robert looked stern.
At the top of the stairs stood a man with raven hair, highlighted with grey in places, he was dressed in fine suit trousers and a white shirt. The sleeves were rolled up in a way that made him look scruffy, he smiled at Juliette and she could not help but return such a smile, he was the first man to make her feel welcome but she was afraid that this was because it was his job to do so.
“Ah Henry.” Robert said, “Would you take Miss Meadows to her room? Then find Georgia to help with the boxes in the van?”
Henry nodded his head to Robert as he reached the bottom of the stairs and Juliette could not quite believe that they had a house servant, a sort of butler she supposed. In fact it seemed that they had two, Juliette was not sure that she liked the idea, how could she get used to someone else cleaning up after her when at home she had done most of the cleaning? "Miss Meadows, this way." Henry turned and lead Juliette up the stairs and along a hall then up another set of stairs. "All of the bedrooms are along here, go up the stairs at the end of this hall to your room, the loft was specially converted for you." Seriously? Juliette forced the urge to allow her mouth to fall open again, she heard Henry leave but didn't turn to watch him go instead she began to walk slowly towards the narrow spiral staircase at the end of the hall.
OOC Notes
Tearing his eyes away from the new arrivals, he looked back to the book he had been concentrating on. Once again, he'd been reading up on his family's history. He felt that if he knew about the previous Knights, he'd be able to understand how to deal with some situations that may face his generation. He saw the names of the other Knights, almost imagining the people in the tales of the past to be the Knights he knew now. Strange, how he could see the others in his mind rather than imagining his own characters.
“Regan!”
He was soon pulled out of his book by the calls of his younger brother, Lucas. Regan's mossy green eyes moved towards the doorway, finding the smaller boy standing in the window. Lucas always reminded him of what he remembered of his mother, those grey eyes and wavy blonde hair – unlike his own dark eyes and straight mess of blonde. He was much like his father, which was probably why he was chosen to become the next Knight.
“Juliette and Rosa are here, Regan...” Lucas said, a small smile on the younger boy's face as he seemed to be pleased by their arrival. Regan doubted that Lucas would be so happy if he was the one who had to protect the Light Stone.
“I saw...” Regan replied, his tone rather bored. He wondered what his brother expected from him. If it was a friendly hello and offer of help to bring their stuff in, Lucas had another thing coming. He wasn't too happy with these strangers moving in so quickly, their father knew that and yet let them come into their home before he knew if they could be trusted properly. They could consider his lack of effort with these new people as a kind of protest to their being here.
Lucas could see how much Regan was not bothered by this, making a frown settle on the boy's face.
“At least say hello to them...” Lucas sighed as he approached his brother, reaching to take the book from Regan's hands. “You're stressing out too much about this.”
“Wouldn't you?” Regan replied, “We barely know these people, yet Dad's gone and married the woman and let her move in, in the shortest space known to man. What if they find the Light Stone?”
“They won't. You're guarding it well enough...” Lucas pointed out, prying the book from his brother's hand and putting it on the nearest table. “And if anyone attacks this place to get to it, I'll make sure they don't see any of it – unless it comes to a time where Dad thinks they can be trusted with the secret.”
Lucas watched the frown settle on Regan's face. He still didn't approve, obviously. Sighing again, Lucas pulled tugged at his brother's arm, unable to lift him from where he was sitting as he had no real strength in is muscles.
“Just say hi...” Lucas whined, “You never know, you might even like them.”
Regan sighed,
“Fine...” If he didn't give in, Lucas would only continue to annoy him. They were both stubborn like that. He pushed Lucas away from him, laughing a little as he stumbled, pulling himself up from the bay window seat. He gently tugged at the bottom of his tight fitting blue shirt, covering the belt around his waist and revealing the red stone hanging on the chain around his neck.
“I'll say hi, don't expect much else...” Regan said, before letting Lucas lead the way out of the library to where ever these people were supposed to be.

