Sarnura walked through the woods, trying to find....something. She wasnt quite sure what. She had a feeling though she would run into someone who could help her eventually. Lepu was on her shoulder, his warm fur nestling against her neck. She could hear the forest, the animals, everything. The morning light shining through the trees, creating a vibrant assortment of colors. Sarnura, for a moment, thought someone was following her. She heard a noise behind her. "WHO ARE YOU, WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME" she yelled to whoever was following her. She had only left the shattered remains of her once beloved town about 15 minuets ago. She turned around, sighing. "Great, now im hearing things...." She mumbled to herself.

She started walking only to run into a group of men. "Hello Kitty" siad one of the larger men, who was about 2x her size. From what she could tell, they were Bandits. One of them looked at her. "Hmm, perhaps we could..." he said, looking at Sarnura and reaching for her. Sarnura was instantly angry. "You...did not....just...say....what i think you said..." she said in a very angry tone. Her pack that was holding her water opened by the water inside of it. Sarnura kicked the big man holding her very hard...and he let her go. She then blasted 2 of them against some hard old trees. The one who had just suggested the idea had his hand whipped by water, and then pinned by ice to a tree. The bigger man that had been holding her before managed to dodge all of this and try to grab her again. She tried to reach for her sword that was made for her by her father. But the man was holding her tightly...

Lepu managed to then bite his hand. Thank you Lepu" she yelled as she took out her sword, only to be pushed aside. She rolled down a hill to the shore of a river. The Bandit had a (i assume they would have these since you said industrial (gun)) device of some sort. He aimed it at her. "No one messes with me..." he said. Sarnura noticed something in the river. She picked it up and threw it at him. It hit his hand and knocked the device out. She then found herself catching it. It was a boomerang of some sort. She decided she might need this, then looked back up at the man, who was still bigger then her....

(sorry for long intro, i kinda got carried away ^.^. Oh and yes, if you examine it, and clean it, and get the faded away scratch marks cleared up, it would say Sokka's Boomerang XD RETURN OF THE BOOMERANG!)

Meanwhile, In a nearby Cave....

Zaruchaku was practicing himself with some training regiments. He'd come to his area because he learned from the master of another Sacred Lantern that this was the proper place to practice a certain technique. Which one, Zaru Still did not know.

He stood up, leaving his cross legged positon, and held his arms by his side. He took a deep breath, and focused. He chanted to himself, trying to strengthen himself, or so it appeared.

"Haaaaagh....."

He began to Glow a Little Bit. Pleased, Zaru put all his force into it.

"HAAAAAAAAUUUUGGGGGHH!!!!!" He thundered. Not a Good Idea.

A Blue Light burst out of the cave entrance, taking down a tree or two, as well as frightening off some wild animals. Some of the cave- Correction, the ENTIRE cave, was crashing down on Zaru.

He tried to make a run for it, his speed not enough, as bad footing befalled him, and he hit the ground face-first, as he was buried in Large Rubble.

Only his hand stuck out, near the entrance. If one looked closely, that hand could be seen. His Left Hand, Precisely.

(so now we all know what happened to that Boomerang :D)(And it only figures the story should start out with someone finding it XD)

Sarnura looked at the man. However, she also realized something. He was standing on a giant pile of mud. And mud had water. Sarnura bended the water and caused him to crash into the river and go down stream, only for her to trap him in ice. She formed an ice hammer over her hand, and hit him in the face, causing him to fall back into the water. Lepu returned to her shoulder. She put her sword away, and as she walked back up the mountain, examined the Boomerang. IT was water tribe, southern style. She then heard another noise. She stormed over furiously to the noise. She found a large mountain with some rubble on the side. "Hey Lepu, didn't a mine yous to be here?" She asked him. There was supost to be an old mine there. Lepu pointed out some downed trees with fire bending marks on them.

"Hmm, maybe a training session or something." she told Lepu. Without looking too much, Sarnura st down on the pile of rocks. She instantly got up after feeling something move under her. She looked and noticed a hand. "Someone might need help in there Lepu, stand back!" she yelled. She took out a good amount of water and started smashing at the rock. She kept breaking it, till the many smaller rocks rolled someone out. "Are you ok?" she asked him. She used her water bending to help wake him up.

Zaru coughed up a fish.

"T-Thanks, Angel. I needed That."

He slowly got up, a small bit of blue aura still about him.

Yori was in the woods, using her yo yo to latch onto trees and propel her to other trees. She wasn't at all surprised to see a group of bandits surrounding a girl. What did surprise her however, was the fact that the girl had defended herself...with water bending skills. Why, she hadn't stumbled upon a water bender in her life. it was a thing she'd heard of in stories. Then again, if she, an earth bender were still around, why couldn't a water bender still walk about the world?

