Introduction
Dear Student,
This is a formal offer in regards to your enrollment to Avalon Academy. Avalon academy is a secondary education boarding school that provides the enrichment of gifted students. If you trulay are the recipent of this letter than I shall presume you know what I am refering to when I say gifted. You either have inhumane abilities that can not be expalined by normal means. You can not explain the things that happen, all you know is that they do happen and it is very real. This academy is designed to ensure you can co-exist in this world without incident. However, we also believe that what you may view as a curse is a gift that you should explore. I am here to tell you that there are others like you and that you are not alone here. Along with the usual subjects such as math, history, english and the sciences there are 3 programs you must be administered under while pursuing your academic career.
Knight House:
Founded by King Arthur, a prestigious class that teaches the ways of knighthood and the use of swordsmanship. Those who are of this class will learn how to uphold justice and how to protect others not destroy other. However, one must be of noble blood or be chosen by a scared or a legendary blade in order to become a knight. Although you may not be related to any great knights, but perhaps you are destined to become one. You can be another race as long as you fulfill the requirements. You must uphold good or you will be kicked out of this house.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Noble Lineage (AND/OR)
-Chosen by a legendary or sacred Sword
-Oath of a knight
Mage House:
This house was founded by Merlin and Morgan Lefay to promote the new age of young magic users. The most academically gifted house and for good reason. They have the highest variety of courses ranging from controllling the five elements to telepathy, telekenisis and foresight to hexes, potions and charms to sorcery and spiritual related ceremonies. Almost anything goes in this course because of it's innovative classes. It is often difficult to differentate psychic powers from sorcery to spirutal ones. In some ways they are all incredibly similar and different. They can be magical creatures that can take human form such as a fairy, a sprite, and angel, a mermaid... you name it. They can also be withces, succubus, or demons. This is the most open program because one can be good or evil, be any race and can learn just about anything.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Evidence of Spiritual OR Psychic OR Magical abilities
Dragon House:
This house was founded by Mordred the bastard son of king arthur. The most athletic house mostly because the residents are not exactly human. They usually posses monstrous srengths and abilities. Many have written horrifying tales about these monsters. These creatures often take human form and are actuallly forced to come to avalalon Academy. They could be succubus, vampires, dragons, or demons. The student may have a history of violence and that may have caused them to come to this house. There monstorus power has been deemed to dangerous and detrimental to mankind. In this program, you will learn how to control your untamed power once you graduated you will be able to control it. What you do with your power after, is beyond the school's control. However, there are consequences for rash actions be aware of this.

OOC Notes
It was a warm september morning, a cool wind blew across the trees in the quad of Avalon academy. It certainly was a magnificent academy with it's old arches and fine architecture. It was a remoddled in a renaissance style but, it looked authentically old. The academy had marvolous marble floors and cielings, it was hard to believe it was just a highschool. The students were high fiving each other upoun their reunion from 2 months earlier. Many were readying themselves for moving into the dining hall for the opening ceremony.
"Haa... Haa... Haa..." A short girl panted heavily as she darted across the quad in her school uniform.
Julliet Sonata ran dodging weaving in and out of people holding onto her little clipboard. She was a short, small girl, her long grey hair was the only thing that they noticed before they noticed she was already gone.
"Was that?" A male student said
"Ha! Ha! Yup! Julliet Sonata... there she goes off running off again... I just hope she doesn't hurt herself this time around..." A female student said.
Julliet turned her head as she heard her name being called somewhere behind her and turned her head.
BANG!
"Oof!" Julliet ran face first into the back of a student, she was floored from the impact and landed on the grass with her back to cushion the blow.
The small girl tended to her forehead as she looked up at who she bumped to, the sun was in her eyes as the fellow student's shadow cast over her. She blinked as she got a clearer look at her features. She couldn't quite see her face as her eyes were still a little watery from the fall but, she could make out long blonde hair.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so so very very sorry!" Julliet said as she got off quickly and gave a quick bow.
OOC Notes
The school was massive, that’s all Nadiya could think as she stared at the giant marble pillars. She had never been to a formal school, instead she had been home schooled her entire life. She had also never been around this many people and it was slightly intimidating. Everyone talking about their amazing summers and catching up on all of the latest gossip, she envied how carefree and happy everyone around her was. She knew that if she just stepped up to someone and introduced herself it would be alright, the worst they could do was tell her to piss off. But just as she was stepping forward to walk up to a group of talkative girls someone bumped into her from behind. She stumbled from the impact and turned around glaring at the small figure huddled on the ground.
“Don’t you watch where you’re walking?” she hissed as she brushed herself off, as if she had gotten dirty.