"I'm leaving now. I won't be back until next Sunday", Alice's father, Anthony said while gathering his suitcases to the car. The butler tried to help him but Anthony refused not wanting to feel crippled by his butler Jefferey. Mrs. Marie Levitas came waltzing down the steps to give her last farewells to him, "You have a safe trip and I love you very much", she said giving him a big hug.
"Where is Alice ? I want to hug her too", Anthony replied looking for signs of his daughter, "Oh, she is in the west wing library taking a nap", Marie answered him, "Don't bother her now. I'll tell her later. Now you must be off", she finished off pushing him out the door. His career as the CEO of a major banking incorporation was important to her as well, seeings it kept them of their high status as one of the most respected people in the whole area. Anthony nodded and headed out to his Rolls Royce silver sports car. He waved to Marie once more while getting in.
The car then drove out of sight becoming a speck in her eye. Alice immediately woke up to the sound of a car revenging up out of the driveway, "It must be dad leaving to get to the airport on time", she thought as she lazily rubbed her eyeballs. She then got up and stretched her arms above her head. She thought about visiting her friend Regan and his little brother Lucas. She smiled knowing she couldn't wait to see Lucas as he was always the happy energetic child who rarely felt down. After putting the various books, that were scattered about, neatly on the shelves, Alice headed downstairs to see her mother shutting the front door, "Your dad left already", she told her as she walked into the parlor room.
Alice walked in behind her, "I know. I woke up suddenly to the sound of his car drive away", she replied getting her touch screen phone from off of the white piano that was in the far right corner of the spacious living room. "You shouldn't leave your belongings out like that, young lady", Marie scolded her as she sat down on the couch that was made of Italian-ported white leather. Alice rolled her eyes as she walked back to entrance of the parlor, "I know. Hey, mom. I'm going to be over my friend Regan's house. I'll be back later on", she explained to her mother who didn't have a chance to comment on what she had her view about Alice's whereabouts.
Alice knew that her mother would start up another conversation about Mr. Ignis and his new wife and step-daughter. She had enough of it and was throughly bored by it as she started her brisk walk down the street. She wondered if she should call Regan before she intrude on his family affairs, "I hope he wouldn't mind", she thought as she speed-dialed his number on her phone. She slowly put it up to her ear and waited for it to ring.

Juliette rolled up the sleeves of her jumper then stood with her hands on her hips, surveying the boxes, she hadn't brought much other than clothes, books, cds and a couple of dvds. Robert had brought her a laptop and television. If felt strange, being in this place where she seemed to own nothing and knew no one. She knew that Robert had kids but she'd never met them although she had met Robert a few times and he'd always been a little cold towards her. This house seemed to hold his coldness. She really didn't want to unpack, unpacking would be like saying she was staying. She tied back her dark hair, surveying the boxes again, this place was rather quiet. Maybe she was in the loft so that she was out of the way.

Tyrion had left his home some 30 minutes ago. What was normally a 5 minute walk turned out to be much longer, but a busy road hindered his crossing for a good while. His destination, the Ignis Knight household, was within sight. "At last!" he said aloud as the familiar household came into view. Only seconds after his exclamation his eyes dart over the tell tale signs of a moving family; this puzzled Tyrion. Fingers, that were his own, scratched at his blond head; specks of dander flaking off as he did so. The Ignis' are definitely not moving out. So what in the world is a moving van doing here? Realization burst forward in a thought. Elder Ignis' new wife. He felt so ignorant he wanted to face palm that he had forgotten something so important.
I helped little that his father, Rowain, and the elder Ignis, Robert, did not get along very well, but Tyrion did enjoy the company of the Ignis sons. He knew as well as any of the Knights that the security of the Knights is at high risk with the newly acquired Ignis' or Ingis since the daughter did not change her name. A sense of duty swelled at the thought, We will have to keep a very close eye on the goings on of those women. What perplexed him the most is that the elder Ignis was so rash in the decision to marry, almost as if he gave no thought to the Knights. Robert had always been rash, but he always had an immense sense of duty. Maybe this is the very reason Father dislikes him so. Little thought all action. He gave a curt shrug as feet continued on.
Nearing the household Tyrion noted the comings of another Knight, the Knight Levitas. His hand lazily rose into the air and gave Alice a wave. "Hello there. Fancy meeting you here." A faint smile slowly rose on his face. He always enjoyed the company of the other Knights. The secret life they all live gave little opportunity to really be oneself, in l aspects. The honorable burden they all wore was easier if the load could be shared. "Heading to the Ignis place too?"