Yori was sitting on a large tree branch in a tree near where the incident occurred. When all was said and done, she clapped for the girl and jumped down with a loud thump. "I need to know who that water bender is, and if I can observe or even train with her help..." She muttered to herself, following the girl quietly.

Zaru coughed a bit. The Caverns collapsing on him did a pretty big number on him. But he managed. He was a master of Fists. His body had been tempered to be stronger than most.

He sensed a Third aura including the waterbbender and her pet. In other words, he knew Yori wasn't far.

"Oi! You!"

He was staring.....at her.....Yo Yo's.

"Using Yo Yo's With Earthbending is AWESOME!"

He ran over, and began to look at the Yo Yo's which Were the weapon of choice for this girl. Such an odd idea to use them, but it made more sense that it was in use by an Earthbender, rather than a waterbender, or a firebender. But regardless, It was still pretty cool.

"Have you considered drilling a hole in the middle?" Asked Zaru. "You could make them more Aerodynamic, and perhaps replace certain materials for better durability!"

He looked to the Boomerang that Sarnura had. That Too piqued his interest.

"Oh! Lets see it here!"

He snatched the weapon, and looked at it closely.

"Whoa! This baby looks like with a bit of sharpening, it could better go through the air. Or dulling it a certain way could possibly make it more of less lethal weapon. Good Craftsmanship! Whoever made it musta' been a real genius!"

Sarnura blinked. "How did you swallow a fish...in a cave?" she asked him. Lepu had found a nut and started to eat it. "Well i see you found your meal" Sarnura told the lemur. She turned back to Zaru, facing the man who was still getting up. He had a slight aura around him. "My name is Sarnura. This is my Lemur, Lepu" she introduced them. Another noise. "We should go, there is...hopefully...a town nearby" she noted. She saw Zaru run off, and followed him, find an earth bender who uses Yo-Yos in the process. "Well that is somewhat interesting...." she noted. She then took her Boomerang back. "Yeah, i found it recently. It also just saved my life" she noted. She then also noted "we should find a nearby town guys" then adding in "But not Tammel, it has been destroyed..." she said, holding back her tears. She began leading them to the nearby town.

A few minuets later, they arrived at Beggedon, a earth kingdom city. It had some rivers for trade going into it too. Sarnura remembered coming here before. It was a little before her mother died 4 years ago. She was living with her mom and older sister. She had come here to get some flowers because her mom was sick (which she would later die from). Sarnura held back the memory, and pressed forward, hoping someone could tell her what was going on. She looked at Zaru and Yori. "I don't suppose you know what is going on do you?" she asked them. She felt her hand grab the boomerang...scared of what they might say...

"Thanks. I'm Yori by the way, but I can't say I'm very good at earthbending..." She said with a sigh. "I might even be considered useless, but thank you sir. And no I haven't considered making a hole in the middle! I should try that." She looked at her yo yos, and with a swift motion, moved a hand on top of one of them, causing a small hole to be made. To her surprise, she'd bended some of the material out of the yo yo. "I..did it. Holy crap!" Her lips curved to form a smile. "Thank you stranger." She added.

"I hope you don't mind if I come with you guys. I have one last point of business there..." Her voice sounded solemn but confirmed in response. As soon as they reached the city, she made her way to a small gravesite, where she bent down and closed her eyes in prayer. "Father, mother...I will avenge you both. None of you deserved to die like you did." She said aloud. She then took something out of her pocket: an emerald green colored pebble, and placed in near the furthest grave. "Mother, I brought this for you. I know you aren't alive, but...it's to show that I will be leaving so I can get stronger. I am not coming back until the war is over."

( I understand completely, Character. I can't keep up. XD)

"Zaruchaku." Zaru replied. "That Fish...was my dinner."

"I was staying back at that area" explained Zaru. "I had been deep in my Martial Arts training."

He crossed his arms.

"Ease yourself, friend. Your Natural Aura shines finely. You're a good person."

Zaru noticed Yori's respect for her dead family, and had a small smile. She was also a very good person.

(Jay, you may want to check out the OOC, the GM said for one paragraph minimum)

Sarnura came behind Yori. "I wish i had my time to say goodbye, but i never did...." she noted, trailing off. Clearly something upset her. Lepu did some funny things to try and cheer her up. "Now, we have to..." she got cut off, by the sound of someone...or something...attacking the town. Sarnura went to the entrance, only to see these...things...attack them. Just like the ones that attacked her town before. Sarnura looked at them. She was sad. Everyone she ever knew (or at least she thinks) died. Her mother. Her friends. Her house.