Jullie hung her head in slight embarassment as she grabbed her clipboard off the ground and as she hid behind it. Her face was burning up upon her embarassment and her knees began to shake in fear. The small girl began to back away slowly from Nadiya, the other girl was alot taller than herself and she didn't want to anger whatever she really was. Always one to avoid confrontation, the best course of action was to run.
"I'm... I'm so sorry! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!" She apologized as she darted in the other direction.
A male voice would resonate from behind Nadiya, "You have to forgive her she's a bit of a clutz- Jullie! Watch out for that-"
Jullie had ran face first into a trunk of a tree there was a sickening thump as her skull collided with the tree. The small girl was thrown back from the impact and was knocked unconcious.

Nadiya watched the small girl squirm under her gaze for a few moments before shouting a string of apologizes and run away. She also watched the girl fall onto the ground once again before turning around to face the young man that was addressing her. He was staring at the smaller girl with a sweet, caring look on his face. A wave of green envy rolled through her and she was forced to look away, dropping her gaze to the ground as she forced herself to calm down one deep breath at a time.
“You would think by this age we could at least walk without running into things.”
She let her gaze travel across the ground until it landed on the small unconscious figure, and after a moment of silence she spoke again this time her voice much quieter and calmer.
“I do wonder if she is alright though. That was quite an impact.”

The young man had dark hair and was wearing brown contact lenses to hide his original eye color. He walked over to Julliet as he lifted her off her feet and shook her a little until she woke up. Jullie blinked before walking around in a dazed state before shaking her head.
"I'm gonna be late for being early!" she darted off to the dining hall for the opening ceremonies, "Thanks Gavin!"
The young man sighed out loud, "She'll be fine... Julliet Sonata has a reputation for running into things among other things."
Gavin was about average height and a good build for a guy his size. His attention turned to Nadiya and blinked a few time. Next, he rested his chin on the back of his fingers as he tilted side to side examining Nadiya.
"Hmm.. you know? I've never seen you around before... you must be a freshmen or a transfer student. My name is Gavin, I'm a second year from knight house." Gavin said as he introduced himself, "Since you're probably new here, if you any questions don't hesitate to ask me. Oh and the opening ceremonies are going to be held at the dining hall and then we'll get settled in your rooms."

Watching the two interact Nadiya couldn’t help the smile tugging at the corner of her mouth, although actually letting herself smile was unheard of. The young girl popped up and was off running once again. She briefly wondered why the girl didn’t just slow down and walk; she could avoid running into moving objects and stationary ones as well.
She nodded her head as he commented on the normalcy of these run in’s, watching the grey haired girl disappear in the crowd of people. She tensed as she felt him eyeing her up, and looked up to his face. She had never gone to school but she assumed this was part of that prime-evil moment when the other students decided whether you were predator or prey. She tried the best she could to look fierce, not wanting to come off as weak or inferior. The young man turned away and walked a few steps the other direction and then stopped, "Though it's common courtesy to give me your name when I gave you mine..."
"Vampire...." He whispered as he quickly disappeared into the on coming crowd.
When Nadiya smiled, he saw a glimpse of her teeth and reconfirmed it as she spoke back to him. As soon as he broke away from the crowd and into a clearing, he looked up to see an overlowing shadow. His mouth cracked a grin as he began to crack his knuckles.
"You don't belong in the house of knight... Dunpiel" said a deep male voice, "Even if Headmaster Caliburn may say you belong, you never will!"
"Funny, I don't remeber asking for your approval of me... I see you brought your friends Mason... typical of a coward like you..."