“Ok, we are ready, how do we look?” Tamsyn asked, watching how her twin’s face changed to a smile as soon as she entered the room. On her hip Twyla clung tight to her slate blue silk dungarees, unwilling to touch her moss green cotton shirt, matching her light daps that complimented her feeling. She smiled down at her daughter, warmth suffusing her face as she span around, causing peals of laughter to part both their lips. Her hair swung out in an twist of bright red about them, almost the exact shade of her daughters dress. The bright blue eyes stared up her with such joy, hardly any weight after her years of training. She picked up her bag with poise and grace, wondering if any of the younger Knights would be there today, otherwise she would be terribly board. Tugging her brother out, she turned with elegance from her training to lock the door behind them.
“Come here little one.” His deep voice took a soft note as he swept his niece from his sister. “We need to swing by mum’s and pick up the gift from her. Then we can head down if you like. Will you do your best to be sociable?” He spoke to her as they began the quick walk to the main house, footsteps even in pace, never having to guess the pace so constant together. His hair was gripped in little hands, Twyla running her fingers through his strait shock of rust red hair. He nuzzled her head; affection for the small child painted across his face clearer than any artist could paint. She smelt of lavender, just like his sister had for so many years, he had never understood her obsession with lavender; though she kept telling him that it was an antiseptic. Her tinny little legs swung as they walked, her eyes dancing about, curious about the world.
“I’ll go get whatever mum wants.” She said, taking swift steps down the path towards the house, she waved behind her to them both as she went. She pressed the bell, hearing it resound through the large marble reception room and down into the mostly empty house. She hummed to herself quietly, rocking back on her heels; not relishing seeing her stepmother. Her hair shaded her tanned arms from the late summer sun, taking up it’s life giving heat and stopping her from burning. Her mother did not really like her, they had been born to close to the now late elder brother and she had never really liked them for it. It had only become worse when she became pregnant, the woman truly thought her stupid trash. Yet here she was standing on the doorstep, about to run her errands, wearing clothes that had been bought by the family’s money, it served her right.
“There you go Tam, be sure to be polite to the new girl, you know how important the family is to all of us. I don’t need to remind you.” The older woman came through the door, handing her a wicker basket with just over £300 worth of cosmetics for them from there company. She bit her lip to stop the rude words that pushed at her throat, merely nodding in a polite small bow. She turned on heal moving back down the long paved path, so immaculate that it held no warmth or love that some of the less elaborate houses on there road (three streets down) had. Her slender frame all but dancing away from the house, she pulled a face at the two waiting for her; her two beloveds. As she walked her feet tapped along the stone path, marking her passage for a few moments, the only solace it would get today.
They moved off down the street heading for the biggest house, all the while they spoke playfully, asking Twyla on what she wanted to do once they were home again and what they should have for dinner. Kato noted that quite a few of their fellow knights children were about and he wondered if would see his brother at some point. He raised his spare hand to wave at both Tyrion and Alice, glad to see them both as it had been awhile. Gently he poked his sister nodding to them, pulling her from her far away look. He smiled shaking his head, surely the idea of child’s games and food were not so interesting as to take her away from the real world, but in truth he knew that was what she lived for. Together the three of them paused at the bottom of the path, waiting for the others to join them.

She then saw three people with one waving their hand at her and Tyrion, "Oh look. It's Kato, Tamsyn, and Twyla", she said smiling at them as they walked their way up to them. She always loved the twin red heads and Tamsyn's little girl. They always had a smile on their face and were very kind people that you would love to get to know. She loved how they were very loyal and would always stick up for the people they cherished most, "Its good to see you three", she said loud enough for them to hear.

“I take it that you’v come to say hi to the knew pair?” He raised an eyebrow before backpedaling to keep pace with them, as he trundled backwards towards the house and his sister. These were the people that he felt comfortable with and he easily slipped around to walk beside them on Alice’s side. He smiled warmly at her, eyes sparkling with unsaid questions. He wanted to know what had been going on to lead to the new development happening in the Ignis house, as well as what had been going on in their lives since his last visit in Easter. Still he kept his mouth shut, not wanting to blurt out to many things. His fingers fluttered over the things in his pockets as he thought this quickly. He pulled a face at the little curious look his niece his sister was giving the other two.
“Hey there… Say hi Twyla.” She looked down at the red head clinging to her, only for a moment before she lowered her to the ground, pushing her forwards. She smiled as her adorable daughter did just as she asked, a small smile of satisfaction lighting her face. She pulled her daughter against her leg with a playful hand, rubbing her forever-messy hair into further disarray. They both looked in good health to her and she grinned mischievously to see her brother on Alice’s side, he had always gotten along better with women. To her eyes they both seemed to become more and more like family every time they met, which she guessed in a way they were.
“So have either of you heard anything about the knew ladies of the house? Mum dumped us with some stuff to welcome them, I hope they like this kind of thing.” She wrinkled her nose in disgust, finding the products the company made to over done for her taste. She pulled her brother to her once he was close enough, bumping her forehead to his shoulder. She took notice of how his stance had changed, his eyes resting on the main house, was he worried that something would go wrong? She shook her head, placing her wide welcoming look back on it, eyes alight with joy. Twyla pushed between her and her brother, taking her hand. She smiled moving a step away from the others toward the house. “Shall we?”

Alice waved her hand to Twyla as Tamysn told her to say hi to them, "Don't be shy. I'm a fun person to be around with once you get to know me", she said as she looked to the corner of her to see Kato shaking slightly with his sparkling eyes aglow on her. She was always suspicious of him as he kind of showed that he wanted to say something to her but was to nervous to do so. She kept her mouth shut not wanting to make him feel even more awkward. He then shifted to Tamsyn's side as she accidentally bumped her head into his shoulder. She sighed with relieve as Kato put his attention back to the house, "Why does he always act nervous around me", she thought while bitting her lower lip confused and slightly nervous herself.
They all started to head for the house, "I hope we're not intruding", Alice said worried as she followed the others in behind. She was very polite to the extent that if coming to someone's house without giving them a call was highly rude. Poor Alice was brought up like that to have a mind of, should we say, "fear" to ask for permission unless it was granted to you. Her parent's were very strict with their morals and would enforce them on Alice daily since she was an infant.

