With a sigh, Nicholas moved his hands downward, head falling forward and eyes closing, small beads of sweat on his brow. In front of him lay a completely destroyed dummy, torn to shreds by his kicks, jabs, punches, and scratches. The man had been up since before the sun had risen just to practice, like he did every morning. "Thank you for this day." He muttered, bowing slightly and smiling as he turned. Currently, he wore his black dojo uniform, red patches on each shoulder blade. The red-winged black bird. That was his fighting name. Quick, clever, and strong. With another smile, his eyes turned to the sky, just as a roll of thunder sounded. Sure, he liked storms, but didn't really want to be in one!
The man hurried towards the castle doors from his training grounds in the garden. But, sadly, the downpour began before he could make it, speckling his suit with darker spots. Nicholas made his way back up stairs and towards his room. Maybe he would have time to take another shower before the others awoke. However, as he made his way back to his room, someone bumped into his chest. "Oh, good morning, Princess!" He smiled softly, grabbing her elbows to steady her. A few spots of rain dropped from his bangs, splattering on the stone floor. "In a hurry?"
