Introduction

At our height, we had achieved the impossible: to blend machine with the arcane, to puncture beyond the veil of the known and draw from its limitless potential. The great Adrichal Obelisks were built across the world, harnessing power to supply cities, eldritch energies were bound into weapons as well as tools. It seemed like there was nothing we mortals could not accomplish, we had gone beyond all boundaries that once shackled us. We were masters of our own fate.

It was too good to be without a price.

As they say, "if you look into the void, something is bound to stare back." The skies distorted, a green hue replacing the bright blue, storms erupted and then that something emerged. His name was Lehechalesh, a being with many appendages and a hollow stare, possessing horrifying power that we had never before witnessed. We stood no chance, and were swiftly overtaken by the tyrant from another world. He ruled with an iron fist, unmoved by our plights, saying we were stupid creatures incapable of understanding the price of our insolence, that he knew what was best for us.

From beyond his gaze, we worked underground, once again binding magic and technology, training, with the intent to retake our world. Years of preparation, and we finally made our assault, many fell, or were driven mad by the twisted nature of the power, and in the end only the greatest of us were left standing against Lehechalesh himself. After a lengthy struggle that seemed hopeless, a decisive blow was struck and the once great titan fell with one final warning with a sickly laugh.

"How interesting, are you truly ready to hold your world as your own, to face the scavengers who will soon seek to pick at my corpse? Keep your freedom, if you can, for everyone has a price."

It soon became clear, whatever other things resided beyond the void was kept away due to Lehechalesh, and lesser beings began to emerge, after the power of the wounded tyrant leaving him to be quarantined in an effort to deter them. Worse was the discovery that the obelisks could not be shut down.

The surviving heroes had no choice but to train a new generation of defenders, the Knighthood of the Adrichal Protectorate, or KAP for short. While standard guard exists, these are the elite who are to stand against special cases should another like Lehechalesh emerge. Most countries have adopted this, with the exception of Kaymbden who have taken part in ethically dubious and extreme measures of augmenting select citizens, sometimes to the point of no longer being recognizably human.

This is a fantasy roleplay taking place in an alternate future with magic and technology existing simultaneously. Think somewhat akin to Final Fantasy in some sense for some sense of reference. Playing a human isn't necessary at all, nor is humanoid, and mutants and the like most certainly do exist.

1. Play nice with others and communicate well.
2. Try to be a bit original, as in try not to directly copy other franchises and such. Inspirations are perfectly fine though!
3. No godmodding, as in, don't try to make someone absolutely perfect for every occasion, try to balance things regardless of what you play. Not saying you can't be very strong, though, going to rather need to be regardless of which side of the field you are on.
4. Have fun. :)

5. Due to lengthy inactivity, characters of inactive users will be issued free status and can be controlled as long as respects are paid to the original user's interpretation. I understand that it is impossible to completely do so, but measures must be made to prevent premature death of the RP.

Dawn came, heralded in by the crescendo of boots as men scrambled into the facility from a successful skirmish. Even as a success it was not one with cheer and confetti, but of tired and wounded men who have not had a moment to truly recuperate. Their faces are grim as they carry their comrades that cannot walk, bloodied and beaten, slumped onto stretchers at worst, and over shoulders at best. It was not a high risk target, however, not enough to summon the specialized Knights into battle, but it was yet another in a recent influx of small scale creatures punching through the veil that had been going on for nearly a month now without abating. By attrition, there was no other choice than to escalate the alert and call for reinforcements.

As the men rush their comrades to the infirmary the few in back turn to see something approaching along the road. Readying their weapons for another attack, gunners aiming in on the object as beads of sweat tricked down their brows, but as it got closer they were instead greeted with the silhouette of a large vehicle. There was a wash of relief, someone has answered their plea for help. This relief was temporary as the gunner got a better view of the vehicle.

"Damn it," the man utters, gripping his finger across the trigger once more before a fellow officer pushes him away to glance down the scope. Down it he made out what was a massive, heavily armored carrier, looking like a kind of treaded truck on steroids. This was not the upsetting factor, however, the emblem on the side was one that causes apprehension.

"Kaymbdenites," the officer mutters, observing a white flag grafted to the back of the mirror. "Why did it have to be Kaymbdenites?"

It was no mystery why the men became so tense at the sight of this, before the invasion there had been a war with the Kaymbden people over nothing more than xenophobic warmongering and paranoia, and heavy handed attempts to extend their borders. The only reason they would be coming now is because they see no other choice. It was not like KAP had much a choice either, and reluctantly they opened the gate for them. At least there was no chance this single vehicle would be enough to overtake the entire facility anyways... hopefully.

As the vehicle backed up at entrance, revealing the hatch of the container, the gunners stand ready.

"Alright, slowly now, hands up and no weapons," a soldier warns. Slowly two Kaymbdenite officers exit the vehicle, one a woman with ash gray hair, the other a man, shorter, with black hair. Both wore tinted protective goggles and gray suits, their skin pale and grayish. Kaymbdenites are humans, but they had warped their lands over many years of frenzied experimentation that the atmosphere had become unlike any other on the world, and their bodies were hardened and slighly twisted from it in order to survive coming at the cost of the majority being incapable of using magic yet needing a kind of concentrate of it to survive. Their eyes can no longer see sunlight, nor can their skin handle it. Some had come to call them mole men as derogatory, or vampires by the more superstitious.

"Come to help and get guns at head instead, not unexpected," the male Kaymbdenite says in a thick Slavic-like accent, his tone more than a little disgruntled.

"Last help your people tried to give, was into the afterlife," a soldier cries out before being hushed by his superior.

"Times were different, we have a common foe now, so enemy of our enemy, yes," the woman says with an equally thick accent, the male now lowering his arms heads over to open the back of the truck. "We come with result from years of development."

With this the soldiers back away as the hatch opens, coming down into a ramp. From inside a large creature emerges calmly. The shocks of the truck groan with relief as the beast exits, its weight lifted off from them. Men gasp in horror as the thing towers above them upon its hind legs, looking down with haunting blue eyes.

"The hell is that thing," an officer yells out.

"Viktoriya," the Kaybdenite man responds as he closes the hatch. "She shall be your reinforcement, all the soldier you shall ever need."

"She," a soldier responds in disbelief, his face twisting in anger, his eyes twitching anxiously. "This is no soldier, this is some twisted soul you made in your labs! To call a thing like this a soldier, we may as well take that... thing downstairs and call it a Knight!"