The driver jumped out the other side and opened the back doors so he could get her stuff out. Mai, who wasn't planning on helping, walked towards the front door. Her movements were surprisingly graceful, as if she had been born wearing high heels. She pulled the key for the front door out of her purse and moved into the entrance hall. She had brought the place fully furnished so all that was needed were essential things, like her clothes and cooking equipment and televisions and her laptop etc. She'd let the moving guys bring all that in for her. Mai went up to the top floor of her three storey house and went to the main front room of it. She looked out of the window where she could see across North Star, her house being on a hill, so this was it, the tiny town where four rich families live and haven't moved for the last couple of centuries. She did not know if they were the ones she was looking for but they could be, it was highly coincidental if it turned out that the families were strangers to each other and had just decided to stick around for that long.

"Masters Ignis," The call of their house keeper, Henry, caught the boys' attention. "You have friends approaching the door," Henry told them, pointing to the window to let the boys look for themselves.
Regan was first to approach the window, the harshness from his features disappearing as he saw the gathering of some from the other Knight families. Finally, some normality.
"Don't worry about getting the door, Henry," Regan told the man, flashing him a genuine smile as he moved towards the front door himself, Lucas following along behind him. Sometimes, it did feel good to open a door by his own hand. Before the group had even reached the front door, Regan pulled it open, standing in the doorway, scanning over who was here.
Alice, Tyrion, Kato, Tamsyn and even Twyla. Everyone was accounted for, which helped keep the smile on his face. It was a relief to know that he had their full support in this, seeing as he didn't seem to get the same from his father these days. Regan edged out the way as Lucas squeezed through to see everyone as well. Lucas was always getting involved in the Knight stuff, might as well have been one of them with the amount he knew. Regan still refused to teach him how to fight though - telling his brother that it wasn't necessary for him to learn while he was a knight.
"I take it that's not for me..." Regan said, pointing to the wicker basket one of the twins were carrying, with a slight pout on his face. He knew full well they weren't for him, but he thought it might lighten the mood for himself a little.
"I guess this means we've all come to say hi to our new family..." Lucas said, looking from the group infront of the door, to Regan - who's smile had dropped from his face at the mention of greeting the new comers again.
"Let's get this done with quickly then," Regan sighed, pushing Lucas out of the way, laughing again, and then moving aside so that the group could come inside.

“So how have you been since last Easter? You’ve finished college now haven’t you?” He spoke with the easy rise an fall in pitch, keeping conversation light. He knew he should have called her over the term to wish her luck with exams, but being so busy with his own study (as usual) he had forgotten. He touched her arm lightly with the tips of his long fingers, a smile bright on his lips as he moved them off behind his sister’s easy elegant steps. Alice had always been a pleasure talk to and one of the few to knock him on his ass in his younger years, he always looked forward to having a chance to spar. As they walked he looked up at the house, it was beautiful, as were all of the main family houses; large encompassing a good part of the street, giving of an air of grandeur. He was glad to no longer feel the stress of living in the Ventus household, giving more room to the current heir to the stone for training. Though they were never unwelcome in the house, he did not feel it to be his home any more.
“Uni is going well, I got a first for my foundation… Fingers crossed I’l do as well for myself next year, though I can’t decide if I should take a gap year rather than continue first and further my study before I do so.” He linked his arm with her dainty yet deceptive arm, smiling all the while as they came to the door. He watched her face, wondering if he would manage to persuade her to sit for him before the holidays were over as he dearly wanted to paint each of the knights. Her skin felt cool against his arm, always running a little hotter than most, he valued that she didn’t mind such minor things. The first time he saw each of them he was always a little nervous, wondering if they ever resented him and his sister for living such free lives. It had been a disappointment not to be chosen as the next heir, but in reality it made his life easier and he could relax far more. His silk cotton blended shirt felt soft against his skin where it pressed against her, making him wonder how she had gotten on with everything since they had last met.
“Oh, hullo.” Tamsyn blanched as the door opened before she got the chance to knock on it, eyes going wide for a second. Soon her smile returned as she felt her little girl hit the back of her knees, as ever she was keen to meet Lucas and Regan, always having the best stories for her if they had time to spare. She smiled nodded that it was indeed a gift for the new part of the family, her eyes watching as yet more people joined them. A red blush colored her cheeks, embarrassed by her shock at the door opening before she rap against it for entrance. With one hand she nimbly picked up her shining daughter, moving past the brothers and into the house. It was just as lavish as she remembered, shacking her head, they would not like that she looked quite so scruffy and wild in there perfect house. With an act of utter balance she removed her daughters daps, juggling her and the basket as she did so. Rules varied from house to house with shoes, but she believed that since would expect them to take it off at her door, so she would at theirs. Her own came off with far more ease, leaving her small pale feet bare as she pushed them to the side, unsure of what else she might do.
“Hi Lucas, Regan, I hope our presence is not unwelcome. We were forced at gun point to come and welcome the new neighbors.” He chuckled lightly, seeing the elder brothers distaste for going to meet the new family. Over the phone the stepmother had warned him that some friction was lightly from the stone barer and he supposed he could not blame him. Behind the two brothers he could see Twyla standing, greedy eyes looking up admiringly at the new play mates. His arm slide from Alice’s, moving through the door and copying his sister’s shoelessness and swooped up his niece, turning to smile back at the others, as the touch of his sister’s hand fell upon his back. Her smile at him was wicked and knowing, looking over his shoulders to the others. He moved back on the balls of his feet, giving room to the others as they all entered the house.