Sarnura snapped out of it. She would NOT let it happen again. She took some of her water and drove it in ice form threw the things. One of them knocked her over though, and picked up one of its Metallic limbs, about to crush her. She had only been more scared, more frightened, once in her whole life. Once her Mother died, Sarnura's sister Kamee took control. Kamee had been mean to Sarnura her whole life. But once their mom was gone, she was able to do whatever she so pleased. Sarnura for 4 years after her moms death had to "help" her sister with her work, although she seemed to do none of it. She treated her even worse then a tool. The one thing she liked about this whole thing: she no longer had to listen to her sister. Sarnura screamed as the leg came toward her, about to crush her.

(Yeah, I noticed that, and I'll be trying to make longer posts.)

Zaru Rushed ahead of Sarnura. "You Idiot! Don't stand still!" Barked Jay, Throwing A punch at the attackers. "Don't you value your life?!" And then just that moment, Zaru was struck in the gut, by a massive blow that seemed to have appeared from thin-air. He coughed up a bit of blood. This enemy was unlike any other he'd fought. "A Wise guy, eh?" He'd thought to himself. "No matter! they're gonna drop Dead once we're through!

Zaru grabbed the Leg that struck him. The mechanical Limb extended a pointed blade at Him, but he was quick to catch it, and snap it in two. It was a small blade, so he managed to pull it off. A Grin on his face, He began to throw a barrage of Rapid punches, while, most unusually, shouting "ATATATATATA!!!"

"WATAAAA!!!"

A Mighty blow, Specifically an Uppercut like a Bomb Detonation, had went off on the attacker, launching them into the air, and hitting the ground a few feet away.

"Tora Jujizan! (Tiger Cross-Kill)"

Xi Tan glanced up as the boat man called out, "Last stop, Beggedon!" Xi Tan gave the man a slight stare as he was the only one he could talk to on the boat. As it pulled ashore, Xi Tan pulled out his money and payed the boat man, thanking him for his help. He cast a glance around at the city, using his one arm to shield the sun as he looked at the people. A smile crossed his face. He looked down at his left shoulder, where his arm used to be attached. "maybe here, we can find some answers."
Xi Tan started to walk through the city, searching for an inn, tavern, anywhere he could get something to eat. The boat ride up the river had been quite long and he had forgotten to pack food before leaving. He treated every person he passed with a kind smile, even though most seemed shocked at this simple kindness.
He had just found a perfect place, when a scream and a sound of battle from behind him made Xi Tan turn in alarm. Behind him, just a few yards off, something...no, a group of somethings were invading the city, destryoing stuff and people that got in their way. One such thing had it's foot poised over a young girl in blue, ready to crush her.
Without hesitation, Xi Tan broke into a sprint toward them. About ten feet away, he pitched his body forward, using his lone arm to go into a front flip. As his feet touched the ground, his heels dug into the ground. The impact sent a shockwave out in a direct line toward the metal being.
The tremor hit the being in it's one stable foot, causing it to lose it's balance. It began to fall forward, towards the girl. Crap! That didn't help! Xi Tan rushed forward, and stood between the machine and the girl and pounded his foot into the ground again. This brought up a stone wall from the earth. He braced his back and arm against it to prevent it from falling right away. His muscles strained and sweat beaded his forehead with the weight. Xi Tan then looked down at the girl.
"Hi! Nice to meet you. this thing is really heavy. So, if you don't mind moving right now?"

(um, she was knocked down, and she didn't have anywhere to move Zaru)(Thanks Xi!)

Sarnura stood up, looking around for anything she could use, and thanking Xi for the help. Then she saw some fountains and the river. Sarnura used the water nearby to make ice shards. One of the ones that was about to get Zaru from behind soon had giant shards of ice in them, completely destroying them. Sarnura then heard something behind them. Republic Troops. With Weird devices of some kind. Sarnura made a giant wall of ice to protect them. She took out Boomy. "Don't fail me now Boomy" she screamed, throwing it around the ice wall. She could see through the ice that it had knocked their weapons out of their hand. She pushed the Ice wall forward, knocking them out.

Sarnura saw more of these things coming and more Republic troops as well. There was no way they could fight them all off. "Hold on!" she yelled as she made a giant wave and made it push them all onto a boat docked in the river. "QUICK, EVERYONE, HOLD ON TO SOMETHING" she yelled again. But she didn't need to explain why. The water under the boat started to raise, and then pushed the boat out of town. Sarnura sighed. They made it...