The hustle and bustle of students was loud and ecoed through the dining hall. The room was lit up with beautiful chandilers and the warmth of the sun as it shone through the stain glass windows. The students sat bellow in huge long tables as, the teachers sat up on the second level on wooden chairs. On the third level sat Headmaster Caliburn. The student council stood at the front and sure enough Jullie was working behind the scenes setting everything up before settling down with the rest of the council. She quickly rose again and went out to the tables.
"C-can everyone b-be quiet? The Cere..ceremony is starting... Please..be quiet...the ceremony..." Her voice became lower and lower as the crowd became louder and louder.
Alastor Caliburn sat crossed legged with one hand suppourting his chin as he let out a reluctant sigh. He was quite young for his age which no one seemed to know his age. However, they knew this school was established long ago yet, there had always been one headmaster. The headmaster rose and walked down the step as he called out with his suprising loud yet soft voice.
"We will now begin the opening ceremonies..."
The student body became instantly quiet.
"I welcome you all to Avalon Academy a school where I hope becomes your home as I call it mine. I will remind you that although this school inhabits many gifted individuals. This is a palce of learning not violence. I will not tolerate violent behaviour by any means necessary. Bullying is forbidden and will be punished accordingly. The student council will now countinue the ceremony give them your fullest attention. That is all! I hope you all have a wonderful year!"
The students began to clap they had deep respect for that man. (Last post for today)

If Nadiya thought standing in the quad was overwhelming, sitting in the dining hall while everyone talked was almost unbearable. Although if she was going to spend the entire year here, and then some, she realized she would just have to get used to it. She ended up sitting next to a group of giggling girls, but the moment Headmaster Caliburn stood up everyone went silent.
His speech was short a simple, and Nadiya wondered if fighting was really that big of a problem. Well it must be if that’s all he spoke about. Maybe she wasn’t overreacting when she thought about the whole predator versus prey scenario. She clapped along with everybody else, and when everyone began talking among themselves once again she realized she was going to have to make some friends this year. The student council vice-president made his way to the crowd and peeked around the cafeteria, "Before I begin! It seems we are missing some students has anyone seen Mason Blackwood, Christopher Landstraw or, David Gore? Oh yes and has anyone seen Gavin Harker?"
The sickening sound of glass shattering echoed throught the dining hall. At that exact moment a giant wolf creature came crashing out of the stained glass creating many of the student body to scream. It landed in front of Nadiya and hit the dining table with a thud. The creature groaned in pain as it's limbs were sprawled out across the table. It was a huge monstrous looking beast with thick dark fur and long sharp claws.The student body looked up as a figure's shadow stood in place of where the stained glass once was. His red eyes glowed menacingly as the shards of glass fell around him as the sun made them sparkle.
The figure descended from the window as he slowly began to float down as if he was a feather. Headmaster Caliburn was about to get out of his seat but, one of the teachers stood up and put his arm out signaling that he would handle it if it got out of hand.
"Gavin!" The Vice president said with a bit of anger in his voice, "It's the first day of the year and you're already causing trouble!"
The young man was obviously gavin who seemed too winded to speak at the momment. Gavin's uniform was tattered beyond repair. There was a big gash across his back as well as bite mark on his shoulder. What was left of his uniform was covered in blood and mud.
"Sorry, Danny! I really didn't want it to end up like this! Mason and his crew wanted a fight with me and I ...obliged" Gavin said as he threw up his hands with a casual shrug.
"Bullocks! That's no excuse you blockhead! You're a knight act like one!"
Suddenly, the black werewolf's eyes shot wide open and stared into Nadiya's before snarling and got into a crouched position and began to howl. The noise was unbearably loud it cuased the entire dining hall to vibrate. Two more wolves descended from the window as they bear there fangs against Gavin who seemed to retain his composure as they circled him. They were brown and abit smaller than the dark one but, they were quicker and swifter. Gavin's eyes glanced back to Mason who was currently crouched over on the table.
Mason, the bigger werewolf, then looked at Nadiya and began to snicker, "I haven't seen you before cutey pie... Fresh meat... me likey!"