"There is a difference, my friend, is honor and discipline, both Viktoriya understands very well," he says, as Viktoriya growls at the soldier, eyes flaring and teeth baring. "If it were for neither, she'd have reduced you to a rather unfortunate mess by now for threatening me. Good thing, that."

With this the color in the man's face drains as Viktoriya looms over him. The Kaymbdenite woman walks over handing over a series of instructions and a remote device then heads into the facility along with the male Kaymbdenite officer. There was a smug look to him as he passed the soldier. Afterwards Viktoriya follows, crushing a training dummy as it passes with just her tail.

There was a very reluctant acceptance from the facility, but there was very little choice at this point, after all. The two Kaymbdenite officers would act as ambassadors and receive immunity as such in Abgrundstadt, and in turn they allowed KAP to utilize their Anti-Outsider weapon, Viktoriya.

As Dawn arrived, So came the injured for the day. The battered and beaten lay on stretchers, for the best cases they were on another's shoulder. Another skirmish, another victory at a cost. This was becoming the norm these days, for a month now a influx of creatures kept coming and nothing that warranted the KAP.

With a heavy sight, a woman with long grey hair dressed in a dress covered with plate gave a quick salute to the passing wounded for their service. A small token, but nothing to ease their pain or weary minds. The woman soon made her way to a training feild, many dummies stood straight up. It seemed empty today.

With a small second of contetration, the woman's hand was soon covered in a purple haze, her gloved hand channeling arcane magic. She soon raised her hand and then formed a purple ball of magic before launching it at one of the dummies. It exploded with a gratifying hail of straw and wood. "A bit too much magic..." the woman commented on the explosion.

It seemed that her magic was still in shape, however came the more important test. Unsheathing her sword, she raised her long sword in a gaungleted hand and rushed forward. Her sword glowed with arcane energy and it began to give off a purple glow. With a leap, she swung her sword at the dummy aimed for the head. A clean decapitation, and at the end she landed squarely on her feet and skid to a halt.

Magic check, weapon skills check. Her training had been going well, or at least she was keeping in shape. "Excuse me ma'm." A voice called out to her. One of the soldiers, armed with some sort of rifle. "We have recived reinforcents at dawn...it's...Kaymbdenite...allies." The soldier reluctantly spoke. Apparently many people had low opinions of them. "So it seems, additional forces are needed in this situation. The many wounded that comes back is another not fighting on the front. They may seem unorthodox but that is how they fight. Using experiments." The woman spoke as she made her way over to the facility.

Another day. It was the single thought running across Victor's mind. It seemed they had done another operation, Their brave little pieces rushing out of the box fort. Fending off the ever encrouching darkness. Returning just as scarred as always. It seemed that only the veterans was capable to run missions without injuries nowadays.

Victor dragged his body throughout the halls his armor clanking haphazardly against the floor and itself. His sword secured by his side and his shield on his back. He had been forbidden to draw his sword inside the base, And the guards which was specifically following him around would attempt to kill him if he even made a move for it. Of course they were nowhere to be seen. They thought he didn't know of them. But the voices tells him lots of things. Mostly it's spurring him to gut them, They see you, They will kill you! Now, now! Quickly, End them! But those are quite usual and easily ignored.

Making his way through the newly arrived, He was trying to avoid contact with them just as much as they avoided him. He noticed the Angel. She truly seemed to make Victor's exact opposite. What could only be called a brilliant light following her. She was heading to the training area She's terrible isn't she? You should just slay her. The voices was ignored, They were making no real attempt to sieze him, Just reminding the fact: That we're always here.

For no particular reason Victor followed her to the training area. Watching her as magic powers bursted throghout her, Destroying the dummies. That's nothing, We are strong, We could annihilate her here! Let's do it! Let's do it! Victor grew more irritated, They seemed much more active today. Holding that thought one of the soldiers suddenly rushed towards her. He was way too far away to hear the conversation, It was probably some mission. That's it! Monsters are here! Big mean ones, The puppet told her, We should go and see them! Yes, Let's! "Monsters"? Victor questioned for a moment what they were saying, were they being attacked? We heard us! GO!

Victor's red glowing eyes suddenly increased in intensity, as his entire body made an erratic step back into the halls. Move! They will get us! A sudden hissing sound echoed through his head, They were suddenly buzzing inside him. Pain spreading through him. And before Victor even knew it he was by the very entrance again. He had moved at an unnatural speed. Seemingly outrunning his guards. Regaining his mind he focused on the one thing directly infront of him, and that thing immediately silencing the voices. A large well, monster moving through the halls. Victor's red glowing pupils widening, Drilling their way through the beast. The very aura around it seemed to soothe yet distress him.

Johnathan, or John, as he'd rather be called, drew his small Double Barrel and fired twice, both shots hitting one of the targets in front of him. He was practicing of course for his next mission, while he had been serving at the KAP for quite some time most of the veterans saw him as inexperienced still. He always wanted to prove them wrong, popping open the fire arm and reloading then firing off again as he drew his sword, hacking one of the targets in half. He was doing a small training course he'd set up, moving targets and dummies around so that he could practice better, switching between weapons. He tossed his weapon into one target as he reloaded and shot another, he was doing well today, better than he usually did, though out on the field was a different story.

The various training targets and dummies lay in disarray, hacked apart by his blade or shot apart by his Double Barrel, he smirked slightly as he looked at the carnage he had inflicted, and then begin to set up his course again, clearing out those dummies which did not survive. He'd learned of some new strange reinforcement that had come in... a creature of some kind if he remembered correctly, but he wasn't bothered by the news, more encouraged by it. He'd seen plenty bizarre things when he was sent on a mission, often those bizarre things would wound him more than he could wound them, but he kept trying. As he finished setting up the course his attention was caught by the wounded being brought in, those unfortunate enough to have been sent out and had things go wrong... He turned his attention away from them and got back to his training.

He drew his pistol, shoot, the sound of steel hissing from a scabbard, slice, his memories of when he'd originally joined the KAP came flooding back to him, shoot, slice. He'd lost his parents to one of the things out there... to some kind of being that had shown no mercy, he'd never forget what had happened, not that his mind would let him... reload. He had nightmares of course that haunted him, even nightmares of what he'd done himself, seeing the light of life fade from the eyes of any living thing was horrible, no matter...shoot... what it was. The course lay destroyed again, and he prepared for another round.

