There have been legends about the magical island of Avalon for as many years as anyone can remember. Stories, poems, books, and even movies have been written about it. Everyone just believed it was simply a beautiful fairy tale. Not so. Avalon is real. It's magic lay dormant for many long years until the founder of Avalon University discovered it, he decided to do something wonderful. Professor Riordan encouraged the life inside the island until it called out to others of power and beckoned them to it! He then decided to build a place upon the island to educate these powerful humans, for most of them were lost and afraid of their magic. Eventually, the island thrived and blossomed along with it's students, who were growing and living as a part of the magic it's self.

Professor Riordan has long since died, but Avalon and it's students still live and learn there. Some choose to leave the island and return to the 'Unveiled' world after graduating, while some choose to remain on the island permanently, and live their in magical bliss where they can use their powers right out in the open. Avalon is it's own little world, 'Veiled' from the rest of earth by a force field only detectable or opened by my magic. What sort of lives do these college students and professors live? We will see.

Romance is allowed, but keep it PG-16 or so..

This is a Literate to Advanced role play. This means at least ten sentences per post, preferably around like..two paragraphs.

Also, use proper grammar and type in third person.

Be descriptive! Don't be afraid to get creative!

Powers must be reasonable, one power per person. No one is invincible.

You cannot have control over all the elements either. Pick one.

Post at least twice a week.

Be nice to others.

You can be a college student, age 18-24 or a professor age 24-50