"By the way" she gasped, noting "I never got your name. Mine is Sarnura, and this is my Lemur Lepu"

Zaru held on as tight as possible to a random object he saw. He sighed.

"My Time to fight is rare, It would seem."

(He was attacking a separate person)

"I hated my father until he died..." Yori replied honestly as she stood up. "Only now do I realize that he was being harsh to me because he loved me and wanted me to earthbend to the finest of my ability." she sighed. "I was a fool." She then reacted to the noise, readying her weapon. She couldn't believe a fight had begun. "Can't you jerks just leave us alone once in awhile?! First you kill our families, and now you have to finish the damage to this town!" In a firery rage, she sprinted towards a few of the attackers, her yo yos flying about as it hit a few of them in the head.

"Most of the villagers are dead because of you! And I won't let you desicrate this place anymore! OVER MY DEAD BODY!" She managed to earthbend a small earth shake under a few of the attackers' feet, but it wasn't strong enough for them to fall of severe injury. Before she could do anything else, she was wisked away and holding onto a boat with the others, her temper unchanging.

(sorry. ^^U I was slow again)

(X.X Major Confusion.)

Zaru was desparately in the mood to rush off and attack the soldiers, however Sarnura's actions prevented such action. "Damn!" Thought Zaru. "I may only have one crowd clearing move, but it could do the trick, granted we weren't doing whatever was happening!"

"SOMEBODY GET ME OFF THIS CRAZY BOAT!!" He screamed out, staring at the water underneath them. This was not exactly his ideal day. Not at all. Two Mysterious girls, that he attempted to befriend due to their peaceful aura, and now, one of them was about to kill the whole lot of them. Bloody Hell.

He gritted his teeth, and shut his eyes. It can't be that bad....

"Those bastards are trashing my homeland!" Yori said, her expression one of complete annoyance. "Look, thanks for saving us and all, but I could've wiped the floor with those bastards! And now, they will destroy not only the village, but my family's resting place." She sighed and moved to the other side of the boat, away from the rest of the group.

"And there's nothing I can do now..." She sat down quietly, burying her face in her hands. "I have failed my family."

(no, she saved us all, it was basically 2 options: Run or death)(there was no way we woulda won taht fight, we may be elite, but more were coming, that was the same army that attacked the much larger town, her home town, without a single loss. It was not going to be a battle you could win)

"Sorry guys" she said, calming down the boat. "There were too many for us. We were almost surrounded" she gasped. "They had superior technology and equipment. We were overrun. Everyone else was gone. I counted 40 troops, and at least 15 of those...things. And we couldn't have saved them. There was too many." she shuddered, Lepu helping her. Clearly though, something about what Yori said had greatly changed her mood. she went from tired and caring to depressed and hidden. She began to look for something, anything, to take it off her mind. Sarnura took out a map on this ship. "Ok, where do you think we could find a place to hide. I know the earth Capitals are still strong and fighting, but those are too far. So is the North and South Pole. That leaves one of the air temples, but we would need a Bison for that." she told them. Bison were very rare, and finding one would be very difficult.

"So, does anyone have any ideas?" she asked them. They needed someplace safe and close. They couldn't stay on the seas forever, eventually the Republic would find them..... as they discused, Sarnura sat down, in a state of sulkiness and despair. Yori's words cut deeper into her then it should have.

Zaru looked to Yori.

"No. NO." He told her. "Its NOT your fault. It isn't. and it will NEVER be."

He took Yori by the hands, and looked at her teary face. It was a depressing sight to see, and It made Zaru feel terrible. Feeling her sorrow, he acted quickly. He knew what had to be done.

"If they haven't destroyed the village yet, then we still have a chance to go after them!" Went Zaru. He looked out to the water. He was thinking about jumping off and swimming himself. "But Even if we're too late, We shouldn't let that stop us from making sure it doesn't happen to other people in other places! Yori, Do you wish to end your path here? to let some other girl, just like you, lose just as much as you could?...."

(I know Character. I know there was no way. :) I'm just getting into character here, lol. ;P You'll find that not only was Yori depressed about her home: She's often hard to deal with. I've kinda wanted to try rping as that difficult to get along with character. You know, kinda like Toph was at first? I'm basically capturing that idea since my characters are usually kind, calm and easy to deal with. But yeah trying something new. No worries. <3):

"No Zaru, I don't..." Yori began. "But Sarnura is right. There's no way we can fight them." She sighed. "And besides...I'm a weakling. I'm too short and I'm too weak. To top it all off, I'm selfish." With that she stood up. "I can't put you 3, complete strangers who have been saving my hide in danger. But there's nothing any of us can do. So please Zaru. Leave me to my thoughts. Though thank you sir, and everyone for caring. I just have to accept my failure."