It landed in front of Nadiya and hit the dining table with a thud. The creature groaned in pain as it's limbs were sprawled out across the table. It was a huge monstrous looking beast with thick dark fur and long sharp claws.The student body looked up as a figure's shadow stood in place of where the stained glass once was. The sound of glass shattered caused the group of girls next to her to quiet and then promptly scream. A few seconds too late Nadiya turned just in time to see the giant wolf land on the table right in front of her. If she had a sense of humor she might have laughed at the irony, of all the tables in the dining hall it had to land on hers. This was all too familiar, she would have screamed if her throat hadn’t locked itself up. She could feel the girls next to her standing up and running out of harm’s way but she was frozen in her seat staring at the large furry mass.
‘What happened to no fighting?’ she thoughts as her hands reached down grasping the seat of her chair firmly in her hands. Didn’t they just listen to a lecture about no fighting and here something, she refused to think of the large furry mass as human, was thrown through a wall. Before she could even think of who had thrown it through, she saw Gavin floating his way down from the shattered window. She could hear him talking to someone but her ears were ringing so loud she couldn’t make out anything he had said. She dropped her gaze back down to the wolf just in time for him to open his eyes and stare right into hers. Her lips immediately pulled up baring her teeth like a dog warning others that it wasn’t in the mood to play but he had already crouched down and opened his mouth. Nadiya couldn’t hear him, but she could feel it vibrating through her chair, making her hands gripping her chair shake from the vibrations. As his howl began to die Nadiya’s hearing returned, another odd twist but now that she could finally hear what was going on she wasn’t going to complain. She stopped as the wolf spoke to her and wished briefly that her hearing hadn’t returned quite yet.
“Idy na khuj,” she hissed baring her teeth once again. She knew he probably didn’t understand the language but expletives were pretty much universal, ‘Go get screwed’ although not so politely. She debated briefly; Gavin looked like he was holding his own but…
She stood up, her chair falling backwards from her sudden movement.
“Don’t you animals think you should fight fair? Or do you not have a chance against him if you fight one on one?” she asked letting her loud mouth get the best of her. She knew she shouldn’t fight other peoples battles, but she couldn’t just stand aside and watch such an unfair fight.

The wolfman began to show off his claws which were big enough to wrap his entire hand around her little head. At first, he was quite perplexed by what the girl said speaking in another language. He began to smile a foriegn girl sounded really nice to him. He began to chuckle lowly in his throat as he scratched the back of his head. Mason began to laugh alittle as the girl stood up to her, "Aww... the kitty has claws! Well, so do I... Oh and that gavin punk has what he's gettin too him! How can a half breed like him become a knight! While we are stuck here in Dragon House!"
Gavin clenched his fangs as he heard that last comment and began to walk towards Mason seething with anger.
One of the two wolves that were circling him lunged at him as he tried to take Gavin to the ground and tear at him. The half vampire clenched his fist and shattered the beast's jaw with the back of his hand. The beast flew back with a yelp as Gavin charged on. Danny, the vice president, tackled the other wolf to the ground restraining him with relative ease. Gavin's eyes were burning red at this point as his hatred shone through his eyes. Mason laughed at this and got on all fours and charged after Gavin bearing his sharp razor teeth. The half vampire snapped his fingers and with a flash of red light and a sword was summoned to his hand. The two students rushed at each other as Gavin lifted his sword over his shoulder and Mason began to leap out in mid air as his jaw shifted open.
"That's enough damage for one day boys..." The teacher from earlier intervened as he sudden;y appeared between them.
His one hand gripped on the blade of Gavin's sword as the other was on mason's muzzle holding his jaw shut tight. The teacher was wearing a red hood with a dragon on the back of it symbolizing that he was a teacher at dragon House.
"Mr. Harker! Mr. Blackwood, Landstraw and Gore! DETENTION! Now!" He yelled.
Gavin smiled and pulled back his blade making the blade disapear in short burst of flames. The half vampire walked out of the building with the other three who had now reverted to human form. After they left, a group of mages quickly got rid of the mess and repaired the window in a few minutes. The entire hall was busing with news about Gavin.
"You know that Mason's black was an asshole but, you know he has a point!"
"That Gavin Harker is nothing but trouble! Last year, I heard he killed someone with his fingersand then drank all their blood!"
"Stinking half breed!"
The ceremonies would resume shortly after... It was a long speech about the possibility of a new year and a fresh start. It was about reaching a new cornerstone in life... And all that Jazz...
Afterwards, the studnets were dismissed and sent to theirnewly assigned dorimatories.

They were stuck in Dragon house? She almost gave into the comedic irony and laughed, of course the wolf boys were part of her house. Well maybe she was part of their house; she was the new kid on campus after all. It only took a few moments for the teachers to intervene, although why they hadn’t before Nadiya couldn’t even begin to assume. Her step-father had always said ‘When you assume you make an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’ and ‘me’.’ She never did understand his American humor but she would laugh anyway. Soon things had settled down, well as much as they could be. She could hear the students around her whispering about Gavin while the opening ceremonies continued. The gaggle of girls never returned, she didn’t blame them.
Soon, but not soon enough they were dismissed and sent off to their dormitories. As she was leaving the dining hall Nadiya couldn’t help but look back at the newly fixed window. Even though she had never gone to a normal school, she doubted things like that were normal. Although at a school like this, maybe they were.