"It will be my sophomore year this fall with my birthday coming around that time as well", she finished explaining as she couldn't keep from blushing slightly. Why was she doing such a thing ? That never had happen to her when she approached a guy. Maybe it was the way he presented himself with his kind and caring attitude or the way he was very interested in getting to know her more since he didn't have time the last time. She was slightly sad seeing he promised to call her sometime but never didn't, making her feel like she had been stood up. Her whole demeanor changed from welcoming him to being upset with him.
She tried her best with being polite but was to annoyed to do so, "That's nice that your exceeding quite well in your academic studies", she replied feeling his arm began to slip away from hers. She sighed with relieve not knowing how to respond to her new found "situation" with Kato. She walked inside and awkwardly went on Tyrion's side letting Kato converse with the others and picking up his niece, "So what's their names again ? Your father's new wife and step-daughter", she asked Lucas knowing he was always abreast with new news about the mansion. Since she didn't want to fell left out, she asked Lucas about his view of the new residential comers. This time she would have to think of a way to avoid Kato with all her might without looking too petty, she thought in her mind lightly while folding her arms in a thinking manner.

“Silly, you seem to have offended her.” She smirked at her brother, light teasing touching her soft voice. “Twyla I’m going to ask Henry where the new member is, will you stay with uncle? Maybe you can go talk to Lucas or Regan?” She crouched down, touching her little girl’s nose, brushing the tips of her slender fingers over her little freckles. When she got a big smile, leant forwards, placing a kiss her baby’s brow. She moved off to where Henry stood, watching politely. When she had been younger they had always come to the house, given to the care of Henry when their parents had important things to talk about. She spoke to him quietly, asking if he could direct her to wherever the young woman was. She nodded at his polite clipped words, moving up the stairs with quick strides, red hair enveloping her slender frame. She didn’t often go up to this part of the house, looking around with her pale blue eyes, she liked it; even if it breathed money a little too much. Scrunching the carpet under her toes, she stood at the top of the spiral staircase, wondering if the new girl would take badly to a stranger coming up without an introduction. She swayed there silently for a moment, enjoying the stretch of her muscles, weight swaying on the left where she held the basket. She reached the door, giving it a light tap before standing to wait.
“Lucas, Lucas, will you play a game of hide and seek with me?” Twyla asked, popping up behind his legs. She looked up at what she thought of as one of her many uncles; bright blue eyes sparkling like crystal. “Regan will you play?” She asked, little skipping steps carrying her away from the other boy. Her knee length dress swayed about her, making her seem even smaller. She reached up, tugging at Regan’s hand, a look of mild expectation on her face. She squealed happily when she felt Kato’s hands swoop her up into the air. For a moment she hung suspended in the air, a look of utter joy upon her face as laughter spilled from her lips. Her red hair spiraled up around her and she wondered for a brief moment if this time she would drop. She felt big warm arms surround her waist, guiding her in to thump against his chest. She could hear soft resonations of his laughter, ear pressed tightly against his chest as she clung to him.
“Twyla, you know we came here to welcome the new members of the family, you promised not to run off.” He chided her gently, actually having no problem with it. “Why don’t you ask Alice if she will carry you for a bit? Then maybe I can talk with her?” He glanced at Alice as he said this, quirking an eyebrow incase the attention was unwanted. He pulled the small child up into his arm, cradling her in one arm like she weighed nothing. He moved slowly across the short distance, wary that she might just tell him to go away after her earlier coldness. His skin prickled unpleasantly at the idea that she would so easily brush him aside, without any explanation. His spare hand reached out to brush the cascade of hair off Twyla’s face, gentle fingers removing even strays that stuck. Soothing vibes emanated from his body, both for himself and the little excited girl in his arms, eyes clouded with worry as to what he had done. His muscles tensed at the agitation in his mind, readying him for combat, despite the fact it would not be coming. Finally, he looked up at Alice, a small quiet smile on his lips and searching in his eyes.

Alice then felt a present in the empty living room. She turned around slightly so she was face to the company she now had. Alice's face turned bright red as she saw Kato standing behind her with sweet little Twyla in his arms, "Oh! you two scared me for a minute there", she said surprised but somewhat nervous. She smiled when Twyla motioned to be in her arms, "You wouldn't mind if I hold her, would you ?", she asked Kato while stretching her arms out for her.