As dawn peeked over the horizon, Alexei hurried through the door into the base, carrying the back half of a stretcher. His own muscles were aching and after carrying stretchers and bodies and scrambling over the ground, his palms were raw and oozing. He looked at the soldier on the stretcher, looking at the contours of her muscles. If only he were that fit, then maybe he'd be having an easier time. Oh well: he had his own skills, and maybe sometimes they seemed to be that of a mediocre stretcher-bearer, but they were skills nonetheless. He raised his dark eyes, taking in the number of people around him. There were so many wounded. They may need him in the infirmary as well today, just to give the doctors in there a break. He closed his eyes for a moment and felt the beginnings of a headache behind his brow bone. If a monster didn't kill him, it'd be exhaustion.
Once inside the infirmary, Alexei and his partner carefully transferred the wounded woman onto a bed. He watched her for a moment, then sighed and turned to tend to his own injuries. He was lucky: the worst he got was a cut on his leg, but it wasn't too deep and if he took care of it, it wouldn't become infected.
Spurred by a rumbling stomach, he left the infirmary and wandered down the halls, deciding that he might as well grab a bite to eat before worrying about his next shift. But as he walked, he heard a group talking. Something about newcomers and a monster? He slipped into the crowd and followed them to the entrance.
"Oh my God!" He looked over the heads and shoulders of the people in front of him at Viktoriya. For a moment, he thought it might have been a creature from outside that had somehow gotten in, but he realized quickly enough that he was incorrect. So it wasn't a monster, it was one of those Kaymbdenite experiments: although the difference was perhaps just semantics. "That poor soul," he said, leaning over to Valoel. "It seems inappropriate to let the Kaybdenites bring them. But oh well, it isn't up to me to make the decisions."

"They open our world to invasion, and they dare give us this... der'mo, eh," the Kaymbdenite man grumbles to his comrade loudly, not caring to keep it to himself. Viktoriya quietly follows behind them with her head down, not interested in the slightest. In her head, memories are like a chaotic symphony composed of the songs of each being that makes up her entirety. To avoid getting swept in the madness, she instead turned attention to everything else, ears fanning out. Everything has a song to her, a sound, a tone, she could hear them all around, panic from the wounded, anger and fear from the soldiers around watching. Then... something different... she freezes, raising her head some she turns to the source of a strange sensation.

"Ugroza," a guttural voice emerges from Viktoriya's throat, looking at the source of her disturbance. The two Kaymbdenites freeze in place, first looking at her, then in the direction she was looking. It appeared to be a man in armor, but it was uncertain if within it could be called a man.

"A threat," the woman asks, reacting in puzzlement to her behavior. "It is only one of them knights."

"Perhaps you are confused," the man chimes in. "They do have one of those creatures downstairs, perhaps causing interference, eh?"

Regardless of the comments by her peers, she continued to stare back at Victor, her eyes flared.

Valoel looks at their newest ally joining their ranks, she had heard of the Kaymbdenites of course. She would have not held her position if she was either not knowledgeable or skilled. What was in front of them was a beast, but everyone knew...that used to be human like them all. Occupied with her thoughts, a voice spoke to her. Turning to face the source, she saw a man. He appeared to be one of the medics. "Indeed. Some people prize victory and efficiency over all else. Not the morality or humanity. However this is a fight for survival, all help is appreciated even if the methods are...hard to bear for most." She replied before turning to face a person who appeared to be a knight.

He stared at the creature, and his own presence was known to her. All personal files go to her as well, she would be working with him. Victor, victim of an enemy attack and not much known afterwards. No ones knows if he truly died there, or was experimented on. However one thing was for certain, right now it appeared he recognised the experiment as the enemy. "Victor, stand down. As a commanding officer I order you to cease for now. That is our allies, not the enemy." Valoel spoke as she walked forward to the Center of the crowd where personal were surrounding this little spectacle of a morally questionable creature. "If you have time to stand about staring then get back to work! We are still in a war, there is no time to stare! A minute wasted standing around is another minute you neglect your duties! Now dismiss unless you care to volenteer for frontline duty!" She raised her voice and slammed her foot on the floor. She would make good on the threat if someone really wanted to test her.

"Fellow Kaymbdenites, please refrain from any needless comments. Everyone is still on edge so exercise some caution. However, welcome to the facility. As for all KAP knights gather around! We head to the training yard for briefing! I will not tolerate any lateness." Valoel spoke as she stood at attention.

The people were buzzing around him. Victor realized first now that there were more people here than just him and the monster. A large amount of staff, The Angel and what looked like caretakers for the monster was also here. But he could barely even hear what they said, their words was distant for him. This usually only occurs when the voices become too loud but, they were completely silent. Victor could only feel the slight bubbling sensation from them, they seemed to have retreated back deep inside him. He hadn't experienced this in months.

Taking in the scene again, it appeared that the Angel was attempting to disperse the crowd, she also directly talking to him, but her voice was nothing more than a whisper in the back of his head. More importantly was the monster, her deep blue eyes was staring directly at him. The haunting stare seemed to make the voices buzz. Twisting and bending their way inside him, yet they did not dare to properly surface, and in all honesty, it was rather soothing. Victor simply stared back, The glow from his eyes intensifying for the duration.

The Angel suddenly slammed her foot down, making the hesitant crowd finally starting to move. She then turned her back to him, conversing with the caretakers. It appeared she was trying to usher them somewhere.

Looking away from the Angel back to the blue eyes Victor took a few long strides, brushing right past her. Approaching them, the caretakers would definitely not allow him to, they seemed pretty paranoid already. As he walked forward they would undoubtedly stop him. So he stopped just a few steps in front of them, taking in the monster. A few seconds of silence followed from Victor. One would think that he was just trying to be intimidating, but Victor was trying to form a sentence. His throat desperately trying to form words. Anyone of the guards or staff nearby who knew of Victor quickly grew anxious. Never, in his time here had they heard him utter a single word, and the voice that escaped him was, broken. Like he was trying to squeeze them through a broken pipe.

...Ah...
C-can you... Feel them, Writhe within me?
Can you, See what I am?
Can you hear what they are?