As Nadiya walked into her dormitory she discovers her suitcases in the center of the room. Half othe room was already taken and settled in. It had two desks, two bookshelves and two single size beds. Nadiya would see a lump on her room mate's bed or rather someone hiding underneath the sheats. She could see that her room mate had an assortment of books and a stuffed lion toy. Her roomate would reveal herself and push her sheets off of her.
"I'm going tobe your roomate for the year! Hi, my name's Julliet Sonata -a -a -A! I'm so sorry from earlier!" Julliet said with a panicing voice.

“Just don’t make a habit of it,” Nadiya said as she walked into the room. She hadn’t thought that it had taken her too long to get to her dormitory, but seeing as her roommate had already unpacked obviously it had taken her longer than she thought. Although this school was huge and she had taken a few wrong turns; direction really wasn’t Nadiya’s forte.
Grabbing her suitcases off the floor she moved them to her bed and began to unpack. All of her books placed on the shelf in alphabetical order, all of her clothes refolded and placed away, and a few picture frames filled with family photos. Moving to sit back down on her bed Nadiya realized she hadn’t introduced herself, she wasn't naturally a social person. Walking towards Julliet she placed her hand out to shake the other girls.

“Tak, Ja z Ukraine. Zvidky vy?” (Yes, I’m from Ukraine. Where are you from?) Nadiya said smiling as she shook the other girl’s hand. Sitting down on her bed she crossed her legs and turned to face the smaller girl.

She felt kind of bad, she wasn’t very good at socializing and keeping up conversations but she was trying her best to be nice. She could only imagine what the small girl would think if she told her exactly why she was in London attending this school. Shaking her head she looked up at the girl.

Jullie blinked twice when she was told her new room mate was a vampire. This was defeinitly something she didn't see coming but, she worked out that she could have been a werecow which was much worse.
"Oh, I see you're a v-vampire, w-well if you're ever hungry you can go to the main office and ask for synthetic blood. I here from G-...,I mean another vampire that it tastes like crap and even if you microwave it it will get cold real fast. I like it here a lot! You'll have fun too, tons of interesting people, professors and you'll defintily fit in. Because you're in the dragon house your classes are going to be filled with really... aggresive individuals but, you'll be fine as long as you keep a low profile" Jullie said as she smiled at her new roomie ^_^
"You aren't going to drink my blood are you?" Jullie said, pretending to be scared
Jullie broke out into laughter as she couldn't keep a straight face, her smile began to fade as she realized somthing.
"Nadiya... there is something very, very serious I must tell you and please, please heed my words. I don't want to elaborate on why but, please just do what I say this is for your own safety" Jullie said with a firm confident voice.
Jullie stared directly into Nadiya's purple like eyes.

Synthetic blood? Nadiya had never heard of the stuff until she had been brought to the school. She knew it was going to be horrible, but hopefully it would at least be bearable. She kept trying to tell herself that she couldn’t slip away to find someone to feed from, she had to fit into this school and that was unacceptable. That didn’t make it any less appealing though.
She had seen how aggressive those individuals were, and only hoped that she could keep that low profile Julliet was talking about. As the girls tone turned serious Nadiya looked over to stare into her eyes.

Julliet sighed, "It's probably nothing, you probably didn't do anything that bad but, you see Vampire Hunters are known to attack vampires who have a history of violence but, sometimes they attack them just for the hell of it. There are several hunters at this school, Gavin, the boy you met earlier today, is one of them. Despite his age, he is a full fledged hunter that means he has killed your kind before. But, Gavin only fights bad vampires and kills really really evil vampires not a charivnyy (cute) vampire like you. So, like I said, nothing for you to worry about, it's just something that you might have wanted to know for future reference."
The psychic then opened her window to let in some fresh air and she began to get her backpack as she put on her shoes, "I'm going to the library! I'll see you at dinner!"
She went out the door and closed it behind her. Suddenly, Nadiya would hear a large crashing sound.