"You're always welcome here," Regan told them, able to hold the warm smile on his face as he looked around the group, "I'm glad you all came, it makes things feel a little more... normal." Normal meaning hanging around with a group of knights with powers, protecting Light from Dark. Yeah, that was Regan's type of normal, not expanding family.
"Her name's Rosa," Lucas explained to Alise, "and her daughter's name is Juilette. We haven't met Juliette yet though, she's completely new to all of us..." He said, suddenly distracted by the call of his name, looking down to find Twyla peering up at him, asking about a game of hide and seek. However much he liked hanging around with the Knights, he did enjoy spending time with Tamsyn's daughter. It reminded him of the easy life of a child that he was sure every grown up wished they could return to. For the small time that he did play with her, he felt like a child himself again.
She went on to ask Regan to play too, watching with amusement as he looked down at the girl with his dark eyes. Regan wasn't exactly the biggest fan of children, though he had a high tolerance for Twyla because she was Kato's neice.
He was going to lift her up by the arms that tugged him, perhaps even agree to play with her, but Kato had already swept her away. He glanced at Lucas with a slight frown,
"I was actually going to say yes this time, too." He told his brother, who laughed in response.

"Please Henry, I'd feel more comfortable with Juliette."
Henry looked uncertain for a moment, then bowed his head slightly "Certainly, well, Juliette, your step brothers and their friends want to meet you. You have been quite the topic of gossip recently."
Suddenly Juliette went from lonely to quite terrified, she didn't like meeting new people and meeting them in bulk sounded worse. She pulled her hair band out of her hair and fluffed it a little then pulled at the bottom of her jumper, in a long jumper and fluffy socks she really didn't look all that presentable. "Now?" she asked, sounding uncertain.
"Now." Henry smiled gently, "You look fine Juliette, they won't mind."
She shoved at the sleeves of her jumper to make sure they were to her elbows, cute was probably how she could be described and she wasn't sure she liked that. She'd prefer smart. These people were certain to be smart. Why would there be friends? Why would their friends care? She puffed out her cheeks before letting out a long breath. "Henry, would you take me to them?"
"Of course, this way then."
Juliette followed Henry, she looked overly casual but they were her comfort clothes so why bother caring? Henry stopped after a few minutes and gestured to a doorway, Juliette could hear a light babble of conversation coming from beyond it. Juliette just nodded to Henry, unable to really speak, she had to meet these people after all. There was a possibility that she'd have to spend the rest of her life with them. She took a deep breath before peering around the doorway, dark blue eyes skimming the scene before her, they looked like a family. She chewed her lower lip a little then squared her shoulders and slipped into the room, she could do this, of course she could do this. Juliette cleared her throat.

As soon as he saw the Ignis brother he knew they disliked the situation they were in. I don’t know if I could blame them. I hate this situation as well. He was curious to know if having a stepmother was better than having your mother shipped off with your sister at a young age. Another mental shrug. Tyrion gave a warm hearted smile as he has his two friends, Regan and Lucas. If he could help remedy the situation, then he could at least be the pleasant friend he has always been.
Before walking inside with everyone else Tyrion noticed another moving van pull into a house just down the street. I’ll have to meet the other new neighbors on my way back home. So many people coming in and out of this once esteem neighborhood. Only 10 years ago you would have seen most of the families that had lived in these houses for generations. The sign of progress, I guess. He thought sarcastically. Is it killing our heritage? This time he gave out a physical shrug, as was his habit to do whenever deep In thought, it always helped him to zone back in on the situation at hand.
Following the rest of the Knights, or Knight Acquaintances, Tyrion moved through the massive doors that were the Ignis’. Even with new people the house still looks and feels the same. Tyrion always felt cold at the Ignis house. Strange that such a feeling would come over him at the Knight of Fire residence. As soon as the chatter sort of died down Tyrion moved over to the two Ignis brothers and clapped Regan on the shoulder. “Hey, my friends.” Tyrion stated the smile he gave still wore on his face, unwavering. “To answer your question I had actually forgot that today was the move in day. I had just come down to see you guys. It’s good to see all of you.” He gave a slight turn giving a curt nod to everyone present.
He lowered his voice to a point were a needle drop would drown him out.. “Do you think we have to meet about this new situation? “Maybe come up with some plan of action for certain contingencies.” He trusted everyone there; Tyrion felt he needed to say what was on everyone’s mind. This was their solemn duty after all. “just nod if you think so.”