His words were clearly directed towards Viktoriya, but suddenly. Emotions flurried within Victor, he was unsure what he was feeling. Was it regret about the words he had said. Did he want to speak more or- No no! We are gonna kill us! Stop, STOP! His thoughts were immediately cut off the voices were overflowing. All screaming in different tones, some simply speaking gibberish. Victor was used to this, but he definitely couldn't attempt to try and force sentences while dealing with it. Victor stepped back, Seemingly attempting to retreat back behind Valoel. His body twitching in a distressing manner.

Alexei sighed. He wasn't afraid of being sent out to the front: it wouldn't be out of the ordinary and besides, he was on break for half an hour to get breakfast and take care of anything else he needed to. Instead, he began to head off looking for anything to sit on. After a few steps, he paused near the wall to search through the pockets on his belt. He pulled out a bottle of pills and swallowed two. They would serve as a replacement for food (Alexei had no appetite and no motivation to eat besides) and would give him enough energy to finish his shift and get back to the barracks before he collapsed. Standard equipment for medics. As an extra pick-me-up, he pulled a flask out of the inside of his coat and took a sip of the drink inside. It was mainly watered down vinegar with any sweetener available and ginger, if he could get it. An acquired taste, to be sure. He was about to continue on again when he heard a strange broken voice.
Alexei turned and stared as Victor finished his sentence and stepped back, at least it seemed to the medic, in great distress. He had seen Victor around, heard stories from other medics, but had not once heard of anything like that. With slow, measured steps, he moved back toward the scene.
"Is everything alright?" He stood at a distance. Intervening seemed like a dreadful idea quite yet, after all, if Victor wanted to hurt or kill him, it wouldn't be too difficult, but he was standing by just in case. He looked from person to person, trying to figure out what had agitated Victor. His dark eyes rested on Viktoriya. She seemed like a probable cause. She'd unsettle most people and who knows what went on inside that knight's head? He only hoped that they could diffuse the situation before it got out of hand.

((I'm dreadfully sorry that I keep posting in the wrong place. I'm still getting used to the interface. Please forgive me.))

Another day, and Aurel yet again proved useful for carrying the fallen from the battlefield. She could easily carry two men, and did so with a careful elegance as the wounded rested against the plate on her shoulders. She waddled more than walked back home, so scared to make their wounds worse if she walked at a natural pace. The battle had not been one of the most demanding, but the creatures in question swarmed people easily and even the most talented of knights would have trouble fighting twenty that suddenly grew to a hundred.

Aurel bent down as she reached the door of the infirmary and got help delivering the her colleagues to the medics. Another medic appeared, looked up her up and down and pointed to a nearby bed. She shook her head, and gestured to the door, but he would not hear of it, and insisted she needed to be checked too. "Your legs are shaking," he said. "Sit down."

She hadn't noticed, but did what he asked. He promised to be with her in a second, and vanished into the minor chaos of the infirmary. It was around this time a commotion seemed to be starting outside. She heard Valoel's voice giving an order, and the sound of disgruntled soldiers dispersing. Curiosity peaked, she forgot all about her check-up and wandered outside, just in time to see Victor approaching a gigantic, awful-looking creature. Her hand flew to her hilt in an instant before she realised the creature seemed, in a manner of speaking, to be harmless. Then Victor spoke, and Aurel realised that in all her time with the Adrichal Protectorate, she had never once heard his voice.

For now, things were still calm. Aurel stepped forth, keeping a close eye on Victor as she waited for people to react. Her hand still rested on the hilt of her sword.

"To heart, then," the Kaymbdenite man says in response to Valoel pounding his right fist to his chest, the woman following soon after. They do not want to stir up unnecessary trouble with the chain of command, this is for certain. "We relieve command of Viktoriya unto you."

There is a moment of silence as Viktoriya stood unmoving, with a gaze unbroken from Victor, making her handlers increasingly nervous as they turn to look at her. It is not that they think her behavior is part of some defect, but rather that she is reacting to something in this man that would impair her effectiveness in the field. It also makes it seem like they have no control over her, or she over herself, and this was unacceptable.

"She is simply studying her allies," the woman finally says, straight faced despite her uncertainty. It is true that Viktoriya does study the signature of others in order to fully detail them apart in battle. With some relief to the two she finally lowers her head breaking eye contact, only to hear her utter something.

"Noise," is the word that emerges from the beast's throat, met with confusion by her handlers but they are not the ones meant to hear it for a change. She then finally looks over to her handlers, ears drawing back.

"If you are finished, then you accompany her to the training yard," the man says, gesturing to Valoel. As he does so, Viktoriya's focus changes also, meeting eyes with Valoel, and her ears fan out again to study her signature. "You will listen to her, understood?"

"Da," the beast mutters breathily, glancing over to him. Switching focus back, she takes a breath and steps over to her new commander making some of the soldiers nervous with how close she was getting. She raises her front right claw and too pounds her fist against her chest, the Kaymbdenite equivalent to a salute. "Vik...toriya."

"Valoel, good to work with you Viktoryia. Thank you fellow Kambdenites, I appreciate that you shall remain on good behaviour." The commanding woman slammed her feet together and gave a salute to the trio. Of course, she had saw the whole scene with Victor and his...not so sane talk. She decide do to ignore that, it was understandable that he was not in the best of minds but as long as no problems arise then that is all she could ask for.

Valoel nodded to herself as she turned to face Victor. Who had hidden behind her and was violently twitching. She was certain words of comfort were not going to help the poor sod, his mind was a mess. For all she knew he had voices in his head. "Greeting knight, I trust we won't have any problems in the future regarding your...state of mind. However, next time stand at attention and salute your commanding officers." She spoke while giving him a salute.

Her attention soon turned to Alexi, the man spoke up about the situation and if it was ok. She turned with a sigh. "Well, from the looks of it he is currently not fine. I appreciate your concern for the men doctor...but when you see a commanding officer...please stand at attention and salute before asking your question." She warned again, and gave a salute.

Finally...another figure arrived. At first Valoel thought it was yet another Kambdenite experiment. She was tall, had long arms and covered with armor. Of course...It could have been just a very tall person. That is not a common sight but she should not jump to conclusions. However yet another person, straight up forgets to salute the commanding officer. Did these people learn basic discipline!? Valoel shook her head in annoyance. "Greetings...You must be another knight...thank you for coming, however! This is the third time that no one salutes their commanding officer! Or even acknolage them! We have discipline for a reason! I am quite disappointed with most of you, Viktoryia here can salute the commanding officer. I should expect you all to do the same! When we arrive to the training feild, you all get an extra 15 sets of running laps, 30 extra basic stretching exercises! And you are all on latrine duty after this! I know you may be skilled, however if one does not even know the basics! Then I see failures! Double time it people! You have 30 seconds to get to the training yard! If any one of you are late, then I will double your current schedule...If another one is late...I will triple it...and so on...Your time starts now!" Valoel crossed her arms and slammed her boot on the ground.