After awhile, Yori calmed down and walked over to Sarnura. "There's an island where the Earth King and his family used to vacation on before the war about five miles east of here. It should be abandoned." She said simply. "We should move fast though, but for now, that seems like our best bet, don't you think?"

Sarnura couldn't stop herself from crying. The one person in her family that she even knew was her mom, and she died when she was 8. For 4 years she went through a living nightmare of Slavery, and she has never known her father. Sarnura tried to hold it in when Yori came over. "I...agree" she said, unable to hold back her full emotion. She kept her Boomerang close, and Lepu was on her shoulder. She tried to...and failed...smile when she looked at him. "please, start charting the course..." she moped, sinking into herself. Lepu offered her a berry.

(she only has 3-4 years of good memories, at lteast half of her life that she can remember was horrible.....she really needs that help)

The steel walls echoed with the industrial sounds of the city. The city groaned as it's metal structures, slowly gathered rust. Oil, leaked into the streets, leaving them black, and covered in grime. The smoke from the factories clouded, the sky, the light of the fires reflecting off the clouds, giving the city an eerie, orange glow. Republic city was a scourge to the earth. A towering building, in the center of the city. High above the smog of the city, the throne of the republic, stood above the suffering, oblivious to the pain of the city. The Fallen, stood watch over the destruction of the world.
"Who are they? These filthy worms that dare defy the will of god?"



The fight had raged on for about three day's. Feng Hui, second in command, in the rebel group know as the Extinct, arrives at the battle grounds.

Fang waved his hands around the air, controlling the flow of the air currents. Weaving the wind into a ball of air above his head. Wind currents from all direction gathered around him. The battle became quiet as both sides watched in awe, the wind turning violent. He stood in the middle of a large field, between both sides. A large golem like machine towering at 100 feet, clumsily made it's way towards him. Fang focused the wind even stronger, the roar of the wind was like a water fall. The sphere of air was easily noticeable as debris and dust got caught in it. The machine was almost on him. Feng began to focus the ball, making it grow smaller and smaller.
The giant, raised it's arm. The ball was now held in his palm. A soft hum, from the wind was all that was left now. The Giant's arm came down on top of him.

Pieces of metal were flying every where, the metal husk of the golem, was thrown backwards onto its back. A gigantic hole carved into it's chest. The metal was crushed, not torn, or ripped apart, simply pushed with such magnitude that it compacted. The hole went straight through the golem. Fang landed atop the giants head. With drawing his sword and lifting it into the air, giving the signal. Before the day was over, the battle was won. The rebel's had yet again challenged the might of the Fallen One, and come out on top. The fire nation colony was saved.



Fang was now on his next mission, he was to travel to Beggedon.
He walked out of the forest to witness the horrible sight.
(I think that's where you guy's are right now isn't it?)

Xi Tan stepped to side once the girl had moved, letting the wall and the machine fall to the ground with a "thud!" He wiped the sweat from his brow with his arm, and nodded at her. 'Thank you. The name's Xi Tan." He turned his attention back to the oncoming forces, their numbers greatly increased. He smiled to himself. "This is going to be fun!"
He raised his foot, ready to strike again, but was swept up like the others to the boat on the river, away from the fight, the enemies being kept back by ice. Xi Tan turned to the others, looking for the next move. There seemed to be a despute as whether to stay or to flee, with the odds greatly in the enemis favour. The little one named Yori seemed to be most affected, not just because of a want to fight, but to protect her home. The conflict seemed to be resolved, with her, although a little reluctantly to leave.
As this seemed to be going, Xi Tan heard the noises or the water subsiding and the machines and warriors recovering. A few were already on there feet, moving towards them. Xi Tan lifted his leg back, and swung it down into the earth, launching a barrage of small stones at the oncoming forces. He turned back to the others. "Can I make a suggestion, little ones? If we're going to leave, i suggest we do it now, 'cause it seems those guys are mad." He pointed back at the enemies.

(No clue. Ask the others? :( Sorry.)

Zaru, giving up for the moment, decided to meditate.

"Very well. Let me know when the need to fight comes upon us again."

He sat cross-legged, his arms resting upon his ankles, as he tried to think. What could he, a Firebending martial artist, do to help these girls? Little? Or perhaps alot. He would just have to wait and see. Until then, the cry of justice was going to alert him to the people in need, out in the rest of the world. And here he was, waiting for it, by sitting patiently, with his eyes shut, and senses open...