“Hi there.” She spoke softly as to not startle her, she could see just how tense the girl was and understandably so with so many people before her. “I just came to look for you, I must have gotten the wrong room. My name’s Tamysn of the Ventus house hold, we are old family friends. I have these from my mother; they are a gift from my family to welcome you to your new home. I hope we become good friends.” She touched the other girl’s shoulder, moving to stand beside her and look at the boys in the hall. She smiled to herself; they looked so easy around each other. She looked at the other girl with calculating eyes, she seemed to be nice, very pretty, no wonder the elder Ignis had decided to make her mother his wife, if she was half as pretty most men would envy him. She chuckled to herself, turning once more to move through the doorway, ease obvious through the slopes of her shoulders. As she got closer to Regan, Lucas and Tyrion she heard their hushed talk and she nodded to signal that she thought they did need to talk about the situation. She knew she could talk for her brother, the current heir to the stone, who had gone with both her daughter and Alice. She smiled that he was with her, though he found it easier to talk to women, it was rare for him to give up a chance to see all of the family’s.
Kato was glad of everyone’s tolerance of his niece today, despite the current agitation in the household. Regan in particular had surprised him and he smiled handing the little bundle of energy over to Alice. He rubbed the back of his head where it connected to his neck, embarrassment obvious from his awkward stance. Once she had settled he reached down pulling out a pink hair band from his wrist; hidden by his long-sleeved shirt and began pulling her hair back from her face. His motions were smooth and he was careful to never tug on her scalp or tug on one of the knots to hard, eyes focused as he put her hair up behind her head. As he did so his hand brushed against Alice’s collarbone accidentally and he moved away quickly to not seem like he was trying anything on. He looked at them both, a wide smile spreading across his face as he did so, swallowing any look of unease from his strong features. He hoped that Alice would not stay cold towards him for to much longer, not wanting the awkwardness between them.
“So, I was wondering if you would sit for me for a couple of days before the summer holiday ends?” He blurted out, a red blush rising to his cheeks again, unable to stay in silence any longer. “You have such beautiful features, I would love to try… You don’t have to talk to me if you don’t like.” He flashed her a cheeky smile, eyes twinkling with unsaid questions as to what was going on. He moved with masculine grace across the room, standing before the oldest portrait of the Ignis family. His eyes traced the brush marks, so delicately depicting one of the past knights, looking for characteristic of his friends the brothers. He was fascinated to have such a log of predecessors, watching how some features stayed and others dropped out over a few generations. His busy fingers brushed across the mantelpiece, moving with the light sculptural work. Behind him he could hear Twyla, bringing him back to the room with a rush of emotion, worry that Alice would stay unhappy with him. He glanced behind him, watching the two with an cautious look. His eyes caught with hers for a brief second and he glanced down quickly, seemingly shy.
“Kato, Kato, come play with me and aunty Alice.” She moved higher in Alice’s grip, wrapping her small arms around her shoulders in a joyful hug. She giggled slightly at his playful look of annoyance, squealing with joy when he rushed to her side. She loved her Uncle more than anything else, and she looked up her Alice, face suffused with joy!

"Let's sit down Twyla", she told her as she sat down on the couch with Twyla still in her arms playfully. Alice then was startled to hear little Twyla calling her "auntie". She became so red that it wasn't too hard to notice," What....would....you like....to play ?", she asked nervously while patting the young girl's soft fiery red head. She looked up and saw Kato walk over to them awkwardly. His whole body felt uneasy and he looked as if he wanted to leave really quick.
Alice almost got up to walk out in fear she might lose her nerve but sat instead seeing Kato wanted to ask her some questions, "I don't know.....", she answered him about sitting for him on the holidays. She was then stunned to hear Kato woo her with sweet talk that she finally lost her nerves, "Kato, please don't pressure me like this", she said putting Twyla on the couch next to her gently. Alice got up and faced him, even though she was way shorter then him, "Your always acting like your better then someone else, being all high and mighty. Well your not fooling me!", she said lowly at him with a hiss, "You didn't even have the nerve to call me once", she continued putting her finger in his jewel like face. Her whole face turned bright red and her other hand clenched in a fist, "I tried to hold it in as long as I can.....but I can't anymore because I would look like a jackass", she said stuttering while walking over to the large bay-window slowly.
She began to look out to it, "Kato.....why are you so prefect ?", she asked him in a whisper not caring if he heard her at all, "Ever since I met you. Everyone seemed to draw to you like a magnet. I could never match to you...", she whispered finally calming down.

