Fears:
Okay, let’s get something out of the way; Felix is a pretty big coward, so this list is pretty damn long.
Fear of Insects - Things that are small enough to get into places he doesn’t want them, bite or sting whatever they feel like, have multiple eyes and feet, and look like aliens from the old T.V shows he watched. What isn’t for Felix to fear?
Fear of Confrontation and Violence - Any forms of confrontation Felix sees as a threat to his frail personality. Instead of getting mad, he gets scared really quickly. Confrontation leads to him undermining his already pathetic self confidence, and violence is something he is strongly against. Not that he would be able to squeak that out.
Fear of Arachnids - Not technically an insect, so it gets its own column, which is pretty standard: things with 8 legs freak him out.
Fear of Reptiles - The only exception to this rule is turtles, mostly because they are adorably slow and can’t attack him. Well, a few can, but don’t tell him that. Reptiles are simply freaky in his eyes.
Dreams:
To NOT fear so much stuff - For a kid so timid, this seems like a far-fetched dream, but one that Felix desperately clings to. He wants to be strong like his parents, to
Secrets:
The Snake Charmer - Felix, contrary to popular belief, is actually not a virgin. Shocking seeing how quiet he is, but he isn't. He first slept with a girl when he started grade 9, when that hidden charm kicked in by accident and got her swooning. He doesn't like talking about how she stalked him for a few months, as nobody really knows about it.
The Inability to Read - Felix can't entirely read English all that well. Sure, it was taught to him by the finest of tutors, but he never truly got it. Too many exceptions and confusing conjunctions.
Personality: Poor Felix, the kid afraid of practically everything mundane and physical. Oh well, let's dig right in!
Felix, at his core, is a very coddled, protected and well-mannered child. He learned proper etiquette at a young age, so his mannerisms towards other people may seem a little off: not many expect to be called 'my lady' any more. However, the only reason he speaks in such an odd way is simply because of how sheltered he is. Human interaction in what's considered the normal way eludes him constantly due to his upbringing, so it isn't uncommon for him to be falling for a joke only young children would get. He doesn't entirely understand what true work really is, likes to think that everybody he meets has the best intentions, and hopes for a better future.
As you may have guessed, hitting reality caused an innocent and naive man to instantly change into a timid, shy being. Instead of becoming cynical and protected like others, he was still in the wake of being watched over by others, so he became shy. He couldn't escape being doted over and sheltered in the real world, it only toned down a little. So Felix closed himself off from interactions with others, fearing that they may hurt or judge him in any way, and instead becoming a highly timid and easily frightened individual.
Do not, however, believe him to be useless and weak just because of his extremely shy attitude. To anyone that has ever seen him act, been a coworker or a close friend, they could all testify that Felix is an extremely passionate man. He puts his heart and soul into every action he ever does, regardless of the outcome. Off of the stage, he is quite the character to those that know him, being a gullible goofball: when your humor knows no bounds, everything can be funny, which is exactly the case for Felix. He doesn't understand the different maturities of humor, and would be likely to die of laughter at a pun.
Now, Felix does have an underlying charm to him that one would think is natural for all Frenchmen; thing is, Felix hasn't a clue what it is or how to even identify it. It is as simple as his selfless acts to hold open the door for everybody, compliment others on a whim, or flatter a stranger simply because he wants to. However, due to his ignorance Felix has gotten into trouble with his underlying charm, which he wouldn't have even understood how he got into it: what makes it worse is that Felix probably will never be able to even identify his gifts of speech, let alone master it.
Make no mistake, however, as soon as something spooks him, le petit garcon will flee into the night like his life was on the line. Felix doesn't understand fight or flight, only the flight. So while he does have a cutesy, goofy side to him, many are hard pressed just to get passed his timid barrier.
History:
There once lived a famous french actor by the name of Marcel De Sauveterre and his significant other at the time, Adelaide de Noire. They were both high paid, seriously sought after in many countries for their God given talent to wow almost any theatre. Well, that was until Adelaide discovered she was expecting a child, and the people went nuts. Marcel at first didn't even think it was his, but after a few days released a statement that they would be expecting the child together (guess they counted back how many months she was along and found the time that they... well, nevermind). The fans of the two were a little adamant about the relationship, as the fans of Marcel thought he should be with somebody else by now, while the angry fans of Adelaide thought she would ruin her gorgeous figure with a child.
So, enter the adorable Félix Leander De Sauveterre. The little baby seemed to put all the people that actually cared mind's at ease in his cuteness. As he grew up, however, their attention of the little babe never seemed to cease. Felix grew up in a world constantly supervised by others: be it his parents, his body guards or the paparazzi, it didn't matter. Everything Felix did - his first words, his first time riding a bike, even his first time using the big kid toilet - was documented by somebody. The scariest part was that his parents thought this to be natural for a while until they realized that their child was starting to mooch off of their own followings. It certainly didn't help that when he was 7, he was kidnapped by a stalker fan while on his way to school, somehow sliding past the security. Felix was recoverd within a few hours, but it was the scariest few hours of his life.
With the entire family fed up, the three stars left Paris for a quieter location: America. Not the smartest choice, as obviously their problems followed somewhat. However, Felix's problem's lessened. During this stage of America, child stars weren't at the height that they are at today, so Felix was able to escape a lot of the paparazzi's attention as they focused more on his parents and their struggling relationship. So, to start his new life, Felix went to school and tried to be as normal as possible with the other students, as the school he went to didn't seem to care much about him - again, more about his parents. After 5 years, Felix basically faded from existance, being dubbed 'The Most Boring Child Star in the World' since he would just go to school, do work, and go home to hide.
Felix's timid nature, however, never changed. He only made a few friends through acting due to his inability to go and talk to others with confidence. His life was basically sucky: well, sort of.

So now, Felix has moved out of his parent's house into New York City at the call of a strange lady, who was hoping to help him escape the newfound publicity that he had suddenly gotten from getting into an acting gig. He hopes to get onto Broadway, but who knows what could happen?