These were the people to would help save mankind...so far she had a bad first impression of the lot of them. She was going to whip these lot into shape. She did not care where they all come from or who they were before, they were now all KAP knights. The elite fighting force, so far these knights lacked any sense of discipline, or well...any lack of common decency! She had pale skin, that does not mean she was invisible!

Victor slowly shook his head. The voices had quieted down to their usual sputtering. They seemed annoyingly satisfied with the reaction they caused. Still shaking his head Victor took a quick glance towards the monster her name apparently being Viktoriya. Only to be answered by a painful screech from one of the voices. Forcing Victor's gaze back down onto the metal floor. He was only given a moment before Valoel directly adressed him.

Her words tore into him, like they usually do. He hated when they talked about him being crazy. A small sprout of anger grew withing him, That sprout only getting stronger as the voices fanned it. Don't let her talk like that, We'll make sure she'll never utter another syllable! Just cut her tongue out! But still, if Victor allowed himself to give in for weak suggestions like that then he would never be here in the first place. He stormed off the moment Valoel finished her sentence directed towards him, If he were to continue listening to her then he might just go crazy for real.

Victor rushed onto the training field, rising his right arm aiming it directly towards the first training dummy. With a cacophonous crash Victor smashed the head and upper part of the torso sending them careening off onto the field. He stopped immediately, lowering his head to inspect his right hand. He had put way too much into that, and he could feel how the demons inside him enjoyed it.

He pressed his right hand against his chest, doing one slow exhaule. That's it, calm, calm...

He gently started to lean onto one of the dummies, still doing slow inhales and exhales. He wondered for a moment how this all will end. The Angel certainly seemed to have some kind of assignment for them. Along with some kind of training to prepare for it. He really hoped she wouldn't do the usual military drills, those always ended bad for him.

"With all due respect," Aurel watched Valoel closely for a moment, before she continued. "I was responding to a situation I assumed to be threatening. You'll forgive me if my first thought wasn't to leave myself vulnerable by taking time to salute you."

Having thus spoken her mind, she glanced in the direction Victor had run off to. Had Aurel had a face, it might have displayed a worry. That was certainly what she felt as the knight stormed off towards the training field.

Having spent the entirety of her life as a mercenary, Aurel had a strange opinion of how authority worked. For the most part, she was willing to take orders, but she had never had a superior in the military sense before she joined the Knighthood and so, still, sometimes spoke too freely. She had not worked with Valoel before, but as the girl gave her orders she couldn't help but to shrug. So young, Aurel noted. She wondered how someone came upon a life like this at such an age, but then, her life back then had been quite similar. It was the unfortunate state of the world, no doubt.

She walked to the training ground at a rather leisurely pace, having no need to rush when the length of her legs could carry her faster than most others could run. She arrived, finding Victor by the dummies, taking slow, but heavy breaths. She felt as though she ought to say something, reassure him in a sense, as she sat down on the railing (it creaked a little beneath her weight– though her legs were gangly, there were a lot of them).

"I don't think I've heard you speak before," she said at length. "It's okay, you know. To speak."

Having said that, she wasn't sure what else to add. She already felt as though she was breaching a subject that made him uncomfortable, she wasn't about to push him into speaking again. Thusly, unless Victor wished to respond in some manner, she waited for the rest to arrive.

Alexei was distracted for a moment by the appearance of the tall woman. Aurel, was her name? He had seen her help to bring in the wounded earlier. She seemed like a decent woman, though he had wondered before whether or not she was actually a woman. As he was taking in her appearance, he noticed the wounds on her legs and frowned. It only made sense, he supposed. There was a lot of leg to hurt.
Valoel's voice reached him, removing him from the rabbit hole of his thoughts. He turned back to her. "Ah, yes, my apologies, Ma'am," Alexei said, saluting to make up for it. He would smile, but he felt like that would bother Valoel more. He didn't see much of her, but she didn't seem to have much of a sense of humor. Oh well, there were others who did. Aurel, however, seemed to have no regard for the increasingly disgruntled superior. He gave her a look. She was just asking for trouble at this point. He was about to say something, maybe an apology on Aurel's behalf, maybe a warning for her to hold her tongue, but before he could, his watch beeped, reminding him that he did have somewhere to be later. He checked the time. Even if he hurried, he'd be making it to work just in time. "If you do excuse me," he said, backing away from the scene, "I should take my leave. Prior engagement with the wounded to keep." He quickly departed for the infirmary, not eager to continue the conversation. If these long hours were good for anything, they at least helped him avoid other people.

After her introduction, Viktoriya's eyes twitch between Valoel and the red eyed knight, apparently named Victor, and becomes more fixated as he seemed to become increasingly agitated. Eventually he takes off to where she assumed to be their next destination, his heavy steps and clanging armor loudly echoing through the halls as he does so. It is an impressive feat, no doubt, his strength has to be formidable, though his eyes told a story of things seen and felt that even a twisted creature as herself could only scratch the surface of.

Her attention is drawn back to Valoel as she verbally chastises them, and tasks them with penalties for their negligence. It all sounds light in her mind, however, far less excruciating than she was used to back in Kaymbden. The morale of the others seem shaky at best, including a strange woman who recently entered and the medic to leave shortly thereafter, likely to the same destination. Something chimes inside her skull, but it is not up to her to question regiment, hers is to follow orders, and thus she simply acknowledges silently with a nod and follows the path the knight left behind with his sabatons to what appears to be some large training area.

Ears twitch to follow each rhythm of the soldiers as they work to maintain themselves physically and mentally, this was at the least something familiar. Her attention turns back to the one in armor, Victor, leaning against a training dummy, the strange and very lanky woman nearby seemingly attempting to offer some comfort to him. The beast simply stares, debating to even attempt further communication, which clearly is a living weapon's weakest area of expertise. Still, a part of her is human, an aspect hard to completely suppress, and something resembling sympathy is the most prominent as she watches him agonizing to maintain composure.

