Esther's appearance is drastically affected by her case of oculocutaneous albinism (Subtype OCA2). Her skin and hair produce no melanin whatsoever, resulting in a somewhat ghostly appearance. Her reddish-yellow hair, which has never been dyed, is often pulled back into a ponytail. Intense sunscreen is applied daily to any skin exposed to the sun in order to avoid painful sunburn.

Complimenting her already unorthodox appearance, Esther stands at nearly six feet tall, and is noticeably boney. Her wardrobe consists of mainly items collected from her travels, although she could be comfortable in a burlap sac if she was forced to wear one.