His gaze wandered from the group of friends to the doorway as he heard a quiet clearing of the throat from someone else. A rather cosy looking girl stood in the doorway, looking at them with a rather nervous look in her eyes. She looked like she was settling in well then, long black jumper and fuzzy socks. Definite comfort clothes. Lovely, she was getting comfortable here then.
He made a small nod, his response to Tyrion. They definitely needed a meeting about this. He needed to figure out what he could do to handle this situation.
He watched as Tamsyn made the first greeting, passing on her present. Before anyone else had the chance to greet her, he watched Lucas slowly approac the girl - the blonde boy looking rather nervous himself. Everyone knew that Lucas was rather shakey around girls, sometimes even Tamsyn and Alice made him feel awkward. And so Regan was rather surprised by his brother's bravery, having half expected them to be the last to be introduced, seeing as Regan didn't exactly feel like introducing himself.
"Hi, Juliette..." Lucas said, a slight shake in his voice as he approached her, noticing how they were actually around the same height. The Ignis brothers were one of the shorter ones in the group, this generation having been smaller than expected. "I'm Lucas, and that's Regan," He said, looking over his shoulder to point at the slightly taller blonde that stood by Tyrion. He offered the girl a small smile, "Welcome to the family..."
OOC Notes
"Thanks, I guess." she said to Lucas after his little welcoming thing, so this was one of her new step brothers, she guessed that Regan was the other although he didn't look like the happiest fellow. Juliette linked her hands in front of her, trying to wipe the uneasiness off of her expression. She'd bare this awkwardness for a few more minutes then go hide in her loft.
OOC Notes
As he entered the circle of conversation between Lucas and Juliette Tyrion wait patiently before he spoke. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Tyrion Glacies, family friend of all who are gathered here, with the exception of you of course. The Ignis house is a fine place to call home, it is definitely spacious enough, you can be assured of that." Beautiful as she was Tyrion wanted to know if she had any inner beauty and what kind of person she was, but all would reveal itself in time, he supposed. "May I ask where you hail from?" Tyrion realized his question may be to all in compassing, so he corrected himself. "Where did you live prior?"
OOC Notes
“Alice…” He stopped, letting her go on, finishing with the idea that he was perfect. “Al, I’m so sorry I didn’t call you last term, but you know me and how I get when I study. I never meant to forget you, I know I should have called you to wish you luck with exams and it was appalling behaviour on my part. Please forgive me if I ever made you feel bad, I would never want that.” He walked up behind her, his heart in his throat and gave into his impulse, wrapping his arms around her in an warm, yet fearful hug. Not much affected Kato, ignoring many of life’s finer things to further his knowledge and talent. This was something he held dear and never wanted to damage, these people, the knights families were what he fought for and loved dearly. Alice though often provoked a different reaction in him, pulling in the smell of her hair he sighed, resting his chin atop her head for a moment.
“Uncle Kato and Alice are…” Twyla stopped mid yell, coming to an abrupt silence at the sight of the new girl, becoming shy. Tamysn moved through the people with an effortlessness that showed great skill, scooping her little girl up in her arms. She hugged her briefly, shaking her head when she opened her mouth, wither to say what had happened between Alice and Kato or to ask what was going on. She placed a finger over her lips, signalling silence; it was so very important that this first meeting between the new girl and knights went well. First impressions were all important, the foundations that would be built upon with trust and friendship. Keeping her wriggling bundle still she moved to stand at Regan’s side, a show of solidarity on her part, knowing he would be the least happy about the new arrival.
“Go on Twyla, go say hi.” Tamsyn smiled down at her child, lowering her to the floor pushing her forward. She watched her with suddenly analytical smiles, trying to gauge how she would do. The little toddler stood silent for a moment, hands clasped before her legs, twiddling a her foot in a curious manner. She looked up at the tall girl before her, moving slowly forward and offered a hand to Juliet, eyes wide.
“I’m sorry.” He said once more, moving away from her. “I don’t mean for it to be that way, I’m so used to being polite and correct sometimes I forget to be normal around those I care for.” He smiled to himself briefly, looking out the window with solemn eyes.
OOC Notes
Juliette gently took the childs hand, giving it a light squeeze. "Wow," she commented, "I think you're braver than me."

- Age 25
- Knight Older sister
- Weapon Short sword held in a spine sheath.
- Personality Key is utterly smooth and flawless, seeming endlessly cold to anyone she meets. When it comes to family she hates her father and loves her little sister Mai, she feels no regret over the recent death of her father. An outwardly violent person, she will easily fall into a fight; uncaring if the cause is worth the effort. She comes across as a cold hearted goth, evil poised perfectly over her head, few people would approach her for anything.
- Appearance

Long hair falls to her chest, with a long fringe that covers her emotionless eyes; usually she has half up bunches. Her eyes, when uncovered glow the pales ice blue; showing that she is almost blind; rarely does she let them be seen by others, thinking them weak. Her ruby red lips attract attention, though she rarely smiles, they have a richness that many envy. Like most of her family she is short, the top of her head only just surpassing her sisters at 5ft4, with her slender body overly muscled for someone of such a delicate frame. Her every move promotes violence with its predator like movements.
- History Like her sister she was trained from the first time she could move under her own efforts, but soon her father gave over the main interest to her younger sister, appalled at her poor eyesight even when she was younger and she often felt like faulty goods. This however did not put her off her training, simply she trained on her own without guidance, furthering her special techniques that helped her deal with her sight. At the age of 17 she was put into a juvenile correction facility for one year, after beat a man who had come onto her, leaving him at the brink of death in a side street. There she soon became one of the most feared women, her utter ruthlessness uncompromised by where she now was. After 2 years out she was placed in jail for murdering man, the 20 year old had been picking on her sister aged 14 and she flipped, slashing him into tiny ribbons as her rage took over. She stayed in prison for 5 years, failing to get out after her 3 year sentence because of a prison riot she instigated; only now let out to take care of her younger sister. Though she had been informed of her fathers death it took many years for the paperwork to come through, making it almost impossible to find her sister. Months after release she has finally found an address with the right name and is returning home.
(This is a temp character to get Mai posting as I think we need some evil!)