Valoel watches as the others begin to head off to the training fields. She quietly shakes her head to herself. "I am sorry...I do not wish to appear like the worst person here. You all are going to dictate the future, so you all need to learn everything even if I have to force it on you...I do not want this to be...'That' battle once again." She spoke to herself before walking off to the training fields.

As Valoel arrived, she noticed that they had all gathered together just like she asked. However one figure caught here eye, another knight, wielding both sword and gun. Looks like one of them also had the idea to already train here. She walked over to the training knight and called out to him. "You there, I admire your initiative in training. Please meet with the other knights gathered around, I will be briefing you all on your first mission assignment. Then we will proceed with training." She told the gun knight before walking off to meet with the others who were gathered.

"My fellow knights, It is reassuring you all followed orders to meet here. However I will skip the pleasantries right now. I will be briefing you on your target..." Valoel started as she pulled a small device from a pouch hanging around her wait and then...nothing. She began to fiddle with the small hand held device, pressing random buttons, and flipping some small switches. At first it appeared that she knew what she was doing, however a good half minute later and it was clear...she was not a genius of technology.

A nearby training soldier, armed with a rifle spotted Valoel fumbling with the device and walked over to lend his aid. Instead of waiting for however long, the man quickly turned on the device and pointed out what to do the next time. With a parting salute, the man returned to his training. Valoel returned to face the Knights hiding a small bush of embaresment before coughing. She soon raised the device and a small display of a robed figure appeared.

"Anyways...Your target is one of the cultists hiding in the subway. His name is Errant Rook, he is noted to be a rather strong cult leader. We have word that he is trying to gather up a whole army right under our feets to attempt to lay siege on one of our forward bases to give our true enemy an edge. Your mission is simple, find the bastard and kill him. There will be no trial, no need for mercy, these guys are fixated on killing you or dying to please their new 'overlords'. We leave one hour after training is complete, and if anything new comes up I will let you all know." Valoel stood at attention and saluted the knights in front of her. "Now get to training everyone! We all have to be in shape and ready for battle!"

With the briefing complete, Valoel began to surprisingly run on the track. She was going to do the full course she was making the others do. She was showing them that their actions affected not only themselves, but everyone around them. Of course she was not certain they would learn from her joining on the exercises but at the very least, they knew she would also be breaking some sweat.

Victor diverted his gaze from his arm onto the tall woman approaching him, Viktoriya was close behind her but Victor didn't wish to look at her, he didn't want to unnecessarily aggravate the voices any more. The woman herself was, interesting. Her tall lanky posture made her seem almost inhuman, like small addition to the freak show. Yet her tone was soft and understanding. Another small sprout of anger rose in him. Not nearly as intense as the previous one, but he still felt a strong sense of disapproval upon hearing the pity in her voice. He didn't want to hear any pity.

She was ushering him to talk, She probably gained that notion from the sputtering he had done earlier "Monsters shouldn't speak, We know that, monsters who speak aren't monsters anymore, so we shouldn't." Their words had an annoyingly strong effect on Victor. He gave Aurel a long stare, His eyes glowing more intensely for the entire duration.

Until he finally turned his head towards Valoel. She fiddled forward a small apparatus. Taking a few moments clicking on it until it was suddenly apparent that she had no idea how it worked. Making the entire deadly atmosphere kinda redundant. She eventually got help from one of the nearby soldiers in which she then briefed them on their mission and continued proclaiming the apparant fact that they would go and "train"

Victor clenched his fist throwing his head back staring up at the roof. He needed to calm down, This day was still too much. Perhaps this cultist extermination would be a good way to take out his anger. But, perhaps his demons would only use that. He hanged his head back down, sighing deeply. Training?

He took a quick glance back down onto the sword which he was not allowed to draw. His hitmen would surely be back on him by now. They were somewhere, prepared to take him out if the situation called for it. The Angel herself had started jogging along the course, Victor spinned around on the spot, giving quick glances to all the different people in the room. Even a quick one towards Viktoriya, not triggering any specific response from the voices.

He walked towards the dummy directly next to Aurel, grabbing the head of it and with a suprising amount of tactical sense started to inspect it, if he was about to train then he might aswell do it in a way he knew how.

Inside the once pristine city of Abgrundstadt, underneath the surface a group of armed individuals ran across the underground subway. Behind them lay a patrol of soldiers, ambushed and eliminated with lethal effectivness. The smell of Sulfur filled the air, the hiss of something being lit. And right under a food storage building. "Yarharhar! Corporal, status report." A man spoke. He appeared old, a white bushy beard adorned his face, however the scars held a story behind them...he was far from just a simple old man. He wore a greatcoat from the old war, plate studdeded sections of the armor and a sword was adorned to his hip.

"Aye general! Explosive are planted, estimated time 'uv enemy soldiers arriving once 'dis goes off...five minutes. Ready to go when the fireworks start." A man replied, wearing a greatcoat as well. "Excellent! 'Dis be our objective. First we get some food, then we get some water. Anything else is fair game. Booze, extra gunpowder, silks...grab all you can carry..." The old man spoke, a big grin plastered on his face as he silently counted the seconds.

In a moment, an explosion shook the city, in that moment the whole city went on alert. A message sent right to the KAP headquarters as soldiers scrambled to the site of the explosion and other vital areas. The mission went as planned for these terrorists, the food store came crashing through from the ceiling, tall enough to be able to get to climb it to the surface. These men wore the unmistakable outfit of the cultists, large greatcoats...'The Devils Pirates' had struck again.

On the surface there were five men, no ordinary soldiers. Their body hidden by their clothing held the scars of battles long faught, as a pair of soldiers rounded the corner, they were met with a well disciplined firing line. Armed with rifles they rushed forward gunning the men down with ease before kicking down a door to a liquor store and shoving bottles in their coats and two bags they brought along.

In another section of the city, more explosions rocked the city. Handheld bombs were tossed at soldiers behind cover reducing them to bloody pieces or tearing bloody chunks off their body before being put down by the band of cultists which ran by. They bust into a gunpowder storage and began rolling barrels as their allies covered them.

For one pair in particular, they snuck into a clothing shop and began to fill bags full of silk and cloth before leaving the area. The soldiers did not defend this shop, for their attention was focused on primary locations. The armoury, the gunpowder storage, the other food storage buildings. Back underground, the bulk of the invading force began to haul of crates of food and barrels of water which would last months. Many of these men did not seem as experienced as the men who assaulted the city from above. "Just as planned lads...Yarharharhar! That'll teach 'dem damned KAP Dogs...We are The Devils Pirates 'Ye bastards! Hope 'ta do some business another day!" The man laughed as he placed a pipe in his mouth and began to smoke from it as he watched his men work efficiently.

It came to some small surprise to Viktoriya that she would be used on the field first to terminate a human, a subject at least that she is very well versed in. Gazing down at a training dummy, she starts to visualize field scenarios, the most efficient lethal strikes, and with drawn front claw she swiftly swings, etching in several clean deep cuts, particularly across the eyes, throat, chest, and stomach. She then quickly paces behind, striking from behind, etching in deep cuts at the nap of the neck, striking at the center of the back with a placed blow, a gash across the back of the legs.

She ceases her strikes and stares at the dummy, exhaling heavily. It is ineffective, hardly any real combat target would simply just stand still, unless they were amateurs, or caught completely off guard. That is right, she thinks. Visualizing another scenario, she crouches down and with great muscular power launches herself off from the ground up onto the wall causing the support beams inside to groan from her great weight as she pressed against it as she latches onto it, then she drops down, with a strike down the back of the target, splitting it down from head to tail bone. It was a most assuredly lethal strike from above.

Limited perception of the field is the greatest flaw of a human target, she thinks calculatingly, almost like a machine, observing her strikes. Her ears lift up as she hears something like a trash can being knocked over. She turns to see some soldiers stop training near the entrance to salute a messy-haired man that stumbles, who hurriedly salutes back.

The man was odd, at the least, he looked flushed as if he'd seen a ghost, and his eyes and long hair radiated some bluish light. He had the colors of a superior officer, but his behavior was much less formal than Valoel. He was Ezekiel, one of those that fought against Lehechalesh during the first war against the Outsiders. He is also one of the first and few to undergo the risky experimentation of bonding the arcane energy with a human body.

"Val, oh, ah, at ease guys," he says in a hurry, charging in looking around then stops as he catches sight of Viktoriya, or at least her feet. Unlike the soldiers he doesn't show the same fear or, but instead lets out an impressed whistle as he looks up. "Well, you're a big one, ain't ya? You're still human, right?"

He then turns to Victor who was engrossed in observing his target, then at Aurel, sizing up both these fully armored figures.

"Pretty nice gear there, soldiers, I'm impressed how you can move in it all," he says, grinning, then suddenly salutes like he had forgotten that was even a thing. "Name's Ezekiel, but you can just call me Zeke. Hey have you seen Valoe-"

He then catches sight of her running the track, and begins to run towards her.

"Hey, Val," he yells out as he huffs to keep from losing his breath. "It isn't true is it? Old man Rook, I mean, he was one of us, he wouldn't jus-"

He is suddenly cut off by a loud bang, followed by flickering lights and then the blare of sirens, causing him to freeze in place. Viktoriya also completely freezes in place, her neck raised and ears fanning completely out. Soon an officer rushes in and hands a paper over to Zeke who, after getting over a short moment of shock, reads it over quickly, then grits his teeth tightly.

"Damn it!"

Valoel quickly stops as her name was addressed. With a quick twirl she spots a fellow officer, he bore the colors but even then she has seen him around. "Sir Zeke." She replied with a quick salute. Before she could reply about Rook, a sudden explosion sounded in the distance.

She gave a deep sigh before responding. "Guess you don't need me to confirm it for you...but Errant Rook has betrayed us all for the enemy. Command has given the order for his execution and is sending us out today, however it appears we are leaving sooner rather then later. Pardon me Zeke, but I have to mobilize everyone immediately." With a parting salute she calls out to the others.

"Training is canceled! We head for Abgrundstadt immediately! Use all means possible, we begin the hunt for Errant Rook now. Regroup at the city, eliminate all hostile then meet up near the subway entrance once the enemy has been eliminated!" With her order, she runs off to head for the facility exit. And she planned to head on foot to the city. It was not that far, since they could clearly see and hear the explosions. Like Errant said, it would take 5 minutes. Less time by vehicle.

Alexei was glad to be off of the battlefield. Although patching up the wounded could be harrowing for its own reasons, it was a little more up his alley. Unfortunately, for him, just as he had finished stitching and bandaging a man's shoulder, his superior officer approached him.
"Madsen," she said, not bothering with a greeting, simply wanting. His attention.
"What is it, Ma'am?" Alexei turned to face her, standing and saluting. He wondered to himself if Valoel had somehow found the time to talk to her about him.
"Albright was supposed to go with Ruhiel's company on a mission today, but he's come down with something nasty. Guy's puking his guts out." She paused for a moment, making deliberate eye contact with him. Alexei had a feeling that he knew what she was going to say. "We need a replacement for him."
Alexei closed his eyes for a moment. Of course. They knew he wouldn't argue, even if he could. "When do they leave?"
The officer checked her watch. "A few hours," the she said. She handed Alexei a small packet of papers, which a cursory examination revealed to be the briefing for the mission. "Every one else has been briefed already."
Alexei read quickly while the officer waited beside him, not quite looking at anything in particular. So, they were going to find Errant Rook. Alexei remembered him from the war. He remembered the face, some mannerisms. Alexei wondered how much Rook had changed since he had last seen him. Well, it seemed that this mission would leave a bad taste in his mouth. Oh well. As long as he could keep the majority of his charges alive, then he would feel alright. When he had finished, he handed the packet back to the officer. "Thank you," he said
"Get some rest," was all she said before exchanging salutes and leaving Alexei standing in the infirmary. He took a breath, then went to take care of himself.

After the order, Alexei forced himself to eat and drink. He then took a few more energy pills, fetched his staff and pistols, and restocked the supplies in his med kit and belt. It took only a few minutes, so he decided that a cigarette was in order on the way to the training grounds. Now, Alexei wasn't a heavy smoker, but on the rare occasion, they did make him feel better. He was feeling fine when he thought he felt a slight tremor beneath his feet. Before he could begin to wonder what it might have been, the alarms blared and flashed. Alexei swore quietly, glancing down at his cigarette. He couldn't just throw it out, it'd start a fire. He took another drag on it, then made a beeline for Valoel when he saw her. Alexei saluted her and Zeke hastily. "I will be replacing Albright," he explained as they hurried toward the city.

Victor remained the way he liked it the most, emotionless. It gave the voices less to feed on. He finished up his small inspection of the dummy, they were skillfully made. His apparent comrades were acting the same. Making their own small preparations. But no one of them really had time to properly get to the training as a man interrupted, the blue glow eminating from his hair was all too familiar. He was one of the old heroes which has fought the Titan. Victor immediately dropped the thought of his dummy, taking determined steps towards the soldier. He passed Viktoriya which was engaged with her own training. The thought of what she was doing enticed him but he knew what reaction he would get if he was to take a glance. He quickly passed her reaching the soldier, Zeke by the same time as Valoel. She gave him a salute and to Victors own surprise he slowly and lazily swung his right hand up to his forehead. Stretching out his back to his full length. "Don't do that, don't shame us like that!"An angry response forced Victor to lower his hand much faster than he would've liked. But inside he smiled, seemed he still had enough sense to have respect.

His red burning pupils was focused intensely on the man. He seemed to give an familiar reaction to the voices. They crawled deep inside Victor, like they were trying to hide from him. And Victor duly enjoyed the moment. Until a sudden explosion thundered throughout the base. Knocking the tranquility straight out of Victor. The voices spurred within him "We'll fight, Let's fight, Lets fight right now! We will tear them apart, Kill, Mutilate, Everything! They always had to get so damn excited.

Valoel shouted out their orders before sprinting off. Victor stood stunned for a moment, not because of he voices going berserk again. But for the sudden insight of the freedom he was given. He was to go off on his own, and fight using his own thoughts. Almost every battle Victor remember has been the same. He had been treated like a rabid dog. Let loose around the enemy and then subdued before being able to cause any unnecessary damage. Was this perhaps a chance for him? And was perhaps this new feeling enveloping him what's called, determination?

Victor gave Zeke a final glance before rushing after Valoel. She was admittedly quite fast, but Victor moved like a demon, even with the full plate armor. The armor itself was now more of an extension of himself. He wasn't slowed by it, atleast now while the voices was so excited for the upcoming battle. Just as he was himself.

Victor made no attempt to reply to her, which she hadn't really expected either way. She watched him quietly as the rest arrived, and wondered if Valoel had done the right thing in dismissing the earlier incident. There was clearly something wrong with him, which was a worrying thought if they were to head into battle together. For now, however, she decided to trust the opinion of her superior officer– at least Valoel had access to his case file.

Once everyone had arrived, they were given a briefing. Most other members of the crew decided to train afterwards. Having already gone into the fray earlier, Aurel decided it was far more important to rest– a decision she would later be grateful for. She watched the new recruit– the monstrosity brought by the Kaymbdenites– in particular. The creature seemed to know what she was doing. Aurel wondered how she'd have been created, or if she'd been born like that. They were questions she often posed about her own disfigurements on darker days.

She looked up as Zeke arrived, and would have smiled at his comment if she'd had a mouth to smile with. Her movement was far from inhibited by her garments, but that had taken years of training, and thousands of coins invested in the right gear. In dire situations, however, the hard training and careful saving was worth it. The smile would have disappeared as he spoke to Valoel however– she couldn't help but wonder why she hadn't mentioned Rook's connection to the Knighthood in her briefing. Surely that was of importance?

She wasn't given time to feed the thought, however, as the first bombs went off. She was on her feet by the time Valoel had the chance to give her orders, and nodded. "Yes M'am," she said, setting out after her and Victor. She checked both her swords were in place as she moved and came away satisfied; she was ready for another battle.

"Defected to the enemy," Zeke mumbles, his tone incredulous, watching as Valoel and her squad take off. "I don't buy it."

Without hesitation, without question, Viktoriya stopped her practice and sprinted off behind Valoel, her claws clattering against the flooring. Hers was not to question, but to follow orders, that is how she had been conditioned. She gazes ahead, meeting upon the back of Victor, the man who has given her continuous concerning signals since he's arrived. Noise, she thinks as she again tries to read him.

"This is good, some field testing," the Kaymbdenite man comments, watching the squad leaving in haste. Zeke grunts, running after them as well, nearly knocking the man over, agitating him as he straightens his collar. "What is deal with blue man?"

"Sir, you were not assigned this unit," the messenger soldier yells at Zeke, nearly knocking the Kaymbdenite over as well, cut off by a stern glance back from him. He simply stops and salutes, aware of the futility of trying to stop him when he's like this. "O-of course sir, good luck."

No way would that man worship one of those things, Zeke ponders, eyes narrowing as he charges ahead.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Hi, guys. Go ahead and skip me this time.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Alright, full permission now to skip. Temporary NPC status if necessary for inactive users, just pay respects to the original character's... characteristics.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

It's all good! Take care of yourself.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Sorry guys, I've had a down period so I've been trying to force myself to write but it hasn't been working. Looking up now though so I'm gonna try to get something done ASAP.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Hey, been quiet around here, what's up?

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

I've had my last week and a half at my current job so I've been swamped! Last day today so I should get something up tonight or tomorrow morning.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Same here! I'm back now froma after almost a week of inactivity! Have been terrorized by the big mean thing we call life! I'll get back to posting!

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Sorry it took me a while to post! I've not been feeling well.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Again, I didn't even notice as Crichton snuck in a post! Other than that, I hope anyone don't mind too much that I took the liberty and struck at the cannon, Victor did get absolutely nailed in the process so I think stunts like those will be a no-go for the rest of the mission.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Ach, I'm sorry I'm so late all the time. I'll get started on my next post now!

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Soo, I'll be waiting for o'l Crichton, hope to hear from ya buddy!

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Yeah, go ahead and skip me for this one, I can't get the internet to work for more than three seconds at the time :(

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Temptation, to, post, rising.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Bit late again, the airline lost my suitcase and my computer was in it because I'm an idiot. I'll get it back tonight though.

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Well, I say... whoever wants to take up the reigns after Spec's Rook arc is finished. After all, unless something changes, my Outsider is still under lock and key. :|

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

I sneak in posts when you least expect them. In the night, while you sleep. Under the radar. Also, I was kinda assuming we'd take turns on making the Outsiders villains or something to that effect– although that would obviously take a while. What say ye, GM?

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Alright, took me way to long to realize that Crichton had posted, but now I'm done. Other than that, is there any plan for when the Outsider characters will come into play?

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

I'm going to write a post right now but you can go ahead if you like!

Re: Bedlam Dawn: Freedom's Fare

Should I wait for Crichton here or should I just go ahead and post?
